Will Solace has literally never ever come across as a golden retriever, not once. In fact, he’s literally compared to a cat. The only sunshiny thing about him are his powers and his face, they are misleading because his personality is basically the opposite.

Nico may present himself in a ‘black cat’ kinda way but deep down he’s a softie and the amount of times he thinks super cute, love sick things in tsats is WILD. He reminds me of a drenched rat who likes to curl up on someone’s chest and snooze.

heyyyy!! jily is my number one james ship and it’s the only one i really ship. but tbh i dont dislike prongsfoot, i think its valid even if i dont ship it. my fav trope has always been childhood best friends to lovers so maybe that plays a part. also i can respect it because james and sirius have a very deep relationship in canon, and if characters are canonically close friends then theres very few things i can pick on in a ship of them. both james and lily are dead by the time the series takes place, but even after all those years its really evident how much sirius continues to love james and its really sweet. you can tell sirius really believed james saved him from a much darker and lonelier life, and i believe so too. then there are little sweet things like how they shared a mirror to talk to each other when they were serving different detentions, james wanting to make sirius the secret-keeper and only relenting to giving the title to peter when sirius told him to, all showing slight moments of how deep their bond was. the tragedy aspect of james’ death goes so hard too, not just the part where sirius gets locked up for his murder, but also the part where james only made peter the secret-keeper because of sirius’ plan (and also how sirius distrusted remus). so i think its cute and the shippers dont annoy me so… 🤝

Playing 3DS games after having seen the overall fandom response to release and long-term impact and the way it's looked back on and such is... bizarre, honestly? Like, maybe it's just because we got our introduction to gaming in the 3DS era, but it's incredibly strange to know that games we knew and loved and would have considered relatively mainstream just... didn't stick in people's minds.

Like, take the Gen 6 Pokemon games. Those were great games! One of the single things about X/Y/OR/AS that we don't see people talking about but that stuck in our mind was how the developers made an effort to make it so that every single Pokemon in the games prior was spread between just those four games! We remember that just the sheer variety of potential Pokemon available was enough to get us a start into challenge runs simply by virtue of how much variety could be added to a playthrough by the sheer amount of potential on offer!

We remember spending hours just... hunting around the region to figure out where those last Pokemon we needed to fill the 'dex were, wandering around to try and find Hidden Ability pokemon from Horde battles, getting to actually interact with our Pokemon in Pokemon Amie.

Yeah, there were more obscure games out there, and yeah, they impacted us as well - Pocket Card Jockey stands out in this regard, as an extremely fun game that we're pretty sure was played by maybe three people, maximum, but it's not quite the same. These were games that we played ourself! These were games we saw other people playing, that we played with people over the internet, that felt like they were well-known! We were under the impression that these were mainstream interests, not Niche! it feels... singularly bizarre to realize that, for the majority of people out there, this game was a forgettable disappointment.

so james’ tattoos are obvs the antlers along his v-line, matching with sirius’ flower v-line tats, his gryffindor quidditch jersey number on his bicep, and then constellations across his chest for sirius and reg. regulus has stars tattooed around his moles, on his collarbone, arms, and back, all in slightly different styles, since some have been done by different artists and some have been done by his friends. he also has a sun over his heart with long rays reaching out across his body.
