while we're talking about north korean defector industry being part of the [western - including south korean] media agenda to smear, vilify, and discredit the DPRK,, (particularly how specific defectors seriously make serious bank from selling these lies through books and media appearances, although, this is quite the exception and not the norm)
consider Operation Yellowbird. a short background:
Operation Yellowbird was a collaborative effort between British HK, MI6, CIA and other actors to smuggle persons wanted for their dissident actions during the 1989 protests in Beijing.
known CIA regime change agents were spotted (and reported by western media sources!) in the area during the protests in Beijing, on and near Tiananmen Square in summer of 1989.
for those of you who still believe in the "Tiananmen Massacre" narrative, and are skeptical about official Chinese accounts, here is a reading list, including accounts and news articles from western journalists who were there on the ground, about what actually happened. available here (hint there was no mass killing of civilians)
These evacuated "dissidents" were quickly admitted to Ivy league and other high-prestige academic institutions in the west, some even awarded honorary degrees. Some of the most prominent people relocated by Operation Yellowbird are now business and tech execs, venture capitalists/financial managers, NGO founders living comfortable lives in the west.
Their exaggerated (and inconsistent) recollections of the protests that ended with June 4th, recounted to western media years later while living in the west, has built up the myth of a massacre of civilians by an "authoritarian and totalitarian" Chinese government. They're still making documentaries and media appearances and testifying to US Congress. The mischaracterization of the events in summer 1989 that feeds into sinophobic narratives about Chinese people and the Chinese government are built on hyperbolic recollections and outright lies, and ritualistic recounting every year by these people keeps this narrative afloat in the minds of westerners. Concern for "human rights violations," especially when exaggerated or even built on towers of lies, are a common sympathy-garnering tactic for manufacturing thirst and support for "intervention" (read: war) by portraying “enemies” as monsters, and also works to muddy the waters about actual human rights violations regularly committed by the United States, both foreign and domestic.
Yeah we should absolutely dunk on the Yeonmi Parks. But we should also very much also dunk on "What we are looking anticipating is bloodshed, and only when the square is filled with rivers of blood will Chinese unite, but how could I tell my followers that I need them to sacrifice their lives [for "our" cause]?... But I cannot continue on in square, I'm different from them, I'm on a blacklist, I don't want to die." Chai Ling

Help Me Choose My Next Book
More information about each choice under the read more
Stonewall- Martin Duberman (Nonfiction, 349pgs): A history of the Stonewall riots. I bought this book in like... summer 2021? I keep meaning to read it, but also I am very worried about geting emotional while reading it. I love queer history but it makes me weep.
Anthology of Emo, Vol 2 - Edited by Tom Mullen (Nonfiction, 361): A collection of interviews from the Washed Up Emo podcast. Includes interviews with some of the guys from Jimmy Eat World, Saves the Day, Braid, Piebald, etc. Of note, I don't think I've listened to any of the episodes that are transcribed here. I got this as a birthday gift in 2021 from my partner. Only haven't read it because the book is a weird shape. Tempted to read this one since I see Braid in a couple of weeks.
The Order of Time- Carlo Rovelli (Nonfiction, 212): This was an impulse purchase in the fall of 2022. It's a pop science book about time. Not entirely sure why I bought it, but I think I might have just read a different pop sci book about physics and I wanted to recapture that vibe.
Where it All Went Wrong- Dan Ozzi (Nonfiction Zine, 84): I bought this in April of this year. It's a zine from one of my favorite music writers right now discussing the albums that shaped him. His full length Sellout is one of the best books I've read in the last couple of years. If picked, I could read it all in one sitting.
Eliot Ness and the Mad Butcher- Max Allan Collins & A. Brad Schwartz (Nonfiction, 400): This was a birthday gift from my dad in I think 2020. The only thing that's prevented me from reading this in the past is that it's a thick hardback that looks like it might be pretty dense.
Underground- Haruki Murakami (Nonfiction, 364): This is my most recent purchase from May of this year. It's one of Murakami's non-fiction books. I bought it for a number of reasons- I'm interested in the Tokyo Gas Attack, I like the writing of Murakami, and I wanted to read some of Murakami's nonfiction. I'm particularly interested in this book but worried about reading it first since its my newest purchase.
