I haven’t drawn Sonic fanart since I was like 13 but the Sonic 3 trailer made me want to draw Shadow! This was fun! I’m not a *major* Sonic fan but every time new stuff comes out I get reminded “oh yeah I like these characters”. (I adored The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog)

in the snapcube shadow 2005 dub, shadow yells that he costs 69 cents. funny as the joke is on its own, this also implies that gerald spent all the government given funds making the biolizard, realized it was a failure, scrapped it, and used his last 69 cents to build a 3'3" hedgehog (who's only 3'3" with his heels on)

I think it's a funny concept that when the Da Devil from the Shadow Fandub messed with the timeline it caused a ripple effect and it just so happened to fuck over Sonic Destruction's time and space.

Fandub Shadow: Hey, don't you think it's odd that we went through time manipulation and everything turned out fine?

Fandub Sonic: Nah, you're thinking about it way too hard.

Fandub Shadow: Yeah, you're right.

Meanwhile in Sonic Destruction: This is not fine.

Idk if it was intentional or just a byproduct of the dub being improvised in one take but the fact that the Devil starts out by telling Shadow "Most actions are sinful" only to spend the rest of the dub litigating what exactly counts as a sin and coming up with excuses not to give him Sin Points is INCREDIBLY funny

am i the only one who thinks the laugh in the sonic 3 logo reveal video sounds like david humphrey's shadow laugh and not like jim carrey's eggman laugh. like i literally slapped the table and whisper screamed "DAVID HUMPHREY????" when i heard that laugh
