On this day, 5 June 1920, Peruvian anarchist Nicolás Gutarra was deported from Chile to Mollendo in Peru. He was expelled under the Residence Act of 1918 which was implemented to target anarchists and communists in the wake of the 1917 Russian revolution. He had been accused of "attacking the established order" and dissuading young workers from joining the army, partly at least for advocating for the defence of Julio Rebosio, another Peruvian anarchist and conscientious objector who had been sentenced to death by Chilean authorities. Gutarra had been a key organiser of a successful general strike in Peru which won the implementation of a maximum 8-hour working day in 1919. He was subsequently deported from Peru to Panama, from whence he was deported once again to Brazil. He travelled to Bolivia and Argentina, where it is believed he was also quickly expelled, before travelling to Santiago, Chile, to continue his agitation. After his deportation back to Peru, he was arrested again, in connection with attacks on missionary schools set up to convert Indigenous peoples and put them to work in the rubber industry. He was then expelled and sent to Brazil, eventually repatriated voluntarily to Venezuela, who deported him once more to Colombia. There he became a leading organiser amongst tenants in Barranquilla until he was deported to Panama following a general strike. After going off the radar for some years, he turned up in Guatemala in 1928, where he helped organise a revolutionary syndicalist group, the Committee for Union Action. From there he travelled to Costa Rica and eventually moved to New York City. In 1959 he and his family moved to Puerto Rico, where it appears he died in 1961, aged 68. It's that time again, Happy WBW! Is there a real world place that inspired one of the locations in your WIP? If so, what is it and why did you select it?

Thank you for the ask! Sorry about the late response!

For the islands I started with the basic "theme" for each one - ice, water, sun, and wind. Then as I started building the nature, I looked at a lot of inspiration photos of different places. So this is based only on the natural areas, rather than the cities and towns.

Bahavi's nature was inspired a lot by Costa Rica, Brazil, and Mexico. Also a little bit of Australia in the "danger zone" sense lol.

Elohia was mostly Finland and Norway, with some Antarctica thrown in.

Auren's main influence was the Sahara desert and the countries included within, especially Egypt.

And Kazete's nature was mostly inspired by the UK.

Appreciating: Blaptica dubia!

Blaptica dubia, known commonly as the Dubia cockroach, are by far my absolute favorite insect of all time. On that note, I feel like it's fitting that they are the topic of my first post like this!

These appreciation posts will tend to be quite long, so I hope you keep reading! I'm prone to rambling about invertebrates, and cockroaches even more so

Commonly kept by those who own reptiles as little more than livestock, Dubia roaches are often overlooked. While they can do fine with egg cartons, they truly thrive when given a variety of natural resources.

Dubia cockroaches can be found in the tropical rainforests Brazil, Argentina and Costa Rico. They are frugivores, and love moist and sugary fruits like mangos, watermelon and oranges. They are avid decomposers, grazing on anything from rotting leaves to fallen fruit.

I adore Blaptica dubia so much because of their laidback demeanor, clustering behavior and affinity for fresh ripe fruit. Like most cockroaches, they are sensitive to bright light and prefer a dark spot to hang out.

Dubia nymphs act very different than their parents, as do most blattodeans. While the adult roaches will happily graze on the surface, nymphs are frantic and very alert. Adults will climb around on elevated surfaces and often cluster together, while juveniles prefer to hide under any available item.

If one observes the same individuals over and over again, it's clear that they have some sort of personalities! Some adults are very brave and will always be the first to check out a new foodstuff, while others are lazy and spend their days lounging around.

Personally, I keep a very small colony of Blaptica dubia as pets. They exhibit some very fun behaviors like food and nest preferences! My three adult Dubias like to eat papaya, mango and avocado while the countless nymphs prefer banana, sweet potato and grapes!

The adults live by themselves, alongside a few assorted isopods and a few very young juveniles, in their own vivarium. The older nymphs live in the other two tanks, digging around in the rich soil. Very young nymphs feed on their parents' frass (the arthropod equivalent of dung) in order to build a healthy gut microbiome!

            she’s  climbing  up  the  stairs  when  she  stops.  it’s  late  --  too  late  --  and  johanna  had  quietly  snuck  out  of  the  apartment,  promising  not  to  be  more  than  twenty  minutes.  apparently,  she  was  gone  for  much  more  than  twenty  minutes.  wandering  the  streets  even  though  they  don’t  live  near  any  of  the  typical  tourists-type  spots  that  are  less  crowded  at  night  that  she  flocks  to.  the  night  ended  with  a  shadowy  figure  over  her  shoulder,  her  phone  buzzing  in  her  pocket  as  she  mentally  cursed  it  for  being  so  loud,  and  coming  to  the  realization  that  the  shadowy  figure  was  her  husband.  again.  johanna  is  a  few  steps  ahead  of  him  (  she  insisted  on  the  stairs,  the  elevator  doesn’t  have  enough  space  to  pace  or  to  even  breathe  in  ).  her  fingers  are  laced  with  his.  she  turns  around  to  press  a  quick  and  gentle  kiss  to  his  forehead.  riff  gets  irritated  when  he’s  tired  and  johanna  is  too  awake  and  she’s  already  apologized  at  least  ten  times.  but  she  wants  him  to  know  that  with  him  there,  she  finally  feels  somewhat  safe.  