IQ840 Haruki Murakami (Fiction, 928): I always forget I own this book since I have the digital copy. I quite like digital reading so that isn't a problem, but you know what they say. Out of sight, out of mind. I've read about the first 150 or so pages of the book and I really enjoyed it. I don't know why I stopped, but I put it down a couple of years ago and never picked it back up. I know Murakami has his fair share of critics, and I can't argue with anything they say, but I like his stuff and I've read a few of his books. Fiction isn't really my normal wheelhouse, but I make a big exception for him.

Messiah 2030, Prophetic Messianic Time Line, A MUST SEE !
https://rumble.com/v2sw48q-messiah-2030.html
An INCREDIBLE Set of Time Lines of Jesus Returning in 2030.
AreWeLivingInTheLastDays
Yes, I think that is the case they are making. My 2 cents is that, the first seal is the antichrist. We see that is broken with us in Heaven (after Rev 4) and we also know that he can’t come into his place as world dictator until after the rapture because the Holy Spirit who is in us is restraining that. We Also know that tribulation starts at the signing of the treaty between him and Israel. So the first seal has to be broken after the rapture (which is the start of judgement) but before tribulation starts. I obviously do not know if this is the case or not but I do think the rapture could be over this feast of trumpets and then the first seal is broken and tribulation starting in 2024. Not setting a date or claiming some divine knowledge, I just think there is a high probability of that.

Controversial opinion among Dune book fans maybe, but I loved the changes they made to Chani's character. Making her a fedaykin who is already an experienced fighter before Paul arrives was a brilliant choice. Dune Part Two is a war movie, and this puts her at the center of the action, side by side with Paul, and gives her a much more active role than she has in the book.
We got a hint of where things were going in the beginning of Dune Part One. The first thing we ever know about movie Chani is that she's a fighter. She serves as a voice for the Fremen, telling us the story of their struggle from her point of view. I wrote here about the difference this change makes compared to other adaptations of Dune, what a perspective shift it is to have the world of Arrakis introduced not by an outsider, describing it as a dangerous but valuable colonial prize, but by one of its native inhabitants, who tells us before all else that it's beautiful, her home that she's fighting to liberate. I am so, so glad that the second movie followed up on this characterization.
I never found Chani and Paul's love story in the book particularly convincing, because why would this woman, who already has a prominent and respected place in Fremen society, even give the time of day to her deposed would-be colonizer, let alone fall in love and have children with him? Without a compelling reason for Chani to love Paul, she ends up feeling like a prize to be won, and "indigenous culture personified as a woman to be wooed (or conquered) by the colonizing man" is a trope we've seen and don't need to repeat.
But as soon as you tell me it's a barricade romance I get it. Cool cool cool, I know exactly what this relationship is now and it makes sense. Movie Chani doesn't respect or even particularly like Paul when she first meets him, and she doesn't think he's the fulfillment of any prophecy. She comes to respect him, and eventually love him, through his actions. He's brave--sometimes recklessly so. He fights well. He's willing to stick his neck out on the front lines with the other Fremen fighters. He can (after a little help) hack surviving in the harsh desert environment. He's not too proud to learn from others. He seems to genuinely want to be her equal in a common political struggle. All these qualities make sense as things she values.
Fighting side by side as equals is just about the only way I can see movie Chani falling for Paul. And it fits perfectly with the film's pattern of reversals that Paul's capacity for violence would initially be one of the things Chani likes about him, only for her to be repelled later when she sees what he becomes.
And as for Paul, well, he's had people deferring to him his entire life. Someone who doesn't take any shit from him is probably refreshing. He seems to like people (Duncan, Gurney) who challenge him and engage in a little friendly teasing--and aren't afraid to go a few rounds in the sparring ring.
It's easy to speedrun a romance when you're spending all your time together in mortal danger fighting for a shared political cause. Especially if you then start winning in a war your people have been fighting for decades. Are you kidding me? That is the perfect environment for intense battle camaraderie to turn into romantic love, and lust.
