Okay, I honestly don't understand why Jocelyn chose Valentine out of the two of them, with his fascist hairstyle and the eternal expression of a rested bitch on his face, and that's not to mention his shitty character. Luke is a hundred times more attractive, and in general, he's a good guy❤️😍 who always took care of her, unlike the fascist
Moreover, she had managed to ignore him for so many years🤷
p.s. Oh, and no wonder Valentine got jealous and decided to get rid of Luke-deep down in his disgusting soul, he knew that his parabatai was better than himself!

How do you guys think Valentine killed Michael and Johnathan?
Personally, I think he stabbed Michael and then burnt the house down while Johnathan was still alive so he wouldn’t have to do it with as little work and as quickly as possible while still making sure Michael couldn’t pick up his son and manage to escape the fire.

do you guys ever think about how after meeting Valentine, Stephen burned all his things & started dressing just like Valentine. and how Clary describes Jace's room as neat and tidy and empty like it belongs to a monk & not a teenage boy, just like Valentine. because by being Valentine's son, Jace is Stephen's

I am very interested in their relationship, although most likely their friendship was very toxic. Did Luke even realize that Valentine had betrayed him before, even before he handed him the dagger and told him to kill himself? Valentine betrayed him when he framed him, he betrayed their friendship, their parabatai bond... And after that, Luke didn't hate him. And after that, it's Valentine who accuses Luke of betrayal! Ah, I want a story about them!
A little reminder: Luke realized he was in love with Jocelyn when Valentine started dating her. The curse of the parabatai "one woman for two"?

Circle Member of the Week: Stephen Herondale
“When he demanded I leave Amatis, the woman I love, and marry Céline, a girl I did not know, I did as he asked, to my everlasting shame… It was not her fault, but mine. Your mother was an innocent from a family that brutalized her: she wanted only kindness, to feel safe and loved. And though my heart had been given already, I loved her, in my fashion, just as in my heart, I was faithful to Amatis.” - Stephen’s letter to his son

I watched a movie about a sect, and this moment strongly associated Stephen and his relationship to Valentine and the circle. in the end, this smile is fanatically sick. and the fact that Stephen knelt in front of Valentine seems to be canon, judging from the graphic novel by Cassandra Jean...
A moment from the movie "Jackals" 2017; Music - Gothic Lullaby Eric Vargas; The text of Cassandra Clare from Stephen's letter to Jace

Cassie describes Valentine's appearance so interestingly. She constantly repeats how huge he is, how wide his shoulders are and what delicate facial features he has.
🤷 and the comparison with the sculptures in general put me in a confusion😅
In fact, I've never been able to visualize him clearly in my mind. and then I saw him in some movie and thought that maybe he looked like Valentine in some way…

i think it's interesting how we find out in the wicked ones that celine wasn't exactly a victim in the amatis/stephen divorce situation. i mean, she was certainly a victim of valentine, but in the case of amatis and stephen's divorce, she wasn't the victim—in fact, amatis was the only victim. stephen, of course, was the most guilty, since he was the one who was married and the one who decided to end his marriage because valentine told him to, and marry a girl he referred to as a child
