Tell us a bit about yourself.

Oh shoot I should have figured that would be a question. Umm, I'm Nicolas, which I mean you probably know from the application. Ah, I'm what's called a military brat. My parents are both in the military and did a whole bunch of postings as I was growing up so we were never in one place for very long. It's made me kind of shy I guess, I'm not great at relating to others. I have one sister, Teresa, she's a decade younger than me but we get along.

And why have you applied?

Funny story. Well not really. Ah my younger sister Teresa actually applied for me. I consider myself pansexual but I've only ever been romantically attracted to guys. That was not a fun conversation with my father. But he's fine abut it now. What was I saying? Oh yeah, Teresa. She keeps telling me I need a boyfriend so I don't turn in to a hermit, I've had to shut down several fake dating profiles she's made on my behalf. I told her I'm shy, and the idea of being on camera all day scares me, and having to compete... But I don't want to let her down, she was so excited my application got accepted.

Tell us about some of your likes and dislikes

I'm a bit animal mad, it's what made me become vegetarian. As much as I like being outside hiking, gardening, bird watching... I cannot stand fishing. I just feel so bad for the poor fish, like what a terrible way to die. And even if you throw them back they're probably freaking out thinking they were abducted, and they are definitely still injured from the hook! Sorry... I don't mean to lecture I just... I like animals okay. You can fish all you like just don't expect me to join.

I'm a little bit musical. I mean I don't perform for anyone but myself and occasionally Teresa. Mum tried to get me in to violin but it was so boring. Guitar is my instrument. Well, musical instrument not... you know. Ah... I did a programming course after high school that was not for me, and I'm rather useless at fixing or making things. Except baking! I do like baking. I've definitely got a sweet tooth.

What are you dreading?

People. You'd probably think with having to introduce myself new places so many times it wouldn't worry me but it does. I'm pretty quiet so people can think I'm being a snob when really I just have no idea what to say. Is there a gender neutral or masculine term for resting bitch face? And I don't know if I can take my guitar. Playing it is what calms me down. Well that and cloudgazing. So hopefully the weather is good and I can get outside between challenges. I've really no idea how this show works. Also worried about losing my contacts but that's an everyday worry.

What are you looking forward to?

I mean.. Teresa showed me the picture of Daisy and yeah he's good looking. Those eyes, I just completely missed what she told me right after because I was dreaming. She also said he wasn't actually organizing it so I really really hope he can understand this all being a surprise for me because it's one for him to. And she said he has farm animals! I want to meet them. Hopefully they'll like me and that can convince him I'm a keeper.

Do you have a message for Mr Bloom?

Oh, ah, sure! Umm... hey there good looking. Give me a chance to show you I'm certified boyfriend material. Well not certified because I've never had a boyfriend. *BLEEP* I didn't mean to say that, I don't want the other contestants knowing. Can I start the message again?

SF ZINEFEST 2024! Some pictures from the San Francisco Zinefest last week! I had a wonderful time, and it was SUPER busy! thanks everyone who swung by to pick up prints and zines from me, I really appreciate it. It was really heartening to see people enjoy my art and remember me from over the years—I’ve had a very busy year and not as much time to “be an artist” as I’d like, so it was very invigorating to be around other queer artists again in a dedicated and enthusiastic space. When online a lot, you tend to forget how it is to be around art in person, and this was a great reminder of it—also every year, I’m always excited to see the beautiful outfits and fashion of the attendees! Someday I’ll dress up more special, but alas it’s just work and apron for me XD

I also finally got to meet longtime mutual and incredible artist @megamoth in person, and got a copy of their Devilman zine series here I contributed to some years ago! Here’s a pic with a cool itabag as well.

This year, I debuted a few new works:

“Fujo X-Ray Visions”

is a collection of personal comics from the past year I’ve been posting here and on Patreon, mostly about trying to balance life as a cartoonist and as someone pursuing some new career experiences in the healthcare field. Like “Voids and Visions” before it, there’s a bunch of personal stuff and angsting along with regular goofiness.

It’s available now both as a physical zine, as well as a digital download!

“If All The World Were Mine!”

My collection of artwork and comics I’ve done for my medieval rpf side account, @angevinyaoiz over the past couple years. It’s a mix of some serious historical illustrations, goofy cartoons, and nsfw works. It’s probably one of the most “niche” things I’ve ever made or gotten into as of late, but I’m happy for the audience who has appreciated my work over the past several months. It’s available currently as a physical zine purchase on storenvy, and I’m planning on making an expanded digital zine version available later—fill out this form to be notified!

“Best Yaoi Movies of 20th Century Hollywood”

In this collaborative project I did with my friend @titilvating, in the style of classic cut and paste, copied zines, we offer our takes on 19 movies made before the year 2000. Many are acclaimed classics; some are underrated gems. We made this zine to both introduce folks to the richness possibilities of classic movies; whether longtime cinephiles familiar with queer subtexts, or young fujos looking for more material to sink their yaoifangs into. Our sample size caters to our personal tastes rather than “good representation” and reflects a fraction what’s out there, with a focus on western US/European media, but hopefully can serve as a fun introduction and celebration. Old movies are a lotta fun, who would’ve thought?

Other Works:

My print version of “The Sons of God” was very well received! I realized sometimes giving little titles to print pieces make for great conversation starters, and I got to chat a lot about my inspirations for the respective pieces. Grab a physical print here!

Ending Thoughts

Overall, I’m glad I got to meet lots of people this year and also pick up lots of zines! I didn’t have a chance to really browse this time around since it was so busy, but I got to trade a lot with folks and also pick up some cool zines and stickers myself.

For those who’d like to keep up with what I’m doing, follow me here, on Patreon, either as a member or free-follower, since I tend to post my sketches/WIPs there first. For me now, it’s back to the grind of school and also continuing creative projects. I have a lot of stuff I dream of doing, and it’s always a challenge to balance that with what needs to get done. If I learned anything from this event, it’s how valuable it is to connect with people in the real world art space (Something I always learn and forget like every few months.)…also, always bring water and snacks—can never be TOO prepared!

