The entire Justice League have been on edge lately watching as a giant creature the size of planet dart around the Milky Way galaxy in an almost panicked state. Despite it's very appearent size it hasn't done anything harmful, passing through planets and stars with intangibility.

Constantine on the other hand was freaking the fuck out. There was a giant realms being with a crazy amount of power searching for something and it felt like the universe itself was holding its breath. He was honestly at his witts end when he felt it.

"YOU! What do you have?" He stopped his pacing to look at Batman's traffic light child.

"That's none of your concern." Robin snapped back.

"Robin." Batman's voice cut through their little conversation. By now every JL memeber was watching them.

"It's nothing–"

"Oh yes it is, now let me see it."

As if on que a tiny glowing humanoid creature popped into view ontop of Robin's head cooing and making warbled noises.

Constantine paled.

Robin took the being from his head and held it in his arms, pulling out a batarang and giving it to the thing which then began to bite it.

"Robin." Batman started, voice firm but sounding tired.

"This one found me first." He countered.

"It doesn't matter how you found it, we need to–" Constantine's words were cut off as the large creature released a noise that sounded almost like a whale but something like warbled speech mixed into it. What happened next sent his heartbeat into a marathon and his stomach to a deep trench.

Robin's little creature stopped chewing on its toy and responded with a cry of its own.

Welp they were fucked now.

The large creature's head snapped to their direction, eyes directly on the watchtower as if it could perfectly see them from such a distance and sped towards their location.

Need me a fic where Captain Marvel’s identity is revealed and Billy just starts running from all these heroes trying to parent him.

And it isn’t just the Justice League…

YJ would do anything for that man (boy?), at least after they get over the fact their father figure is actually younger than them.

The Titans bout to have Raven pull up the ancient scrolls to find a way to summon the Champion of Magic. (They are also trying to get over the fact that their father figure is younger than them)

The Outlaws are definitely ready to fight every other superhero team for him. (And, you guessed it! They are also trying to get over the fact their father figure is younger than them)

Meanwhile Billy is just like: “first CPS, now this? How does one get 50 different superheroes off their back?”

Barry was hungry. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, as he could just grab some snacks from the kitchen, but he was watching a movie, and he was comfy. He really, really didn’t want to try and wriggle back to where he was now

“Phantom?” he called out hopefully.

A white glove emerged from the wall behind him, dropping an unopened bag of chips on top of his head. When Barry reached up to grab it, he saw that it was salt and vinegar, which explained why it was still uneaten. Phantom seemed to refuse those chips under all circumstances.

Barry didn’t really get it, because salt and vinegar was awesome, but that didn’t really matter. The point was, Phantom was a great person, even if he probably wasn’t human, and it didn’t matter if Barry hadn’t ever actually seen more of him than his arm, and he had told Barry his name by leaving a piece of paper on a table when he turned his back for three seconds after asking if there was a name for the ‘friend in the walls’, as Wally had called him.

“Thanks, Phantom!” The hand stuck itself out the wall again, forming a thumbs up.

Diana had found a bit of a problem. It wasn’t a big one, and was honestly more of an annoyance than anything, but her paper copy of Earth’s current standing with all known alien civilization was missing. She could get access to it again in a few hours, once the security upgrade to their computers was finished, but she had been intending to review it for a few weeks now and could use the extra time. 

An idea came to her suddenly, and Diana quietly asked, “Phantom? Are you here?” In answer, a chilly breeze blew through her hair. He was, then. “By any chance, would you happen to have seen my copy of th-” Interrupting her, the very papers she was looking for appeared out of nowhere on her desk. A green sticky note was stuck to it, reading ‘This? Sorry for taking it, but it was really interesting’

Diana smiled, hopefully in the ghosts direction. “Yes, that. If you want, I could see if I could get you your own copy?” Another green sticky note appeared on top of the first, this one just oozing the feeling of happiness. ‘YES PLEASE!!!’

Bruce… didn’t really know what to do about the teenager floating just outside the Watchtower. He looked like Phantom, from the few times anyone had actually seen the ghost, and he appeared to be enjoying himself in the vacuum outside instead of dying painfully, which was another point of evidence for that theory. Unsure of what else he could do, he knocked on the window on the off chance that he could get Phantom’s attention that way.

