Bruce will just come home from a long day of work. He's tired and just wants a nice, quiet evening, but he's subconsciously psyching himself up to prepare himself for the chaos he'll witness once he enters the manor

but then Jason's just quietly doing his own thing, maybe even helping Alfred with some chores, reading, or just lounging about in the manor. In general, just causing no trouble and Bruce just turns to Alfred, all worried like, "Is he sick? I don't think children are supposed to behave this way."

One day while watching Yuji, your clothes get dirty. No problem, you can go to your apartment and change… except you locked yourself out. Don’t worry, Choso has your spare key! It’s gotta be somewhere… it’s with him and he’s not off work for another couple of hours.

Luckily, the little kid you babysit is a problem solver, and Yuji hands you one of Choso’s shirts to change into instead. It’s actually pretty comfortable, a little big, but it smells like his laundry detergent and a lingering scent of his cologne.

“That shirt is big on you!” Yuji points out the obvious.

“Yeah, it is, Yuji. But it’s pretty comfy. You sure he won’t mind?”

“I promise! Choso won’t mind, I think.”

“You think?”

“Don’t worry about it, I’m bored.”

You laugh and cook Yuji dinner as he plays with toys. After a couple hours, you put Yuji to bed and Choso comes home.

“I’m back.” He calls out, and you appear out of Yuji’s room. Choso almost chokes on his own spit when he sees you in his shirt.

“Sorry, I got my shirt dirty and locked myself out of my apartment somehow…”

“Oh, do I need to unlock it for you?”

“Yeah, if you don’t mind.”

“I don’t mind.”

The two of you go to the next door apartment and Choso unlocks it for you and you grab your keys.

“I swear I had these with me,” you mumble and sigh. “Sorry for wearing your shirt again.”

“I don’t mind. It’s cute on you.” He says without thinking and immediately looks away in embarrassment. Your cheeks flush as well and you laugh a little.

“Thanks… It smells nice, you know…”

“Probably just the detergent I use,” he mumbles in a flustered manner.

“It also has a hint of your cologne. Smells like you, it’s nice…” You’re going to be the death of him.

“Uh, th-thanks… I’m guessing Yuji’s in bed?”

“Yeah, he just fell asleep.”

“Good, good…”

“…I’ll clean your shirt and bring it back tomorrow. If that’s okay.”

“Yeah, okay, take your time.” He silently scolds himself for being so flustered. “I’ll see you tomorrow then?”

“Yeah, does Yuji need babysat?”

“No, but he does need to prepare for Sukuna to visit again.”

“Oh boy, sounds like fun.” You laugh.

“You have no idea. I’m just hoping he doesn’t bother me about you.” He laughs and shakes his head.

You smile and head into your apartment. “I’ll see you tomorrow, Choso.”

“Yeah, see you.”

He waits outside your apartment a little longer before going inside, opening the fridge to find a meal set aside for him with a little note from you reminding him to eat. He smiles and heats up the food, tracing over how you write his name. He’s really not looking forward to his uncle visiting again.

No, it's a lot more than a couple months...

Normally they start filming in July and they end some time in December and take a small break for the holidays before picking back up some time in January. In the past, it normally takes most (if not all) of the months (July-December) to film the first half of the season.

top 5 dihua moments

in chronological order of the episodes:

i'm as in love with the entire donghai scene as much as the next person but this dialogue is particularly special to me. so it was the first one i pinned down for this list. no hesitation. :)

it's a cornerstone of dihua's relationship; the thesis of lxy/llh's and their joint narrative. it prompts the deconstruction of the staple wuxia ideas of 侠 xia and heroism - which is what i really love lhl for. and dfs being the one to deliver this incredibly crucial and significant line is 10/10. he knew lxy even better than lxy did. he is the bearer and catalyst of lhl's story, lxy/llh's story.

"your greatest weakness is that you like being a hero. a swordsman should be without weaknesses." so what does it even mean to be a hero. is it more important to be a hero than being human. and i will become human. i am human and always have been. and i have weaknesses - i cannot win against fate, i am dying. but what ever is even wrong with being weak? being human is to have weaknesses. so i guess it's no wonder for the narrative to come in a full circle with dfs coming in possession of a weakness and be trapped in it. no longer the killer of di fortress. he's just a human being.

and llh bringing this up again in ep 11 feels to me that he had been carrying these words with him over the past 10 years. bicha and the battle have transformed him physically. but i like to think that dfs's words had an important role to play in an even deeper level of change.

all it took was this one scene to sell to me that this would probably be the kind of narrative i love.

