I can't believe I haven't told this story to the void yet. One time my front of my truck actually fell off. It was at the moment the traumatizing realization came that my trucks carriage was only held up by 16 screws. 4 on each wheel. And if those 4 aren't tightened enough, the axel can actually just, fall off. I once found this charming video of "the front fell off" and I realized I can totally quote this often because my front actually fell off. Well it was terrifying in the moment, the call to my parents saying "my wheel just fell off!" is now comical to look back on.
(The cause of it was because it was in an accident a week prior and my stepdad did the repairs and didn't fully tighten a few screws on the right front tire connecting to the axel.)
