okay I am not involved in the current call out drama personally but it's made its way to my Twitter feed and im so genuinely confused because have none of you interacted with fandom before?
yes, the jrwi boys explicitly stated that there is a hard boundary against rpf about them and that they do not want to be shown nsfw art/ fics of their characters. these are reasonable boundaries to have, and they should 1000% be respected.
HOWEVER: they also explicitly said that they could not stop people and they're RIGHT. fandom is, at its core, weird. people write weird, gross, and even immoral shit all of the time. thats what tagging systems, scrolling, or blocking fan creators is for. for example: i really hate arthur being shipped with either of the twins or the twins being shipped together. i think its gross. so i exclude tags, and i scroll. its that easy! weird stuff will always exist on the internet, and nsfw works in the jrwi tag have some of the highest hits. many people read and write these things casually, and that isn't inherently wrong.
it's completely understandable that the jrwi guys dont want to see the characters that they put pieces of themselves into in nsfw situations. SO don't show them!!! as a general rule, you should not be showing, @ing, or sending creators of any media your fanwork, especially if it's suggestive or gorey. THAT is what a boundary looks like. fandom is not for creators anyways, and involving them in it tends to break many creators boundaries, even in more innocent situations (as a general pattern I've observed)
the person who made the call out post is a minor. they are likely steeped deeply in purity culture and have not interacted with fandom much. HOWEVER, calling specific people out by name is not a cool move. these are not bad people. they aren't being bigoted or doing harmful things irl or in the community, and their fan content is relatively harmless as well. they are simply creating things that people feel uncomfortable with on a personal level, and instead of blocking or scrolling, people have decided that they are morally bad people. and that's just... wrong?
sorry about this rant but writing "weird" or "gross" things is not a cancelable offense; it's a part of being in fandom. I am begging anyone who is genuinely upset by this to click on a supernatural or mha tag on ao3 and scroll for 3 seconds. I promise people writing correctly tagged gore or porn that will never be seen by people who don't want to see it is not the end of the world.
love you to the people who got called out and have been getting hate anons if you see this. yall are cool as hell

Jared Padalecki Joins ‘Fire Country’ For Guest Arc That Could Lead To New Franchise Offshoot
EXCLUSIVE: Jared Padalecki is returning to series television. The former Supernatural star, coming off a four-season run as the lead of Walker, has been tapped for a three-episode arc on the upcoming third season of CBS‘ hit drama series Fire Country, headlined and executive produced by Max Thieriot.
He will play Camden, a SoCal firefighter and maverick with a surfer swagger who is a force to be reckoned with and immediately recognizes Bode’s (Thieriot) raw talent.
The deal with Fire Country producer CBS Studios is strictly for the recurring role, sources said. Given Padalecki’s status as a popular leading man with two hit series under his belt, I hear there is a possibility for the guest stint to lead to a new spinoff headlined by him that would join the upcoming Sheriff Country.
Sources stress that the idea is still in its nascent stages. And similarly to the NCIS franchise, which originated on CBS and has generated four domestic offshoots on the network but has also expanded into streaming with the latest spinoff, NCIS: Tony & Ziva (as well as the streaming/broadcast NCIS: Sydney), a new Fire Country spinoff could be for broadcast or streaming. Reps for CBS and CBS Studios declined comment.
Fire Country, which was the most watched new broadcast series in its freshman season, was quickly identified by the CBS leadership as a potential franchise anchor that could spawn multiple spinoffs.
“We are focused on mass-appeal franchises,” CBS President and CEO George Cheeks said in June 2023. “This season’s number one show was Fire Country, which completely lends itself to building out a whole new universe… It became very clear that not only was the show special, it really felt like this could be a great example of us building together a franchise from scratch.”
The first Fire Country spinoff, the Morena Baccarin-starring Sheriff Country, which started off as a planted spinoff episode on the mothership series this past season, was recently picked up to series for 2025-26.
Keeping Padalecki in the fold has been a priority for CBS Studios following the end of its CW drama Walker, on which he was star and executive producer, leading to creating the opportunity for him on Fire Country. Walker was canceled for financial reasons despite being the network’s most watched series.
Fire Country averages more than 10 million viewers per episode in multi-platform viewing. (Live+35-day on Paramount + and CBS TVE)
Season 1 became available on Netflix in the US August 1 and has already reached #3 in the streamer’s daily rankings. This is an additional domestic streaming window for Fire Country whose first two seasons are on Paramount+. It is designed to give the show additional exposure ahead of its Oct. 18 Season 3 premiere on CBS.
From creators and executive producers Tony Phelan, Joan Rater and Thieriot, inspired by Thieriot’s experiences growing up in Northern California, the series follows Bode Donovan (Thieriot), a young convict seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence by joining a prison release firefighting program in Northern California, which sends him back to his hometown.
Billy Burke, Kevin Alejandro, Diane Farr, Stephanie Arcila, Jordan Calloway and Jules Latimer also star. Tia Napolitano, who also serves as showrunner, executive produces alongside Jerry Bruckheimer and KristieAnne Reed of Jerry Bruckheimer Television.
Since the end of Walker, Padalecki also has discussed a role on the upcoming fifth and final season of Prime Video’s The Boys, developed and executive produced by Supernatural creator Eric Kripke. He is repped by UTA, Industry Entertainment and Fuller Law.

