Hello hello! I've been struggling with my gender and sexuality for a while now, and I really want to find some labels that work for me!

I've been trying to pin down my gender for some time, since it's more important for me to label that than my sexuality (for me!). I've come to the conclusion that I have a gender, which is not male or female, but not nothing. I'm AFAB, I say I'm transmasc for simplicity of cishet people, but I think my gender labels would be nonbinary and genderqueer with left femboy if that makes sense? Idk it doesn't need to lmao

What I'm really needing help with is my sexuality label! I'm mostly aro/ace, but I do still have attraction (think demiromantic and demisexual). I'm attracted to all genders, but specifically femininity and I do find women more attractive. I want to use the lesbian label, if just to try it out, but I'm afraid to as a transmasc(ish) person who is attracted to not only women and also is aro/ace.

Sorry I'm a mess, sorry if this is incoherent. I appreciate your blog a lot and I hope you're doing better after all that happened with those vegans. I mostly sent this ask because you said you needed to be distracted, I hope it helps jdsahkdhkasdh

Hi! <3 Nonbinary and genderqueer with femboy sounds? So cool? It does not make sense to me but also, like you said, it doesn't need to, it fucking rocks period.

Mh. Honestly, my suggestion with labels is ALWAYS if they call out to you, try them! Sometimes people's perception of their sexuality changes when they try out new labels, sometimes your perception of gender can even change but you always learn something lol.

It wasn't until I started actually calling myself a lesbian that I realized that I really WAS a fucking a lesbian. And then when I got into the community, it strengthened my understanding of my gender and body and I've met some incredible fucking people.

And yeah, some people are going to be weird about you being trans and definitely about you being aro/ace but as long as you're as safe as possible, just give it a shot. Fuck the haters, you'll never know if you never give it a shot and even if it doesn't fit for you, that's none of their fucking business. You're still allowed to try out whatever label interests you. Your sexuality is none of their business and neither is your gender.

"Tell my Tale"

Short answer: Witcher-inspired femslash featuring dragons, wizards, and too many thinky thoughts about the connections between the two. (And about Faun's "Wenn wir uns Wiedersehen")

We have ALYA, who is a princess with a summer job dispatching dragons. There's been more of them ever since the defeat of Seras the Black some 17 years ago - her magic returned to the air and the ground, attaching to various creatures and changing them until they grow feathers and beaks and teeth and claws.

There's NIKODEMUS, her squire and best friend. He's a wizard, or he could be - his mother was the one who took out Seras the Black, not knowing that she was pregnant at the time. There are more children who were affected by Seras' magic, and it's normal for wizards to eventually take on dragon attributes - but even without using magic that might hasten the transformation, Nik got that too-black hair and bristles down his arm. (How can you trust someone who carries the magic of one who murdered hundreds? Look at those eyes, that hair, those claws. He is more dragon than wizard already.) For unrelated reasons, Nik has decided to become a knight instead.

Finally, there's EMMA, a wandering bard. It's dangerous out there on your own, especially if you're unmarried, unmagical, and non-aristocratic. It's maybe unsurprising that she ends up in a well up on a hill, put there by a village who cannot afford to lose any more lifestock to their dragon.

When a buff, armored girl pulls her out of the well, (followed by a sullen-looking boy), Emma falls in love instantly. She promises to write a ballad about the rescue. If she could just have their names -

Ten years later, it has been four years since Emma and Alya traveled together every summer, with Alya slaying dragons and Emma singing songs about it. Emma had always known that their little fling wouldn't be able to last - Alya is a princess. Emma is just a bard.

Lip chuckled, a teasing glint in his eye. “You have no idea. They’re the best… and worst. You’ll fit right in.”

Y/N chuckled nervously, but the warmth of his touch helped ease his anxiety. It was his first time meeting his family, and the pressure to make a good impression weighed heavily on him . 

Lip opened the door, and the familiar cacophony that was the Gallagher household spilled out. The sound of laughter, shouts, and the clattering of dishes filled the air. The moment they stepped inside, the sound of chaos envelopedThem. The sounds of laughter, shouting, and the clinking of glasses filled the air. Lip led him into the living room, where the family was gathered. He wrapped an arm around his boyfriend's waist, a reassuring gesture that made Y/N feel a little more at ease.

