Isaiah 9:2

Tails and Nine parallel, but they are in my Sonic AU, where I basically just interpret the characters the way I see them. In my AU, Nine isn’t part of the parallel universe, just an unlucky fox who happens to look similar to Tails! Dr.Eggman found him, and chose to experiment on him out of curiosity. What caused these results? Why does he look like this? Is he related to Tails? Unfortunately, Nine now hates Tails, due to Dr.Eggman just comparing him and basically torturing him because of Tails.

Now how does this relate to the verse? The one who walked in great darkness is Nine. The constant experiments and his deteriorating mental state have made his life miserable, but Sonic and his team have found out about him, and have strived to break him out (being the great light). Tails, on the other hand, has the light (Sonic) constantly shown on him, because of his childhood trauma, being HIS darkness. Let’s hope they get along in the future!