E.V.I.L.:

KC: She very rarely has any spare time bc her presence is demanded everywhere by everyone for business stuff, but they like going camping! He also goes on. A lot of Tinder dates. Like. A lot. Idk if dating counts as a hobby but for him it probably is. It’s gonna stay that way too until she stops scaring dates off. Aside from that, he loves going for walks, going to restaurants and talking to friends!! (If only he had any.) Very much a person who likes to Go Places and Do Things

Eclipse: Spare time? What spare time?? With that man’s schedule?? I think the hell not! What little time Eclipse gets to himself he spends sleeping and mentally prepping for his next shift, but, if by some divine intervention he got to do more then that on any given evening, then his ass is watching soap operas and movies on his couch and watching cat videos on tiktok during the ad breaks.

BM: Their hobbies include: robbery, listening to music, committing tax fraud, visiting aquariums with their yearly pass, terrorizing fast food restaurants, making unholy food abominations that somehow include blood in them, shoplifting, terrorizing their local hot topic WHILE shoplifting, adding to their knife collection, whatever random hobby they picked up for a singular weekend that their ADHD ass then dropped as soon as the fixation ended….. oh and they draw sometimes!

SF: Can’t answer this one bc spoilers, it’s not like huge spoilers but it is gonna be a really cute and fun thing that I want yall to see for yourself!

G.O.O.D.:

Earth: She likes to play the violin! Will sometimes write new songs but she doesn’t perform them or anything. She loves clothes shopping and putting together outfits in her spare time, she’ll also happily dress up anyone who asks her to. She also likes doing her own hair and other folks hair, makeup too! She’s a girly girl! She also loves playing video games and board games with her co-workers! She’s…. Fiercely competitive….

Sun: She loves listening to audiobooks in his spare time, he also likes to play the piano! Though he doesn’t make any new music of his own unless she’s collaborating with Earth on a song. Like Earth, xe also LOVES to play board games and card games, the group has special versions of the games they use that include braille! Going for walks, knitting, and making crafts are also a thing she finds really fun, he just really loves doing more calm activities, with the exception of game nights!

Moon: This fucking nerd is modding video games in his spare time and putting in another 20 hours into Stardew Valley or Minecraft. You’d think with how many threats he makes that Moon would be into more violent video games like battle royals or team based shooters but he takes after his brother a lot in the whole ‘I prefer relaxing hobbies’ department. He also finds great joy in building things and coding, making neat little gadgets that don’t do anything particularly special but do something neat! Oh, and weapons, of course. If he’s not building a silly little device then he’s reenacting Myth Busters or some shit or trying to make a weapon that does something outrageous. “A rocket powered hammer does not exist but *could* it?” Also loves driving around the city rather than walking, clears his head.

Lunar: Lunar shares a lot of hobbies that the other members of the group also happen to have, he loves playing video games and making crafts! They also like watching dog videos! Funnily enough, he’s picked up scrapbooking, and I’ve already mentioned how he’s picked up learning braille. He also wants to learn how to play piano or the violin from Earth or Sun but he’s too nervous to ask.

Bio (pre Smoke Screen): born to a slave camp while Shao Kahn was still kicking, the boy escaped to a fortress, where he found two mystic daggers which he used to escape said fortress. When he returned, he found nothing but corpses of every man and woman there, including his parents. As he was about to be jumped by a guard, he puts his hands in front of the guard as a means to block and the blades fly through his chest. With this newfound power, he slaughtered every man in that camp and ran away. Soon after, a mage by the name of Dorfen took him under his wing. Teaching him everything he would later learn in life, and most importantly: teaching him that comedy is the best medicine. After several years, the boy learned to control his fire, both figuratively and litteraly), crafted a mask made of a special metal, put together a red, white and black outfit and sew together a cape made of feathers. Giving himself a new name, being Red Robin. With this, he hung around in the market, knocking over criminals and very occasionaly killing a couple. After Shao's death, Kitana has taken up the throne as the new Kahn and hired Robin as protection for the royal house.

(Smoke Screen and beyond) Special Forces, along with Sub Zero and Smoke, walked trough the door, and first thing Robin does is make fun of Kuai fuckin' Liang and almost dies for it. He helps them out with their Black Dragon issue and after it, he he joins the SF as a member of the Kombat Kids™, goes on missions n' shit and hangs out with @cyberneticsanguinaire's Billie any second he can.

Fighting style: Robin doesn't have a direct name for his fighting style, but the main things he does while fighting are to look as sick as possible. Wether its flipping, spinning or sliding, He doesn't care if he needs big damage, he just wants to look cool.

Weapons/abilities: Robin's weapons of choice are his two mystic daggers which he uses for long and close range, as he can throw them and control the direction of the daggers through the air. He can also boost his damage by lighting his blades on fireussing fire magic, passed down by his father. His fire glows green, kind of like Spawn's fire in MK11

six hundred and eighty: 2023

so the weekend i saw yuan and had so much fun in SF, was the last weekend cory was alive. that’s when i wore this outfit, which i remember thinking i’d capture in a picture and post here. but then everything changed. that was the weekend of october 7th. so when cory died peacefully in his home, thousands of palestinians were being killed in theirs. they still are. what a bizarre, sick time. a time not to celebrate, but to grieve and lament and witness.

2023 has been a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad year—and i mean that sincerely, but i also don’t. there were good things too. not just the shiny, post-to-the-gram things like promotions and vacations, but ordinary good things we learn to take for granted.

i saw the sun rise again and again. i ate good food, some of which i cooked. i got to see a lot of the people i love in person. i talked to some of them on the phone. i read more books this year than i read in the previous two years combined. i listened to great music and watched great (and terrible) movies.

there were some moments where i felt, surprisingly, like it would all be okay. this incredible lightness that must be love, god, whatever. i want to bottle that feeling and drink it like water, like my entire life depends on it. i think it does.

in january, i went on a handful of first dates with men and women. that's when i met E, and at first it was great. by march, when i got my first wisdom tooth extracted, i noticed her distance. but it was fleeting, only when she had guests from out of town, or when she went out of town, when work piled up, when life was happening, so i ignored it. by may, we were exclusive, which i largely orchestrated and i thought i'd feel better by then. i didn't. i flinched when my phone would buzz. i wanted to hear from her and also never hear from her. by july, i had everyone i love telling me to end things. so i did. baby's first initiated break up. it was a clean break. i felt good and strong and also foolish. i remember my hands shook the day after and i was so out of it, that i had a small accident.