It makes sense that this version of Chani never believes Paul is any kind of messiah. Of course a character like movie Chani wouldn't believe in or trust some outside savior to liberate them. She's been working to liberate her own people for years. The more Paul invokes the messianic myth, the more he starts sounding once again like someone who plans to rule over them, and the more uncomfortable Chani becomes. In this way she becomes a foil to Jessica, the two of them representing the choices Paul is pulled between. It's a great way of externalizing the political and philosophical debates that often happen within characters' heads in the book.
And of course this version of Chani would leave Paul at the end of the film. It's not just the personal, emotional betrayal--although that stings. What common cause does she have with someone who just declared himself emperor and is sending her own people off in a war of conquest against others? Given the important role she plays in Dune Messiah, I am super curious to see how they get her back into the story, but girl was so valid for being willing to just gtfo. Given that she has the last shot of the whole movie, I'm sure she'll be back somehow, and I can't wait to see what they do with her character in any future installments.

Satoru Gojo ꕥ Mating Press
Satoru just loves it when you’re splayed out beneath him, legs hooked over his shoulders as he fucks into you; praising you on how good you’re being for him, how pretty you look, how perfect you are.
“S…So deep, Toru,” You whimper, eyes lidded and mouth agape. The position allows him to fuck you deep enough that you can almost feel him in your tummy, kissing your cervix with every buck of his hips. His strokes are calculated and slow, his cock gliding easily against your walls only to be pulled back out again at an agonisingly unhurried pace.
“Getting so wet for me baby,” Satoru hums, fixated on the way your features twist at his movements. His hands are on either side of your face, fingers tangled in your hair to keep you glued in place. Gojo wants your gaze is fixed on him, clicking his tongue when your eyes close in pleasure, “Nuh uh, eyes on me, you know the rules.”
He gives you a light, playful slap to your cheek to bring you back to earth, a pretty smile gracing his lips when your eyes open again. Gojo tells you how much of a good girl you are for him, rewarding your obedience with an expertly pleasurable roll of his hips that hits your sweet spot just right.
Satoru’s hair falls into his face, those cerulean eyes glowing through the strands. He’s truly Godlike, your messiah, powerful and an image of pure sex; his handsome features twisted in pleasure. He lets out a sultry groan when you tighten around him, tongue flitting over his lips as his pace picks up slightly.
“Gonna fill you up, ‘kay baby? You can take it, right?” He coos, pouting down at you with a patronising shift of his expression before that chilling grin returns to his lips, “Of course you can - you’d do anything for me, wouldn’t ya baby?”
Tumblr media
Toji Fushiguro ꕥ Doggystyle
Toji’s an ass man through and through, revelling in the sight of your behind bouncing against him with each of his thrusts. His grip on your hips is like a vice, pulling you back to meet each of his relentless movements.
“Y’ take me so well, Doll,” He groans, the bass of his voice reverberating through your chest. The sounds coming from the two of you are downright sinful; his grunts, your whines and the unmistakable noise of skin against skin.
“Fuck…Whose pussy is this?” Toji growls, practically snarling when you mutter a weak ‘yours’. His hand fists your hair, pulling you up at a slightly uncomfortable angle and turning your head to him. The sight you’re met with is one to behold; his eyes are carnal, sweat beading on his forehead and jaw tense. Some would mistake the look in his eyes as fury, but not you, you knew that look all too well. This was pure, unadulterated lust.
“I asked you a question,” Toji begins, his hips coming to a halt while he winds the strands of hair around his first once more. Bringing his lips to your ear, he places a soft kiss below it before clearing his throat, “Who-“ He thrusts into you impossibly hard, making your eyes water, “Owns-This-Fucking-Pussy?” Each word is followed by another inhuman buck of his hips before he pummels you fast and unforgiving.
You cry out, the pleasure almost too much. He’s hitting your sweet spot with every movement, sending you cascading into both heaven and hell; he tended to have that effect, a perfect mixture of good and bad. “Yours! Yours Toji, it’s all yours, I-I’m all yours”
Letting go of your hair, he allows you to fall onto the bed. You feel his lips at the top of your spine, a loving action despite the ruthless way he uses your body, “That’s right baby, and this cock’s all yours.”
