LOL. Elon Musk is a “genius” “inventor”…… Pfft. More like, “Elon Musk is a racist, lying ass techno-grifter who fleeces his customers and endangers people’s lives”
And I don’t remember volunteering to risk my life to be a beta-tester for Musk’s “full self driving” lie, either
Anyway, this latest revelation feels like it should be a massive crime. Hopefully Phony Stark will be held accountable and prosecuted

U.S. Launches Investigation into 2.4 Million Tesla Vehicles After Accidents
The U.S. government is checking out Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) software more closely. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has kicked off an investigation into 2.4 million Teslas after four accidents were reported. One of those crashes was deadly, and that’s got people really worried about how safe the tech actually is. What Prompted the Investigation? The NHTSA is…

Tesla Model 3 ‘Highland’ Facelift Full Autopilot at RM250k
Just like the Model Y, when it comes to driver aids Autopilot is included but upgrading the Tesla 3 to Enhanced Autopilot costs RM16,000 and Full Self-Driving is RM32,000. That’s a total of RM250k for the Model 3 with full self-driving capacity. Expensive! In Singapore, where you can get fined if you did not vote in yesterday’s Presidential elections, it is cheaper to buy a Tesla. Tesla Model…

Highway surveillance footage from Thanksgiving Day shows a Tesla Model S vehicle changing lanes and then abruptly braking in the far-left lane of the San Francisco Bay Bridge, resulting in an eight-vehicle crash. The crash injured nine people, including a 2-year-old child, and blocked traffic on the bridge for over an hour.
The video and new photographs of the crash, which were obtained by The Intercept via a California Public Records Act request, provides the first direct look at what happened, confirming witness accounts of what happened at the time. The driver told police that he had been using Tesla’s new “Full Self-Driving” feature, the report notes, before the Tesla’s “left signal activated” and its “brakes activated,” and it moved into the left lane, “slowing to a stop directly in [the second vehicle’s] path of travel.”

Tesla's Full Self-Driving system is far from flawless — and it's certainly not autonomous, because it needs to be constantly monitored by a human driver. That being said, you might expect it to do more than literally nothing when encountering an animal in the road. As spotted by Jalopnik, a video shared on X-formerly-Twitter shows dashcam footage of a Tesla Model 3 moments before absolutely obliterating a deer at full speed that wandered into traffic, with the vehicle making no attempt to slow down. The uploader, who goes by Paul S, says his car was using Full Self-Driving mode at the time. What's even more baffling, according to him, is that the driving assistance software didn't stop after the collision. Instead, it kept steaming ahead as if nothing happened. -"Huge surprise after getting a dozen of false stops every day!" Paul wrote.
Video is cut right before sensitive things appear on screen. Safe to watch. pic.twitter.com/FaXD6Gr68S — Paul S (@TheSeekerOf42) October 28, 2024

US to probe Tesla's 'Full Self-Driving' system
DETROIT (AP) — The U.S. government’s road safety agency is investigating Tesla’s “Full Self-Driving” system after getting reports of crashes in low-visibility conditions, including one that killed a pedestrian. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said in documents that it opened the probe on Thursday after the company reported four crashes when Teslas encountered sun glare, fog and…

2024 Mercedes-AMG GLB 35: Road Testing in the Malibu Hills
We admit the Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 isn’t quite as sleek and sexy-looking as its sibling, the GLA, but when you’re at the controls of the compact sports utility, it immediately ceases to matter. The influx of 300+ horsepower is the biggest reason. Suddenly, you’re not operating a mundane grocery-getter, but instead, you find yourself piloting an agile, goes-where-you-point-it sports sedan that just…

Tesla’s Full Self-Driving System: A Lifesaving Journey
Introduction In the realm of automotive innovation, few names resonate as powerfully as Tesla. The electric vehicle (EV) giant, led by the enigmatic Elon Musk, has consistently pushed the boundaries of what’s possible on the road. But it’s not just about sleek designs, ludicrous acceleration, or zero emissions. Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) system has quietly been making waves, and its impact…

That “recall” is misleading. They’re basically giving a software update and calling it a recall so US and Chinese authorities stop bugging Tesla about their full self driving stuff.
It’s not actually taking the cars back and changing everything, since as long as you didn’t trust the FSD feature in the first place, it literally will never affect you.
As for the new CEO, she IS an alt right trump supporter, but a bunch of those guys hate her because she was very pro-vaccine.
So I’m addition to being thrown into the deep end of corporate governance, this poor woman is set up to be hated by EVERYONE.
So yeah, Elon’s a bastard, but this shit is slightly more complicated than you’d think.
Tempted to think of this merely as another stage of "What Fresh Hell Is This."
