So. Apparently halfas are like phoenixes or something, which Danny would’ve really liked to know. 

See, usually with ghosts if they’re forced to retreat to their cores they reform as was, but apparently, since they’re still partially living, schrodinger's people and all that, halfas have to regrow their body from scratch. At least that’s what he’s understanding from Frostbite. 

But how come he has to deal with it? It’s Dan’s fault for trying to pull such a stunt! Oh, it’s either him or Vlad? Well fuck, he might have calmed down and is going to therapy in both the living realm and the Zone, but he’s waaay not equipped to raise a child except for like, monetarily wise. 

Well dammit, how long will this core incubation thing last, he has his new job in… let him check which offer he accepted again… He has his new job in Coast City that he needs to finish packing for and then all the rest of the stuff to do. 

What do you mean it’ll take months?! He doesn’t have months?! Urgh, fine. At least being a mortician isn’t that exciting, nor dangerous. Just hand him Dan’s core and he’ll figure things out for the living side of things. He’s sure Tucker and Sam wouldn’t be against helping, if only to try and claim favorite aunt or uncle spots.

On one hand its pretty understandable that Rayla is ghosted, even before she discovered Zym’s egg, she gave away the assassin’s presence by sparing Marcos. From this perspective she has committed a wrong by: revealing their presence (and guaranteeing their deaths), and fully showing her inability to take a life (literally her main job).

This imagery is so strong and so sad because despite what they were going to do (you know …….killing a child) theres something to be said about your betrayal and reluctance ending in the deaths of four separate people in your village. Each of them with a family and possibly their own respective Ethari waiting for them at the Silvergrove. And to have them all placed before you staring at you silently in their absence?

If theres anything these past seasons have taught us, it’s that Moonshadow elves value duties, promises and oaths over anything….even their own children and soulmates, so it stands to reason that what Rayla has done is considered especially reprehensible.

Now on the other hand….Rayla’s actions have saved the Dragon Prince, which if we’re being honest would not have occurred if she gave the egg to Runaan, who was immediately captured after Harrow’s assassination and was barely able to shoot an arrow (let alone carrying the egg ALLLLLLL the way back to the Storm Spire). Because of her actions, she bridged the way for peace between the Human and Elven kingdoms by providing some kind of recompense for past misdeeds. This isn’t even getting into the fact Rayla was a literal child when her adoptive father decided to send her on a mission to murder a monarch and 10 year old when presumably there were more than 6 assassins in their entire village.

The trial to be unghosted however will likely hinge on how Moonshadow culture and ethics view Rayla’s actions. Will a society that values conformity, oaths and roles be willing to forgive someone who has forsaken all of this by forging her path (forsaking her oaths) and falling in love with a human?

And what is the secret the Keeper holds? Is it relevant to what happened that night at the castle?

(Basically I have a hard time thinking the Silvergrove will unghost Rayla but also its a kid’s show so will they really allow a protagonist to be socially exiled for the remainder of her life for saving a baby’s life…idk…)

Thoughts on possible planet oc designs and attractions!!

Neptune: beautiful, beloved and very blue. One of my favorite planets to gaze at longingly. They would obviously be very blue, and very large. I think they’d be a female, or at least feminine presenting, as all of my research says that Neptune is a girl?? Not sure how they figured that out, but I’m not gonna question the planet on it’s gender…

I think Neptune’s attraction would be a winter wonderland filled with snow and serene ice lakes. There’s no seasons in space, and not many people can even remember what living on earth was like, so the idea of ‘winter’ would be the whole gimmick.

There’s shops themed like cozy cabins that sell things like winter animal trinkets, like penguins and polar bears. Along with various Zaff Co items, like Neptune merch and food items.

There’s igloos scattered about that host activities for kids and adults alike, like renting out sleds, giving lessons on various snow related sports, a designated area for snowball wars, a how-to class on how to build a snowman into your favorite Zaff character, a Christmas ornament making class— ect.

It’s a massive area with snowy hills and a man-made mountain that has a “small” lodge that patrons can rent out for a select time. There’s even a hot spring that people can visit and enjoy to fight off the chill.

The occasional manufactured ice storm can roll around, a spectacle many people will pay extra to witness. Even more so with the rare and elusive aurora borealis.

Neptune’s design would be, obviously, blue. I think I would give them red eyes, as a nod to the color of Neptunes rings, but I’m not sure yet.

Neptune is cool to the touch, but her core is extremely hot. Vents along her body and in her palms expel heat that can reach temperature’s high enough to boil water within a few moments. She only uses it at such a high intensity for things like heating rooms for customers or adjusting hot spring temperatures.

Not to worry though, as she is more then capable of controlling the intensity of her heat for more delicate situations, like warming little hands and faces. She uses the vents on her palms to expel very low level heat, making it completely harmless and functioning as a lovely heater.

I think her personality would be quite calm. Serene, like a snowy night. She’s a favorite amongst the shyer kids, and can often be found with a gaggle of three or four hidden within the cave behind the frozen waterfall. Telling stories and casting holograms of long extinct earth animals on the cavern walls.

Bonnie sometimes hosts the snowboarding and skiing lessons, he visits often to enjoy the snow and chill, unaffected thanks to his thick fur. Neptune enjoys his company, and can quite reliably find him asleep buried in the snow during closing hours.

As another nod to the actual planet, Neptune sometimes gets a bug that turns one of her eyes a dark blue.

Next planets: Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Uranus, Earth, Pluto.

Stayed up until 3 am last night despite having work this morning reading a fanfiction that was everything I ever could have wanted. It was an AU where everything I wanted to happen did happen and it was amazing and wonderful and I got caught sobbing like 2 times. Actually inspired me to get over my fear of the AO3 ‘invitation’ to make an account and I will be actively kudoing and bookmarking like crazy once this happens

For some reason I find at least the concept of Megatron turning into a truck, like he does in Dark of the Moon, incredibly fascinating

Granted, I haven’t seen movies 2 or 3 in a long time, so I don’t have the actual context as to why he’s a truck in that movie. I just know that he is one, and I think he’s a semi too

It’s mostly just for the fact that not only is it an Earth alt mode, which in some incarnations (I think including the Bay movies) he despises the thought of and sticks to his Cybertronian alt, or him having an Earth alt is significant because of that, but also because semi trucks are Optimus’ alt mode. It’s literally his most hated enemy’s vehicle form and he now takes it as well

And maybe in some incarnations you could make a case of it being mocking, like I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why Age of Extinction Galvatron has it considering he could be anything, but I don’t think that’s the case in Dark of the Moon. From what I understand, the Decepticons at the beginning of that movie are not doing all that great

I don’t really know how to explain what specifically has me so interested in this idea, and I have no clue if the movie itself has this same idea that’s in my head (though I’m willing to bet the answer’s no), but it just does, specifically because it’s Optimus’ alt