the representation of women on the boys is like…not good but there’s so much of it. and it’s all clumsy social commentary that could only be written by the guy who created supernatural. it has the vibes of a student who failed a gender studies 101 class last semester and is overcompensating in the retake class. there’s so many creators with a history of misogyny writing new works that are basically them saying “i’m listening and learning.” but also being overly self conscious about it to point that they’d make a post like this one.

Do you think the Duffers might decide not to do anything with Byler? Or have a D*stiel confession and Will dies?
Hi! How are you doing?
Ok, to answer your first question: Will the Duffers decide no to do anything with Byler?
Ok, if we want to talk about this, we have to go through it from their perspective, so shall we?
They create a hit show, but from the get-go, there's a clear distinction between the friends within said show. It's not noticeable enough that would make people side-eye it, but it's there just enough for you to go back to later on. From the beginning, one of these characters already presents signs of queer-coding.
This progresses to season 2 and evolves to a place where you can see one of these boys latching onto the other, holding onto him and protecting him from everything. Again, it's nothing too big or too noticeable, but it's there.
And then suddenly, one of these boys becomes a completely different person, someone desperate to grow up and evolve, to let go of childish things - that for some reason involve letting go of his friends -, and then this boy says the words "it's not my fault you don't like girls" and it doesn't get addressed.
But it doesn't stop there. They decide to create a plotline of character B being deeply in love with character A. They made that choice, and it wasn't a choice of convenience, there's absolutely nothing convenient about the choice they made.
And why do I say there's nothing convenient?
Because even if they don't want Mil*ven to end up together, they still have to sacrifice money and time for the whole California arc to exist.
If they want Mil*ven as an endgame, they decided to prioritize Will's feelings over something arguably more important in their book.
If they don't Mi*ven as an endgame but don't want Byler either, then what is even the point of Mike visiting California in the first place? They could've gotten Will back in Hawkins somehow, they didn't have to go through all of this California plot nor did they have to take both boys from the supernatural plot (which from what I gathered, made some people upset).
And I raise you one: What was even the point of Will falling in love with Mike in the first place? The story wouldn't change one bit if they just went for: Will is gay and it's coming to terms with it. That's a fine story and it's still as important especially considering the time where it takes place. There was no need, absolutely no need, for Will to be in love with Mike.
But then they decide to the hell with it. Let's throw away not three years, but almost nine, of a story we've been building for just as long. Nothing means anything! Will's feelings for Mike were absolutely pointless, the van scene? Nah, overrated! The lingering looks, the lip glances, the fights, the pining, the hurt... They served no purpose.
They just go through years and years of this (long before people even started shipping Byler and so the argument of queerbaiting is kind of void) just so nothing comes out of it?
You see how that doesn't make much sense, right?
As for comparing ST to other fandoms, I understand the urge to do so. I understand most of us have gone through this before, however, it's simply a case of false equivalence. These creators aren't the same, and the stories also aren't the same.
Thanks for the ask and I hope you have a great day (:

Helpful information about Dead Boy Detectives
•Netflix title suggestion website:
It's REALLY easy and quick to use. All you have to do is write "Dead Boy Detectives", "Dead Boy Detectives season 2", "Dead Boy Detectives season 3" and press "send".
•Netflix official feedback website:
•Netflix official chat:
•Calling Netflix:
You can call Netflix on any official account clicking in "help"
•Unhappily Netflix doesn't have an official email*
•Dead Boy Detectives stats website:
It doesn't show the only important data though, Netflix would analyze in other ways too.
•The hashtags:
Dead Boy Detectives had/has a lot of hashtags, but at the moment the the most famous ones are #DeadBoyDetectives and #SaveDeadBoyDetectives . #ReviveDeadBoyDetectives is also being used when commenting specifically about the streams.
Please use at max two hashtags on Twitter. The app decreases the reach of tweets with too many hashtags, you can use as many as you want on Tumblr though. Also, please refrain from creating more hashtags because if it splits then the posts will have more difficulty to trend. Use more of them, everytime you tweet about Dead Boy Detectives, even if you don't think it's important to use, the hashtags have been trending less in the last few days.
•Atracting more fans:
Usually when people see other people speaking angrily about their shows getting canceled, while 100% comprehensible, people tend to ignore. It's easier to attract more fans if you show that the show is cool, even if it's just a marketing strategy.
Netflix receives messages like this all the time and unhappily they ignore it. But people that don't know the show might get interested if they see the trailer, an edit, a synopsis or something similar, remember to use the hashtags ( #DeadBoyDetectives and #SaveDeadBoyDetectives ). It also is a good idea to probably type something else when mentioning DBD on Twitter and Instagram and not just the hashtags, so it won't be read as spam.
By the way, talking about promoting the show, Ali Plumb, a famous interviewer, posted asking about underrated shows recently, it's a opportunity to coment about Dead Boy Detectives, but remember to focus on it and be respectul instead of talking bad about Netflix. The post's link:
instagram
•The Petition:
There's a petition for the show currently happening for the show. We already got 11000 signatures, the goal at the moment is 15000 signatures. You can also use multiple accounts to sign but it would be even better if you could share it to other people. Please don't send Netflix or other companies the petition, the creator will send it later when there's enough signatures.
