Matt walks into the room, shutting the door behind him with a soft click. He lets out an exasperated sigh, rolling his eyes as if the long week has finally caught up with him.

Without saying a word, he heads to the bed and flops onto it, the mattress sinking beneath his weight. He runs a hand through his hair, then lets his body relax, lying there quietly with his gaze fixed on the ceiling, clearly exhausted from everything.

I pat the empty spot on my lap, offering him a comforting place to rest. He glances up at me, his expression softening as he shuffles closer, his movements slow and tired. Finally, he settles in, laying his head on my lap with a contented sigh.

As he relaxes, I begin to gently run my fingers through his soft brown hair, feeling the smooth strands slide between my fingers. I trace small circles along his scalp, massaging away the tension that seems to have built up over the week.

Each pass of my hand is slow and deliberate, aiming to soothe him, while the warmth of his presence in such close proximity brings a sense of calm to us both.

"I love you so much," he whispered, his voice barely audible as his eyes fluttered closed, a deep sigh of contentment escaping his lips.

His expression softened, as if just saying those words brought him some peace.

"I love you too, Matt," I replied softly, my fingers continuing their gentle motion through his hair.

"Is everything alright? Can you tell me what happened?" my voice was filled with concern as I searched his face for any hint of what might be bothering him, hoping he would open up and share what was on his mind.

It was the beginning of a rainy autumn, and the storm had arrived with full force. Raindrops pounded against the bedroom windows, their rhythm steady and powerful, adding to the cozy atmosphere of the evening.

We were at my flat, having decided to spend the entire weekend unwinding and catching up on much-needed sleep after a long week.

Matt had stepped out of the room a while ago after getting a call from his brother, Chris. When he returned, it was clear that whatever Chris had said had put Matt in a bit of a bad mood, the weight of the conversation lingering on his face.

"Thank God I have a best friend like you," Matt said with a relieved smile. "I don’t know what I would’ve done if I had to spend my free time with someone who was just like my brothers."

His words made my heart ache. Being called his 'best friend' felt like a reminder of the boundaries between us, especially since we had never shared a kiss or any romantic moments.

Despite this, I couldn’t help but hope for something more. We often acted like a couple, and his jealousy would surface whenever another guy was around me. It was a confusing mix of signals, leaving me to wonder if he felt more than he let on.

"My frustrating brothers always expect me to drop whatever I’m doing to come pick them up and be their chauffeur. It really gets on my nerves. I’ve told them that I’ve had a rough week and just want to relax with you, watch movies, eat, and unwind, but they don’t seem to understand that." he says, clearly frustrated, as he shifts closer and nestles his head into the crook of my neck, planting a soft kiss just below my ear.

The warmth of his breath against my skin sends a shiver down my spine. I can’t help but giggle, trying to wriggle away from his affectionate gesture, but he firmly places his hands on my waist, gently holding me in place and preventing me from escaping.

I continue to absentmindedly ruffle his hair, my gaze drifting to the rain-soaked window. My thoughts wander as I recall the countless times Nick has assured me that Matt likes me back. But despite the mixed signals I sometimes get, I’m almost certain he doesn’t see me that way.

I’ve overheard him telling his friends on more than one occasion that there’s nothing romantic between us and that we’re better off as just friends. Each time, it stung like hell, but I knew I had to move on. Losing him as a friend was something I couldn’t bear, he’s been so amazing to me.

"Mmph, hey, why did you stop?" he murmured, lifting his head to look at me, his eyes searching mine.

God, he was so beautiful. His defined jawline and sharp cheekbones framed his face perfectly, and his lips, plump and pink were undeniably inviting.

Strands of his fluffy hair fell slightly over his eyes, which were the most mesmerizing shade of ocean blue. I could easily get lost in them, forgetting everything else around me.

Before I could even gather my thoughts to respond, he leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to my cheek, his lips lingering for a moment before he pulled back with a wide, playful smile.

"Hey, Y/N, what’s wrong? What are you thinking about?" he asked, his voice gentle, filled with genuine concern, as his eyes continued to search mine, trying to read what was going on in my head.

