okay, so i had a nightmare of cinderella last night, and now im thinking...BTW spoiler

The series is called Cinderella boy, uh huh? So, i saw a post where someone thought the title could be related to Buddy somehow. Cinderella had a evil stepmother, who kept her locked up in a room, wasnt able to leave for the ball and the stepmother had two people who helped her, which was the sisters. In other words, Buddy is kept locked up, with one evil person in the lead, and maybe two sidekicks/or something. Buddy is not allowed to leave (duh), but comforts himself in the escape of being in books. The mirror he breaks in the episode Dreams by night, might be that he wants to escape his reality? In a kid book i read when i was younger, Cinderella broke a mirror. Could it be some connections or am i just overthinking shit? (also cant shake off the feeling that one character we already have met is part of the Ex Libris)

This week I am feeling a bit angsty and Nox has to pay the price of it. I can't take my mind off this official art. At first glance,it is obvious that he is waiting for someone who isn't coming, or he misses someone who isn't in his life anymore. But the cookies on the side got me thinking. The cookie on the left is in a good shape, whereas the cookie on the right is broken. Its arm is missing and its face is cracked, implying that it is about to crack the moment you pick it up. The overall atmosphere of the drawing leads us to believe that Nox used to have someone he was close to, and considering his trust issues we can assume that the person he used to be close to might have been the one who betrayed his trust in some way. Thus,the missing arm could symbolise his situation of being trapped,tied to circumstances he can't get away from. In the latest hiatus episode Buddy was introduced as the protector of loyalty,if he used to be loyal to someone maybe he was loyal to the point he put his hand in the fire for that person and got burnt. The cookie on the right being the only one who is broken could also signify a strong imbalance in the relationship that Nox had with this person, leaving him to be the only one hurt. Moreover,one cup is empty while the other is full. The empty cup could suggest that Nox gave away his everything, leaving him with nothing but a void. The full cup could represent the other person who is unaffected just like the cookie on the left that is in a perfect condition,or that they fulfilled their goal by taking away something important from Nox (most likely his humanity).