“Hey, everyone! Look who I brought!” Lip announced, his voice cutting through the noise. The room turned, eyes landing on Y/N . He felt his heart drop into his stomach, but Lip held held his waist

“Hey!” Ian waved from the couch

“Who’s this? A new fling?” Fiona, Lip's older sister, teased with a playful grin. but Lip smirked, clearly undeterred.

“This is Y/N. My boyfriend,” he stated simply, the words sending a thrill through Him . Y/N glanced at him, His heart swelling, and he returned Y/N gaze with a wink.

“Nice to meet you!” Fiona exclaimed, moving in for a quick hug that caught Y/N off guard. “Welcome to the madhouse.”

One by one, his siblings introduced themselves; Ian gave him an encouraging nod, while Debbie gave him a genuine smile. And Carl barely looked over to him 

As the evening wore on, They got lost in stories shared over messy plates of food, laughter punctuating the air. There were moments when the family’s banter turned a bit heated, but Lip stayed at his side, always ready to pull him back into the warmth of the moment.

“See? Totally worth it,” he said, leaning against the wall with that easy smile that made his boyfriend's heart race. “You’re officially part of the family now.”

Y/N laughed softly, feeling a wave of relief wash over  Him “Thanks for making it so easy.”

He stepped closer, brushing a strand of hair behind Y/N ear. “They like you, and trust me, that’s not easy. Thank fuck Frank wasn’t here”

As if on cue, the door swung open behind them , and Fiona poked her head out. “You two lovebirds coming back in? Or are we interrupting something?”

“Just a moment!” Lip called back, and once the door closed, he turned his full attention back to Y/N  The air crackled with unspoken words, the tension between the two of them palpable.

“Want to get out of here?” he asked, his voice lower, laced with a sense of urgency. Before Y/N could fully respond, he captured Y/N’s lips with his, and that kiss was all the answer needed.

The night air brushed against his skin as they walked hand-in-hand back to Y/N apartment. Lip’s playful banter filled the street, but the anticipation of being alone together danced in the back of their minds.

Once inside Y/N’s  apartment, the door barely clicked shut before Lip was upon him again, his lips crashing onto Y/N passionately. He melted against Lip, His hands instinctively finding the hem of his boyfriends shirt, wanting to pull him closer.

“Lip,” He  breathed, pulling back slightly. His eyes were dark with desire, and lip searched Y/N face as if asking for permission. There was no hesitation in Y/N answer as he nodded, a smile creeping onto his lips.

He lifted Y/N off the ground, the other boy's  legs wrapping around his waist as he pressed  Y/N  back against the wall. The kiss deepened, becoming more frantic, driven by need. The world outside faded away until it was just the two of them, a whirlwind of craving and affection.

“God, I’ve wanted this,” Lip murmured against his lips, moving his hands to explore, fingers trailing down Y/N  side, igniting sparks wherever he touched the other boy.

Y/N  heart raced with exhilaration, both from the thrill and the sheer intimacy of the moment. “Me too,” He admitted, breathless. It felt liberating to be desired so wholly, to feel seen for who he was.

He laid Y/N  down gently on the bed, his fingers caressing his skin like he was memorising every contour. The heat between them both intensified, the chemistry undeniable.Y/N did his best to match his fervour, his hands roaming over him, feeling the muscles beneath his clothes.

As the night unfolded,They lost themselves in each other. Every touch and kiss told a story of affection and acceptance, a culmination of everything they had built together. The boundaries of the chaos outside melted away, leaving only the two of them  in their own universe where love and desire intertwined seamlessly.

Afterwards, as they lay tangled together beneath the sheets, the world felt a little bit brighter. Y/N glanced at Lip, who watched Him intently, a contented smile on his face.

I think it would be really great if the first to realize they’re a mind reader on Athos also realized she was trans after accidentally reading Ethan’s mind and going. Wh. That’s a woman?? And then when Terrence tried to do a little chill mentoring and be like hey :) I know your secret :)) she absolutely PANICKED that she’d get revealed as a secret she devil trying to corrupt the lives of innocent brothers or whatever Athos propaganda was like on that front. And obviously bolted.