            all  the  files  and  records  are  hell  to  her,  but  a  fire  that  johanna  can’t  help  but  edge  closer  to.  she  hates  the  names  listed  in  these  old  papers.  she  devours  the  tiniest  detail.  when  she  types  in  a  single  name,  where  there  were  no  results  previously,  there  are  now  dozens.  too  many  newspapers  rubbing  their  grubby  hands  all  over  whatever  tragedy  took  place  with  those  people,  those  names  that  she  has  memorized  and  are  firmly  planted  in  her  brain.  she  hates  it,  yet  she  can’t  stop.  it  stings,  yet  her  hand  does  not  leave  the  hot  kettle.  as  much  as  johanna  doesn’t  want  to  know,  as  much  as  she  tries  to  forget  them,  she  can’t.  maybe  this  is  what  other  adopted  children  do.  they  get  as  much  information  on  the  birth  parents  they  never  knew.  but  they  don’t  have  to  read  articles  about  another  missing  person’s  case  tied  to  their  father.  as  she  lays  on  the  floor,  johanna  hears  riff’s  footsteps  as  he  lingers  in  the  doorway.  the  newspaper  articles  have  taken  over  their  bedroom,  surrounding  her  in  a  hurricane  of  despair.  a  weak  hand  reaches  for  him,  though  it  barely  leaves  the  ground.  once  she’s  in  his  arms,  johanna  presses  a  teary  kiss  to  his  cheek.  thank  you  for  being  here  after  everything.  

            ❝  i’ve  figured  everything  out.  i  have  a  stupid  amount  of  money  and  i  want  to  use  it.  we  can  go  anywhere.  ❞  they’re  sitting  upright  in  bed.  if  one  could  count  the  way  johanna  is  leaning  against  riff  with  her  legs  swung  over  hers  sitting  up.  it’s  comfortable,  though.  a  position  where  nothing  hurts  for  either  of  them.  there’s  a  bowl  of  popcorn  sitting  on  the  nightstand.  even  johanna  takes  the  occasional  bite  from  it,  though  she’s  mostly  focused  on  feeding  it  to  riff.  ❝  i  already  have  a  list  of  places  we  can  go.  california,  paris,  dubai,  venice  --  ❞  she’s  interrupted  by  his  lips  suddenly  on  hers.  fingers  comb  through  his  hair,  a  hand  falls  to  his  cheek,  even  as  they  break  away,  johanna  gazes  up  at  him  as  if  riff  told  her  his  eyes  were  the  pearl  gates  of  heaven.  it’s  not  much  of  a  pause  before,  ❝  brazil,  japan,  costa  rica  .  .  .  ❞

            as  much  as  johanna  doesn’t  like  his  friends,  she  tries  her  hardest  around  them.  not  to  be  so  closed-off.  trying  to  hide  her  more  compulsive  and  anxious  behaviors.  diesel  is  fine.  he’s  nicer  to  her  than  some  of  the  others.  mouthpiece  is  too  weasely.  ice  she  doesn’t  like  at  all.  but  johanna  likes  john.  he’s  too  good  for  any  of  them.  the  look  in  his  eye  is  the  one  of  someone  similar  to  her  and  it  reminds  her  of  the  single  photo  she  saw  of  the  kid  at  that  crime  scene.  for  now,  johanna  can  hear  all  of  them  in  the  other  room  probably  drinking  the  beers  in  the  fridge  that  she  doesn’t  like  them  having  and  laughing  over  whatever  they  laugh  about.  she’s  tucked  herself  between  the  bed  and  the  wall,  attempting  schoolwork  that  she  can’t  focus  on.  when  riff  opens  up  the  door,  johanna  looks  up  at  him,  setting  aside  the  pencil  that  she  wants  to  shew  on,  but  the  judge’s  voice  in  the  back  of  her  head  won’t  let  her.  she  stands  to  meet  him  because  he  can’t  wedge  himself  where  she  was  as  well.  johanna  can  still  hear  everyone  in  the  other  room  but  she  doesn’t  care  as  she  kisses  her  husband  firmly  on  the  lips.  they  can  wait.  

            buying  things  still  feels  strange.  even  if  johanna  has  bought  several  things  on  her  own  now  and  has  her  own  money  from  her  own  job  to  spend.  it’s  a  little  more  than  embarrassing  how  she  never  really  bought  anything  of  her  own  until  she  was  married.  but  her  former  guardian  wouldn’t  have  allowed  her  to.  buying  her  own  pair  of  school  all  on  her  own  (  riff  wasn’t  even  there  for  it  ),  felt  silly.  not  weird,  not  strange,  just  silly.  especially  buying  a  pair  of  heels.  johanna  only  made  the  purchase  because  a  ten  year  old  had  come  into  the  clinic  and  he  was  taller  than  her  which  was  almost  as  embarrassing  as  not  buying  her  own  things.  she  didn’t  want  to  be  shorter  than  the  children  at  the  clinic  making  her  options  either  be  heels  or  stilts.  she  chose  the  shoes.  similar  to  a  baby  making  their  first  steps,  johanna  wobbles  her  way  over  to  riff  in  the  heels,  an  arm  roping  around  his  shoulders  for  support.  a  breathy  laugh  catches  between  her  teeth.  toes  scoot  up  to  practically  the  ends  of  the  sole  as  she  continues  to  wobble.  johanna  doesn’t  stop.  not  until  her  lips  are  on  his  and  even  standing  tip-toe  in  a  pair  of  heels,  she  feels  secure.