"Nothing’s wrong, Matt. I was just thinking about us and how lucky I am to have you in my life. You’re so good to me, and sometimes I can’t believe I’m friends with someone as amazing as you,’ I replied, leaning in to plant a soft kiss on his nose before turning my attention to the big screen in front of us.

"So, what do you think about watching Gilmore Girls?" I suggested, glancing back at him with a smile. "I think it’s the perfect choice for this weather and the cozy atmosphere we’ve got going on."

He seemed to ponder it for a moment, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "Hmm, I’m not sure, that’s a really tough choice. You know how much I absolutely love that show," he teased with a playful grin. I laughed, unable to resist his charm, and gave him a light poke in the chest.

"Alright, decision made, asshole." I said, grabbing the remote and putting the show on. The familiar theme song started playing as we both settled in, ready to enjoy the cozy evening together.

"Why would you say something like that? I’m not an asshole," he laughed, playfully nudging me as he settled in beside me. His laughter was infectious, and I couldn’t help but smile as we both got comfortable, turning our attention to the episode as it began.

"You’re an asshole . . . my asshole," I teased, giving his shoulder a playful kiss before turning my attention back to the episode.

As the show continued, I could feel his gaze on me, his eyes lingering even though I kept my focus on the screen. Despite the warmth of his look, I chose to stay quiet, letting the comfortable silence envelop us as we watched together.

"Hmm, you’re really pretty," Matt said softly, pressing a gentle kiss to my forehead and resting my head on his shoulder as we cuddled together.

"You think I’m pretty, Matthew?" I asked, biting my lip and giving him a playful, seductive glance. His eyes met mine with a sincere look. "The prettiest," he responded.

"As I gently rubbed his cheek with the pad of my thumb, we fell into a comfortable silence, our eyes locked in a quiet exchange.

It felt as though time had slowed down, with only the two of us existing in that moment, two souls on the edge of something deeper. His presence was soothing and reassuring, and I could feel a profound connection forming between us.

When he kissed the corner of my mouth, his familiar scent enveloped me, adding to the warmth of his embrace. I cherished every detail about him and the way he made me feel.

"If it makes you feel any better, Matthew, I think you’re the most handso—" he cut me off by pressing his lips firmly against mine, leaving me in stunned silence for a few seconds as the intensity of the kiss took me by surprise.

I regained my composure and kissed him back, my hands cupping his cheeks as our mouths moved together. I was entirely wrapped up in the moment with him, feeling his warmth and the intensity of our connection as we made out.

He shifted us so that I was on top of him, his hands exploring my body with a renewed urgency. His left hand slid up and down my back, while his right hand moved to gently squeeze my ass.

A soft moan escaped my lips into his mouth as I began to grind against him. His breaths quickened, and he gasped softly as his kisses trailed down to my neck.

He continued to guide my movements, helping me find a rhythm as we both started to pant heavily. After a few intense moments, we pulled away, both of us breathing heavily and trying to catch our breath.

We gazed at each other, smiling like two kids who had just received their favorite treat.

'Oh well, that was intense,' he said softly, sliding his hand under my shirt to continue rubbing my back in soothing circles.

"I'm afraid we can't do that again, Matt. We're just friends, after all, aren't we?" I said, trying to bring some clarity to the situation.

"So you heard that?" he asked, surprise evident in his voice.

"It was hard not to." I replied, rolling my eyes at the clear-cut nature of it.

"I'm sorry, baby. I asked Nick if you liked me back, but he kept telling me to ask you directly. I was too nervous to handle the possibility of rejection. The thought of it hurt too much" he confessed, closing the distance between us again and pressing a tender kiss to my lips.

"I wouldn't have rejected you, Matt, because I feel the same way. It was really upsetting when I overheard you telling our friends that you didn't have feelings for me" I admitted, the hurt still evident in my voice.

"I knew they'd end up telling you, y/n, and I just couldn't bear the thought of being rejected and embarrassed. They hinted that you had feelings for someone else, and that I would have to figure things out on my own" he explained.