The ghost immediately vanished from view, and a strong, freezing cold breze blew in from the direction of the window Phantom had been outside. Bruce shivered violently from the unexpected chill.

Next time he would leave Phantom alone. Being out in space seemed to make him happy, and it was best not ruin that.

was reading a TimKon fic and just realized how fucking DISGUSTING tactile telekinesis is like the versatility and sheer potential of it is INSANE and genuinely baffling how next to nobody is ranting about it dflkgljfdg.

Due to reading that masterpiece, I've come up with AUs.

Villain!Kon Au where he's fighting the team while robbing like idk a jewelry store and they don't know his identity so no kryptonite and he just??? makes them get stuck to the floor??? and has them sit down and wait until he's like done robbing the place and just leaves????

+ He somehow ends up in the Watchtower and is like to the Justice League "Can you let me go home before I make this place fold itself in half I'm out past curfew" The League says fuck it and lets him leave bc they are NOT dealing with the damage reparations

Luther!Kon Au where he's more like Lex than he is Supes (his eyes are gray and he has mad scientist tendencies) instead uses his powers so creatively and subtly as a new hero where no one makes the connection that he's Superman's clone. He's also crushing mad on Bruce Wayne's 3rd kid and it's causing Lex to #suffer because Kon his perfect child is obsessed with the (adopted) spawn of Brucie Wayne- the bane of his existence at sociallite parties.

+ Tim panicking at a gala because Conner Luthor is approaching him and whydoeshekindoflooklikeSuperman???

Non-Clone!Kon Au where Lex keeps failing at making clones so he decides to kidnap an orphan who looks like Superman and experiments on him until he gets TTK to be able to give the illusion that Conner has Superman's abilities

+ I feel like Supes would be nicer to him bc yk.. Kon isn't a clone of him and sorta looks like him so Clark is like "oh well! he's mine now"

+ Kon is def kinda traumatized so maybe he's more aggressive/reserved like Kon from Young Justice

+ Everyone assumes Kon is half Kryptonian and acc Superman's kid bc yk they look alike (and Kon uses TTK for flight, invulnerability, super strength, and speed) and Kon is called Superboy so when YJ fights against ppl with Kryptonite and the enemies use it on Kon but Kon is like "??? is this supposed to do something" and beats them and after the mission he's like to everyone during mission report: ".... you know I'm not actually supermans kid right???" cue shock of the century and Tim panicking because this means half of the contingency plans and info the Bats have relating to Kon is useless.

Deranged!Kon Au where Kon is slightly less of a Hero and more of an Anti-Hero who is aware of how dangerous TTK can be. He like,, is saving someone and let's say it was attempted assault so he dgaf about the perpetrator's well-being so he just uses TTK and damages the guy's internal organs beyond saving and the rest of the League can't do shit bc they have no proof it was him

Super Brain Dead

Danny always hoped his soulmates wouldn’t hate him. as the experiments continued, all he could do was pray and hope that his soulmates would not hate him and curse himself for getting caught by the GIW.

They were in the middle of another experiment on him when the alarms sounded. Danny was aware of agents rushing around and yelling, but he could barely focus through the pain.

The door was busted down, and he could barely make out the members of the justice league. He mostly focused on red hood, the EO signature, toxic, but real. He winced as red hood undid some of his bindings, not noticing how red hood’s eyes went wide at the side of the injuries.

Red Hood picked him up bridal style before tapping his helmet.*Guys, I think I found Red Robin and Superboy’s soulmate* was the last thing Danny heard before he slipped off into unconsciousness.

What if...

Clockwork leaves de-aged baby/toddler Danny in the hands of one of the young/teen super hero teams?

I want a team of supers (either Young Just Us or Teen Titans) attempting to raise baby Phantom without the Adult JL or JLD members findng out Three Men and a Baby style.