Although Nigel Mansell had a great season this year too, Ayrton was a bit luckier and knew excellently how to capitalize the reliability issues that made Williams lost both championships. Ayrton won the first four races of that year, but I strongly reccomend to watch Brazil 1991. That day, he won in front of his local crowd while being stuck in sixth gear for the last laps. This video gives me the chills and just shows how passionate were brazilians about him:

- 2000 to 2004:

There are lots of explanations about how Ferrari became this dominant between 2000 to 2004. Some people blame it on the Bridgestone exclusivity with Ferrari, others in Schumachers prime. We can't forget about the excellent engineers Ferrari had those years (Ross Brawn, Mattia Binotto, James Alisson, Rory Byrne, Aldo Costa).

But IMHO, the dominance of Ferrari during this era is just a conjunction of this factors. Although in 2003 they won by a minimum margin to McLaren, watching them in 2002 and 2004 being so dominant, could explain why a lot of people of my generation love this team despite they don't win anything since 2008.

Great team and a great car = Absolute dominance.

- 2005:

This season had something similar to what I said in 1991, Fernando capitalized grear the mistakes of McLaren and the bad luck of Kimi that year. But this does'nt mean that Fernando was just lucky. He ended om the podium in 15 of 19 races

2009:

Imagine you bought an F1 for 1 dollar but you discover a loophole in the new regulations of the sport and completely dominate the first half of the season. Well, this is what happened with Brawn GP, a team that won all the championships in which they participated (they competed just for one season but shh).

At thhe beggining of the season, the didn't even had sponsors!

- 2011:

It was very difficult for me to choose just one of Seb's dominant seasons but stats speak for themselves. (Although I could have included 2013 here too)

Look at those numbers Vettel hadd in 2011. (St: Start position / Fin: Final position)

2014:

This season started the Mercedes era and the biggest dominance in the story of the sport. Just watch the first race, the epic battle of the Brocedes duo and while watching that remember this: There are rumours that say that Lewis and Nico were not pushing 100% so the FIA wont suspect that the engine was illegal (it was not).

It was a great year for Daniel too.

2020:

I know this is a relatively new season but I just wanted to add a photo of the W11 because is a beast of a car.

What a stunning car. The best F1 car ever made in my opinion.

Saturday, June 12th. It was a cloudy but beautiful day. The sun was shining briefly on London and it wasn't too hot, Anti and Marvin's favorite weather, but for different reasons. Anti and Jameson had gone out on a date and Marvin stayed home, relaxing from his intense week.

Well, relaxing as he liked, even if for others it was considered more work.

He was just finishing putting clothes in the washing machine when he heard the doorbell, which was odd since he wasn't expecting anyone, but it could only be one person. Not bothering to take off his pajamas and cat mask, he unlocked the door and opened it, finding Chase with a bouquet of sunflowers and a heart-shaped box.

— I feel like you're abusing the fact that I gave you the parking password — he chuckled low, stepping away for the other to enter — what are you doing here?

— Calm down — he placed the objects on the table, heading for the kitchen — let me wash my hands first.

20 seconds for Chase to sanitize himself and remove his mask, and when he returned, Marvin jumped in fright, backing away from the box and flowers. He really did look like a curious cat. But Brody didn't say anything about it, instead he gently held the other’s arm and looked at him worriedly.

— Did something happen, big man? You usually use Mr Fluffington when you're sad.

— Oh, nothing much really… He just makes me feel… — Costa looked around at the gifts, searching for a word to explain how he felt — …magnificent, a different person. And I'd rather have thoughts with Marvin the Magnificent when I'm alone than with Marvin Costa, I never know what my mind will be up to. But it's okay, I swear — he turned to face the other smiling, making him smile too — but what are these things? Need to clean?

— Oh no no, I cleaned it at home! And well, today is the 12th right, I wanted to bring something special… — He laughed embarrassedly, taking the bouquet. Marvin looked at him, blinking twice, and Chase sighed — Valentine's Day in Brazil, love. You told me when we first met.

— Aaah! Wow, I had totally forgotten about that — maybe he needed to visit his origins again — how did you remember? We met about 12 years ago, or more!

— Aah, w-well … Let's say I remembered that, remembered it last year… before we started dating — he pouted, looking down — and maybe I marked it on my calendar… to, to remember this year, you know?

— Did you remember that last year? Before we started dating? — The Brazilian had to stifle a laugh as he saw the other's face and ears slowly turn red.

— I wanted to ask you to date that day! — He looked away. Wow, a romantic Chase like this was something new — I wanted to ask that day last year, but then you asked first in May… how could I refuse?