Tumblr media
Kento Nanami ꕥ Missionary
Call him vanilla, but Nanami fucking loves having you in missionary.
It’s the perfect view for him; your pretty face twisted in pleasure, the way your tits bounce with each of his thrusts, watching as his cock sinks into your heat over and over. He likes to take his time in all aspects of his life and fucking you is no exception.
Kento knows every inch of your body even better than you do, knows exactly what makes you tick, exactly how to have you moaning his name in bliss. His hips work expertly against you, speeding up gradually before slowing when it all gets too much for you, dragging the thick veins of his cock along your walls leisurely and groaning when you tighten around him.
“Feel good, love?” He’s always so attentive, craving nothing more than your pleasure, more so than he is own. Not to say it doesn’t feel good for him, it feels fucking magnificent, but it feels all the more enjoyable when he knows you’re losing your mind as a result of his dick.
“I want you to cum, can you do that for me angel?” His breaths are staggered despite his composed tone, pulling his lower lip between his teeth and closing his eyes for just a moment before continuing, “I’ll count you down, okay?”
Kento brings a hand to his mouth, sucking briefly on a finger and looking you directly in the eye, before it snakes down to your clit. He rubs small circles onto the bud, making your eyes roll and back arch.
“Ten…Nine…Eight.”
The muscles in his chest and stomach flex with his movements, an image of perfection above you while he coos you gradually to your peak. You can’t help but trail your fingers down his abs; he’s the maestro of your pleasure, the root of all of your desires, the love of your life.
“Seven…Six…Five…”
His pace picks up slightly, emitting an obscene sound because of how wet you are. If you wasn’t so lost in the feeling of his cock, you’d maybe be embarrassed. A low, sexy groan ripples through his chest, sucking air through his teeth as he fights to keep his cool and calm composure.
“Four…Thr-oh fuck- Three…Two…”
The pressure he’s applying to your clit increases, the circles he’s rubbing become more of a vibration and you see white. You hear him gasp, his hips stuttering and body tensing before he manages to utter out a strained,
“One.”
Tumblr media
Choso Kamo ꕥ Cowgirl
No surprise here, Choso absolutely loses it when you take control.
“You look so pretty Cho,” you murmur, revelling in the way his cheeks flush furiously at the compliment. He whines, hips bucking a little as you bounce yourself up and down on his length. His hands fist the sheets, throwing back his head so the apple in his throat pierces against the skin.
“T-Thank you,” Choso manages to utter, his gaze once again returning to yours with heavy lids. His eyes are glossy, lips plump and swollen, hair array amongst the covers while you ride him just how he likes it.
Slow and smooth, the soft slaps of skin caused by the rhythm of your hips is his favourite symphony; he could watch you all day, looking up at you with a look of pure adoration on his handsome features. “You’re p-perfect,” He moans, a pitch to his tone so high that his voice is unrecognisable, “Love you- mmph - Love you so much.”
“Love you too baby,” You purr seductively, your hands moving to rest on his chiseled chest. Choso gasps at the feeling, back arching upwards and his cock twitching inside of you; he’s already came once, an agonisingly pleasurable orgasm and he’s still begging for me.
“P-Please don’t stop- ah - don’t want you to stop, don’t want you to ever stop,” He’s almost sobbing, sensitive and overstimulated but still so, so needy for you. His words are slurred, mouth agape and the most wanton look on his face.
“Can I go faster Cho?” You ask softly, snaking a hand up to his cheek and caressing his sharp features softly, “Wanna cum on your cock.” Whimpering, he stutters out a response quickly like the subservient lover he is, nodding his head desperately….pleadingly, “Anything y-you want, anything for you, p-please.” Choso grips the sheets impossibly harder as if to prepare himself for the change of your pace, breaths coming out quick and sharp.
Bouncing on his cock much faster than before, you watch as his eyes roll back and his mouth opens in a silent scream before a stream of whimpers and moans leave those pretty lips of his. He’s a mess beneath you now, shuddering and spluttering, his dark purple irises practically crossing lewdly.
“Such a good boy Cho.”
