so many tears were shed during the making of this card for my little sister it was the most healing project I had done ever and it was worth it because after gifting it to her she started to cry and said this was the most thoughtful thing that someone has ever done for her and I’m so happy I can show her that because she’s the most precious person to me and it was just healing my inner child because I always wished I had an older sister growing up and now I get to be that big sister for someone else and also still to myself I would forever wish to have someone older and wiser than me I even made up this other person in my head who was an adult and would talk me though things so I was not alone maybe it was an guardian angel I wonder where she went if she is not within me but I’m just glad I can show my sister that it’s okay to be herself unpolitically and I’m here to protect and nurture that precious nature that we all have I hope I can return to that soft sensitive state of love

after completing this project it gave a whole new meaning that is not just related to heart break and loss but just being able to feel the layers and deeper understanding of myself slowly peeling away maybe getting closer to “the river” <3