i turned 31 this year, but i was 30 when this all happened and i hated it. i hated how small i felt, lonely, like i needed to ask for less. here were the things i asked for: to text me more than every 3 or 5 or 8 days. that was it. if you have to ask for that, it's probably not going to work anyway.

also in february, i got covid for the second time and got glass in my eye and had to go to the ER and then it was all okay. but that's how delicate the body is. i did a reading for valentine's day, my first of the year!

in march, i went home for amit's birthday. and also in march, i saw VIRAHA at the harvard bookstore. people were buying the books, what a joy!

in april, i wrote more and also not enough.

in may, my mom came to boston for mother's day and then i went to austin for a work trip. at this point, there was something wrong with my hearing and i got it resolved in October.

in june, i did my first in-person reading in YEARS at the cantab poetry lounge via the boston poetry slam. my mom was there and tanner was there and disha and annie and it was such an incredible feeling, i wish i could share it with you all. i felt so present and grateful for my life. to read my poems and have people listen with rapt attention. that's magic.

in july, yes that break up but also i went outside a lot and had long talks with the people i love.

in august, tanner and i went to utah and that was such a strange joy, to see that part of the country. right after, i went home to see my people who i hadn't seen since march. liz and vivian and max.

in september i turned 31, a magical day that i made possible that tanner attended without complaint. and then right after, the death of a friend's parent, i was back in new york. that was the last time i saw cory. i started therapy a few weeks later, for my OCD and depression and generalized anxiety.

in october, yes i saw yuan in SF and then i saw her again when i went home when cory died. and we all sat in the living room that was once his.

in november, my mom turned 69 and we had a great time celebrating despite all our grief. and then michael came over to build some ikea furniture, which i'm sharing here because it's so nice! who does that? we had thanksgiving and it felt both good and empty. when i came back to boston, tanner and i had to stay in a hotel because of carbon monoxide issues at our place. and then—

december, where i went to mexico with my team for our retreat and then i came home and the carbon monoxide was resolved. and tanner and i had some fun there, before we came down to new york for christmas with my family and he met vivian, liz, max. we did all the new york city things and it seemed to lighten everyone's spirits—which were down, because man this year! then he went back home and before i could join him, there was a mystery not covid, apparently the flu illness that took over my family. so now i'm writing this on the acela back to boston. i'll get in before 2023 bows out.

i have no idea who is still reading this, but if you are: thank you. if you're future me, hello from the past. i hope 2024 is full of joy, love, light, easy wins. less death, less aching, less pain. it feels like a good year, like the moment before something wonderful happens in a movie and everyone, even the characters on screen, is holding their breath—with hope

MY BABY SUMER MY LITTLE TROUBLE MAKER!! If you can't tell I love Summer a lot actually uwu I've really enjoyed making her so much so my little AU tmnt iteration im working on (where casey a tattoo artis and raph works in a flower shop?) I plan for Summer to be in that as well.

I never really intended to get so attached to her just like aw yeah give Raph and Casey a baby girl cause they are girl dad coded change my mind. But I have just honestly come to love my little hell riser uwu It's fun basically creating a ship I love so much into an OC XD in truth I love her so much I wanna fin ways to include her into other TMNT iterations but I’m so used to her being like a daughter to Raph and Casey I just can’t see her in that same role in other iterations. But maybe she can be a friend in those interactions? Like I feel she could easily be 87 Raph and Casey’ kid as well honestly I got thoughts on that XD

Mm maybe SF as well?

So a more friend role fit in that I would have to change iterations to iterations would be maybe 12? But I could see MM a bit more. XD Basically I just want excuses to through hr in more iterations I really grown to love this OC of mine.

✍ Favorite thing about writing the muse?

I've made it sort of her thing that she gets common phases or idioms wrong. And generally believes that's just how it is said.

'hold your horses' - 'get your horses in line'

'don't count your chickens before they hatch' - 'You're chickens gonna hatch'

Or similar sounding words like hypochondriac and hypocrite 'You are such a hypochondriac, take a look in the mirror at your self' XD some examples of how she just mixes them up it's a stupid little quirk I gave her

👀Favorite thing about the muse’s appearance?

I would say I like her general design over all XD When making her I wanted her to very much just feel like Summe. I gave her tan skin like Casey, Freckles on her face and sandy blond hair to be like the sandy beach. Since Summer = beach. Of course I always planned blue eyes so she would look like Casey I that way. But also ocean uwu and I felt the warm look would be funny with her loving Ice Hockey ad sort of lets her t and out compared to her Dad’s

I do have plans to show how it changes. But for the design I have atm as shown in this concept here I think I did pretty good at making a tomboyish girl born and raised in the 2000's. A jacket with patches the ripped jeans not bought but result of Summer's ways. And of course boots XD I like the little small touches I added the patches meaning to reap her family well also being gifts form them. A yin-yang symbol for Leo like the Christmas ornaments he hangs on the tree. A skateboard for Mikey, a beaker for Donnie. The Hamato clan symbol from Splinter. Her jacket is actually taken from a show I love and noticed one of there characters was wearing a New York Rangers. Which I just felt like would be something Casey would have owned (I need to finalize this design cause the jacket really should be much more baggy on her XD) She wears one of Raph's old masks around her arm. Her earrings in my mind are actually from April, I like to think her hair clips cam from Von A hockey stick and a turtle. And of course, her friendship bracelet from Ariel. XD Its kind of busy design and I don't often make my characters like this. But it fits for Summer seeing how dull her outfit scheme is yet have all these little things for the expression instead.

🌌Favorite alternate version of the muse?

I don't really have one for Summer at this point outside of the mentioning of Summer in the Cowboy Casey Au. I would say in this environment she's a true horse girl but the horse trains her over her training the wild horse herself XD I say her unruly energy is a bit better handled since there is a whole ass farm for her to run around at. Since Raph don't really need to be in hiding as much either Summer is able to do more family things with her Dad's.

💕Favorite ship for the muse?

