Here is my live blog notes of reading the new chapter of The first of a shattered mirror

Mostly for @volivolition I didn’t send this as an ask bc it was long lol but here are my thoughts as I read the chapter

This chapter is hilarious already the physical crew always brings the A game

Hand cordination saying gun? Like a puppy hearing treat lol

Love when contact Mike is brought up Voltion is like we gotta put a stop to this

Poor volition putting up a. Plea to be reasonable but the phys gang is in control this time around. The whole intervention Voltion really stressed out

Naurrr Harry don’t listen to the fascist ideas of time travel 😭 don’t do it

Echem is really shining this time lol especially around the princess “big *woman*”

I knew the voice of stubborn would get along great with the coach

The home made Gatorade lol

LMAOOO the coach check and echem both saying they can take her I cantttt this chapter I knew it was going to be good

Ahh yes just what I expected the voice of the stubborn starting to push his power.

. Much like the game how he takes over the narration I love it

#so many thoughts!!!#the fighting was absolutely wonderful here #the description is poignant and really shows the real meaning behind thier fighting #the connections with another person.#all she knows is fighting this is her way of communicating #this was definitely a very physical heavy chapter and I love it #this chapter is one of my favs tbh and the adversary is one of my favorite routes in the game #I’m so bad at taking live notes lol very short #but I really love it so many fun moments here as well as much expected moments #such as the apricot wrapper oof #and surprise visit from spinal chord! what a rare sight to see in fics #I mean also a rare sight in the game too lol

My true magnum opus.#I was originally going to do this gag as a 'alternate version of comic 155'#Then I realized that they have the 'Come back to Gusu with me' conversation twice. So here we are!#I did consider having WWX say 'I'm not going back to gusu with you' in the comic for the better plot accuracy.#I'm invoking the rule of silly by having Wei Wuxian read between the lines of 'Come back to Gusu with me'.#Because it does feel like a confession! It is a confession of 'I care about your safety and I worry for what may happen.'#It is also poorly articulated. You can't really blame WWX for reading into it as 'LWJ is just another person trying to control me.'#The relationship between them is not good! It is two parties who genuinely want to be closer with each other but cannot communicate it.#You can't really have what makes these two work so well as a dynamic without the past history of:#“Back then I really wanted to be your friend.” They are a *missed connection*!#WWX reaches out and LWJ rejects him. And now when LWJ reaches out it is WWX who pushes them apart.#It is a tragedy about the consequences of being out of tandem and realizing what you want far too late.#The momentum of WWX's downfall is far to fast to reverse now. It's a 'When' not ''if' question.#Back to your normal style of PD-MDZS next update. Thank you for reading!

There was always this frantic quality to Buck's relationships

With Abby it was.. I need to be a better man, I need to be the bigger person, I need to be understanding

With Ali it was ... I need to change something

With Taylor it was... I have to make it work

With Natalia it was... I need to be quick with this cause who knows if I'm running out of time/I need to use the lightning strike as a wake up call

And then there is Tommy

Tommy who makes the first step but then lets him breathe through it for a moment

Tommy who asks HIM out

Tommy who cares that Buck doesn't do anything he's not ready for

Yes, Buck is a little frantic with the date but

Tommy gives him room and grace and understanding

And then the coffee date!!!

For the first time we see Buck AT EASE looking at a romantic connection with someone

Is he still Buck, and moves a little head over heels? Of course he is!

But it's not cause he's desperate

It's cause he's EXCITED

He's filled with so much joy and excitement

and for the first time he has no outlined plan with a relationship, no map he's following

Instead he allows himself to discover and explore this relationship and this part of himself

He's so excited about it

So free and bright and content with it

Tommy really stopped that hamster wheel and showed him a new way and

Buck is guided by that inner light of his now, without trying to direct it

And he's not looking for what's missing, what's wrong or following a plan

He just lets himself be and experience and explore and discover

And just

The sheer joy and ease of it all

I can't!

Go, Evan, go and spread your wings and explore that joy

You deserve it so much

still boggles my mind that in the year 2024 most players still ignore anora's character just to reduce her to a lying backstabber, when she only goes against you if:

you reveal her identity to ser cautherine and howe's soldiers, defeating the entire purpose of her disguise and also ignoring what she told you literally one minute before about how they can't know she's escaping with you - thereby betraying her first

you ignore her completely in denerim after she asks you to come talk to her, and only show up to the landsmeet

you bring up loghain's fate, and when she tells you that she would rather him be spared if possible, you tell her to her face that her father has to die

#also ppl saying that anora isnt a people person and thats why cailan/alistair are better rulers or necessary on the throne #when the game repeatedly talks about how it was ANORA who was popular and loved #loghain even tells you that she knows how to appeal to peoples emotions #'in another life she could've been a bard'#< thats not someone who doesn't know how to connect with and move people #like! youre a stranger who is aligned with eamon who wants to replace anora with alistair just to preserve a royal bloodline!#no wonder! she is not! the most open and friendly character to you!!#even that being said - she IS personable to you #she tells you personal stories about cailan and her dad #if you ask if she needs anything she is genuinely surprised and thanks you for asking #anora has flaws! you dont have to make shit up!#dragon age #dragon age origins #anora mac tir #queen anora

Got some mixed feelings about the Striker is Satan’s son theory circulating around rn LMAO

Also the fact this has all started from a single silhouette of this man is very funny

Trying to explain in the group chat why Ratiorine has me in a death grip and I couldn't find the words so I just sent Little Prince quotes.