It’s part way Terrence and Ethan sighing and realizing Adventure tm found them anyway. Like I figure they intended to be very hands off on the grand experiment, a little nudging at most, but also the kid was obviously FREAKED out and having things go very badly very publicly for the first new mind reader could be a bad misstep for the whole project. So they rangled up their gaggle of sons (who were taking an awful lot after Elli for maximum chaos) and declared a manhunt family vacation. It’s a cute look into their domestic life, but also Terrence was obviously feeling really bad about spooking her bc it felt like a ghost of some of his own trauma what with the being hunted down bit.

Meanwhile mind reader was desperately trying to figure out what triggered the sudden ability and how to replicate, if all women were telepaths, and if maybe she could be exorcised??? Could a priest help???? Dealing with a metric ton of internalized transmisogyny and the terrifying idea that maybe people can sense it?? Since that Terrence fellow knew before she did???? And is now hunting her down?!??!????

In proper Bujold fashion she’d probably fall in love with one of their sons, who in his rebellion and desperation to be seen as an adult decided to take the initiative and find what his dads were looking for before they could. He makes her feel like maybe it’s okay to break the mold, she makes him feel seen (and do some introspection on why he’s really acting out). Plus being heterosexual is basically peak rebellion on Athos, though that’s more of a lucky side effect.

It culminated in Terrence and Ethan finally cornering the pair, who are luckily more on the ‘nana can’t catch me’ and ‘oh crap im grounded’ side of things than the previous ‘I’m going to be burned at the stake’ level of catastrophizing. At which point Terrence delivered a long and ambiguous speech of solidarity, lots of ‘I know what it’s like because im the same’ and ‘you’re not a monster or scourge of society’ and enough confusing references to biology and genetics that she cried “thank god the father there’s another woman on this planet!” and started asking a million questions in the trans direction.

Okay, this is really funny- The chaos. Just imagine the chaos. Gonna try to put my thoughts into words (<- Literally a fucking writer. I'm just tired today don't blame me).

Please assume the OP world here is exactly the same but Mihawk and Shanks actually raised Zoro and Luffy. Somehow. Don't ask me how. They see them as their fathers. Zeff and Sanji's story is still the same because they're canonically family lmao. And also Transfem!Sanji as you said btw bc I love my princess.

The thing about Mihawk and Zoro going to a dinner with them is that Zoro and Sanji would try to behave but they would end up arguing in front of them anyway because that's just how they are and Mihawk and Zeff would end up talking alone about them tbh. Zeff offers Mihawk one of his best wines and Mihawk is- Well, you already know how Mihawk is. Their conversation is pretty polite but they keep drinking while the other two are in the background fighting for some meaningless bullshit like: "YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO GET HERE FIFTEEN MINUTES AGO, STUPID MOSSHEAD" / "OKAY SO IT'S MY FAULT THAT THE SEA IS VERY ROUGH TODAY AND THE SHIP ALMOST SINKS" / "LIAR!! I'M SURE YOU JUST GOT LOST".

And it's uhhh chaotic. But there's passion and Sanji is mad because she cares about him meeting Zeff and Zoro is frustrated but actually trying to calm down. Zeff and Mihawk are very fond of tough love and passionate couples so these two fighting just means they have strong feelings for each other. However, they end up making up and sitting down with their fathers while they tell anecdotes and try to get to know each other better. Mihawk and Zeff are intimidating af and I'm like 100% sure that Zoro would be scared of Zeff at some point bc he would look at him with that look of "If you hurt my daughter I'm killing you" and Zoro is, for once in his life, scared of a cook. Then that silly topic of "Oh, yes, I ate my own leg to save this little shit of a daughter from starving to death" comes up.