XD I guess it would be Aspen and Summer the way i phase this doesn't sound good pfft but in that I haven't paired Summer with anyone else like ever? But I couldn't really say I see Aspen as the be all end all ship if that makes sense as well? Like of course Aspen who Summer will one day marry and have Cody with later on but I wouldn't say he's like carry over material for me XD In Cowboy Casey Au or my own Au ink and petals. Don't get me wrong I do like Aspen buuut hes very minor character XD he mostly exists to make Casey be ridiculous Dad who ain't a fan of his daughter being interested in boys. And for the Joke that Summer didn't even know her and Aspen were dating XD

He's kind of just a basic dude but thats like a good match for Summer as well who isn't your typical girl. She loves burgers and sports and she can be one of the guys. Aspen was her sort of rival at first so she hated him for a good while. so the trope of people who cant stand each other actually liking each other. Aspen the one to cave first and Summer finds it odd but soon accepts him as her friend.

Which Summer kind of needed, she dosen't really have someone she can really connect to. She loves Ariel but she always feels like Ariel keeps space up between them.

It hasn’t come up yet but the thing that sort of breaks the ice (pun intended) between Summer and Aspen is when Summer learns about Hun and Gabe’s being her biological parents. Aspens the person she sort of unloads onto about it all and she learns Aspen like her also is adopted. Dosen’t know his own bio parents but gets how she feels because he has never needed them either so learning they were bad people so to say? Yeah he understands her worries an fears about it all. And it’s what allows that first connection between them to form. He just understands where Summer is coming from on everything about it knowing that her feelings are not her ture thoughts just passing ones she feels guilty of at times.

He also is pretty chill about mutants first meeting Raph and well I’m sure you can imagine how that went I’m tell anyway cause I don’t think ill ever get a chance XD

We already know Casey ain’t a fan after learning of Aspen’s crush but they knew the kid beforehand since he and Summer play for the same journior team. Course Aspen notices when Casey starts glaring at him and such anytime he gets close to Summer. Only for Raph not covered up at all to drop down and grab Summer as if she’s in danger. Freaks Aspen out Summer has to sort it out and well Aspen kind of just accepts oh your pops Raph is a turtle cool XD

It’s another reason Summer does like Aspen he accepts her family as they are as well.

I do not have one XD only ship for Summer at this point in time is Aspen in main verse 03 closest you get is the fact that Savage has a crush on Summer for a bit? But I don’t see that as ship since it’s just a crush you know? So no disliked ships uwu

Mmm I think the best I can come up with Summer so good about stepping up to bat for anyone else, her Dad’s Ariel etc but she’s not too good about standing up for herself. I feel this changes when she finally meets Hun and basically words out she is A Jones. Her family history isn’t who she is she’s the shaped by the Family that found her. ;3;

😈Worst thing you’ve ever done to your muse?

Making her Hun’s daughter uwu

Mmm personally I would say having Summer fully believe that she came an egg that Raph laid and she kind of couldn’t not eat eggs ever since that it took a long time to convince her that wasn’t the truth but Summer was more upset she couldn’t eat eggs for like 3 years XD because she wanted to so like rocky and eat them raw so she could you know bulk up too XD

💡 What inspires you to write the muse?

Hmmm not much? Summer s in truth pretty easy for me to write she tends to be one of my go tos if I don’t have any real ideas thought up to write like any plot progression if I’m waiting on your end for something that I can wok off of XD right there with Rhodes nod Richard I guess she’s someone very easy for me to write she’s another fun one because she just this dumb lovable idiot who gets into trouble. I Leo just love writing her and Casey just giving him the daughter that loves and adores him so much that even just being the product of people that hurt him makes her feel guilty but she also never gives up on her Dad when he’s mourning over the loss of his mother. Just trying her best to keep things as they always been because she feels it will help her Dad well he’s going through it.

Hmmm it would have to be her ending up at Casey’s door just when Casey and Raph were hit with baby fever. After all thier hardships leading up to Summer I think it’s cute and nice they can both admit they want a domestic life together and that includes a kid thier own. Sometimes Raph wishes he could lay eggs cause maybe they could have a kid that way. Not only dose he want a family with Casey he wishes he could give that to Casey as well. And Casey always wanted a family himself being with Raph never made him feel that wasn’t possible. Just something they had to wait on ;3; and then Summer showed up and neither of them even had to ask once they realized She didn’t have a home they decided to be her home ;3;

I’m a sucker for these two having a nice cozy domestic life taking on the job of being the family to this little bundle that didn’t have one ;3;

📝 Favorite headcanon for your muse?

- Summer learned how to fight from Casey and Raph, she knew how to make a fist before she could walk.

- Summer used to try and mimick Raph’s turtle sounds as a baby/toddler she also would mimick the caveman grunts and growls Casey makes. So she kind of has an unspoken laguage system with her Dad’s. I feel Casey himself learns Raph’s turtle sounds over time himself too. So there’s time these three are legit just making noise to commutate case words are too hard.

- Summer never changes her last name and ends up getting her own Vet clinic where named “Doc Jones Pet Care”

- the waiting music for her clinic is ‘Dr.Jones’ XD

- she practiced the same sort of accent her Dad’s talk in so she would be more seen as their kid

- She learns first aid and even how to cook so to take care of her Dad’s

- Despite the fact that Cody is a thing, Summer is Aroace Romance and sex are not big matters to her and just cause someone is aromantic or asexual dosne’t mean they cant be in relationships.

XD she’s an OC so any cannon can’t really be ignored?

🔮 What do you see in your muse’s future?

Summer I feel learned first aid skills because of her Dad’s always getting hurt, but of course even with most her family being mutants they are animals so some things are a bit different from people. SO Summer ends up wanting to become a Vet, thanks to a connect through April she even gets a job at a vet clinic she helps out at after school and such. She mostly tends to any animals needs in the kennel left over night or such due to thier condition or needs. This is where she would take her pet rat cheddar when she finds them hurt. She’s the one who mostly cares for him and the Vet tells her its likely was a dumped pet which is why Summer takes them in. Without asking but who was going to tell her no? These two things are what put her on the path to seeking it out for her own path, she still loves Hockey course but she never wanted to be a pro or anything like that. She still watches it she often gets together with her Dad’s to watch it.

