Season 1: So these are Adam, Mira and Kai. They are a team playing a game so they're probably friends irl, right? And these are Vanessa, Reeve and Skeet, who are also a team. Probably friends too.

Season 1: Plus, there's like, one romantic pairing :)

Season 2: So originally, it had been Adam, Reeve and Mira, until Reeve basically called out and went to join Vanessa- who was already trying to get a new player- and Skeet, who is Mira's childhood best friend, but Mira's OTHER childhood bestfriend is Adam who went ahead and recruited Kai, who usually played games with Mira's adopted brother but has NO idea about any of this.

Season 2: Also, they're all kinda gay.

It’s the way that Helena laughs when the marshmallows are thrown in the fire because to her, they’re just marshmallows. She doesn’t realize that for the Innies, these perks— marshmallow squares, finger-trap toys, 5-minute dance parties— are often literally the highlights of their lives. That is the only break the Innies get from the constant work that they do. But this thought doesn’t even occur to Helena and so she laughs.

Look, I don't ship Reeve and Vanessa romantically.

But the "My so-called friends apparently don't want me, but you do and I can't believe there's actually someone out there who values me" is gold.

They should've had a moment in the finale, when Vanessa comes back. Even if just a quick hug or an enthusiastic "You're alive!" or anything (because god forbid one of them dies and they're not there again). They deserved it.

Man I need The Hollow reboot SO bad.

The Hollow in itself is a great show, but they could go so much harder with the concept and characters.

Just going deeper into characterization, families, backstories, flashbacks, horror. They could make it more eerie and more of a mystery, maybe even grimmer with a shift in stylization. They could even play into the Sci-fi aspects, since The Hollow is set in the future.

AND NO, I don’t want to scrap the show and make a whole new one with similar concepts. I want the same characters but more multidimensional. I want to start from the beginning but with a few tweaks.

A reboot could get new fans into The Hollow!!! I want more people to talk about it!!! I want it to be as big as Avatar the Last Airbender or She-ra!!! I want to not sound crazy when I mention it to other friends who don’t get it!!!

But alas, this is simply a dream of mine that will unfortunately never happen.

I’m so proud of Irving.

He followed his gut. He had no fucks to give. He listened to his intuition, he knew that the Helly he cared about as part of his family would never be cruel to him about Burt, he did what had to be done. Not only did he realize Helly was her outie, but he also followed that to the logical conclusion that only an Eagan — an Eagan hidden to the innies, never spoken about in the Hall — could have such power, and he acted decisively to bring back his friend. We could see Irving the military man in his conviction, his investigation, his lethality — and Irving the friend with so much love in his heart, tenderly cradling Helly in his arms.

He knew he would never come back from this.

He made a sacrifice.

My fucking heart, you guys.
