Sometimes the authors have shit going on, other wips, or! it just needs to sit and marinate for a bit. Collecting all the flavor and details it wouldn't have otherwise.

This could be a new fandom vibe because of all the "i have to drop this while people are still interested" energy, but its not universal, and i don't believe its good for the fandom ecosystem.

Have patience, and have compassion. Remember that authors are human and these fics? (or comics, animatics, whatever) This is our art. We care about it just as much, if not more than you.

I'm slowly making my way through a new project- editing the entirety of the album PUNCH by Autoheart to the Life Series.

I was originally planning to post all of the edits in order of the songs on the album, but I instead made the Lent one first and am too excited to keep it in my drafts any longer while I work on the first four songs of the album (especially since we're coming up on finals seasons and the amount of time I'll have to work on these is gonna plummet so fast). So instead, I'll be posting them as I make them and make a masterpost of them all in order at the end.

That being said, I hope you enjoy this! I'm really proud of it and a lot of work went into it.

Gem’s death was the cause of Pearl’s realisation. After all that time chasing and taunting and blood, after an offer was finally extended and then brutally taken away, finally, the pin dropped. As stark text blinked into the corner of her vision, with nothing for company but the apathetic water lapping at the shore of this oh so lonely island, finally the reality of Pearl’s emotions hit her. The deep longing in her chest finally revealed its mark. The arrow set fly so long ago finally struck empty space, an absence, a still-warm corpse. Pearl, with so much love to give, and yet again, no one to take it from her cold and broken hands.

another thing amongst the ten thousand other whatever the hell happened in WL ep 5 that continues to baffle and confuse me is the Gem and BigB trade conversation??? Because. Gem. GeminiTay. Why do you need to suddenly be in favour of the 5Gs alliance???

I just. Of all the things she could’ve asked from BigB, why was it for him to just. Say nice things about her to Pearl, Impulse and Scott??? After setting up a whole narrative where the whole server thinks Pearl and Impulse have been antagonising her, and knowing that Scott is already on her side (something along the lines of it anyway, judging from what she tells Pearl later on and her telling Jimmy and Scar that Scott trusts her enough for her to lure him into a trap)??? After making it clear that as of right now she doesn’t ‘love’ Pearl??? Girl what was the point of that. Girl.