Zoro almost chokes on his food and Mihawk stares at Zeff for a while, looks down at his leg, squints his eyes at him and says: It certainly is a really admirable doing. And just out of mere curiosity, was it good-

Zeff: A little bit of seasoning and less pain would've helped

Sanji: DAD, WHAT THE FUCK

Zoro: Curly, you didn't tell me your dad was cool

Sanji: OH, YES, EXCUSE ME MOSSHEAD FOR NOT TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT MY DAD EATING HIS OWN FUCKING LEG

Mihawk: I say admirable doing because you just met her, right? I would not have done something like this for this bastard right here

And basically, long story short, the night ends pretty well to Sanji's surprise. Mihawk is very nice and polite to her even if he looks pretty dark and edgy, and Sanji can't believe that man raised an idiot like her boyfriend. Then we have Zeff, who shakes Zoro's hand so hard it hurts and whispers in his ear all the atrocities he would do to him if he hurt his precious princess. Things that won't happen, of course. That's why that 'would' is there. But still, he tells him anyway. Just in case.

When Luffy tells Shanks to go to the Baratie together, he doesn't hesitate to say yes because who would refuse to go there? What kind of pirate would he be? Sanji is already there because she decided to go a bit earlier, so Shanks instantly assumes he's just going to have lunch with his son in a very nice place and see Zeff again after a long time. When they get to the Baratie and see that Sanji is there too, Shanks assumes Sanji just stopped by too. A coincidence. He already knows that's Zeff's daughter, btw.

But then Luffy does that thing he always does, running towards someone he loves and hugging them tightly with his legs wrapped around them. And Shanks is just like "Oh, well, that's his usual behavior and he's just greeting his cook" but then they kiss and it's uh, confusing. So Shanks asks what's going on and Sanji is all like "Please, don't tell me you didn't mention this to Shanks" and Luffy just shrugs, turns around, and says "Dad, I'm dating Sanji!" then looks at his cook again smiling and Sanji sighs: "And you obviously didn't tell him this was supposed to be a thing so our dads could talk-"

Shanks: Fuck, am I meeting your dad now? Like, actually meeting him as your boyfriend's dad? That's not- Hey, Anchor, you did not mention this.

Luffy: I'm sorry! But Zeff is reaaaaally amazing!

Shanks: I am well aware that he's amazing but you need to warn me first about this stuff.

Luffy: What? It's just dad stuff-

Shanks: I AM NOT GOOD AT DAD STUFF

Then Zeff appears and Shanks tries to act like a normal father for once (he can't. He fails. It doesn't work) and they actually end up having a pretty calm and fun dinner once he relaxes, remembering that Zeff has always been cool. Luffy is extremely clingy with Sanji, a thing that Shanks already knew but never guessed it was because of them dating. And now that he sees it from a different perspective, it is clear that they're in love, even if Sanji won't stop trying to push the kid away because he's obsessed with sitting close to her and eating food from her hands and things like that. Little shit has a more stable love life than him. That's depressing.

Their laughter and joyful voices fill the whole empty restaurant and Shanks and Zeff are already a bit drunk while Sanji is dragged by Luffy to sit on his lap. And it would be embarrassing but it's not like their dads are looking at them, too caught up in their own anecdotes and stories.

Then Shanks asks how Zeff met Sanji because he knows that's not his biological daughter. He remembers Zeff telling him about his little princess years ago when Sanji was still at the Baratie and Shanks stopped by to eat with his crew. And of course, Zeff explains what happened. Their shared dream and everything. Luffy isn't really listening because he already knows the story and is too focused on his girlfriend right now. Zeff tells them about the leg thing, and Shanks starts laughing so, so fucking loud and hysterically:

Shanks: I DID THAT TOO

Zeff: You did what, too?

Shanks: Don't you notice something missing? Perhaps on the left side of my torso? There hanging? Well- Nothing hanging, actually

Zeff: You did not-

Shanks: I did not, but I lost this useless thingy saving this bastard right here

Sanji: You said you're not good at dad stuff but that's a pretty dad thing to do, huh?

Shanks: I guess so, yeah. We have more things than I thought in common, Red Leg!

Luffy: Except for cooking. Your cooking is awful.

Shanks: My cooking is amazing, Anchor, thank you very much.

Luffy: THAT'S NOT TRUE! YOU ONLY HEATED UP WHAT MAKINO MADE FOR ME

Shanks: But I did a good job!

