Lost and Found

Chapter One - Stardust

“They say,” Four began, his voice soft and dreamy “that the light from the stars is actually millions of years old. That it takes so long for it to get to us that we’re looking at something from the past. Maybe even at something that’s no longer there. That if you were able to see far enough away, you’d be able to see the beginning of time, only reaching us here and now.”

Someone hummed in interest, but no one spoke to ruin the silence of the night. They were lying out on a hillside in an era in-between, the cloudless sky overhead twinkling with a million brilliant stars. Wherever they were, it was miles from any kind of settlement or civilisation, and their view was unparalleled, the wide arc of the sky glimmering above them like diamonds.

“I always loved looking at the stars.” Time’s deep voice rumbled out, low and relaxed. “Always seemed that wherever I ended up, no matter how foreign the world, the stars were always more or less the same.”

Wild hummed. “In my world,” he said, his voice rough as ever and creaking as he spoke. Low tones were harder for him, but he spoke quietly all the same. Something about the view they were all beholden to was so incredible that it seemed almost sacred, and the idea of disturbing that with something as common as noise felt like a blasphemy. “If you climb to the tip of Hebra Peak in the far north, lights dance between the stars. Like… like rivers of colour. Flora and I like to climb up and watch them. She says they're made by storms on the surface of the sun interacting with our world, which sounds insane. I just love to watch them. We like to set up camp at the peak of the mountain and then just watch them all night.”

His brothers hummed again and beside him, Twilight squeezed his hand, unable to sign in the darkness but wanting to show his appreciation.

Hello Gina! Thank you for providing a save space on tumblr right now. My heart is so broken and I keep bursting into tears. I am bad at coping with everything happening today and so I do the only thing I know that will distract me: Read some comfort fanfics. I am currently searching for one were Alpha Louis has his family over at his for his birthday and then Omega Harry comes over. They haven't seen each other in years and Harry starts nesting in Louis closet and Louis sends his family away and Harry tells Louis he did not want to nest at home, because it did not feel right(safe) with his current roommate. It was a very short fic. I searched different key words on ao3 but can't find it. Help, please?

Hmmmm. I haven’t read that one. I remember @lululawrence has written a nesting fic or two. Maybe it’s theirs? Or they know of it?
