Another lolirock theory

So, most of the fandom thinks that Banes is the mastermind, which I 100% believe. But giving Praxina a mask isn't the only thing Banes could have messed up with.

In Crowning Glory before the blast, we can see Banes teleporting from the scene of incident.

And did anybody notice that Mephisto and Praxina fell in the exactly same place?

But for some reason, Mephisto wasn't there when Praxina woke up.

We were speculating that Banes knew that Gramorr is going to lose so he (Banes) chose Praxina as his new puppet in case of lose. Honestly, I don't think that Banes had anything to do with Mephisto's "death" but I'm 95% sure he manipulated situation to make Praxina think that her brother is dead.

It was shown that Banes teleported after the stones were destroyed and the thing that Banes was often shown during this scene makes me think, and if you look at the pictures above you can say they fell in to literally the same place.

Apart from the fact that I don't believe that Mephisto is dead, I don't think Banes killed him. I think he could took him from the place of their fall.

And another thing. Because it's not that, that Praxina didn't look and didn't try to look for Mephisto.

Because she actually crawled on the ground for some time and preferred him until Banes came to her with the mask and stopped her from it and suggested idea of revenge.

I really hope for season 3 because I'm very curious and want to see Praxina additionally being manipulated by Banes after loosing everything she cared about in life. I just love angst.

Spider-Man Read-Through 097 Secret Wars II (SWII 1-9, ASM 268, 273-274, WSM 6, SSM 111)

A hot alien? Trying to invade Earth?

The Beyonder arrives on Earth, and this issue (SWII #1) is, at first, basically all about warning everyone to go fight him. We notably get a scene where Captain America is in a plane and uses his "Avengers Priority Card" to ask the pilots to change course (but they only need his words).

Then the Beyonder gives a random guy powers, the two of them fight the X-Men, Magik is subsumed by her demonic powers and...

Oh well, if he's a Republican, yeah go for it, sure.

Okay, you know what? This issue isn't very good. And I hear it does not get better. I'm not into the Beyonder as a character (he just "wants to experience" and that's it). Let's skim through the Spidey issues, shall we?

Web of Spider-Man 6: A building became gold, Spidey gets a golden notebook.

ASM 268: Uuuuh Spidey follows a guy?

ASM 273: The cosmic cult grows, Peter still has his hot pink/purple vest, the plot threads are vaguely continued.

Peter welcomes Ned in his own home in a bathrobe during the first Clone Saga. They worked pretty well together! Don't try to make him a villain! (Even though this magazine has now been trying for half a decade...)

See, this is something I can gush on: Peter's outfit, and hotness in that second panel. Is this Namor?

Meanwhile, Ned and Lance spy on Betty and Flash... Right, is this finally coming to a head?

Not yet... Anyway, Puma's sent to Tokyo by the Beyonder (I wish that was me, I miss it), he returns with a kimono for MJ. How nice!

SSM 111: We get a flashback to Puma's impromptu trip to Japan. The Beyonder repeats for the umpteenth time that someone needs to know who he is and where he comes from but nobody cares, dear readers. Nobody cares. Spidey accidentally kills a woman, Maude.

And then this happens.

And the Beyonder is determined to see Puma's destiny (which is to kill him) through. Puma's too weak, though. Back to square one.

ASM 274:

If this is what it takes to see more of the cast, then I'll take it!

So yeah, if you were wondering, he's hot.

Mephisto strikes a deal with the Beyonder for just another day, which is quite pathetic. His champion shall be Spider-Man (not that he had a choice).

We get a small visit from a Green Goblin illusion, which doesn't really motivate Spidey the way Mephisto envisioned it. And when later Peter falls asleep...

Oh enough with the drop-out comments already, this is soooo passé!

We also get a visit from Gwen and her father.

Nice panels, for what's worth.

Spidey triumphs over the Beyonder's champion with the power of determination, but his original goal -protecting the Kingpin- is still unresolved.

Nice panels. Anyway, Spidey saves him in the nick of time.

I'll probably skip the issues in between, hehe.

Feeding into the Sakura-chan subplot: you have some extra plum sweets that you hand to Belial, and he's like do you have a message for Mephisto. Sarcastically, you're like "tell him these reminded me of his hair, so here", not knowing the monster you're about to create. He's probably going to start referring to himself as "Your darling Ume-chan", which I think means plum or plum blossom.

If you give him that idea, he's going to take it and run with it. You will no longer be getting cherry blossom scented products; he'll probably hire someone to make products that combine the scent of plums and cherry blossoms. It'll match your love perfectly~