Anyway, they surprisingly have a very nice and warm meal together without Shanks or Luffy being as chaotic as Sanji thought they'd be. When they're heading out, Zeff just pats Luffy on the shoulder and tells him to take care of his princess and appreciate her food or else he'll make him clean the dishes again but this time for years, quite literally speaking. Shanks sees the couple holding hands when they get out of the restaurant, the redhead staying behind for a second to speak to Zeff. But Shanks is already at that point of drunkness where he starts having a breakdown and he's like "Why does my kid have a girlfriend and my husband left me?????? This is so unfair. They love each other so much, Red Leg, look at them!!!!!!!" and Zeff is like "They're young and stupid too, but they'll grow up. You still haven't. Please get out of my restaurant before you make my onions cry."

Law doesn't want to meet Zeff, that much is clear. He is not good at meeting new people and even less meeting father figures because God knows he doesn't have a good memory of how his relationship with his dad ended (Rip Cora-san, we miss you). But he goes anyway because Sanji keeps insisting and saying that it's important to her, and of course, Law can't say no to her. Well, actually Sanji just tells him that if he comes with her to the Baratie, she'll wear the Soba-Mask suit (Stealth Black or whatever, Sanji refuses to say those words so-) again for him some time and Law accepts almost instantly. Fucking simp.

So they go to the Baratie and Law is dressed in a white shirt and actual, proper, and almost elegant clothes because Bepo said he needed to do it in order to give a good impression, and Law, deep down, just wants Sanji to be happy. And if getting along with her dad will do it, having to deal with this torture for a few hours is worth it.

Sanji keeps telling him not to worry about Zeff because, even if it's a big step in their relationship, her dad is just a bit scary but a good guy, after all. He will like Law once he knows how much he cares about her too! But Law isn't worried about that, he just fucking sucks at social interactions. Free the introvert from having to socialize, please, he just wants to stay with his girlfriend alone and cuddle and infodump about silly little things and comics. This is highly bad for his mental health (getting out and talking to people).

But, well, turns out Zeff is actually a great guy. Even though at first he looks at his daughter intensely and says: "Why the ex shichibukai of all people? This guy looks depressed too. Have you eaten, kid? You look like a starving man. He looks like a starving man, sweetheart. You're not dating an emo bastard who does not eat" and ends up having an argument with Sanji... He's fun to be around, once he settles for feeding Law everything he can cook. And Law isn't complaining but decides not to mention how much he hates bread because he feels that sentence will end up with him dead on the floor.

However, Sanji is the one mentioning that after a while of seeing Law forcing himself to eat bread, rolling her eyes and taking it from his hands to eat it herself. And Zeff is just like "You should've said so earlier, son! Just eat whatever you like. I feed people for them to enjoy the food, goddamnit!" and Law can only nod and keep eating.

And they actually end up getting along when they start talking more and more. Law starts actually laughing and smiling a little bit and Zeff pats him in the back from time to time whenever he mentions stuff he has done with his powers. Zeff just finds that hilarious. And Sanji is happy they're getting along, but extremely embarrassed when Zeff starts talking about her childhood (Law is enjoying every second of this). Then the topic of how Zeff met Sanji is brought up, and Sanji doesn't really want Law to hear it because she didn't tell him about the leg thing. And when he finds out, he's just...

Law: You didn't tell me your dad did that for you

Sanji: It's not something I like to explain, y'know? I kind of feel guilty to this day

Zeff: You're such a cry baby, Eggplant. I already told her countless times I chose to do that and it ended up saving us both! What's the problem?

Sanji: Shut up, old man, you don't get it!

Law: I do get it. The- Uh- Feeling guilty about your dad sacrificing himself. Without Cora-san... I wouldn't be here.

Zeff: Well, kid, I don't know what your father did, but be grateful instead of feeling guilty. I'm sure he's a nice man if he raised somebody who loves my girl this much.

Law: He was a good man, yes. The best. And- I- I do love her. A lot.

Sanji has a moment where she almost cries, but she doesn't!! (She does. She goes to the bathroom and cries).