Bonus points if it's the 3 Ds who are de-aged into babies/toddlers

A trope I don’t see often is Danny as Klarion and Nabu’s dad. Can you imagine your normal summoning au, the JL want help with Klarion. He’s out of control! He seperate d the kids and adults into seperate worlds, joined the Light, and is an overall pest. So they summon the Ghost King, expecting him to get rid of Klarion for them. But the JL has a big problem that they didn’t see beforehand. Not only will Danny not help the JL, he proclaims them as a team of Order and that the world needs more chaos. So he helps Klarion to be a pest, and causes chaos, the only way a Fenton can. This makes the JL super upset, but they can’t do a damn thing about it, because Danny is as powerful as God and can sense the JL/YJ/TT before they even get close to him and vanishes, to reappear on the other side of the world in the next second. Rinse and repeat.

Ghost king danny but instead of using the crown of fire he uses a buger king crown. Maybe because he finds it funny maybe to be petty because he doesn't want to be the ghost king.

Just imagine someone summons the ghost king and some lanky teen shows up in a burger king crown.

GRIPS YOU. Okay I have like a million AUs already but I have. One that's on my brain half the time

The au is based heavily around Batman: Arkham Knight, and it's essentially an au where Dick gets the Arkhamverse Jason Todd treatment and becomes the Arkham Knight!

It's a fun au idea, essentially I was thinking like,, "What would push Dick into going full villain mode?" And I looked at Arkham Knight and went ooooh,, that's a fun idea! I'm putting venomous spiders in his terrarium basically.

Overall the AU is pretty self explanatory: Dick gets captured by the Joker, is tortured and brainwashed for over a year to 2 years straight, and comes out murderous as hell. Overall not too different from the game. There ARE important differences though, like exactly how I imagine Dick gets captured.

Some inspirations for the au are: Joker: Last Laugh, Grayson: Futures End, as well as Devin Graysons run with the whole Blockbuster stuff, and the Ric Grayson arc.

Okay, SO!! Why and how Dick gets captured is a bit complex. The au takes place not long after Dick gets his memories back from the whole Ric arc- which is actually kinda important here??

Joker was very much inspired by the short time he had Dick Grayson brainwashed and under his control. It was very fun and very fascinating to him to see him fight the rest of the batfamily, and incredibly disappointing when Dick broke out of his control. From this, he got an idea- an incredibly horrible idea. Why not just torture poor Dickie into doing what he wants? Why not twist and turn this little Butcherbird against the family he loves so dearly?

Because there is nothing more devastating to Dick Grayson than to hurt the people he loves. To turn against the morals Batman drilled into him- and, well, Joker already pushed him into breaking that code once before, he can certainly do it again.

And that's where Joker gets the idea to capture Dick, to torture and brainwash him. Joker isn't an idiot, he knows how resilient Dick is. Dick is practically a diamond, he formed under pressure. But even diamonds have their limits, and Joker fully intends to find it.

Joker keeps an eye on the birds and bats of Gotham, even when they've flown the nest, so he pulls some inspiration from Blockbuster, and uses his own past experiences to push Dick just enough to come after him. Joker knows full well that targeting those he loves pushes Dick over the edge, pushes him to kill- after all, supposedly killing Tim and even mentioning Jason made Dick beat him to death. And everyone knows about Dicks rampage through Blockbusters ranks, and how he was an accomplice to the crime lords murder. So, well- why not target those that Dick Grayson cares about- but specifically the most defenseless people he loves?

After regaining his memory, in the AU, Dick goes back to teaching classes of children Gymnastics and Acrobatics. And Joker finds this out, pulls some strings, slaughters the children and stitches them all together like Frankenstein. Maybe he even pins the blame on Dick.

And it's pretty clearly targeted- and Dick doesn't know why, but he doesn't care. These were children- just little kids he knew. It's a horrific reminder of what happened with Blockbuster, except almost worse. And Dick is fucking furious; it's the Joker, he made it obvious, and Dick wasn't there and he could've stopped it. It's horrific, beyond it, and all he can think is- if Joker stayed dead, this wouldn't have happened.

This was his fault; and he needs to rectify it. And Arkham won't keep Joker for long, it never does.

And Joker gets exactly what he wanted; Nightwing coming after him, wanting him dead, not thinking straight with all the trauma and horrific reminders.

And Dick hunts him down; it's reckless, he goes it alone, and this is fully on purpose. Dick intends to kill the Joker, but he doesn't intend on coming back out alive. It's a suicide mission, one that he doesn't tell anyone about because he knows they'll stop him.

