sometimes a healthy relationship isn't 50/50 because it can't be, and that's okay.

disabled people who cannot take on an equal portion of the work in a relationship deserve to be loved too, if that's what they want. and as long as their partner is getting the support they need, and is happy to take on that work, then what's the issue? it's nobodys business but your own the way that works in your relationship.

if you or your partner are disabled, and you can't split the work in the relationship 50/50, that's okay. you're not abusive, or a baby, or unloveable because of that. I promise

Finarfin Fades.

No one expects it, no one’s faded in Valinor since Miriel. The War of Wrath is won and he comes back, waving off the courtiers, well wishers, and congratulators with his usual grace, and walks into the palace of Tirion. To rooms abandoned since their owners left so long ago. Winding deeper and deeper his feet take him to what was once Finwë’s favourite garden.

He’s so tired.

He’s fulfilled his promise to Fëanaro and Nolofinwë, to avenge them. To make the agony of their final moments - agony Finarfin felt, falling to the floor screaming as fire and darkness consumed his spirit - count for something. Now Morgoth is finally gone, but he’s not the only one.

His brothers, larger than life, larger than death, are gone. With them his sons. Niece. Nephews. Grandchildren. His daughter is never to return. He Saw little Nelyo’s death in his dreams and is sure hopes for the child’s own sake that Makalaurë will be close behind.

Little remains. Even less on these golden shores.

So Finarfin sits on a bench long overgrown with vines and weeds, and watches the sun filter through the thicket, wishing the ghosts he sees in his father’s garden would flesh out.

He sits. He waits.

And by the time anyone finds him, it’s too late.

…at least he’s smiling again.

Thinking about Wade getting dressed up randomly and sending a bunch of pictures in various outfits to Logan at like 2 in the morning.

He's snoring away, hears his phone ping, groans, rolls over, it pings again. And again. And again. Oh! And again! Another time- Oh dont forget again! And again... and again.. and aga-

He growls, turns on the phone to see who is messaging him only to realize that Wade is gone and his inbox is full of Wade posing in outfits, sometimes with a wig he styled, sometimes in just his hello kitty pjs, sometimes in full decked out chains and baggy jeans (god early 2000s emo skater wade would he so hot) doing that tounge out peace sign thing, sometimes in a pretty pink dress and cutsey wutsey make up with his blonde pigtail wig, sometimes in wolvies costume (it's too big on him 🥺💕) and and sometimes nothing but sparkly lipgloss.

Logans ager subsides as he heavily sighs, smiling and going through, hearting each one and saving his favorites before putting it on mute and going back to bed.

That's it. That's the entire thought.

I love how they set taub’s biggest issue up to be the fact that he cheats on his wife. like that’s the only thing wrong with him really. and everybody dunks on him for it. meanwhile wilson has been causally dropping the fact that he’s a serial philanderer since season 1 and nobody bats an eye because there’s just so much else to unpack that it might be the most normal aspect of his personality