•"Watch party" and top 10:
We are mass streaming and trying to get Dead Boy Detectives on Netflix's top 10. And while not the only important thing, the views are important and really helpful. Currently we're appearing on the "Everyone is watching" category in some countries, but you can see in which place on the ranking Dead Boy Detectives is by looking at the stats website. Kudos go to @/starrygraves, @/intotstars and @/moonkailan on Twitter.
•Rating and reviews:
Rating also helps, you can vote by episode on IMDB and write reviews for the show in both websites. here are the links for voting on Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB.
Rotten Tomatoes:
IMDB:
By episode:
•Save Dead Boy Detectives (the account):
It's an tumblr account focused on reviving Dead Boy Detectives, it also has a website (that I'm gonna put below 👇), Instagram and Twitter account, all @/SaveTheDeadBoys. You can find way more information about saving the show such as emails models to send to companies.
•Fucusing on Netflix:
I would recomend foucusing on Netflix for contractual reasons, since it's easier for it to give on on the cancelation than another company buying it. While Netflx doesn't have an official email, people such as the founder and CEOs have. You can also find other* emails on the Save Dead Boy Detectives website. A few of the emails:
→Reed Hastings - Executive Chairman & Founder
→Greg Peters - Co-CEO
→Ted Sarandos - Co-CEO
→Warner Bros
•Letters:
Netflix's mailing addresses are:
"Netflix Inc, 5808, W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028", for the United States and "Netflix Services UK LTD, 30, Berners Street, London, W1T 3LR" for the United Kingdom.
Save Dead Boy Detectives created a plan to send the letters in batches so there can be a constant arrival of letters for weeks. There is also advice for what could help or make worse when sending letters, you can find more here:
Please do not send hate to Netflix, they constantly receive messages like this and will not listen to us. Use the letters to be convincing and show your love to the show.
•Engaging with the articles:
If you engage with the articles more people will write about it. The visualizations and comments is way to demonstrate that people want to see more of it. Here is a list of Dead Boy Detectives articles by @DeadBoysDetect on Twitter:

hi!! aplogies if this is pushing but i really really really love your michie fic titled “H̶e̶r̶” and i was wondering if you’re planning on updating it at some point?? no pressure i just love the premise a lot and i am HOOKED
[also i really hope i have the right blog lol]
Okay, so first off. Right blog? Yes and no? I am the person who wrote Her, but this is more of my... sci-fi, supernatural blog? Which I suppose NPMD could key into, but it's much more sitcoms and movies. (Also just my personal rants, vents and other bullshit)
That being said, I've gotten a confused person looking for my musical theatre blog enough times that I definitely should create a pinned post including my other blogs.
My musical theatre blog, for future reference, is @im-not-a-l0ser . Very fitting if you ask me ^-^
Anyway! About your question! I do plan on updating it at some point, I just don't know when that point will be. Something that keeps me on top of my stories is writing chapters in advance so I don't get burnout. Example, I'm writing Beanies right now and there are nine chapters posted. Chapter 10 is complete, but I haven't yet finished chapter 11, so I'm not posting Chapter 10, and Chapter 11 won't be out until Chapter 12 is complete. (This also allows me to double-post chapters when I'm finishing a book, although this has not actually happened yet.)
I did not start doing this until after starting Her. I'm stuck with Her, because I don't know what direction I'm going into, and I don't know where to start. Also doesn't help that my parents were never formally divorced (they have 6 kids and had been married for over 20 years by the time they separated; can't blame them) so I really don't know anything about the process. I know it's long and gruelling and stuff, but I don't know how quickly I'd be able to just gloss over it. But I suppose maybe Gary Goldstein (Attorney At Law) is a good enough lawyer to get it wrapped up real quick lol.
I understand that Her is more of an angst and trans-comfort gold mine, but feel free to take a peak into my other books, which are updated slightly more frequently, such as Beanies or Zeek: The Fighting Nighthawk. Beanies is more building friendship secretly between them, while Zeek: The Fighting Nighthawk has them becoming friends with one under false identity (obviously, that's Zeek.) Beanies does also include the same character being trans, but it's not a major plot/talking point (yet). I really appreciate the support, I'm just going to be very busy between planning for pride and writing for Beanies (I have a trio of chapters coming out that I want to get out of the way before I pick up something else; I don't want burnt out on this before I even finish the pride event stories.)
If you want something of mine that's complete, I have a handful of one-shots, such as Dance with Death (spoilers for Workin' Boys and Abstinence Camp), Max Jagerman's Socks, r/TrueOffMyChest (you can actually find some backstory for that on my blog under an ask @/24-guy sent in), and Max Jagerman's Private Story.
I also have an ongoing porn saga but we're not gonna talk about that right now
Hi! If you follow me for LREF, Stranger Things, It, etc. and you for some reason read this whole thing. You should totally go watch the Hatchetfield musicals! If you like musicals (some people don't lmao)
If you're interested, they have a rich lore, many meta-jokes, and a currently active fandom which you might enjoy (looking at you LREF fandom. That is to say, like six people.)