Man I have so many so far I like when Donnie gave her advice on the whole Aspen situation, I don’t often get many interactions of her with Donnie but I felt that was a really cute one. Her Dad’s lost thier minds, Ariel was being weird and Von was telling her things that really wasn’t the main focus at the time. Donnie is the uncle I feel she is closest too and despite how Summer is I feel she can relate to her uncle Donnie in many ways and he tends to offer a mindset she of course wouldn’t have herself. HE’s a much calmer person and I feel she has sort of taken that on as a trait herself. Not be clam cause she got a temper but she often isn’t as quick to fly off like her Dad’s are. Better put she sort of needed it to handle her insane Dad’s

mmm when Summer and Ariel are together in Ariel gottho I know thats like alot but all those talks are cute to me ;3; really just any of there interactions are cute and fun to me.

Summer and Casey like always XD but I say when Casey asked summer to add the red in his hair too. Because it's Summer displaying how shes trying to be there for him best way she is able to feeling powerless to do much ;3;

I also like writing her and Raphs scene where he was talking to her about Casey taking the death of his mom hard, theres just this softness that comes out when I write Raph with Summer that i enjoy a lot ;3;

😩 Hardest thing about writing the muse?

Nothing really like said before Summer is a very easy muse for me to write she’s a nice one to return to when my brain cant think of other ideas her high energy and just ya know being the daughter of what is my comfort ship welll she’s got a lot going for her and seeing how I keep thinking of other ways to use her? Sorry not sorry I love my disataer child

For Summer?Hmmm I would like to RP when she gets kidnapped by Hun, though I feel once he knows of her it’ll likely be a few runs in that happen but mostly this first one is what I am looking for.

Hmmm I don’t know if Summer and I really share things in common. Outside being animal lovers. Summer is big into sports and not much for school. It’s kind of a joke in my family that I’m the only one not into sports. Like don’t get me wrong I don’t hate them I just know nothing XD I don’t care hoe many times someone will explain something to me it will not sink in my head. Also I was a very proud nerd in my school dads. When I was a kid being a vet was like my dream job so we have that as well. I feel summer also just that kid that took to animals like if she wasn’t watching sports or cartoons she was watching animal planet.

A prehistoric save based in Oasis Springs - The Stone Age version! Twelve residential lots, nine community lots, six household included. CC is needed! Read more under the cut.

⚠⛔🚧 Please note that there is a NEW version of this save. Go to my blog to see the changes.

✅ What you get: A prehistoric save built in Oasis Springs. I've made nine community lots, twelve residential lots and six sim households. (You can see the overview here.) There is also a considerable amount of edited townies. However, since I didn't plan to upload when I remade them, I might have used CAS items (hairs and outfits) that is not on the CC list. (I am WCIF friendly by the way) If it looks bad, most of them can be deleted, but the game will probably spawn new ones with awful, modern outfits...

The worlds except Oasis Springs are empty, with the exception of a few specific lots. Some townies will move in on empty residential lots, and they will survive perfectly fine on love and fresh air, don't worry!

✅ Packs needed: Oasis Springs is BG, so in principle you don't need any other packs. However, I would say that you will need Outdoor Retreat, Island Living and Get Together as a minimum, since I've used items from those packs on almost every lot I've made. I've also used other packs, and if you don't have them, items from those packs will be removed or replaced with basegame itmes, and that might look strange. If you feel you need more info on this, you can find it in each lot's blog post. (Links overview here)

✅ CC used: I've included two folders with included items: CC for lots and CC for items. Some creators do not allow their creations to be included, so you have to do the download yourself. I've made lists (for lots and sims) with creations and download links.

✅ The save: I've given the save slot number 88. If you already have a save with that number, you will need to change the number to something else. If you are unfamiliar with how to do this, watch this video by Miss Mani.

✅ Mods: I recommended the Timeless - A world decluttering mod by @pandorasimbox, it reduses the amount of modern items in your worlds. I also use Ceiling replacer by @lunanelfeah-deactivated20220127, if you don't, the ceilings will be white. I'm also totally addicted to MC Command Center, a very useful mod, like making it easier to change townies' outfits, control NPC spawning and a lot of other clever functions.

💡 Just so you know, the lots and households will not show in your library, unless you save them there yourself, or download and install the trayfiles from my blog.

💡 Suggestion: It's a good idea to backup your game before you install any downloaded save, just in case something goes haywire. As with all mods and cc you always download and install at your own risk.

💡 Should you want a unpopulated version, just evict the six families in Oasis Springs and then go to the Manage households and delete everybody.

📌 The download file is big (165MB) - after all, it contains most of the CC for 21 lots and 6 families - and will take quite some time to download if you have a slow connection.

📌 There might be updates or changes in the future. You will find that info in the original blogpost.

Copy or move all .package files into your Mods folder

Put the .save file in your Save folder

Open your game

Happy New Year!

hello lovelies, here I present to you a very slight reason that I have been on a large hiatus: I made a save file!

this is a project that has taken me way too long, but I'm happy I can get it out right as I hit 100 followers!

currently only willow creek, all the details and download for the save and an update will be under the cut …

A Few Requirements:

this world is cc free!

you will need a computer that can run the sims somewhat decently, as this is very sim and item heavy, with lots of decor and such

not all packs are required, but these are the ones I own: Expansion Packs- I own all EP's except Get to Work Game Packs-Dream Home Decorator, Parenthood, Strangerville, and Jungle Adventure Stuff Packs-Bowling Night Stuff, Tiny Living Stuff, Paranormal Stuff, Laundry Day Stuff, Cool Kitchen Stuff

I made this using UI cheats extension but your world will function w/o it, I just recommend it generally

The Basics:

all of the willow creek lots are brand new — this means no renovations

there are THIRTY-TWO new townies and all existing townies have been given an updated wardrobe

there are also ELEVEN pets added to this save as well

the world starts in the Fall and with aging OFF

Some Specifics:

the very left lot in Crawdad Quarter is a combination of both a museum and library—since the lot is so big—it is functional as both, so simply go into world edit and change it between museum and library

I have also added a vet clinic and a pool to Willow Creek, to make it a little easier for your sims to visit those lots

there is one unowned house in every neighborhood and each increases in price point for your sims to move into