— Oh Chase — he covered his mouth as the laughter came out, kissing the American's cheek next — you're a sweetheart. So, did you bring these things for me?

— Exactly! — he finally handed over the bouquet he was holding so much — a bouquet of sunflowers, because I know nothing about flowers and I always associate the color yellow with you, and — he opened the heart box, revealing decorated candies and a photo of them at one of Marvin’s dance performs — a box of various sweets, because I'm a cliché but you don't like chocolate!

— Oh, God.

— By the way, Isa said that the ones you don't want are for you to give them to me because she wants them.

— Okay — he smiled, leaving the flowers on the table and taking off his cat mask. He cupped Chase's face, stroking his beard with his thumb — you didn’t need to do that meu querido, but thanks. I love you.

— E eu te amo mais.

Marvin lifted his face laughing when he heard the words in Portuguese, making Chase smile wider. When he lowered his face again, it was to meet Chase's lips in a passionate kiss.

Yeah, happy dia dos namorados for the boyfriends.

Views on Cancel Culture, Woke-ness, Political Correctness & Other Related Issues From The Perspective of an Irrelevant Nobody: Why People Think it Helps & Why it Does Not. By Bradley “Holliday” Rozier I had hoped this first post would be a lot more light-hearted, but after an article and the related tweets I read yesterday, I had to write and share this. So, it is roughly November 2017, I decided to join Greenpeace because I felt it would be a great way to put my mind and anxiety to good use.  Through the connections I made, I ended up with some really good friends and some people who I thought would be a positive asset to my growth and recovery, but ended up not being so.  However, we will get to THAT part later.  First I want to say, generally speaking, I am against most everything the “Woke” movement is against, I simply feel that, tactically speaking, it could and should be handled differently.I was born September 9, 1984 at 10 something PM at what was then “University of Florida Medical Center”, but is now called “UF Health Shands” (Named so after William Augustine Shands, fun fact, W. Shands was not a Doctor, but a politician)  on 8th street in Jacksonville, Florida.  I grew up in culturally and ethnically diverse neighborhood on the northside of town called “Highlands” (named so because it is at a slightly higher elevation than most of the rest of the city) as well as various other places (my biological mother moved, A LOT) so, from an early age, I was presented a multitude of other cultures and backgrounds to embrace and learn from.  The most important factor in this point is my Grandmother, Geraldine Rozier, and my Aunt, Donna Ogle.  Both of whom drilled two very important lessons. Love your neighbor as yourself. (Mark 12:31) Treat others as you want to be treated. (‎Matthew 7:12) Now, as many of you know, I have particular disdain for organized religion, as more often than not I see it bring out the worst in people, if you doubt my words, wait for the next thing I post.  Yet, even I can find value in these teachings.  These teachings also come into play with the topic at hand and I feel that this was a necessary preface for what may come out as being exceptionally harsh.  I need you to understand: this is all coming from a place of love and compassion, though I understand how this may be hard to believe as this is my first blog post. This morning, as I drank my coffee and smoked my first cigarette of the day, I was reading a Revolver article about Glenn Danzig (who is easily one of my favorite musicians).  The article was basically him talking about how punk rock could have never have happened in today’s sociopolitical climate. It received A LOT of hate, but the simple fact is, he was right.  Think about this: The Ramones, New York Dolls, The Clash and The Sex Pistols all put out songs that were offencive to some people, however, that was kind of the point.  In 1976 the Ramones put out their self titled debut, on this album was a song called “Beat on The Brat” the 6 repeated lines from this song involve beating some annoying kid with a baseball bat.  On the 1973 self titled New York Dolls debut there is a track called “Looking For A Kiss” which is about pressuring someone to be intimate with the singer.  The Clash, in 1977,again with the self titled debut, has a song called “Protex Blue” which is a song shaming a girl for not being “wholesome” enough.  Finally, The Sex Pistols, who’s name alone may be enough to get them cancelled these days, finally straying from the “self titled” trend with their 1977 debut album “Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols” had a song called “God Save the Queen” which was about anything except saving the Queen.  In today’s world, these bands would have been stopped dead in their tracks and with them, almost 50 years of other artists. Which brings me to what led me to start this and with it, I hope, a dialogue.

The reason people THINK that cancel culture, woke-ness and political correctness works is because it makes THEM feel warm and fuzzy inside.  They got to “stand up” for the “little guy”.  The reality is these people do this for themselves and that is what I am going to illustrate in the next part. The first point I want to make, which I almost didn’t because I didn’t want to seem nationalist, is the Freedom of Speech.  Now, this is often something people mention when trying to explain how “America is the greatest nation on earth.” However, this is not strictly an American right, Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (United Nations General Assembly Resolution 217A - 10DEC1948 Code-A/RES/3/217A) which was voted for by 48 Nations, and 8 nations abstained1 states that Freedom of Expression as a fundamental human right.  So, I say this with the full certainty that it is absolutely imperative that ALL people should be allowed to express themselves.

My second point, it is insanely important that we teach ourselves that reality is sometimes offensive.  The world does not walk on eggshells and people will be insensitive, it is a simple fact.  Preparing our children (and ourselves) for this fact is a quintessential part of life.  Now, it would be great if everyone was nice and perfectly well mannered all the time.  If you prepare your children for a flat tire you should prepare them for hurt feelings, conversely, it is also a useful tool in teaching children how they should behave by showing them how they should not act.  Using a negative to teach a positive can be a very effective method.  

