we love a "shut up" / "make me" but consider: "start talking" / "make me"

as in like. proud character who refuses to talk about how they feel about the other because it's mortifying & makes them feel awfully exposed & everything they say are lies or half veiled truths or crafty clever words designed to circumvent honesty and it's so damn annoying that the other character finally snaps and forces them to start talking properly, pushes them until they cant think of any more schemes or poetic sardonicism or conniving comments to evade the truth, strips them of their mask to leave their vulnerabilities bare and bleeding & now all they can do is spill their thoughts & emotions out & spell out desire with unlacquered transparency

Just wanted to say I recently read some patreon content and I'm so enthralled by the setting you've put in place. The ROs don't just immediately give you main character treatment and they feel so individual and fleshed out as people. There's a very prevalent sense of unease and tension that makes itself known occasionally to remind you that you're an outsider among ominously powerful strangers. I just really love how you write and the way it constantly makes me feel the weight of what goes on around the MC. Sorry for the tangent I just wanted to let you know I love your writing I'm super excited to follow this story.

Thank you for the compliments! ❤�� I'm constantly paying lots of attention when I write to make the interactions in a way so that the MC (and you the reader) doesn't feel sidelined. The MC is still the main character after all, and this is their story. They start out small-time in the beginning of course, and they have to work hard to catch up, but it's slowly happening as you get more immersed in the story. The others, especially your future chosen RO, will also learn to rely more and more on the MC.

Big fan of the specific dynamic of Sacrifical Platonic devotion. Of course I love you. Of course I would die for you. Of course I would kill for you.