Magnolia park now has full accommodations for weddings, including an arch and full outfitting's for caterers and mixologists, as well as toddler potties and a "dog park"

The Fun Stuff:

there are a few name easter eggs that I've added that I hope you find funny

all the new households have their own stories and skills

there is also lore within some individual townie families—unfortunately however, once a household is removed from the favorited townies tab, all their relationships with townies outside of their household disappear—so no relationships between different townie households

How to Install

before installing, it is strongly recommended to back up your saves and tray folders incase anything were to happen

download the file and unzip the folder

take ONLY the slot inside of the folder and place it into your saves folder, here is a the location: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves

if there's a popup about a save with that name already existing, DO NOT replace it, that is a save of your own, you can simply change the number of the save in the name

open up your game and there should be a save called "The Shrimpy Save," click on it and run the save as normal

if you wish to play multiple separate saves and don't wish to redownload the save, simply click "Save as" in the options menu

Just other stuff:

if you are unable to download the world for whatever reason, the majority of the lots are for download on my gallery ShrimpPebbles, although none of the townies are—so if there is a lot you see from the map or a townie set you would like to download and don't see on my gallery, shoot me a message on here and I can upload the lot/household on the gallery at my soonest availability :)

update on the situation for this tumblr: I am currently six months out from graduating HS, so school and work has been busy this past semester and has limited how much I post and make, but I recently left my job at an unnamed big craft store and so I should have more time for hobbies and such, like this, so hopefully I can begin posting more <3

I have three sims for you today!

A few days ago I decided to give the Sim & Color Challenge a go, and I received three prompts: Silver from @wannabecatwriter, Mango from @wren-der, and Green from @nectar-cellar (thanks for the prompts! if anyone wants to send more, my inbox is open~).

As I’m terrible about creating original sims, I decided to base them on real people. I went with a more realistic approach in case I want to let them loose as townies eventually, hence why they use as little CC as possible. I opted to use the assigned color in ways that say “this sim likes this color” without it being overwhelming.

All downloads include a list of the CC the sims have been created with. The descriptions below are just for fun, as the sims don’t have any written Biographies. You can modify and use the sims however you like.

1. Silver: Patricia Cobweb

Patricia is a Teen sim who likes Fruit Parfait, Classical Music, and the color Gray. She is a Hopeless Romantic who takes great interest in the arts and Loves spending time Outdoors. She still doesn’t know what path to follow in life, which sometimes makes her feel like a Loser compared to her peers.

2. Mango: Enitan Wambold

Enitan is an Adult sim who likes Stu Surprise, Latin Music, and the color Orange. He is Athletic and a Natural at Cooking, which he enjoys so much that he wants to learn to cook as many recipes as possible. Enitan’s talents extend to keeping his house very Tidy and Fixing anything that breaks — which goes just fine with his Frugal nature.

3. Green: Facundo Garza

Facundo is a Young Adult sim who likes Hamburgers, more niche music, and the color Green. Musically-inclined since he was little, he dreams of making it big as a Rock Star. While he enjoys flirting with others, his relationships never seem to last too long. He’s also the first to try something new on a dare.

The AU Where Silicon Is So Sad He Sells Out, Big Time

Essentially, the gist of it is that he pulls off a classic face-heel turn on the VP, revealing that at some point, Kingdom paid him off to be a mole and steal info from the Protocol for him to bring back. He eventually moves his things out of the VP under the lie of transferring some things back to his flat in South SF, leaving an empty room and their 24th agent missing.

At some point, either through investigations, Kevin's own ego, or a confrontation with a dramatic reveal to Lady Gaga's Judas, Kevin is revealed as the new (interim) Chief Weapons Designer at KNG. Despite his... questionable choices when using some of the program's budget, his 'virtualization' tech is proving very useful to their weapons department.

Silicon only ever gets to a point that he would betray the protocol if he feels like an outsider or his jealousy/inferiority complex decides to show itself to him a little harder (maybe also as a result of feeling like he doesn't belong.

You could buy Sil pretty easy if he has no sentimental feelings about the people around him, and even easier if those feelings become negative.

Around the time when he is first paid off by KNG, he's still operating in the VP as normal, minus a couple file dupes and transfers onto a series of external drives.

Kevin also steals blueprints and information regarding things built by Raze, KJ, and of course, Chamber.

Speaking of Chamber he totally steals his teleport tech (also adjusts the aesthetics) and uses it in conjunction with his cloaking abilities to be a real sneeeeeky bahrstard.

He's had the idea for a new outfit on the back burner for a while, and now's the perfect time for him to use it.

His virtualization tech used for his ult is very useful to KNG- why have to make five guns for a contractor when you can have five virtual guns with more ammo and no reloads for the storage of one gun? Silicon suggested a subscription model for the 'rental' of the source weapons. Plus- nobody has to carry anything around if it's all virtual.

MMMM the salt potential of Silicon having Chamber's old job. Even if it's just temporary- it's FUN.

Silicon isn't necessarily a good corporate businessman- he's a conman (man loosely) and this has some problems especially for a corp like KNG. Some of his practices and suggestions are a little... not quite what they were looking for.

Giving Silicon a budget does make his weapons more quality, but giving him power makes his ego a little more inflated. Equivalent inflation for better or for worse.

A/N: Only like... three weeks late. my bad. But I figured if I was going o end one of my longest fanfics ever, it shouldn’t be on such a dull note, so I did some revamping!

~ ~ ~

Lydia had warned Spencer of the reaction he was going to get when he walked into the office that morning for a case. She knew the team pretty well, if she did say so herself. And she was totally right, but Spencer would never tell her that, nor would anyone get the chance, as the whole conversation was upstaged by a completely different topic.

Stepping into the conference room just a little bit late, JJ and Garcia saw Spencer in the door and stopped their briefing distractedly.

“Well, hello,” JJ teased, causing everyone to turn around and check out whatever had caught her off guard.

Spencer’s old (and in Lydia’s opinion, annoyingly long) hair was gone, being replaced by a shaggy and much shorter style.

He shot everyone a tight smile, sitting down quickly as if that might make them go back to the briefing, but everyone took another second to stare at his head and wonder if they missed something. I mean, why suddenly change your hairstyle if not due to some sort of emotional turmoil?