That sends him over the edge unexpectedly, whining like a whore at the praise. Goosebumps cover his entire body as he takes a shaky intake of breath, “Ah-ah shit sorry baby, gonna cum, ‘m gonna cum again.” He sobs, a tear rolling down his cheek as his hips shake beneath you, cock throbbing as he releases his load in you for the second time that night, but definitely not the last.

It's amazing to me just how good the Mormon church has been at hiding just how bad they really are from public view. Even the shit that gets spread around is the relatively harmless bullshit. They had a crazy prophet with magic glasses. They believe in god-mandated polygyny. They think everyone who is good enough will get their very own planet after the world ends. They wear magic underpants. Mormon men are all paladins.
Here's one of the ones you hear less often:
See, like many other Christian sects, the Mormons really do believe that the existence of Christ obviates the existence of Judaism. Judaism was just a placeholder until the "real" church could be established by Jesus.
And the Mormons in particular believe, dead ass, that the entire inheritance of Israel has been given to them, because the Jews failed to recognize the Messiah when he was on Earth. They really do. They have this whole system where people are given a "divine revelation" about which of the Tribes of Israel they're a member of (don't worry, they decided that most people belong to the two tribes that are willing to "adopt" people. Only the most specialest boys and girls are members of the original ten).
Let's sum up so far. The Mormons believe that they are the people of Israel, chosen and protected by God. If Jews want to get back in on that party, they can always repent and convert to Mormonism, the one true church to which God gave all the rights and blessings that were originally bestowed on Abraham's house.
But it doesn't stop there!
The Mormons also believe, in all seriousness, that all Indigenous peoples of the Americas are descended from a small group of Jewish people who left just before the fall of Jerusalem (~600 bc iirc). Their entire weird-ass extra bible is a chronicle of those people's history in [unspecific part of America]. At the very beginning of the book, two brothers in the original family turn away from god, so they and all their descendants are cursed with dark skin, so that the good Nephites (who remain "white and delightsome") will always be able to tell themselves apart from the wicked Lamanites.
So, you've got supposedly Jewish people running around the Americas. And the "good" ones are white, and the "bad" ones are brown. Then, ofc, Jesus comes to visit them (I guess supposedly that's part of what he was doing during his dirt nap? Or possibly after he left again, it's not clear), and they all convert to Christianity, which they think is clearly the natural evolution of Judaism. Well, at the end of the book, all of them become wicked, in a kind of weird pseudo-apocalyptic series of events. They are all cursed with dark skin, until such time as they repent for their ancestors sins and return to the gospel.
But of course, Mormons being the good and kind people they are, they want everyone to receive the blessings of God and be brought into the houses of Israel etc etc. And it isn't the fault of those poor little Indigenous children that their distant ancestors turned away from God and became wicked.
So what's the natural answer? Well, Mormons are real big on missionary work, as we all know. But apparently that wasn't enough in this case.
Because the Mormon church has been one of the big players in abducting as many Indigenous children as possible, in order to indoctrinate them into being good Mormons, so that they can turn white again and be blessed. My mother remembers hearing talks about this in the 70s and 80s. The church literally had a "Lamanite Adoption Program," where families in the church were encouraged to get as many Indigenous children as possible away from their families and not let them be reunited until they were fully assimilated and ready to go back and proselytize about how wonderful the church is.
The church leadership literally talked about how wonderful it was to see these children becoming whiter. Actually whiter. Like, saying that when they finally saw them with their families again, it was beautiful how much paler they were.
I'm pretty sure this program has been officially ended, but it doesn't take a genius to speculate about who might be behind the curtains on the movement in the western US to gut the ICWA....
So yeah. Next time someone tries to tell you that the Mormons are just harmless weirdos, please remember that they're an antisemitic cult that advocates for the forced assimilation of Indigenous children to help them escape the cursed brown skin of their ancestors.

Only one day after Paul’s near death experience, there was more drama, 𝗢𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲. Since Paul drank the water of life, he had been slightly 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁..
He was very, very protective over you. He always had been, but after waking up from your tears, he was worse. It had only been a day, and you were already becoming tired of it.
This morning, as you walked around the temple, some Fremen came up to you, greeting you and taking your hand into their own. Although this had happened to you multiple times now, you still became uncomfortable and scared. They saw you as their queen. You were their messiahs lover.