If you are interested, it's The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals, Black Friday, and Nerdy Prudes Must Die. They're all free on YouTube, recorded by the creators and they're all absolutely fantastic IMO. Watch them in that order though! If you don't, you'll be really confused! This is a trilogy (kinda), the world is the same (kinda), the previous shows give context for world building and jokes.
If you do watch them, please please come talk to me about it over on @im-not-a-l0ser . I do highly recommend blocking the tags though before you've finished them. Spoilers can happen really easily, and when it comes to Hatchetfield, something that might seem small or insignificant (or maybe just extremely confusing) probably means something pretty big overall.
(Ps, there's also a 'mini series' called Nightmare Time. It definitely gives some context and it expands upon Hatchetfield as a whole, but it's not technically necessary to watch. I'm not gonna force anyone to watch it, just because there's so goddamn much of it.)
#side note: locker rooms and fantasies has 15 bookmarks??? why???#and why aren't there more comments if there are 15 bookmarks??? /hj#nerdy prudes must die#michie#-her-#max jagerman#richie lipschitz#trans richie lipschitz#can you tell i tried to keep the man part vague and stuff so that my other followers wouldn't get spoilers in case they wanted to watch?#highkey need everyone to watch the hatchetfield trilogy#anyone feel free to use my writing strategy it scary works#i mean i just didn't really expect it to work that well#might not work for you but no harm in trying

Lemures Blue at 2.a.m Creator’s Interview
This interview was taken from the Lemures Blue art book. The translation was done by this lovely person. I don’t own the translation or interview don’t re blog without crediting the original owners. be sure to supports the creators by buying this book. This interview contains major spoilers for the game, If you haven’t played the game I recommend not to read. if you do read at your own risk. you had been warned
Creator Interview
I have created a spectral explanation survey, and I will answer the questions we received.. Thank you to everyone who replied to the survey!
Q. Which route was the easiest to write?
Itsuki’s route. His primary principle was clearly stated to be the guilt he felt towards Shinnosuke, so I think it was the easiest to sympathize with as he strived for repentance. Also, thanks to Itsuki’s supernatural powers, Aoi can go more places, like the city.
Q. Which route was the hardest to write?
Hinata and Aoi’s route, easily. I wasn’t sure about Hinata’s motivation, or how he would help Aoi. I hadn’t decided on Hinata’s personality for quite a while...
Q. Which character was the easiest to write?
Sakura. He’s pretty easy to understand as a character. He speaks and acts like he always has Aoi’s best interests in mind. But there’s more to him than that. His father not accepting him is also easy to sympathize with.
Q. Which character was the hardest to write?
Aoi. I didn’t want him to sound repetitive, so I had to work very hard to avoid that. Also, he’s a ghost, so he’s limited on how much he’s able to do.
Q. Do you have a favorite character, or one you’re attached to?
Everyone has their own opinions, but if you ask me... I would have to say Aoi. I both hate him and love him... He’s a monster, and yet we empathize with him, we think about how we can save him.
Q. Which character in Lemures Blue is the most similar to you?
!?!? Some people said I was like Aoi, but I asked my friends who know about my obsession with him, and they said I wasn’t like Aoi. Maybe I’m like Sakura then, since he’s obsessed with Aoi too.
Q. What’s your favorite route?
For me, it’s Itsuki’s route. Unlike the other two, he has no history with Aoi. They were complete strangers, but once he met Aoi, Itsuki’s life slowly fell apart. Sakura and Hinata had deep connections with Aoi, but Itsuki’s never had to be involved. That’s what I like most about it. I also like the idea of the two of them being alone in the world. Or maybe it’s just because I concentrated too hard on Hinata and Sakura during production that I naturally gravitate toward Itsuki...
Q. What are your favorite scenes in each route?
In Sakura’s route, there’s two scenes: the scene where he spreads blueberries on Aoi’s body, and the one where the two sing together. For the first one, I was aiming for it to be a sickening scene. And for the other one, the music by TownHall was fantastic! I playtested it a lot.
For Itsuki’s route, it’s the train ride scene. It’s the only route that has the characters contrast with the people of the city. I really liked the idea of the two boys alone together in the middle of the night among the adults. In the Hinata/Aoi route, it’s the scene with Hinata running. I tried my best to make it feel animated. Animation is about breathing life into things that can’t move on their own, and I wanted to do that for Hinata. I was so happy when I played through that scene.
Q. What is your favorite ending?
Perfect Dystopia from Hinata/Aoi’s route. Aoi becomes a terror on the world once he enters high school. He believes that people dying at fourteen would be a benefit to society. Fourteen years old is the limit until people become unpredictable. Also, I think Akane Aoi is a good name... I think it fits him well as a high school student.
Q. How long does it take to make an illustration?
30 minutes for the sketch, 20 minutes for the line art, 3 hours to color, and 30 minutes of rendering. So about 5 hours, roughly.
Q. Did you do the line art by hand?
Yes. I use a Pentel Graph 600 mechanical pencil.
Q. Which illustrations were the hardest to draw?
The illustration of Sakura in Chapter 3 and the one of Hinata running in Chapter 12. For Hinata, it was simply a lot of work to do. For Sakura, it was difficult overcoming my own shame.
Q. What do you focus on the most when drawing?
I don’t focus on anything in particular. Maybe the colors?