And, stripped of any trackers, comms, anything that could be used to find him, he tracks Joker down to Arkham Asylum. He never gets to kill the Joker, but he doesn't come back out, anyways. Not until nearly 2 years later.

For the first 6 months, the Batfamily as well as the Titans and even the Justice League try to look for Nightwing, but to no avail. They have no idea where he went, where he disappeared at- there's no trail to look for or follow. And, of course, the last place they'd look is Arkham Asylum, if it's even on the list of places to look in the first place.

The entire time, Dick is being tortured- he comes very close to escaping a few times, but it's hard to escape with your ankle broken and being injured and tortured and starved constantly.

And then- the batfamily gets The Video, and upon genuinely thinking Dick is dead... they stop looking.

And, after months, Dick completely loses hope. He's resilient, yes, but not unbreakable, and eventually he breaks enough to do anything for less pain, for some kind of reprieve from this hell- even killing. And it only breaks him down further, and before he knows it, it's nearly been two years, and he feels more about the rewards he gets than the blood on his hands.

And then- Dick escapes, during some chaos that happens in an Arkham breakout (or was it an attack? Dick has no idea). He escapes on his own (or rather, the Joker let's him run, but Dick doesn't know that), and in his angry, hurt, deeply traumatized state, doesn't go to the batfamily or his friends or anyone.

Instead, Slade finds him during one of his contracts in Gotham. Dick is hardly even a shell of his former self; he's stick thin, broken and bloody, covered in filth and a threadbare Arkham inmate uniform, head constantly bowed and almost too weak to stand. Despite all that, though, there's still a defiant glint in Dicks eye, saying "I dare you" even though he's no more threatening than a kitten at the moment.

And Slade is fascinated by this development, especially after some poking and prodding. The brainwashing runs deep, and it's present in just about every action Dick takes, every little decision he makes. He's never seen a torture victim in such an awful state, and he's never seen such thorough brainwashing. Slade is fascinated, and finds himself pitying the state Dick is in. Nightwing, the seemingly unbreakable man with an unbreakable resolve, and he's bowed at his feet, speaking in broken whispers about how he wants to kill the Batman and tear Gotham asunder.

So who can blame him if he picks up Dick Grayson and ships him off to Venezuela after he gets done with his contract? No one needs to know about his vested interest in this broken man, to see what he'll do once he's back in shape. And besides, seeing Dick Grayson like that was the worst kind of uncanny valley Slades ever experienced. Who's bright idea was it to turn Nightwing into a violent, borderline sociopathic killing machine while keeping him too broken to actually do anything? Oh, right. Stupid clown. Well, at least it's interesting to Slade.

And Dick pours every ounce of his being into physical therapy and then training. He plans and strategizes and plans some more.

I'll leave this here for now since this post is getting fucking LONG- and honestly you can guess the rest of what happens in the au. There are a few differences in the au, like Dick having electrified swords on his back, Dick revealing himself earlier, the Titans being involved when the Militia invades, Dick actually almost succeeding because he plans REALLY well and only failing because he's unable to pull the trigger, that sort of thing.

I'm also still considering what happens after the invasion, when Dick runs, so that's a WIP.

And before anyone tries saying "oh Dick would never do that, that's ooc and this au sucks"- a) it's an au and b) brainwashing is hard as SHIT to break, especially when the person you're working with is actively encouraging it. And I know characters like the Supers could've found Dick, but let's pretend they couldn't for the sake of Plot Reasons. After all, it'd be a boring au if it ended immediately when they got involved lol.

danny inherited the abysmal driving skills of his parents. the people in amity park are used to it though so this wouldn't be such a problem if he hadn't started learning to create portals recently, as seen when he opened a portal under his car while driving to avoid crashing into someone else while pursued by the GIW (sue him, it was a stressful situation). jazz is passed out right next to him, sam and tucker are screaming in the backseat while dani's cackling between them, adrenaline junkie that she is. the car is falling into the ghost zone and right out of another natural portal. they land right in front of a group of weirdos dressed in colourful costumes.

"... the only reason why i'm not killing you a second time is because this city looks super goth," says sam, waving the fenton thermos threateningly.

"there's nothing stopping me," mutters tucker, eyeing the costumed people warily.

danny squirms. "well, at least the GIW can't get us there?"