Paul, out of nowhere came walking up behind you, immense power in his walk, putting fear on the men holding your hand.
He wakes straight up to you, ripping their hands from yours
“la talmasuha.” ( don’t touch her ), he spat wrapping his arm around your waist. The two men ran away quickly.
“Paul…they weren’t trying to hurt me” you said softly.
“My love, whether they were or not is not the point. No one is allowed to touch you.” He said, his voice darkening at the last part.
You huffed, your face scrunching up in annoyance, before looking at him, your frown faltering slightly. 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗺.
He pulled you into a hug, his hands going to your bump, which was now quite big. You sighed into the hug, leaning your head on his shoulder.
“How’s our son?” He asked smiling.
You laughed lightly “our son is fine, full of energy though. Woke me at all hours from kicking” you huffed.
Paul laughed at your words “just like his father” he said pulling away slightly, to place a kiss on your bump. He pulled away, giving your forehead a kiss.
“Come with me” he said, taking your hand in his leading you to the room full of Fremen. They had all been praying there since yesterday. Once Paul told everyone that the prophecy was true, they went crazy, praying immediately. He gently led to to the room slowly, knowing your body was tired.
As you two made your way through the crowds, the Fremen praised to themselves, touching you and Paul on the shoulders. It was all lovely, until one of the men on your right kneeled beside you, placing his hands on either side of your swollen belly, which was covered with a sunset orange dress.
Paul whipped his head around as soon as he felt you stop, but when he saw that man with his hands all over you, he couldn’t control himself.
“kayf tajru ealaa lamsiha.” ( don’t you dare touch her). He yelled at the men, shoving him off of you.
“Paul!” You screeched as he shoved the man.
He said nothing as he took you in his arms again bringing you into the centre of the room with him, you two stepping up into what looked like a little stage.
Before speaking he turned around to you “ (y/n), if anyone ever touches you again, you tell me” he ordered, before turning with you to face everyone.
You stepped back a little, leaning against his side, not liking everyone looking at you. You buried your face in the back of his shoulder, hoping he didn’t do something too stupid.
Paul began speaking to everyone in the Fremen language, you understood some bits.
“I am paul Mua’dib atreides, Duke of Arrakis!” you heard him say in English. You stared at him, shocked at his confidence and power. But….you kind of liked it.
He turned and looked at you taking your hands in his. “hal yatamanaa 'ahadukum 'an takun zawjatuka?” He yelled at the audience
(Do any of you wish she was your wife?)
You stared as many looked away in fear and respect. He looked at you before continuing.
“an takun kadhalik abdan. 'iinaha tahmil tifli. milki” he told them, a dark anger in his tone. (She never will be. It’s my child she carries. Mine)
He continued on threatening other men, telling everyone he was the messiah and he would make Arrakis dune again. He also boldly said he’d make a claim for the emperors throne. This made you smile, these people deserved to live in their own planet without suffering.
After a few more minutes, Paul left the room bring you with him. You two spoke about plans on the way to your room.
Once there he helped you out of your dress, into a night dress. You lay on your bed, waiting for Paul to join you. Once he did, you turned and lay your head on his chest.
“Paul do you promise to stay with 𝗨𝘀 forever?” You asked, your hand on your belly. Fear in your voice.
“Of course my love. Why do you ask?” He said tucking some hair around you ear, away from your face.
You looked down “well..I don’t know I mean, you might be emperor and well..you might not want me anymore” you said your eyes filling with tears.
“(Y/N), you don’t seem to understand. I’ve seen my future, 𝗢𝘂𝗿 future. You are meant to rule along side me. Wel belong together, forever” he said kissing you softly.
“Promise?” You asked as he wipped your eyes.
“I promise sweetheart” he said leaning down and kissing you passionately. He pulled you up a bit, leaning in deeper.
“Mhm Paul” you whispered as his kisses went down your neck slowly.
“What, you want more?” He teased kissing you.
You nodded into the kiss, your hands going to his dark curls. His hands traveled all over you as he kissed you passionately.
Eventually, his hand went underneath your night dress and he slipped his finger into your panties. He teasing traced his fingers over your aching core.