Third, let’s talk about being “woke” which will bring us back to one of the people I met through my Greenpeace affiliation who was a negative influence on my life. I have no desire to smear this person, so I will simply refer to her by her initials D.H. I met her at a coffee shop where we met to discuss racism in general, but, primarily in Jacksonville. Our introduction was uneventful, but informative for me.  Over the next few months, we would communicate multiple times and meet up at multiple events. At one point she would call me “one of the most ‘woke’ white guys she ever met” which, at the time, I took as a great compliment.  As time would pass we would start to disagree on certain things, mostly things of basic morality. The final straw was when a mutual “friend” of ours decided that it was morally acceptable to lie to someone who was going through a catastrophic period in her life. She made a comment that I completely agreed with in the general context, however in this exact situation it was incorrect.  She said “He didn’t owe her anything”, which is correct, except for the fact that he broke a promise.  I was raised that if you give your word, you honor it. So, yes, he owed her his word, if not,at least an answer as to why he broke it (which was all she wanted). I mention this to say the biggest problem/misconception with ”woke culture” and it is simply this: Being “woke” does not make you a good person.  I also would like to point out that being “woke” 75% of the time does not undo the 25% that you are an asshole.In conclusion, the idea that “wokeness” and Cancel Culture will fix the problems of our society is absolute garbage.  I feel that the only way we can actually fix things is with a dialogue, not by simply throwing people out when they say things that we don’t agree with. Alienation is not fixing anything, in fact, I would argue that it makes things worse.  It is better to extend a hand than slam a door. HMTQ The long wait …………

The road going up to Windsor Castle is called The Long Walk. Because of Covid, her Majesty the Queen , will no longer at this point be going to Buckingham Palace. Hence the reason for yesterday’s riddle clue that 250 BP staff are being made redundant. So she has spent all this time at Windsor Castle and is looking forward to going to Balmoral. As far as I’ve heard, that has not been cancelled. I’ve checked again today and I can’t see anywhere where it’s been cancelled. It will be a long wait for her to see what happens , what is the outcome of this Covid as to whether she can ever go back to Buckingham palace and ever resume any sort of duties that she’s been doing for her whole life! I ache for her, it must hurt her to the core because that’s what she’s committed to and it’s so it’s so upsetting.

I also think this is Prince Harry and having him return to the fold after these years of manipulations and machinations and lies and every other adjective that I don’t want to continue to keep saying about that woman Madam. Soon Harry will be reunited with his family if he has already not been. Again l repeat for the 10th time, 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂, I’m sticking with what I have said, I do believe something happened at Canada House and the next day at Harbottle and Lewis. I heard that they were going to do this last week and they’ve done it now. On the street in front of of President Trump’s huge building that he owns or I think he owns it in New York City in huge letters painted in like neon yellow paint, I think it would flash in the dark it’s so bright, Black Lives Matter has been painted along the whole block. I don’t know how the defacement of public property is allowed. I understand that Americans have free-speech under the first amendment, I believe it is, but you can’t yell fire in a crowded theatre and I don’t know how are you can deface public property. Maybe somebody can explain that to me in the comments because I don’t understand it, but I’m not American so I don’t understand that part but please explain it to me.

I find this very confusing because what I’m reading is that the UK public will have to have a tax increase next year at £35,000,000,000 pounds and it will take years or decades to pay off the £2 trillion debt that this whole COVID19has cost.

OK so we have boarding Charlotte three happy faces with the hats and those blowy things that unfurl Prince George’s birthday is in July 22 he is going to be seven years old can you believe that wow! And then we have B boarding G George with for horrified faces. Well we know it’s not because George is afraid of flying because he absolutely loves it I’ll do all the children. I think this is the first one is it a reference to Charlotte and celebrating George’s birthday the second one I think is a reference to George going to boarding school which has been talked about for a while now and I brought that up in the riddle again yesterday. And I think the four horrified faces of George going off to boarding school would be William and Catherine and Charlotte and Louis that’s what I think this is .

We have been given clues that the Cambridge family is taking a vacation and it would be nice to take it and celebrate George’s birthday don’t you think? Ok so in capital letters we have CBG. MM ANON Very much enjoys using the Star Trek reference of Jim that line from Star Trek is Spock but not as we knew him. So in the UK outdoor pools can open July 11 and on July 25 indoor pools and gyms and the like can open then. So yes they will be gyms and they will be open but not as we knew them before. They will be of course social distancing hand sanitizing smaller classes all of the usual bells and whistle’s that go along with the our new normal. I think people will just be glad to get back to their workouts and get out of the house and connecting with people even though they’re 6 feet away or 2 m or one meat or whatever the social distance will be at that time it’ll just be good for everybody physically and emotionally.