When they have to go back to the ship, Zeff stops Law and says:

Zeff: You might need to eat more, that much is clear, kid. But you take care of her and that's good enough for me.

Law: Thank yo-

Zeff: But you also strike me as someone who would die for her and even though I do appreciate the effort because I would do the same, don't die on her, got it? And eat more. Eat what she makes, actually. And you also should check if you're celiac.

Law: I'm a doctor. I know I'm not-

Zeff: Then stop bitching around and eat bread like a man, for fuck's sake.

And, you know, Zeff might be a bit intimidating but he is, after all, a good man just like Cora was.

New Game Announcement: Honor Bound, Crème de la Crème Series Book 4

Honor Bound is a standalone game that takes place four years after Royal Affairs, with a brand new player character.

The story so far: I started working on this game in March 2023. I'm currently writing the first draft of Chapter 4.

as a journalist myself: that absolutely shouldn't have happened to you. it is literally our job to be good at compiling and conveying accurate information. absolutely seems at least somewhat malicious--but that malice could have come from the journo's editor, the publication, etc. too. i hope the response you get is satisfactory, if that's even possible. again, just so sorry that happened to you.

Thank youuu 😭 he's such a good journalist and literally has some of the most thorough researching I've seen done on certain events, so I'm just kind of at a loss. he called me up today to tell me that he wrote the article with the wrong pronouns and had it published, only remembering when i emailed him afterwards that i'd asked for "special accommodations" on my pronouns. and then he misgendered me like three times while telling me about his discussion with the editor to get it fixed. then he apologized for the "slip up" and thanked me for talking with him. so.

yeah. not satisfactory at all but at least i know what happened, i guess. thank you, i really appreciate you saying that, it's been more than a little shitty. i really thought bc he's worked on trans issues before that at LEAST he'd get my pronouns in the article right? but. apparently not ig. 🫤

I have decided because it’s fun content and I enjoy making it, and I love the smiles I get when I go out in public and dance for people and take photos with smiling kids in my Silly Little Man costume, aka the reason I am comfortable in my body today as a trans disabled person, and able to dance at all:

This is TADAA! The Cool Guy Phantom of Los Angeles! He likes to be cool, make friends, and dance all night long! :3

TADAA! Actually helped me get over my body dysphoria. I learned to dance because I wanted to get over how much I hated my body so the character could be able to dance when I played him… so I learned even though it made me sick to look at and study my body like that. But putting on TADAA! Made me feel really confident and better about myself, and after a while, I didn’t need to put him on to dance in front of a camera. He actually taught me my body was talented and beautiful just like it was, I didn’t need to cover up for that to be true.

Now he’s my goofy Los Angeles undead beach himbo who runs around causing positive chaos. I even went to AX in him one year in 106’F heat because I love being insane and I love playing his character and bringing out joy in both others and myself.

Can I just take a moment to tell you all how much you mean to me? I have been on the internet for a long time, since the olden days of AOL, Dial Up Internet, yelling at your family to get off the phone so you can log on, and when google image search had only like 3 pictures when you did a search on it (my first image search was Harrison Ford by the way).

And never in my many years of fandoms, and being online have I ever met such a wonderfully welcoming group of people. I spent a lot of years being anxious, and even now, when my confidence has grown, it was hard at first to want to just jump into the fandom. But you know what? I took a leap, and all you wonderful people just welcomed me, and every other person with open arms. You were kind, and supportive, and continue to be every single day.

I see so many folks mention that they were afraid to use tumblr or to engage and then some kind person in the fandom made them feel safe and welcome, and now we have another lovely, talented, kind, beautiful member of our crew.

This fandom really is second to none, and I want you to know just how much a positive impact on the world you have, because it's huge. And sure, we do some other cool stuff like raise money and things but like, on a day to day scale, you make people feel safe. Our crew gets to go throughout there day with a positive experience they didnt have prior... they can take that positivity and spread it to others because they might have one more spoon today because of all of you.

I just want you to know you make such a wonderful impact on this world, so if you're ever struggling and wondering where to go from here, poke your head back into this fandom and see all the love we have for you.
