Frankenstein was released November 21, 1931. The first noir volume takes place January 1933. It's been a generous 14 months since he's seen this movie but with how its written here it sounds like he's talking about an instance when he was a kid. or at least... younger than however old he was just over a year ago.

Either Pete is on the younger side of his teenage years or he's very sensitive to 'horror'/disturbing scenes, or both. I'd get it if he's sensitive to that stuff cause who knows what heinous shit he's seen but damn does that make me feel really awful for him. so when you ask someone to be in a queerplatonic relationship, you usually kinda gotta define what such a relationship would look like for you, in contrast to you and the other person's current relationship. cuz there's no real template for What A Queerplatonic Relationship Looks Like. if for whatever reason you want full spotify premium (for example i use it a lot on my work computer and phone so i can’t just download something and be all good tbh) jsyk the cheapest option is gift cards. you have to front load your payments because they come in 3, 6, and 12 month options, which i recognize isn’t an option for everyone, but if you can you definitely save money - the 3 and 6 month one comes out to $10/month ($30 and $60 respectively) and the 12 month comes out to $8.25/month ($99). they’re available as physical cards or digital gift cards that can be sent directly to your email. once the gift card runs out i believe you just go back to standard membership, but you might default back to paying for premium monthly if you’ve already given your payment info. there’s like, at least four major retailers i found selling these when i google ‘spotify annual gift card’ so i’m not even gonna link anything i’m just gonna suggest you do that and take your pick. obviously if you’re capable of just cancelling your membership and using a free option or this is pissing you off enough to change platforms, do it. i just haven’t paid full price for premium since the last price hike annoyed me and i found a third option.