Q. How did you come up with the story?
It began with the idea of the main character meeting a mysterious boy and wondering if he’s a ghost, only to find out that they were a ghost themselves. And then I expanded it from there. In Lemures Blue, there was a truth that had to be revealed, so I focused on foreshadowing and false leads. I’m not that good at writing a story, so I write isolated scenes when they come to me and find some way to connect them. I drew the artwork first and created the story around that, which isn’t exactly common. Otherwise, I wrote down questions I had in my notebook and tried to answer them.
Q. Did you model the characters after anything? Any sort of motifs?
I didn’t have any motifs in mind, other than the color scheme— blue, red, yellow, green. I also pulled from the characters from other projects. Aoi’s face was meant to resemble a creepy avatar character, for example. I didn’t model the characters off of anything in particular, but I am aware that Aoi and Hinata resemble characters from Evangelion. I was hoping to create a false lead with Hinata resembling Kaworu.
Q. What works influenced you?
For Lemures Blue, I was most influenced by the works of Nisio Isin, Otsuichi, and Ikuji’s works. I was exposed to Nisio Isin in a very emotional period in my life, and while I’m not directly
influenced by his works, they definitely influence the basis of my projects. Characters, settings, wordplay... It all comes back to him. My desire to do a “I was really a ghost this whole time!” twist was largely influenced by Nisio Isin and Otsuichi. I really wanted to do something like Utena, but I couldn’t at all... I think the concept of searching after a specific foreign item came from Penguindrum.
Q. What works inspired you?
I was inspired a lot by the music of Ling tosite Sigure. I remember being on the train, trying desperately to think of characters and plot concepts. I was always listening to Ling tosite Sigure on my iPod. I personally think the charm of their music is the sense of gravity in the performance, almost like the song is folding in on itself, as well as the lyrics which desperately try to depict TK’s thoughts but ultimately can’t. I especially love the grief and pain from his screams; that thought of heartbreak formed the ideal image of Aoi. In addition to Ling tosite Sigure, I’m inspired by a lot of other music.
Q. Were the characters an homage to The Heart of Thomas? (Aoi →Thomas, Hinata → Erich, Sakura → Juli, Itsuki → Oskar, etc.)
When I first thought of this game as a BL game, I immediately thought of The Heart of Thomas. Or I think my view of BL has been defined by Heart of Thomas... It wasn’t until I was nearly done that I realized the characters were almost one to one. If Aoi is Thomas and Sakura is Yuri, then the phrase “I’ll give my heart to you” is very appropriate. It might be surprising, but I didn’t intend it at all! That said, I did just read The November Gymnasium. I was surprised to see that the characters still lined up there. Aoi to Thomas, Hinata to Erich, Sakura to Oskar, and Itsuki to the class president.
Q. Is the story set in Hokkaido? Or somewhere else in Japan?
Of course it’s Hokkaido! I’m glad some people picked up on the Star Festival part. I don’t know much about Hokkaido, but cherry blossoms in July would have to be somewhere cold. I haven’t picked a specific location though. Somewhere next to the sea and a forest, and relatively close to the city. So, somewhere near Sapporo. I initially wanted to set it in Furano, but there’s no sea there... Ideally it’s somewhere near the Sea of Okhotsk, with all the drift ice and sea slugs, but the places around there are too rural to have TV... but it is set in 2033, so maybe it’ll be more urban by then!
Q. If you gave each character a voice actor, who would they be?
I’m not that well versed in voice actors, but... Aoi: I would prefer a female voice actor, for sure. My friend suggested Rie Kugimiya. A soprano voice would work best. Itsuki: A female voice actor that can do a male voice, or a male voice actor with a higher voice. The shriller, the better. Hinata: I don’t have anyone in mind for him. My friend said Jun Fuyukama, and while I’m not familiar with him, he seems to be a good pick. Sakura: Anyone. No real preference.
Q. Who is seme and who is uke?
All of the characters could easily be seme or uke. I hope people don’t worry about it too much.
That said, the original concept was for Aoi to be seme to everyone, but with Hinata he’s uke. But now I just go with how I’m feeling in the moment. (Also, my views on seme/uke are very different from the rest of the world, so don’t take anything I say as fact.)
Q. The piano is important to the story, but have you ever played one?
I used to play the piano in kindergarten, and the keyboard in middle school. I’m a bit out of practice these days, though.
Q. When did you come up with the April Fool’s joke?
It was around the middle of March. I may have had the idea sometime before then. It’s frustrating for it to be called a shonen-ai game even though it’s a BL game, so I made it in order to show what BL is really like (lol).
Q. Why did you start making games?
I was inspired by playing lots of other games. I’ve always wanted to put my creativity to use, but I’m not very good at manga or writing. But with games, it’s just illustrations and dialogue! I felt it was the best fit for me. In fact, I enjoy being able to use music in games as well.
Q. What made you want to make Lemures Blue?
It all started with the idea of a plot twist. I made a 30-minute long game in order to test it out. I had no idea it would become this big.
Q. What message did you want to convey with this game?
It’s in Chapter 12, where Hinata and Aoi are shouting near the ocean. Like I wrote in the commentary, I want people to appreciate themselves... even a little. It’s a bit embarrassing…

Sex education, the 4th and last season
Spoilers ahead!!