President Bolsonaro, as I said yesterday was at a press conference and he was wearing mask and he proceeded to tell the reporter that he had tested positive for COVID-19 which when he took off his mask continue to talk but then walked backwards. It was very bizarre. This is about the fifth clue about Brazil and now the president of Brazil also the song Brazil has been used a couple of times in the last week or so. I made a note this morning and I don’t know if anybody else had a chance to read it but I was thinking last night and then have you guys ever read the book the boys from Brazil or seen the 🎥 The Boys From Brazil? The book is written by I are 11 and that’s it it’s a story of how the Nazis some of them the higher-ups and the scientist escape to Brazil and they proceeded to breed a master race of young male clones I think it’s just male been a while since I’ve seen that movie. We do know it’s a no well proven fact but after the second world war ended many high-ranking Nazis snuck out of Germany and took refuge in Brazil. In fact there’s a large population of German people still living in Brazil. The Simon Wiesenthal society has for decades made it their mandate to bring to justice or not you were criminals and many of them have been found in that area rather that country. Now I don’t know if this is related to what the clues are about but I look at what’s happening in the world in the rise of fascism and who the backers are and the circles that Madam floated in literally luscious yachting it’s all about your really dangerous people with a lot of power. So I am just raising this is a question. Is there anything there that might be related to the war criminals or the anything like that and I’m just throwing it out there.

Oh this court trial her whatever case between amber Heard and Johnny Depp is just absolutely horrific it’s just all-around horrific. yesterday we heard about what his lunches were she took a picture of his lunch which was a huge cup of whiskey and cigarettes and four lines of cocaine and I forget what else was there and today in court we have them in a rage fight or Johnny Depp hurled a bottle of red wine at her.. Oh sometimes I wish the celebrity stuff that would just be kept out of the papers because this just is nothing but a sideshow of the sadness and with pathetic lives with people who have more money than you and I in than all of everybody on Tumblr put together will ever have and how it’s just wasted. But more than that though, how young beautiful people who are so talented just absolutely waste their lives and how abusive people are. I just find it so sad.

The international Olympic committee has been battling with this issue. They have been trying to decide whether or not they will allow or penalize athletes for any demonstration of taking a knee or raising a fist or anything like that. The whole point of the Olympics is to unite the world in the form of athletics it’s kind of a diplomatic effort if you will like. Do you want to kind of be like “Switzerland” but they were a neutral in these kind of political issues. They are there for the sport and for the sake of the sport in and healthy competition not for political opinions and protests. So last I heard and have read they haven’t made a permanent decision about that yet. I know it’s been on the docket for quite some time and they’ll have to make a decision one way or the other. And I think either either way they go in making decisions I will be very upset people on both sides.

Various places are making various plans for back to school in September. The general consensus is the children need to get back to school even out of school for five months and many are falling behind. There are also many children who who miss nutrition if they’re not at school and as we have read and heard about there’s been an increase in addiction increase in domestic violence and that sort of thing and just the change of routine and structure am just been very detrimental to everybody but especially our most vulnerable children. And so part of the expectation will be and I think we need to all look at this going forward is that we will be wearing masks for a very long time. Some articles say this will be the new normal. Some scientists say Covid19 and the like, will never leave us. Going forward this will be our new normal in terms of social distancing in the plastic screens by the tills and between tables and restaurants and mask and all that sort of thing.

Finally sweet finally team sports are resuming. This weekend the cricket resumes and they are trialling a rather interesting thing of course there won’t be an audience but they are trialling putting loud cheers in and the audio as if there was a crowd present, to see if that makes a difference in how the players play. I think that’s a really interesting thing to do. We do know in sports how much the the athletes feed off the energy of the crowd and vice versa it’s all a very what’s the word pause visceral experience he kind of cheering and screaming and yelling when you get out all your frustrations while you’re cheering for your favourite team and it’s a it’s a healthy experience all the way around!

Well if you’re looking for a holiday they are suggesting anything but cruising! It is always a high-risk activity anyway because there’s so much food on display all the time and there’s all you always hear about food poisoning and bouts of people getting ill on cruise ships from that reason. Now adding Covid19 to the equation, just don’t 🚢cruise! That’s the recommendation and actually I’m quite surprised they’re even doing cruises but I guess they need money so badly that they’ll take whatever bookings they can get.

Glee was a television show on the Fox channel in America about a high school musical club I think. I never watched it but it was immensely popular. There have been a number of young actors suffer from that show that have perished. A young woman by the name of Naya Rivera, her baby child was found in a boat today and the assumption is that she jumped and she drowned herself in the water. Just absolutely tragic and it’s just horrible. Condolences to her family, friends and fans.

There has been been a tragic accident in East London today. A crane a large crane, red in colour, you know if those are the things that they use to build things wow I am an architect eh? Sad to say an 85-year-old lady was killed and she’s still with her body is still trapped in the house. They have sent another crane in to help with the recovery.

This weekend would’ve been the finals at Wimbledon. Today Catherine made a call and she look absolutely gorgeous in green I went to post that to my blog this morning. I made a snarky comment I said soon as that was posted we can expect the next video of Madam should be the same hairstyle as she’s madly looking for a green dress with athletes is on it and a bow that Catherine space was wearing on her left chest.