“Paul!” You yelled out with a pout.
He smirked before slipping a finger inside you, kissing you as you moaned out loudly, he moved in in and out while his other hands traveled under you night dress, to your breasts.
You begged him for more, tears swelling in your big eyes. He obliged undressing as well.
He carefully slid inside you, both of you moaning out in pleasure. He pulled your night dress down slightly to have access to your perky breasts. He sucked them while pumping in and out of you.
You both rocked your hips, your bodies moving together like one, as you kissed passionately. Eventually you found yourself coming close to your climax.
“Paul I’m gon- I’m gonna cum” you whispered.
“Me too sweetheart” he said in your ear. A moment later you both came undone, him inside you.
You yelled out loudly, pleasure erupting from inside you.
“Thats right, you let them know your mine” he growled.
After you both came down from your high, he cleaned you up and gently slid your night dress onto you properly, while redressing himself.
“I love you Paul” you whispered before falling asleep on his chest.
“I love you too” he whispered back, watching you as you drifted off to sleep, his hands wrapped around your bump. Although his prophecy was long and full of adventure, 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁.

The thing about Erzsebet is that she's a very unsubtle colonialism metaphor.
Olrox likens her to the Spaniards who invaded his land and slaughtered his people, She speaks of how she wants to conquer Europe and later the "New World" because she considers it her divine right to do so (The Manifest Destiny ideology that made invaders believe that they were divinely ordained to destroy the native population and settle on their land).
She tells the Night Creatures in episode 8 to silence Edouard's singing. During the French Revolution, music and songs were considered a fundamentally important part of it (him singing the songs he used to sing when he was a human could also symbolise his rebellion against his nature as a Night Creature, beings that were considered nothing but bloodthirsty, mindless monsters that held no memories of their past lives)
Even the great power she possesses is not her own, it was the blood of Sekhmet, an Egyptian goddess, another land she conquered and stole from (Drolta says that she was an Egyptian priestess in life, making me believe that Erzsebet was the one to turn her)
She promises slave-owning vampires that as their Messiah she will return the world to it's "natural order", where the slaves that revolted against them will become their property again.
This directly contradicts what Annette's mentor said. That slavery may seem like this practise that always existed to people like Annette who was born into a family of slaves, and lived the majority of her life in chains and people like Comte de Vaublanc who was likely born into a family of slaveowners, someone who spent his entire life enslaving and abusing people. But ultimately, humans did not come into this world as slaves and slaveowners. Turning slavery into something that is not natural and inevitable but rather a man-made evil that can be defeated.
Idk i noticed those things while watching the show and i saw no one in the tags talking about it so I decided to write down my thoughts.

Reminder: A Realm Reborn wasn't particularly about us. It was about the Eorzean Factions, it was about the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and their interactions with and thwarting Gaius and the XIVth Legion. We were just a useful champion slowly growing to fame but not truly a Warrior of Light until literally the prelude to the Castrum raiding mission.
The Parting of Glass wasn't about us either. It was, once again, about the world. And how it had begun changing after Gaius's fall and the brief period of peace away from Garlemald's Shadow. About Alphinaud beginning his arc of growth with hubris and the creation the Crystal Braves and what it might of looked like IF the Scion's good nature was lent to anyone and everyone. And thus opening itself up to the very corruption Minfilia feared to move away from the Waking Sands and to the Rising Stones in the first place.
Heavensward isn't about us. It is about Alphinaud's continue growth, learning of Ishgard's past and history. Hubris, arrogance and narrow viewing lead Alphinaud to steps of the Foundation, it has lead Estinien astray and made Ysayle believe she is a messiah incarnate. And through the journey, each of them grow as they learn the terrible truth about the Dragonsong War. Estinien in particular has his eyes opened and no longer simply seeks revenge on Nidhogg but to get to the bottom of it all. So no other shepherd's son has to live as he has. Ysayle learns she is a shade and a faux Shiva not truly Hraesvelgr's beloved or even in the same category as her. She learns swallow such delusions and embrace what Saint Shiva stood for in its entirety. Which means leaning to lay the road for peace between Ishgard and the Dragons and opening a path to this by sacrificing herself for those she loved so dearly. Alphinaud learns from all of this and more and is humbled by the duty of a knight, the fervor of a dragoon, the sacrifice of a saint, and the courage of his companions and of Sharlayan's arrogance from Master Matoya. To put others before himself and allow others to support him when he falls.