(2) reunion in the woods (ep 8)

it's just so fucking good like literally every dihua scene. who doesn't love a good post-divorce first meeting scene. there's just a lot to chew on. most of all, llh just had to keep reminding dfs how well he knew dfs. we know the moon has always been this bright, alright. AND they were threatening each other. very sexy of them.

(3) whatever the heck was going between them in cailianzhuang arc (ep 11)

truly nothing brings out old married couple + parents vibes better than an inquisitive boy accusing you two of being up to something secretive behind his back. both their guilty expressions. :3 also dfs being the first person huahua goes to when he doesn't want to be alone. huahua being exceptionally chatty around dfs and dfs has no problem entertaining him. :3 they're totally on the same wavelength without having to say anything to each other and this arc brings it out so well.

(4) 腊月二十七 donghai anniversary wedding night (ep 38)

this is the last one i came up for the list after fighting a whole war in my mind over which 5 of the 100000 beloved scenes to pick. hate being predictable but. you just HAVE to give it to it. how do you NOT pick this for a top 5. all the 10 million other top 5 dihua scenes just had to make space for the anniversary scene. :'(

if i had to be even more specific, i think the scene of them in bed most likely takes the cake for me. llh literally saved dfs's life and helped him to become the stronger person he has always wanted to be. and perhaps no other moment exhibits the complementary yin and yang nature of their powers/energies in a more illustrative and palpable way. undershirts in bed just hits different from being fully clothed and one person literally having to keep the other person alive by touch...and this time it's llh for dfs despite the whole time it's dfs who was dedicated to keep llh alive. they have no lack of scenes that exhibit how in sync they are intellectually, and this is peak physical intimacy and tenderness, added with a brush with death/mortality yeah...

(5) llh/lxy's farewell to dfs (ep 40)

playing cheat here by combining two different moments :) but they are essentially connected. llh/lxy had to leave. and since it really had to be that way, i'm glad dfs was on his mind until the very end. what more can one ask for. there is really nothing more dear and tender in the world to be thought of

i am stretched fucking thin, my bank account is dwindling to keep up with everything. im going through insane health scares right now, chronic pain, anxiety so severe i want to fucking die, and a major chronic depressive episode to top it all off, i. am. exhausted.

Do you feel like the Vigilante Arc was a sign that MHA was going to go out with a whimper instead of a bang

To me the vigilante arc wasnt the first sign that things with MHA were going to go out with a whimper instead of a bang.

I think after the 2nd bakugo Vs midoriya fight was the first big sign to me that things weren't going to go well. However, the actual thing that made me worried before the vigilante arc was when horikoshi decided to redeem/attone enji.

The final nail on the coffin was the vigilante arc because by that time you could tell the direction that the story decided to go in and I honestly started to doubt a lot of things like the villains getting saved, a proper confrontation of izuku and his trauma, all might stepping up and so much more.

Other blogs have like @sapphic-agent and @nutzgunray-lvt have talked about the failures of the vigilante arc and bakugos apology a lot better than I have so I definitely recommend checking those out.

I'm curious, how did you decide sibling order for the incredibles au? And also who was adopted, what made you choose wild and hyrule? Love your au 💖

Anon I sweated and slaved over sibling order and relations in general in this au you have NO idea lol

Sibling order was mostly based on canon ages and plot. Ignoring the adopted boys for a second, here was most of my reasoning:

Twilight is oldest because he's partially Violet's role and also actually related to Time in regular loz/lu. Legend is next because he's also partially Violet, and he's another of Time's successors. (Wild and Hyrule are both around in here). but after them Wind is next, because he's part of Dash's role, and he's the third and last of Time's successors. I wanted them all to be Time's biological kids lol. Four is the youngest because his powers worked best for Jack-Jack, that's... pretty much the only reason lol. As I developed everything more he (and everyone honestly) really fell into their roles.

I wasn't actually sure for a while about the adopted boys; originally, Legend and Wild were twins, and only Hyrule was adopted. But as I was figuring out Wild's scars, and had some suggestions from people, I realized it worked better to have him be adopted as well. Both of them really were just because the backstories and ages worked best that way!