Catherine was kind of cheeky in how she presented her special guest. It was just her first and then she so cutely told them in the children as who’s are somebody special here with me and it turned out to be so Andy Murray so I needless to say everybody was very excited. And law enforcement found that to be very effective in stopping some crimes. But that of course was done away with because human rights and all that stuff. So it stop and search was also used in the UK under the lockdown. 22,000 people have been stopped and searched. Now with Black Lives Matter and all the other issues are a cry a racial discrimination has been heard. Well here we have the Cambridge family desperately wanting to visit her Majesty the Queen. Yes yes yes the ability to go to the beach has been returned and they are taking full advantage of it by not going back home I just saw her sleeping on the beach. At a vegetable farm in Herefordshire, a large outbreak of COVID-19 has occurred amongst the seasonal workers. 73 people have been confirmed positive of having COVID-19.. The produce from this farm are sent to Tesco, Aldi ,Sainsbury’s, ASDA, etc all the usual food stores. so might start to see some empty bench shelves or a massive increase in price I’m not certain of that. this is no workers are all house in trailers. Masks, we have been been told not to wear them, they’re not helpful, then oh yes you must wear them. Them if you’re outside amongst fresh air you don’t need them and then oh, no you still need them as protecting you and protecting other people. I think we should all go back to , remember the bubble boy? from Seinfeld? like we should all get big bubbles and then we could just roll around in our bubbles and have like a hole for the bathroom, a hole for food. I guess it’s just crazy already. No now I’ve read and heard they’re making masks compulsory in for children. Try get a child to keep on a mask for more than 1/10th of a second or to wear it properly and avoid touching their face. Oh this is so unrealistic as we prepare to send our children back to school. I’m not being negative, I’m being realistic because you all know little children I mean we know how it is as an adult uncomfortable those masks are, children will have a tough time with that. I saw on the blog the other day somebody had a picture with a mask on their dog or was that it was a cat with a cat like wow I wonder how long the cat kept that mask on for.

The Glee actress ,Naja Rivera, her body is still missing and she is presumed dead. They’ve been dragging the lake and searching and searching but as yet have not found her body. It’s agony to look at the pictures of her mom and her ex-husband at the lake. There was even a video of her father just kind of losing it and running out into the lake is so sad. She must’ve been in a very bad way to leave a four-year-old child alone on the boat in the middle of the lake and have him witness her it must’ve been so traumatic and he’s old enough to know that those memories are going to be in there somewhere for that child.

House of M- Redone (part 4)

N/A: This idea came to me in a feverish dream. Ok, thank God I wasn´t with a fever...but the idea came as if I was so...anyway. I have an idea for the villain in this story, thank God again.

Genosha has rules. Genosha needs rules to function even though, some misguided people seem to relish on the illusion that "if you´re a mutant, you´ve got a free pass to do anything" which the royal family is doing their best to disprove that. King Magneto´s marks still can be felt and sometimes, only sometimes, the royal family has to admire the tenacity of their father. If nothing else.

Rules are needed and no one is above law. Kurt Wagner is one of those people that work to make sure power doesn´t corrupt, at the same time, making sure power doesn´t go impune. The Red Guard has a reason to exist and Kurt has reasons to fear excess of power.

If we ever oppress the oppressed ...how can we ever dare to call us as Red Guard?

Thankfully, right now, is one of those moments where his true nature shines. "Is everyone present?" his golden eyes goes to Bobby Drake, one of Piotr´s victims or almost victims, then goes to Kitty Pryde- too silent and too composed to let anyone read her expressions- and finally to Illyana Rasputin the sister of the culprit.

"I´m waiting for my lawyer" is Yana´s only replies and she´s a reward by Roberto da Costa entering in the main office of the Red Guard´s headquarters spotting an easygoing smile. Then his eyes lock on Yana and both start talking in a different language.

Kurt follows Kitty´s expression and it seems she´s lost as well. Roberto da Costa aka Sunspot is a lawyer and was born and raised in Brazil, therefore, is no wonder he´s speaking in his native language. His golden eyes watch the scene for a moment and land back to Kitty. She too appears to be clueless about what they´re saying.

Bobby Drake, however, seems to not mind this interaction.

"Ok, I´m apart of the situation" Roberto uses a more professional tone. "I´ll represent Yana, Kitty and Bobby" his eyes linger to the Ice mutant for a moment, asking for permission, and said mutant nods solemnly. "In regards to what just happened" and faces Kurt now. No more easy-going smiles.

Kurt can be professional as well. Is his job and his career. " Piotr Rasputin was arrested for attempted murder on Bobby Drake" the ice mutant is not happy about it and shows no inclination of forgiveness. "As well to Kitty Pryde" and Kitty looks too unreliable. He doubts even Kwannon would be able to get through her mind.

Maybe ...she´s from project X after all.

"The victims present charge against the mutant, but, no one here wishes him to spend his entire life in...Rockbell" Kurt concludes and Kitty looks at Yana only nodding softly. A message was sent and Kurt is clueless about it.

"No one here wants that, but, we want justice...so, what´s the alternatives?" Roberto begins with a very pointy inquiry. "The laws of Genosha are too absolute. So as everyone here already vetted out for Rockbell, the only remain options are Expulsion, blocking off their abilities, or SweetBells!" his tone is sharp and focus.

