Cue: the slowest of burns between Wangxian that's so worth it though. Really loved how the characters are portrayed! Excerpt: The man huffs, a derisive sound. “You may be clever, but you are not a professional by any standard.” “I’m paid for my work. That makes it my profession.” “You are untrained and thus cannot profess to be qualified by any official standard,” the Lan teacher retorts. In the same scathing tone, he mutters, “Not to mention your attitude and illegible script.” Asshole. Wei Ying scowls at him. “So, I’m unqualified and you’re discourteous. Seems we’re both flawed men, yet here you are using my work to educate your students.” The man balks minutely at that, and one of the white-clad students makes an indignant noise. Wei Ying continues: “My pieces are valuable enough to the people who buy from me. If I’m not good enough to meet your qualified, highly-trained standards, then please feel free to pass me by.” He can’t quite hold himself back from one last jibe. “I’d like to see your students recreate even one of my talismans half so well.” The daozhang opens his mouth as if to speak, but then pauses. the reason lan zhan likes the rabbits, is because they were given to him by wei ying. yes, the rabbits. the whole ass rabbit colony in the cloud recesses post 13 years is because of the og rabbits, that were given, gifted, to lan zhan by wei ying.

its the same as him keeping the flower he'd stolen from wei ying (along with his first kiss) for more than a decade and a half, preserved and well taken care of. its the same as him keeping jars of emperor's smile in the jingshi.

i fully belive that if wei ying had not given lan zhan those rabbits that lan zhan wouldn't have had that much of an interest in them. its all because of wei ying.

but wei ying, that dense motherfucker, barely remembers that he's the one who gave lan zhan rabbits in the first place and because lan zhan is absolutely obsessed in love with him he's held onto everything about those rabbits forever.

A pretty green field of rabbits that sit around like stuffed animals? Absolutely not. Those little farts are digging a maze of burrows under the Cloud Recesses. They also eat everything. They’re probably eating all the vegetable scraps given and then busting into the gardens on the property to boot. Chewing stuff is also a reality when you have an animal whose main asset is teeth that never stop growing. I’m talking all furniture at nibbling height. Priceless heirlooms with cute little bunny teeth marks.

I imagine no one calls him out on it though. If someone tries, he stares at them with those eyes of his until they remember they have other problems. His very expensive robes have their hems chewed off. No one mentions it.

An animal that seems very cute and mysterious which is secretly a little shit is actually very apt for him.

4. Hi i'm looking for a fic set post cloud recesses study arc. Wei wuxian returned to gusu to for individual study but he and Lan wanji haven't really spoken since he returned. This is all background for the fic. The main plot is centered around a nighthunt in which Lan Xichen takes wwx, lwj, jc and i think su she. They are their to restore a barrier of sorts that surround the town. The head of the town is a creep and is realised to be the reason for all the resentment trapped within the town. His new target was wei ying. Wei ying gets nose bleeds and has a ghastly encounter with a spirit while in the bath. I dont think it's finished but the last chapter ended with wei ying and lan wanji fending off the mayor guy- he falls off a railing i think. Idk why I didnt bookmark it but I can't find it for the life of me. I'm pretty sure I read it on ao3 but idk if it was posted anywhere else. 8. Hi! This is for fic finder. I dont remember much. It was canon divergent post war au i think. I dont know when but WWX and LWJ figure out their relationship and then gets enganged. JWY act as chaperone and bring a stick so everytime WWX and LWJ gets to close to each other, he use the stick to separate them and says that they need to get away to each other minimum as far as the stick that he hold. 10. Hello! I’m trying to find a fic where Madam Yu and JFM lived and Madam Yu was specifically raising WWX to be a sort of bodyguard to Jiang Yanli and to follow her to Koi Tower after her marriage. And WWX felt a lot of guilt over it because he had fallen in love with LWJ and thus also wanted to get married and move to Cloud Recesses.

The specific thing I remember was a conversation between Madam Yu and JFM about WWX moving to Koi Toawer after Yanli’s marriage and another conversation with WWX, JYL, and JC talking about what WWX wants in life.

Both conversations happened at the end of the fix though, so I can’t recall the rest of the the plot, though presumably it was a Sunshot Campaign retelling.

Hi! Back again because I remembered a few more details. It was an established relationship and lwj feels his core weakening but he doesn't say anything about it because he wants wwx to be happy, and they're in lotus pier when he collapses on the brink of death. They summon lxc to give him spiritual energy but lwj isn't happy to see him and doesn't want to be left alone with him because he hasn't forgiven the past lxc for not believing him and helping wwx. I've been desperately trying to find this fic for like a month and a half now,, I'm beginning to think maybe it's been deleted but I really hope not. Hi, I really need help on that one fic in which WWX time travels temporarily to his Yiling Laozu self, back in the archery contest with the Jins, older WWX seduces LWJ and then they have sex in the forest, which was supposed to be the mystery kiss (WWX with his canon CNC kink and roping young LWJ with it) Younger WWX was aware and he was also there inside his body, but can feel everything. Later, older WWX leaves and gives advice that “If you want him to go harder, beg for him to have mercy on you” and “if you really want him to stop, go still”

- It had been a particularly festive day in the Guild Hall, Crocodile dressing in a nicer suit as better food was served and fancy alcohol was served. Only coming back to reality when he saw everyone was staring at him-

Buggy stares confused, 'Why are you all looking at me?' He looked behind himself first, Then around to see who you could be talking about, that had your heart. Realizing quickly he was alone and you actually ment HIM!

"Wait Me!?"

• After such a stunning yet shocking reveal, Crocodile cut you lose. Feeling you embarrassed him infront of everyone- Which had been the greatest day of your life!

• As you fly into Buggy's (Who got beaten senseless once again) arms. Who accepts you happily into his life-

• Frolicking away to his Circus Themed Ship in what can only be described as total Joy!

• "HAHAHAHAHA I WIN!!" He yells out, holding you in his arms as he flips off Crocodile once more and holds you in his arms.

• You adore his Flashy Crusty ways, the way he weirdly cackled and utter lack of emotional control.

Lan Zhan Loves Little Apple

I think Lan Zhan loves Little Apple the donkey.

The Cloud Recesses is huge with a lot of land, he insists that Little Apple shares the pasture land with his rabbits.

It’s his way of indicating Little Apple is just as loved as his rabbits, he makes the donkey equal to the rabbits.

Is the donkey annoying? Yes, but Wei Ying is also a bit annoying and frustrating but he loves him to.

The poor juniors they’re stuck in the middle the elders of the Lan clan keep telling them to take the donkey away. They have to respect their elders so they have to do it.

Wei Ying and Lan Zhan are also their elders and the two of them keep insisting, the donkey stays and take it back.

The poor juniors are just caught in the middle of all of this. 🤣😆
