the name for this one is very much still under debate. But, the fic itself has been a WIP for quite a few months, actually. This one, Overtime, and a few other WIPs were churned in the same time frame of each other, we just got really busy and couldn't work on them.

'Obediant' Soldier is heavily inspired off of a content creator Sebastián and I love over on TikTok. Gay Guy Gabe, we love his content so much and he has been one of our many pools of inspiration. It's specifically from the video he did to the sound of "good little girl, always picking a fight with me(+)" about Zeb commenting on how in Kallus eyes (beginning of Bahryn), he's "bad", and yet he's safe with him. The short skit inspired this.

We have about 2.5 scenes written out for this one so far and it'll have about a total of 5 or 6. Planned.

Its about Zeb noticing that Kallus tends to be... a bit different when he's around him than when he's around his 'precious' empire. This fic starts during The Honorable Ones, then continues through Kallus’s disillusionment, and is set to end some point around him becoming fulcrum. It's mostly just Zeb being a bit smug about the fact that cold, tense, sharp agent tends to be more at ease around a rebel than his own men. It's not one of our more serious works, it's taking a much more lighthearted tone to things. It's about the beginning stages of Kallus and Zeb moving from enemies/temporary allies to allies/friends (maybe some mutual pining will be thrown in.)

So how exactly do the hero and villain balances work?

I actually find it really fun that your story is similar to mine—mainly in just the hero and villain aspect anyways...so I wanna know more about what your twists with it were!

This is extremely late, I am so sorry. But, it’s here! I had to take the time to realize outside of the characters, there’s not much. I’ve got a long way to go before I feel ready to write it. :’) (Under read more) Side note: I’m hoping to simply write this on ao3, as Tumblr’s format isn’t exactly designed for multi-chapter stories, so after I get an account, and after I actually puzzle out a plot is when I’ll start writing. I’m always open to ideas, and I’ll make sure to credit you (if you give me something to credit, like you, or I’ll probably say something like ex: this is brought to you by the anon in this post).

There are spoilers here, but yeah! (For my story).

So, I’d say there’s more heroes than villains, but there’s more major villains and more minor heroes than anything, like six major heroes and thirteen major villains (all heroes and villains are being developed), but there’s like fifty minor heroes and twelve minor villains. This is approximate, but it’s the idea. It’s pretty balanced, and sometimes heroes win and sometimes villains lose. Vigilantes just try and save civilians. Some are told to be vigilantes by the Hero Foundation, to give them a good look, but some do it willingly. I’d say there’s more vigilantes than villains but less than heroes. Honestly, the two sides are mainly important in the beginning, as later, our vigilantes might just… leave the planet, if you catch my drift. Anyways, hope you don’t mind me using this ask to also talk about some world building! I’m basing this off a bit of Minecraft, mainly the End, Nether, and Overworld, which exist in Starania (the name of the planet). I probably will do a future word vomit on that and a few heroes who might star a future story- that has no title. Hybrids spawn instead of mobs (minus the light level stuff, they spawn in specific places, like avians in trees, and pandas in bamboo forests) although not as frequently. Startopia (the capital. I’m toootally super creative with my names (sarcasm)) is a high tech sci fi city that’s like New York… without stuff, if you get what I mean. So, yeah, sorry if it doesn’t answer your question, and feel free to ask many basically any future or follow up questions, and be sure to tell me if I didn’t answer something in your ask!

Not a big deal to me. I like it, I see all the appeals, I just personally like Rarijack more.

#ask me #anon #if you wanna know why i like rarijack more i just think they're a healthier depiction of a domestic and longterm relationship #appledash gives me the vibes of gfs that'll eventually break up #because from s1 to s8 their relationship and communication with each other on serious things never really matures or grows #they were competitive and petty in s1 and they were competitive and petty in s8 #arguably worse cuz in that s8 episode their dynamic becomes so toxic they almost cause a student under their care to drown #both of them have a superiority complex that's constantly conflicting with each other and it never really gets resolved #but with rarijack there's a very clear arc of development you can follow in their character #and multiple episodes show how they'll argue and eventually come back together and apologize and communicate and work to better things #you can watch them grow to like and understand each other. in s1 aj scoffs and makes fun of rarity's work in fashion #but in a later season (after some conflict) aj says that she doesn't understand fashion but she knows it means a lot to rarity so it means #a lot to her too. and that's what love is to me. “it didn't mean anything to me until it meant something to you”#it's genuinely really sweet and i'd argue rarijack /feels/ the most romantic out of all the main 6 ships. through arguing they grow closer #which is how it's supposed to be in relationships that last! you argue to work out your interpersonal problems and understand each other #(which is why it's genuinely kinda baffling to me that appledash ended up being canonically married because they never gave me those vibes)#but it really doesn't matter. they're cartoon horses! have fun with them

DC x DP prompt

Danny is hanging out with Dora, and gets caught in a trap by Aragon. He takes the dragon amulet and phases it into Danny’s chest, which turns Danny into a dragon, and then sends him through a natural portal to cause chaos.

Aragon tries to take over the zone while Danny is gone but Dora beats the crap out of him.

Meanwhile Danny is a dragon now, smaller than his human form because he’s still a baby ghost, and his core reflects that. Baby dragon Danny was sent to the DC universe and lands (un)gracefully in an alley in Gotham.

He could be feral like little baby man but he could also just be regular Danny brain power as a ghostly dragon. Who is like three feet long. He does his best to get his bearings, roams around a bit, hides from people, and scrounges for food as he tries to find a way back home. (Might not realize he’s not in his universe)

Danny catches the attention of some not so great people and runs and hides in an alley, digging into the trash or under a dumpster bc he is Smol.

Meanwhile Damian is out on patrol and hears commotion on the streets. He swiftly beats up this gang of guys chasing someone(or something) into an alley. After running them off he hears rustling amongst the trash in the dark alley. He thinks it’s a cat, as it usually is, but is surprised to find an actual, baby, black and white dragon with bright green eyes.

Obviously he plans to take him home, but has to coax Danny out from underneath the dumpster. Maybe he uses some snacks from his cool pouches on his belt. Eventually he wins over Danny, but Damian has to keep him a secret from the batfam.

The secret does not last long. Keeping a dragon in your room is not a good hiding spot. But, he found that Danny likes to cuddle, so obviously the little dragon had to stay with him.

Alfred found out first, promised not to say anything and help feed the dragon. Not sure who finds out next but Danny probably tries to bite Dick when he tries to pick him up a bunch.

Damian plans to train Danny to be his sidekick. If Batman gets a batdog, obviously Damian needs a bat dragon. Name is a work in progress, but Damian still makes Danny a lil bat outfit to match Ace.

Eventually everyone finds out and Bruce especially is trying to figure out where the dragon came from and why he’s just chilling with the fam. The tamest dragon he’s ever seen tbh it makes him worried

Damian finds out about some of Danny’s powers and shenanigans ensue. Danny gets comfy with the bats and is treating the whole thing like a vacation away from his troublesome life. Dragons probably purr, right?

Eventually maybe Danny finds a way to communicate that he’s actually a teenager trapped in dragon form and he needs help. The batfam collectively lose their minds when Danny’s revealed to have black hair and blue eyes.