First, Hannah Gadsby! A very welcomed and fun addition to the cast.
I also liked how Adam's dad is trying to better himself, and creating a relationship with his son. That was pretty touching.
The last episode made me cry like a baby. Very emotional scenes. I liked the funeral earlier in the season too for that reason.
But a teacher throwing a student's phone out of the window? That was the biggest wtf moment of the show.
I didn't care who Otis ends up with at all, but apparently the Maeve vs Ruby love triangle has been creating a LOT of feelings in the fandom. So it was actually kinda cool that he didn't end up with either of them, but I imagine many fans are disappointed.
I would have loved to see more of what classes and teachers were like at the new school. I also missed Ms Sands and Mr Henricks a lot, them being present for a few minutes in one episode wasn't enough.
I don't know what to think about the supernatural events in a show that has had zero of those until S4. Eric's conversations with his god were very interesting but I had preferred for those to stay as just dreams. Eric being able to see into the future was also strange. When everything else that's happening is true to reality but there are suddenly one or two supernatural things, it gives the image that those supernatural things are actually real. But gods don't exist. People can't see into the future. On the other hand, I imagine that those supernatural scenes, with god supporting Eric, were really important for Christian lgbtq people. So I should probably get off my edgy atheist horse for this one 😉
I have seen A LOT of criticism against the diversity of the show too. When many shows are not this one obviously sticks out. It's depressing how many people have a problem with it. The supporting characters could have been more fleshed out though so that they would be more than their identity.
Lastly, I did not get a feeling that the show creators are as good at depicting what teenagers today are like as they used to be in S1&2. Not that I'm an expert either but after working with teenagers, well most of them aren't like the kids in the Cavendish school. The fact that Otis was shamed when people thought he was a "men's rights activist" was sadly hilarious. Most of today's boys look up to misogynists like T*te, and Otis being sexist would only make him popular. Some kids are indeed very progressive (and sometimes, like us adults too, failing at it, like the great scenes that showed how ableist the school still is), but a whole school? That sounds like a fantasy.
My favourite seasons are still 1&2, the third season has its great moments (mostly Eric's as well as Ruby's storylines), but was otherwise with the new principal and abstinece only sex ed just weird. The 4th was a bit better than the 3rd but I missed some of the old characters that weren't present anymore. It was an alright ending to a mostly great show.

Jared Padalecki On Reteaming With Eric Kripke For ‘The Boys’: “The Answer Is Yes”
Jared Padalecki has accepted Eric Kripke‘s invitation to join The Boys.
The Supernatural creator recently spoke about his desire to reunite with Padalecki on his Prime Video series for the fifth and final season. When asked by Deadline whether he was up for the task, the actor didn’t hesitate to say, “The answer is yes.”
“We have talked [about a role]. As a matter of fact, we talked today,” he said. “I think at this point in my acting life, I only want to work on projects that I really care about or with people that I really care about, and obviously Eric and I are indelibly connected forever.”
Padalecki is saying goodbye to his CW series Walker next week, after the series was abruptly canceled in May. The series ran for four seasons and, as star and executive producer, Padalecki has been quite busy with that project.
Now that he’ll have some free time in his schedule, he tells Deadline he’s looking forward to the possibility of reuniting with Kripke.
“I mean, he created Supernatural. He created Sam Winchester. He created Ruby [Genevieve Padalecki], who I ended up marrying and starting a family with,” he continued. “I adore him. I adore his humor. I adore him as a person, his storytelling. So I can’t wait. I don’t think [Season 5] films until next year, but I will be ready when he makes the phone call. I’ll just say ‘Okay, when am I flying out?'”
Padalecki joining The Boys could also mean the door is open for reunion with his Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles, who was in Season 3 of The Boys as the villain Soldier Boy. He also made an appearance in the spinoff series Gen V. While his character hasn’t officially appeared in Season 4 of the flagship series, it’s always possible that crossover could happen as well.

the project im currently working on in english class right now
Supernatural 2005 by Eric Kripke, Robert Singer, Robbie Thompson
Supernatural was a TV show about two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, who hunted demons and other assorted supernatural creatures. The creators of Supernatural often did not cast people of color for major or recurring characters, and when they did there were problematic and harmful stereotypes and depictions of those characters. There were also issues throughout the show with Asian fetishization. Despite this, I would still recommend it to anyone who enjoys horror and drama shows.
On season 2 episode 3 “Bloodlust,” a character named Gordon Walker was introduced. He was played by Sterling K. Brown, a black man, and he was a secondary antagonist throughout season two and early season three. Walker’s villain type was “delusional vigilante.” His character was an allegory for racism in that he hated all supernatural beings, especially vampires. He killed his own sister because she was turned into a vampire. Walker was originally introduced as a friend and ally to Sam and Dean — even a parallel to Dean himself. It was shown soon after that he was incredibly biased against vampires when he attempted to kill one who proved that she was not evil. He killed every other vampire in her nest, leaving her alone and grieving. Walker was an example of the harmful stereotype that black men are predisposed to violence. This is an unfortunately common portrayal of black men and boys in much of our media — especially that which is written and produced by white people. His character arc ended with him becoming a vampire and being killed by Sam in an act of self defense.