I sighed, frustrated with our friends for their lack of intervention. It seemed they had enjoyed watching our back-and-forth without stepping in to help us navigate our feelings.

It felt as though they relished our struggle to make sense of everything while staying silent about their role in it.

"Weirdos" he muttered with a shake of his head.

His phone rang once more, and he answered with a hint of exasperation.

"No, just take an Uber and leave me alone. I’m occupied right now," he said, rubbing his forehead in frustration.

After hanging up, he set his phone down on the nightstand with a sigh.

"Let me guess—Chris called, wanting you to pick him up?" I asked.

He gave a weary nod and then adjusted himself to pull me closer, wrapping his arms around me as we settled in to watch the rest of the episode together.

As the minutes ticked by, his attention drifted from the screen, and he began to gaze at me again. I smiled and gently reminded him, "Matt, the show" hoping to draw his focus back to the TV.

"Honestly, I couldn’t care less about the show right now" he said, his tone dripping with playful indifference.

I raised an eyebrow and asked, "And what would you like us to do, Matthew?"

His eyes sparkled with mischief as he considered his response. "Hmm, I can think of a few ways we could make better use of our time" he replied, his voice low and suggestive.

Before I could react, he gently rolled us over, positioning himself above me. He began trailing a series of soft, open-mouthed kisses along my neck and shoulders.

Each kiss was slow and deliberate, sending a warm, electrifying sensation through me. His lips lingered on my skin, his touch both tender and teasing, creating an atmosphere charged with intimacy and anticipation as he continued to explore and savor the moment.

Tips: 1) Visit the OP's profiles! They usually post more than the one photo you can see in a thumbnail. And it's easier to browse & save pics through the profile.

2) Even though you can scroll the pics tab indefinitely, without a weibo account you won't be able to easily access older posts, as they'll get buried under the user's newer posts (there's a roundabout way mentioned in my guide). So I recommend to visit this tag frequently, if you wanna be sure nothing is hidden away 🔍 Daily or once in a 2-3 days will be enough imo, it's not very crowded tag ^^

3) ⬆You can also check videos in this tag, the orange tab has 10 most recent clips from the musical (other one has the most popular ones).

接着奏乐接着舞Musicals (Encore Musicals) <- official profile of a theatre that runs LC stage, they post the cast schedules, photos/behind the scenes clips, whenever new actor debuts, there's a special guests or a cast member has a birthday. They also report when an actor goes on a health break. Tip: all LC actors can be found in the pinned post (you'd need OCR 'image-text' tool to copy their names from pics though)

A few actors for supporting cast don't have a tag bc they seem to be newbie actors and/or have very small online presence

Tips: 1) Without a weibo account you can scroll through the actor's tag only up to abt 45 most recent posts. The actors perform in multiple plays (duh) so non-LC photos will show up too.

2) Imo the most optimal method, so the limits won't stop you is: go to the main 'LC musical' tag and see what's new. Check schedule for the cast lineup in a recent performance. Go to the actors' tags to see what's new.

3) Sometimes there are 2 performances on a same day, with different actors. So don't be surprised if you find mixed lineups under one date.

4) Mostly QL and Lin Zhen's actresses post behind the scenes photos on their personal profiles. Don't bother looking up the guys accounts, unless it's a holiday or their b-day >< From what I remember, only Wu Yihan posts abt his cat. Zhang Jiahao and Zhou Bobo post selfies sometimes. Ji Xiaokun posts his own photography (he's good!).

5) Google translate, however broken, is enough to translate the captions, so use it for context✨Ppl sometimes give their reviews titled 'repos' from the stage they've seen 🙏

6) You'll find more musical related clips under the actor's tag, than in 'LC musical' main tag. It's usually in an actor's fancam, but not always. Useful when you like an actor or there was a particular moment you want to see from a different angle🌟👌

7) The clips tab (one in the middle) under the actor's tag has no time limited access. You can browse and watch the videos without issues!