“What, did you join a boyband?” Hotch said, almost jokingly, but his voice was slightly too stern.

Morgan gave up his facade and let his chuckles loose, the rest of the team breaking out into smiles as well.

“No,” Spencer responded. “I was trying something out, since Lydia wants my hair short for the wedding.”

That shut them up fast.

“You popped the question?! Reid, man, you gotta tell us these things!” Morgan exclaimed, his eyes wide.

“We thought it’d be funny to follow our lying routine and wait a few weeks to mention it,” Reid replied with a shrug.

That’s when the rest of the team seemed to catch on, JJ especially freaking out over the news. “Weeks??!? Spencer, how could you? You got engaged and just failed to mention it?”

“Tell us everything!” Emily interrupted. “Did you get down on a knee?”

“Guys-” Hotch tried to get them on track, but it was no use.

“I can have her come in when we get back to show off the ring,” Spencer offered.

“How much did you spend on it?” Rossi asked, more out of curiosity than concern.

“Where will you guys have the wedding?” Garcia chimed in, rushing around the table to pull Spencer into a hug from behind his chair. “Here in DC? Or in a destination spot?”

“Team!” Hotch demanded. “We need to be briefed and get on the jet as soon as possible.”

Everyone was serious from then on. Or, at least, they were all holding their questions until the jet. None of them even noticed or heard Hotch lean over and whisper a quick “congratulations” to the genius, but it felt fitting for the unit chief to be the first of the team to say it.

“You aren’t allowed to take Spencer wedding dress shopping!” JJ teased as the four girls headed to their first stop of the day.

“Wait, you were planning on bringing Reid?” Penelope laughed, light filtering through her newly dyed, red hair.

“Well, I was, until Jayje told me it was forbidden or something,” Lydia replied, trying to keep up while also answering work emails on her phone. “I thought the whole ‘seeing the wedding dress before the wedding’ was just a dumb superstition.”

“Oh no, it is,” Emily assured her. “But it’s pretty damn funny that you think Reid would be any help in picking out clothes.”

Lydia shrugged. “I don’t know. I mean, it’s his wedding day, too. I think we should both have a say in what it looks like.”

“Not the dress,” Garcia insisted. “The dress is all you. Spencer has no choice but to love you in whatever you wear.”

“And he will,” Emily said. “He’s so far gone.”

“Well… we both are,” Lydia shrugged.

“Beck, I’ll be there in 6 hours,” Lydia insisted, leaning up against Spencer uncomfortably in the airport chairs. “You can panic about the dress and the flowers-”

“You should care more! I mean, you’re getting married in a week.”

Spencer raised his eyebrows, likely being able to hear his future sister-in-law on the other end. Lydia rolled her eyes in explanation. “Well, what did Sonia say about the dress?”

“She said she’ll just wear something from her closet.”

“Then let her,” Lydia sighed. “She can wear jeans if that’s what she’s comfortable in! You know, my coworker’s son is planning to come as Captain America. It’s not going to ruin the-”

“But she’s the mother of the bride! The mothers and fathers are always dressed up!”

“Remind me when you’re getting married that I don’t want to be your maid of honor,” Lydia joked. “I think I can easily go my whole life without planning another wedding.”

“Sonia said she didn’t count as mother of the bride,” Rebecca continued, ignoring her comment. “I told her that she was crazy-”

“Tell Sonia that she is definitely my mom for the day,” Lydia insisted. “And also tell her that as my mother, I give her free reign over the outfit.”

“I’m just pissed,” Beck hissed over the line. “That dress is sooner to fit little Katie than it is to fit her.”

Lydia nodded, shifting herself away from Spencer to lean forward, her elbows on her knees. “Yeah, um… What’s the situation with Dad, by the way?”

“He’s definitely coming,” Beck reassured her. “He’s super proud of you. But I think he’s a little upset that you don’t want him to walk you down the aisle.”

“I didn’t expect him to be happy,” Lydia admitted.

“I know… But I think he understands. And I know he won’t start anything on your big day. But he might want to talk to you when you land in California.”

Lydia huffed, only continuing when Spencer began rubbing light circles into her back. “Okay. Will he be with you to pick me up?”

“Nah. It’ll just be Sonia and I. Give Spencer a warning about Sonia’s hugs, by the way. She’s never actually seen him in person and she plans to suffocate him.”

“Duly noted. I’ll see you when I land?”

“Yep! Love you.”

“Love you, too.”

Setting her phone in her lap, Lydia went right back to her spot in her fiancé’s side.

“Dress and flowers?” Spencer asked.

“Sonia’s dress doesn’t fit,” Lydia shrugged. “Like, is tiny, doesn’t fit. And according to Beck, that’s a big deal. Then, the florist was asking about changing some of the flowers for the table settings and she flipped her shit-”

“No kidding,” Spencer agreed. “She was really set on a full green and white bouquet.”

“I’m so scared for her wedding.”

Spencer gave her a look. “Oh, come on. You have to realize that if this were her wedding, you’d be just like this.”

“What?” Lydia exclaimed.

“Rebecca would not care at all if this were her wedding and someone accidentally brought red roses instead of white,” he laughed. “She cares because it’s your wedding. And she loves you. So, the roses have to be white. No matter what it takes.”

“Well,” Lydia snapped, “I wouldn’t freak out on a poor florist just because of some misunderstanding-”

“But you would pay extra,” he argued. “And you’d pick them up from a warehouse in a different state. In fact, you’d probably go out and pick them yourself if that was the only option.”

Lydia opted to say, “I’m ignoring that comment.”

“Because you know I’m right,” he gloated.

“I hate profilers.”

He chuckled, pulling her closer into his side. “I know you do.”

“So, how’s your mom?” she asked, wanting to move away from the topic of her family. “Does she still have a ride to San Francisco?”

“Yes,” Spencer reassured her. “My dad will be driving her to California on Wednesday and then taking her back to the hospital Saturday morning. I’m not sure why he thought an eight hour drive with his ex-wife would be a good idea…”

“They’re in the same boat,” Lydia replied. “I know that it sounds… painful, but they are so excited to see you get married, they don’t mind the journey. And your dad knows that it wouldn’t be the same if your mom wasn’t there. He’ll make sure she gets there okay, for your sake.”