The Far Edge of Fate isn't about us. It was about how Ishgard carries on after Thordan and the Heavens Ward are shown to be the monsters they are. How the remnants of the church, the knights of Ishgard, and the civilian population react to the realization with rejection. How facing off against Nidhogg possessing Estinien, the Warriors of Darkness, and the machinations of Ilberd force Eorzea and Ishgard to look inward and know truly where they should go from there. To ignore the easier road and take the higher path no matter the strife and hardship it provides them. Because when they reach the otherside they would be better for it. Finding that courage, after five years of procrastinating and hemming and hawing, the Eorzean Alliance finally begin to mobilize to free Ala Mhigo from Garlemald and perhaps take on the Empire itself.
Stormblood isn't about us. It is about Doma and Ala Mhigo fighting for the survival of their people and cultures. Facing the parts of their society that were spurned and used as tools of hatred against their principles. That provided the necessary cracks required for Garlemald to break them down and oppress them in the first place. And how reforging under those values and those long histories of violence can make a new path and come to terms to over throw the tyrants who fed on their weakened states and make a strong unity still.
A Requiem of Heroes wasn't about us, it was about the world facing down the barrel of war with Garlemald. And uncovering its origins, its founding father was an Ascian. How Varis is forced to face down the lie as Elidibus wears the skin of his son and the great grandfather he and other Garleans were taught was a walking god in all but name was a sham and a daemon bent on causing more pain and suffering than mankind ever deserved. How the effigies of hate and pain choose to use their fervor to help their people instead of turning against them once more. How every person can change and be given a second chance. How that second chance is what that person requires or if they are pushed the wrong direction, can caused tragedy to unfold. And lastly, it is about our companions, slowly. One by one. Being dragged to the unknown. The story slowly taking away the players on the stage until finally...
Shadowbringers was about us. It was about how we were instrumental to the world so much that it lost nearly all hope in another timeline. How a group of your fondest friends began and how your comrade's furthest decendents acting on the hope of your legend and stories. To provide a plan of action and lead to happier world. How even when everything seems lost and gone and your purpose seems to turned everything around you into twisted monstrosities. That you can bring the night and wait in comfort for a dawn to bring better days. And the tenacity of your aid providing a world on the brink, the love, the compassion, the understanding, the strength, and the will to stand up to a flood of destruction and spit fate in the eye. Even it costs them everything, they keep fighting until they can see a brighter tomorrow.
Death unto Dawn was about what the tomorrow brings. How it could be another fight but to find what is WORTH fighting for. The memories of those you fight and lived amongst, old studies and things of the past being made to provide the answer to the future, making right wrongs even against those you had wronged unfairly, and to gather together and keep each other safe. You are not alone out here. There are those who will help you along to a brighter future.
Endwalker was about you and yours. About how everyone reacts to an uncertain future in different manners. How some would make ready to flee at the approaching storm, while others would fight, and others might even push you further to the edge. But even when all is lost, call upon the memory of happier times to light the way with hearts aligned shining brilliantly against despair and finding your place amongst those memories.
Growing Light was about us teaching another to hear, feel, and think and experience the world seemingly gone. That everything needn't be give or take. It can be a charitable, warmer place if we make it. It can be kinder and even in the face of unrelenting and undying destruction. Hope will spit out a tooth and stand up once more.
I say all of this because, I've seen people mad that Dawntrail is leaning hard about being about Wuk Lamat and others. To which I say so what if Dawntrail is about Wuk Lamat and Koana? So what if its not about us? We've had four story lines about us. Now we must impart what we've learned to the future as they face similar and sometimes overwhelming odds. To stand tall against the onslaught and make their own choices, their own way to bring a smile to all they hold dear. How family needn't be blood related, they can just be a group who sit down at the table at the end of the day. And speak, laugh, cry, and love. Unto this trail to dawn we shall light way for the future of our world and everything this new dawn brings is worth it.
