Did you ever figure out what design of Azzhai you liked better? Also not to make you pick between your kids or anything what OC do you connect to most?

Although I like how cunning/sophisticated the long-haired option for Azzhai looked, I’ve leaned more into the first option with the bangs/more hair ornamentation. I’m digging that one just because it’s more distinct/different from the hairstyles of my other characters, where the long-haired version feels more typical of me. 

That’s a tough question! I think all of my characters have certain aspects of myself in them, but none of them are largely like me. I tend to like to make characters that are a little more one-dimensional (or I guess better put, largely favor a single emotion or motivation) over more fully realized characters. I’ve always preferred writing/rping characters that feel more like side characters or foils rather than someone who’s protagonist material. 

Of all of my characters, I feel like I probably connect most to Kuraka Sheartusk. 

Excluding the main characters of my hiatus-riddled comic, “Sunpiercer”, Kuraka is my oldest character that is still around and active. She’s the character of mine that has changed and grown the most within her story. I think it’s also fun to write a character that is so defined by depression, something that strikes close to home for me.
