Today a friend texted me and came out as genderfluid, and I'm glad it was over text bcuz I was so surprised, not that they're genderfluid, but that they were coming out to me. Because I thought he had come out to me years ago. But turns out he hadn't come out. Sometimes think back about my time on this website, and it's been pretty chill all things considered but there's one thing that I just remembered that had me laughing.

So like when I was 16 I was in this fandom I will not name. Certain character stans were absolutely ubearable. There was this quote from the creator that they took and changed (literally changed... Not interpreted differently, changed) and it became so popular it was in every edit it was fucking annoying. So me and a mutual were making fun of it and made a bit of a parody. So I went to my online fake photoshop and made a shitty ass little edit with like comic sans script or smt in 15 mins and posted it. Me, my mutual and like the 5 other people who agreed with us that the distortion was fucking annoying liked and reblogged it. It wasn't even tagged as that character it wasn't tagged as *any* character. It got like 10-15 notes maybe and it was the bunch of us having a giggle.

Anyway time passes, interests shift and I see in my activity I got a reblog on that edit with a comment and I was confused cause its been like 2+ years and I wasn't in that fandom anymore for almost as long?

So I open out of curiosity and io and behold, this random person starts their comment by saying smt like 'I didn't say anything originally because you were a minor but now you don't have that excuse anymore so' and then proceeds to write a dissertation about how I am a bully and vile and stupid? Like you waited years to reply to my shitty 15 minutes meme post?

I like to think that now that Chip's undead, he makes a bunch of stupid jokes about it. He's obviously still sad, but humor is a great coping mechanism. The issue with this is that Gillion finds these jokes horrifying; he thinks it's terrible that Chip would ever joke about something so serious and traumatic. Cue Gill promising Chip over and over that he'll find a solution, while Chip tries to brush it off and pretend he's not crying.

UGH. Ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh ugh UGH.

Chips main coping mechanism is humor, so of course that’s how he’s trying to cope with it, but to Gillion, Chip has gone through something Awful™️ that (in his perspective) fundamentally changed who Chip is (bc remember, according to Gillion, Undead is synonymous with Evil). He can’t wrap his head around how someone could be taking that sort of thing so LIGHTLY. But Gillion’s intensity surrounding the situation makes Chip want to curl and and SOB for the rest of forever

Unfortunately I treat my whole life as sidequests. I've moved five times in five years. I'm already planning my sixth. I was considering joining the volunteer fire department until I saw that training takes a year and that would affect my plan of leaving in a few months. I'm on Indeed for 911 dispatcher jobs and kind of guessing that if I get one I'll move for it. Why 911 dispatcher? I'd like to think it's because I want to help people. I know deep in my heart it's bcuz the show 911 ingrained itself into my psyche while I was watching it every night from midnight to 8am for awhile. I live on a farm right now btw.

What's your earliest Sonic memory?

I was probably around 7 or 8 watching the trailers on some vhs to an I cannot remember what movie, sitting on my parents old wobbly 90s waterbed when I hear "I'M WAITIIING" in the most annoying, snively voice that to this day I cannot get it out of my head and quote often.

Of course at that time my sheltered young mind had no idea or concept of what or who Sonic was so I didn't even connect the dots till I was probably 20 and I realized that the commercial I saw was for The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and I had a very weird nostalgia moment.

but before that it was seeing unfortunately weird pictures of Sonic on DeviantArt which unfortunately ruined my opinion of him and the series ⚰