The two of them spent the rest of their time waiting patiently for the boarding call for their flight. Occasionally, one would lean over to the other to make guesses about why those around them were flying to SF or to comment on a kid’s cute suitcase, but they were mostly content to just sit in silence.

“How exhausted are you?” Emily whispered, before giving her friend a spin.

Lydia chuckled, as she came back around and rested her hands on the woman’s shoulders. “Very. But don’t get me wrong, I would give anything for this day not to end.”

“I’m happy for you,” she said. “I can’t imagine a more perfect duo.”

Across the room, Spencer was dancing with his mom. As he caught Lydia’s eye, his smile deepened and he gave her a wink.

“He was so serious when we first met, I don’t think I could have ever imagined falling for someone like that.”

“Excuse me, ladies.” Lydia and Emily slowed their sway to look at Hotch and a very cute Jack, who was, as promised, dressed like Captain America, at his feet. “Might we cut in and dance with Dr. Ambers?”

Emily nodded, waving goodbye to Jack before stepping off the dance floor.

Lydia and Hotch each grabbed one of the tiny superhero’s hands, before resting the other arm over each other, like they normally would if they were dancing.

“I’m so glad you two could make it,” Lydia told the Hotchner’s. “Have you ever been to California before, Jack?”

He shook his head, his cheeks swelling with a grin.

“How fun! Are you guys going to see more of San Francisco before you leave tomorrow?”

“That’s the plan,” Hotch answered. “Hey, buddy, you wanna tell Dr. Ambers what you said to me about her dress?”

Lydia raised an eyebrow at the blond boy, who was beginning to blush. “It’s pretty.”

“Thank you, Jack! I think it’s really pretty, too.”

“Alright Jack, dad’s gonna talk to Dr. Ambers, so why don’t you sit with Ms. Garcia again.”

“Okay,” the boy said and let go of their hands. “Bye!”

“Good talk or bad talk?” Lydia asked once the boy was gone.

“Good,” he assured her. “I just haven’t gotten the chance to congratulate you in person. And you’ve already had a dance with Morgan, Garcia, and Prentiss, so I was feeling a bit jealous. So was Jack. He was asking about his turn to dance with you. I guess dancing with his dad isn’t as fun.”

“He’ll grow out of it,” Lydia promised. “But I happen to know you well enough to know that you’re lying to me, Hotch.”

“Lying?” His face was calm, as though he already knew what she was implying, but asked out of courtesy.

“You did not send your son away so that you could congratulate me privately. You still haven’t told me why you wanted to talk.”

“An honorary profiler, through and through. Brilliant since the day we met.”

Lydia froze in her swaying movement. “Excessive complementing is not your style, Hotch. Is the Bureau firing me?”

This made him stop as well, his eyebrows knitting together. “And just when I was saying you were brilliant. No, the Bureau has nothing against your marriage. If that were the case, I would have warned you before the wedding.”

“I had thought that, too,” Lydia admitted. “But I was never sure if you or Garcia told the Bureau. Spencer says that when he reminded Garcia to put it on my record, she was acting strange.”

“I was unaware of that,” Hotch chuckled. “I shall have to check with Garcia myself.”

“So, if I’m not being fired, what is it?”

“I have somewhat of a favor to ask.”

“And that is?”

“With JJ’s promotion to the DoD, there’s a vacant spot on the team. Garcia is attempting to take on the responsibility of both a technical analyst and a liaison.”

Lydia couldn’t stop herself from laughing. “Are you asking me to leave my job at the university to become the liaison at the BAU? I have tenure, Hotch. Not to mention, no experience in public relations. I can understand that Garcia needs help, but I am-”

“I understand, but that’s not exactly where I was going with this. Garcia and I have already discussed splitting the role. The issue is that in order to take on the job of a media liaison, I won’t have much time at all to do field work. JJ had her credentials to work as a profiler, and yet she still rarely did crime scene investigations or actual profile building because she was needed elsewhere.”

“So, you need... a profiler?” Lydia stammered.

“We can discuss profiling later,” he assured her. “What I need is Dr. Ambers back. Full time. And this includes the office work again. Next time I call a briefing I need you to be in the bullpen, not at a university.”

Lydia involuntarily glanced at her new husband, who had made his way off the dance floor and was seated with Morgan. “Hotch, we were just discussing how the Bureau might not even know Spencer and I are married. Do you honestly think they’d be okay with making me an employee given my background?”

“I would like to remind you that I was a lawyer for a long time,” he joked. “I can hold an argument. But even so, your background just proves how irreplaceable you are, Lydia. No one could turn you away. But you’re right. I can’t offer tenure to you.”

A grin broke out across her face. “When do you need your answer?”

“One week.”

She nodded and stepped away. “Thank you for the dance, Hotch. I will consider your offer.”

“Thank you, Lydia.”

~ ~ ~

“I didn’t think it was possible to dance with every person at your wedding,” Sonia teased as she sat with Lydia outside the empty venue.

“I wish I had danced with everyone,” the bride argued. “It would excuse my exhaustion.”

“It’s a miracle you aren’t dead.”

“I can see it now: Danced to Death on Her Wedding Night.”

“What’s going on now?” Spencer asked as he stepped out beside them. “My parents just left. The only ones left are Beck, Katie, and Adam.”

“And they’re waiting on me,” Sonia reasoned. “Best be going.”

She pulled both of them into a tight hug before wandering back towards the front of the location.

“Do you need help standing up?” Spencer asked, seeing Lydia sway with exhaustion.

“Must I?”

He offered a hand to her, pulling her into him, despite his own aching feet. “Yes, you must. But think of it this way. The sooner we get going, the sooner you can pass out at the hotel.

She hummed in response. “...oh, there was something I’ve been meaning to ask you.”

“Which is?”

“What do you think of me being a profiler?” she mumbled.

“A-Are you serious?”

Lydia looked up, afraid of what she might see, but Spencer’s eyes betrayed no distress. “I don’t think many girls can say they were offered a full time position at the FBI at their wedding. Would you help me pass the classes?”

“Absolutely,” he responded, with no hesitation. “Of course.”

“Working together once more. What could go wrong?”