"And I ask you, Red Guard Nightcrawler if we really have any choice here"  Roberto tries again. Kurt sighs and is bound to speak the truth. If we oppress the oppressed ...what´s the point?

"Normally, that would be a choice linked only to the victims and the system, however, it comes to our attention that Piotr Rasputin has done something similar to a man named Pete Wisdom...while he was saved by a nick of time...is still an aggravating" and his golden eyes seem to shine even more in direction to Yana Rasputin. "His options are really trim here...your brother seems to have a severe anger issue and presents to be a problem to everyone around him"

Maybe it was harsh. But, also true.

Kitty rose from her chair in the exact moment Yana, muttering something in Russian, is hiding her face behind her hands. "Is my fault...I should have done something ...when Piotr tried to kill Pete...I was naive and stupid to think he would stop..." she confessed.

And Yana slams her fists on the table hard. Too hard to the point a crack is made. "Shut up, Katya. This is not your fault...if anything, it should be mine...I saw the signs...I saw what he was becoming but...I didn´t do anything" her tone is crestfallen for a moment until her eyes shimmer a hellish hue. "My brother has demons to face and that I can understand more than anyone in this room"

No one spoke against such a claim. Magik has a heavy story.

Roberto looks at Yana and nods. "A compromise can be made. Sent him to the SweetRock and his powers will be blocked until he´s deemed to be better. Justice will be served and everyone will be in agreement" Roberto suggests.

Bobby wants to complain. Bobby wanted to complain but Kitty´s eyes stop him.

"If that happens...your brother will be there for a long while" Kurt warned. The SweetRock doesn´t work like other institutions, Piotr may as well spend his entire life in that place.

"Yes, I know, and considering what he tried to do...that´s too good for him" Yana states. "Can I go see him? Can I show him how much this displease me?" her face twisted into something demonic and Kurt almost back down. Almost.

Kitty is the voice of reason. "Yana, don´t! Anger won´t solve more anger" and again, those two send secret messages and Kurt is curious about their past.

"If Katya says so...you feel safer this way? If you prefer him to be exiled and without powers...I´ll understand" Yana has to say it.

"I did consider this...but, no...SweetRock is a good option" for you, she mentally adds. The conversation is over.

"My client, Yana Rasputin may visit her brother in the facility?"

"Not after 2 months"

"That..." Yana nods at Roberto. "is agreeable"

And the conversation shifts to insurance policies. A mutant going crazy, for whatever reason, and trying to kill you does warrant you some compensation.

Once putting the laws aside, life goes on. Kitty is a teacher and has to continue to do her job. She can´t help feeling bad for Yana (imagine if your brother tried to kill two people in an angry fit!) and won´t lie by saying Piotr deserved worse, however, she wouldn´t dare to inflict more pain in Yana´s life.

Her nose tracks the strong scent of brimstone and turns right to see Nightcrawler again. "Hello?"

Nightcrawler is still with his uniforms. Kitty can look at him up and down and understand why he´s so popular, yet not understand why he´s here of all places.

"I came here to see you...Before the fiasco with Piotr...I wanted to tell you the Juggernaut´s case has been dealt...he won´t cause any trouble ever again" there´s conviction in his tone. Sure, Kitty will be thankful.

Kitty blinks at this and then snaps her fingers. "Oh, yes. I completely forget about this, thanks...I guess."

She...forget?

"And I´m also here to ask you..." and Kurt believes the best defense is a quick attack. "if you´re a subject from the program X"

Kitty is deadpan staring at him. Too pointy and too bemused for his like.

"No, actually I was part of the program WXYZ" and stares at him pointy.

"You´re making fun of me...aren´t you?"

"One of many qualities I learn in the WXZY is subtle" and wink at him.

"So...you´re not from Program X?"

And Kitty chuckles leaving Kurt behind. She needs to laugh. Kurt can pick a new theory.

Wanda Maximoff is one of the most powerful mutants in the world. A fact no one let her forget and also, a fact that often comes with lots of burdens. One of its perks though is how no one would dare to pick a fight with her. Not that Polaris and Quicksilver aren´t powerful, but, the Scarlet Witch is another level.

However, as she stares at the lifeless body of her biological father-Magento and her may share DNA. Django Maximoff is the one who raised her and is her and Pietro´s father for real- Wanda can´t help by biting her bottom lip and let her eyes be as crimson as the moniker Scarlet Witch suggests.

Lorna is the one to break the silence. "So, is really not Wakanda or Atlantis that is after us..."

Pietro looks down at his biological father- Django is his father for real- not daring to touch the body. Not daring to speak ill about the dead either. "...There´s a message here" and is no metaphor.

There´s a small message next to Magneto´s body.

Wanda waits for Pietro to read for them.

"I´m back to return what´s mine"

And Lorna´s eyes wide. "Wait...how many people know about the real history of Genosha?"

"Few people and fewer are still alive...Another case of Dad´s henchmen wanting revenge" Wanda is not happy. "And if they plan on attacking Genosha...it means they´re tired of living" is her final words as she uses her magic to change the coffin in something more proper to Magneto. "We have a funeral to do. Our Jewish father deserves this much"