On season 7 episode 21 “Reading is Fundamental,” Kevin Tran is introduced. He is played by Osric Chau, who is Canadian and of Chinese and Malaysian descent. Kevin’s mother, Linda Tran, is introduced during season 8 episode 2 “What’s Up, Tiger Mommy?” She is played by Lauren Tom, who is Chinese. They embody many American stereotypes of Asian, specifically Chinese, family dynamics. Kevin is academically high achieving, and Linda puts a lot of pressure on him to get good grades and go to a good college. Linda and Kevin are the only major recurring Asian characters in the show. Early in the show, Dean mentions a porn site called Busty Asian Beauties. Throughout the show, it becomes a running joke, but it does fetishize Asian women, which is a real issue that exists in our world. While it is a joke that mainly makes fun of Dean's porn obsession, it is an inappropriate use of Asian characters. Season 2 episode 14 , "Tall Tales," the brothers encounter a trickster god, who is the episode's antagonist. The trickster is a man who can create things and people out of thin air. He liked to make women for himself to have sex with, and he makes a small group of south Asian women in lingerie for Dean as a distraction. This was also the episode where the joke began. The joke runs through season fifteen, which was written and filmed in 2020.

How did you choose their name?
Were they created for the story, or was the story created for them?
Do they have a love interest, and was that their choice or yours?
Do they have a best friend? If so, how did they meet? If not, have they ever/why never?
Did they have a pet as a child?
@melodymunson Ily bestie 🥺❤️ thank you for sending me some asks.
1. How did you choose their name?
Funny story actually. The Alejandra part is based on this really sweet girl in my math class from Mexico who used to help me with my homework. The nickname “Allie” is from my tumblr poll. I think it’s really cute alliteration: Allie and Eddie, and I headcanon that Eddie calls her that because he wants to do cute couple shit and matchy matchy with her. He probably calls her Allie Banallie too.
On her jacket, she has an anglicized version of her name, which is “Alexandra”. For obvious reasons (aka period typical racism), Allie will often tell people the anglicized version of her name in Hawkins because it’s easier to pronounce and they won’t immediately give her shitty looks when they hear an “American” name. Some people call her Alex, Lexie (she hates this), Lex (also hates this), but the Hellfire Club boys are the only ones who actually call her Alejandra/Allie.
The surname Perea actually has a funny ass origin story. My dad was a troublemaker jock in high school, so of course he did sneaky shit like use fake IDs to buy liquor. His fake ID name was “Hector Perea”. I always loved that name (and I used to joke that Hector Perea was my real dad). So I used Hector Perea as her dad’s name, so Allie became a Perea because of my dad’s poor high school decision making. 🤣
2. Were they created for the story, or was the story created for them?
The story was created for Allie. Actually, Allie wasn’t at all a part of the Stranger things fandom. Back in 2017, a friend took me to a live showing of Welcome to Night Vale which is a cosmic horror podcast that takes place in a small desert community. I fell in love with Night Vale, and immediately set out to make a self insert character/OC because hey, that’s what the fuck I do.
It’s also common practice to dress up as OCs/self inserts at live shows, so I started making up my own costume design for my OC so I could dress up for the next show. It took me many years, and I had to find the correct pieces I wanted. So I started lurking Pinterest boards and style guides, saving up my money and buying pieces for the costume. I created a character who was obsessed with cryptids and who had some kind of supernatural encounter with aliens.
Allie’s design started off with a Carhartt Santa Fe style jacket, which is a discontinued design that Carhartt never should have gotten rid of. I loved how it looked on a Pinterest cryptid hunter lookbook and I immediately went to eBay to look for one. When I found one, my jacket was super cheap and fully intact compared to the other’s I’d found, but it obviously was a company issue jacket for a trucker because it has a Curtain Side Carriers, LLC. logo on the right breast. The person I bought it from also sent it as is, so there were little odds and ends in the pockets like a lighter, dried corn kernels for some fucking reason, etc.
I really loved the unspoken history behind the jacket. So, I made up a story that this jacket belonged to my “real dad” (Hector Perea) who went missing on the road and all they found of him was his Carhartt with all his valuables still in the pockets. I was also inspired by the character Jack Burton in my favorite movie “Big Trouble in Little China”, as well as “Alice Isn’t Dead” which is another great podcast from the creators of Night Vale. From that jacket, I just made this really elaborate fantasy that maybe the corn was from my real dad going missing in a midwestern crop circle. I really just went with this really elaborate idea at random, and because Stranger Things is in the same vein as Night Vale, I just reused Allie’s story and tweaked it up to match.
I then collected the little odds and ends patches, but stopped around 2020 when the pandemic hit. I didn’t touch my jacket after that and just kinda collected more things here and there, but this year I finally got time to put it together thanks to Stranger Things. I made sure to only add things that were ambiguously timeline themed and relevant to my OC (hence the name patch of her anglicized name), so any “modern” references were limited only to the 80’s time period. The one button on here that probably isn’t really 80’s compliant is the “Talk to me about true crime” button, but I kept it because a lot of famous true crime cold cases we see on television happened in the 80’s.
I would love to do a pin/patch tour sometime, if ever someone is interested.
