in the silent era of horror, the word "horror" began to be used as a generic signation, and more often instead used was the words "weird" and "mythical and mysterious." this is a time when adaptions were so rapidly made like frankenstein and edgar allan poe's works dominated this era. horror as a genre wasn't specifically "created" or the word wasn't used until dracula in the 1930s.

The gods of the Disc have never bothered much about judging the souls of the dead, and so people only go to hell if that's where they believe, in their deepest heart, that they deserve to go. Which they won't do if they don't know about it. This explains why it is so important to shoot missionaries on sight.

The Two-Sided Statue of Mephistopheles and Margaretta
This 19th-century sculpture, displayed at the Salar Jung Museum in India, is carved from a single log of sycamore wood. Created by an anonymous French sculptor, it features Mephistopheles and Margaretta, the iconic characters from Goethe's "Faust," on opposite faces.

Here comes the theater nerd to spice up your day:
If I'm not mistaken the cover of "Prequelle" is actually a take on a very old theater device called a
It's interesting because it did eventually take on an aspect of Cerberus. I think of this one as one I've heard used in stagings of Goethe's Faust where the left hand has Devils descend and the right has Angels descend to wait for Faust's soul to exit his body. The center in that description was a whale's jaw, or Leviathan if you want to be all technical about it.
Anyway, Copia having a three headed monstrosity called Hellmouth as a pet sounds like a pretty awesome headcanon anyway.
If we're gonna conclude that Copia has pet rats from the Prequelle songs, he should also have the giant three headed rat monstrosity from the Prequelle album cover as a pet too. It's only fair.
It's a huge and devious abomination that eats human flesh and the souls of the damned and Copia loves it. It's his best friend. He names it something cute so no one suspects anything
It has tried to eat V at least three times already