3. Do they have a love interest, and was that their choice or yours?
Allie does indeed have a love interest: Eddie Munson. That really wasn’t up to her, lmao. I knew of Eddie before I joined the fandom, and I thought he looked pretty cool/hot. I didn’t watch Stranger Things so I didn’t really know who he was until recently.
Seeing Eddie in action was like being teleported to high school all over again. I have mentioned this before to friends, but Eddie is EXACTLY the kind of guy I would have dated in high school. I have always loved heavy metal/hard rock (my dad is a hardcore Ozzy/Alice Cooper fan and got me into them, and my sibling was a Nu Metalhead drummer who used to force me as a young child to learn lyrics from bands like Otep, Static X, and Kittie). And the majority of my boyfriends in high school were heavy metal musicians (I’ve dated two guitarists, and a drummer). So aesthetically and musically, he and I share similar interests.
However, I fell in love with Eddie when I heard the famous “you’re asking me to walk into Mordor”, because my IRL partner is obsessed with Tolkien. We spent an entire week watching the Peter Jackson trilogy/The Hobbit while I was sick, and I loved that time we spent together. Eddie’s nerdy side reminds me so much of my IRL partner, and they have similar goofy antics and have been both misunderstood by people. The more I learned about Eddie, the more I realized he is exactly like the man I’m dating now, and all the little things that made me fall in love with my boyfriend are things I fell in love with about Eddie.
So when it came to Eddie Munson, Allie did not have a goddamn choice.
4. Do they have a best friend? If so, how did they meet?
Obviously Allie will be any other OCs best friend bc I love my moots who have OCs ❤️🥺. But I guess in a “canonical” sense, her best friend would be Chrissy Cunningham. They met in the bathroom by the drama room and bonded over period products and deep talks on the toilet about trying to maintain a “perfect” image for their boyfriends. Their interaction was one of my most favorite moments to write about because it flowed so naturally, and it reminded me of the talks I have with my own girl friends in the bathroom.
5. Did they have a pet as a child?
Sure the shit she did/still does! Allie’s got two dogs and a cat that have been around since she was about twelve. Her parents are animal lovers (her dad especially), so they have a little menagerie going on. I found random little pictures on Google for the face claims of the animals.
The family’s first pet was a little mutt named Scruffy. Scruffy is now unofficially Eddie’s dog because he’s so chill and sweet. I pictured him being the same type of mutt that Benji was. Some kind of terrier mix that has really scruffy fur. Hence the name.
The second pet from around the same time as Scruffy is Allie’s orange tabby, Ripley, named for Ellen Ripley in Alien. I love orange tabbies, I have one currently. And I felt that Allie would have loved Eddie because of his orange cat energy. Ripley admittedly isn’t present much in the story, but I’m trying to incorporate her more.
The final pet was just a requirement at that point, because every Latino family needs a crusty white dog (it’s the goddamn law, even I had a crusty white dog as a kid). I chose a Shih Tzu because I’ve owned them before (my auntie currently has two) and Allie needed a Velcro dog that was just attached at the hip to her. Thus, I gave Allie her obligatory crusty white dog named Tiffany. Eddie doesn’t get along with this pet, and calls her “Rat Dog”.

'Supernatural' Creator Teases Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki's Reunion on 'The Boys'
The stars could very well align for Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki to appear onscreen together for the first time since Supernatural ended in 2020. During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Supernatural creator Eric Kripke — who also created the The Boys — said “it’s fair” to say that not only could Padalecki, 41, join the Prime Video series for its fifth and final season, but it’s also possible he’ll reunite onscreen with Ackles, who has previously appeared in The Boys and the spin-off show Gen V as Soldier Boy. "The value of that is to break the internet. So we'll see whether it's right for the story," Kripke told the outlet. "But yes, it's occurred to me that putting those two in a scene together would destroy much of the world, and that's appealing." Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy on 'The Boys.'. Courtesy of Prime Video Padalecki, for his part, was very transparent in an interview with Deadline on June 21 whether he'd be interested in joining The Boys. “The answer is yes,” he said. "I think at this point in my acting life, I only want to work on projects that I really care about or with people that I really care about, and obviously Eric and I are indelibly connected forever," the actor added. Padalecki — whose CW action drama series, Walker, comes to end after four seasons on June 26 — went on to share why appearing on The Boys would be fitting given his work with Kripke, 50, and Ackles, 46, on Supernatural. “I mean, he created Supernatural. He created Sam Winchester. He created Ruby , who I ended up marrying and starting a family with,” he said. “I adore him. I adore his humor. I adore him as a person, his storytelling. So I can’t wait. I don’t think films until next year, but I will be ready when he makes the phone call. I’ll just say, ‘Okay, when am I flying out?'” Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles on 'Supernatural.'. Warner Bros Tv/Kobal/Shutterstock It wouldn’t be the first time an actor from Supernatural has popped up on The Boys. Jeffrey Dean Morgan appears as Kessler this season but Kripke acknowledged things are still coming together for season 5. “I don't have the role for him yet just because we haven't cooked it up,” he said. “We're still really early in the season 5 break, but it does seem like the planets are aligning. Barring any unforeseen disaster, it seems like it'll happen. Again, I don't know what the character is, I don't know if it's one episode or more. I genuinely know a total of zero about all of that. I'm not being coy. I really don't know."
