I cannot possibly express how amazing it feels to get repeat commenters on a fanfic. When I was writing my first long form fanfic last spring I could have dedicated it to my first reader, that's how inspired I felt that they commented so consistently.

I remember having the slightly hysterical thought that *I* should check to see if *they* had a Kofi so that I could donate to it since they were the reason my fanfic got finished so quickly.

logan looking at wade appraisingly on the bench when wade asks if he’ll see logan around. logan wondering if he really means it or if it’s just a thing he says to everyone instead of saying goodbye. logan taking the same road he always does and leaving wade behind the same way he leaves everyone behind. convincing himself it’s better for wade if he leaves him there on the bench, not wanting him to see the real mess that is logan, just to remember the hero instead.

wade doubling down, calling after logan. logan stopping in his tracks, because when he leaves, people always just let him. no one wants him around enough to ask him to stay twice. they say it once, in the heat of the moment, and then think better of it. or they don’t think better of it, and they end up dead. but not wade. wade can’t die. and there he is, calling after logan a second time, asking if he can introduce him to his roommate, to all his friends who they just saved the universe for.

logan looking at wade with wonder in his eyes as he introduces logan to althea. the soft smile that creeps onto his face from just looking at him. the determination to be on his best behavior, to not fuck it up with the people wade cares so much about. the hope that he can earn his place among them. the searing, painful, hopeful feeling that floods his chest when he realizes, after 200 years, that someone finally brought him home.

Barry was hungry. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, as he could just grab some snacks from the kitchen, but he was watching a movie, and he was comfy. He really, really didn’t want to try and wriggle back to where he was now

“Phantom?” he called out hopefully.

A white glove emerged from the wall behind him, dropping an unopened bag of chips on top of his head. When Barry reached up to grab it, he saw that it was salt and vinegar, which explained why it was still uneaten. Phantom seemed to refuse those chips under all circumstances.

Barry didn’t really get it, because salt and vinegar was awesome, but that didn’t really matter. The point was, Phantom was a great person, even if he probably wasn’t human, and it didn’t matter if Barry hadn’t ever actually seen more of him than his arm, and he had told Barry his name by leaving a piece of paper on a table when he turned his back for three seconds after asking if there was a name for the ‘friend in the walls’, as Wally had called him.

“Thanks, Phantom!” The hand stuck itself out the wall again, forming a thumbs up.

Diana had found a bit of a problem. It wasn’t a big one, and was honestly more of an annoyance than anything, but her paper copy of Earth’s current standing with all known alien civilization was missing. She could get access to it again in a few hours, once the security upgrade to their computers was finished, but she had been intending to review it for a few weeks now and could use the extra time. 

An idea came to her suddenly, and Diana quietly asked, “Phantom? Are you here?” In answer, a chilly breeze blew through her hair. He was, then. “By any chance, would you happen to have seen my copy of th-” Interrupting her, the very papers she was looking for appeared out of nowhere on her desk. A green sticky note was stuck to it, reading ‘This? Sorry for taking it, but it was really interesting’

Diana smiled, hopefully in the ghosts direction. “Yes, that. If you want, I could see if I could get you your own copy?” Another green sticky note appeared on top of the first, this one just oozing the feeling of happiness. ‘YES PLEASE!!!’

Bruce… didn’t really know what to do about the teenager floating just outside the Watchtower. He looked like Phantom, from the few times anyone had actually seen the ghost, and he appeared to be enjoying himself in the vacuum outside instead of dying painfully, which was another point of evidence for that theory. Unsure of what else he could do, he knocked on the window on the off chance that he could get Phantom’s attention that way.

The ghost immediately vanished from view, and a strong, freezing cold breze blew in from the direction of the window Phantom had been outside. Bruce shivered violently from the unexpected chill.

Next time he would leave Phantom alone. Being out in space seemed to make him happy, and it was best not ruin that.

thinking,,,, about how sejanus is so starved for positive attention and validation that he latches on to coriolanus for just treating him decently. thinking about how quick he was to go home and tell his ma, call coriolanus his best friend, his only friend, all while coriolanus actively disliked him in his head. thinking about the disconnect between coryo's thoughts and his actions, how easy it was for him to act kind and polite to sejanus and to ma plinth while all the while he thought of them as so much lesser. all while sejanus admired him like the best the capitol had to offer. how sejanus trusted him enough to tell him about his plans once prodded, how quickly coryo was willing to doom him just to get back in dr. gaul's good graces. it's just crazy to me man. sejanus was the perfect opportunity for coryo to do good, a foil in all the ways lucy gray wasn't. brave where coryo was cowardly, morally sound, determined, loyal. he just wanted to be a medic. he just wanted to help people. anyone who says coriolanus was doomed by the narrative is just objectively wrong because all of this was right there for him and he still sacrificed it for a scrap more power

I’m a firm believer that Logan uses his strength to his advantage on reader at ALL times. Like he won’t let you get up or move away from him at night/in the morning when you’re cuddling, both hands wrapped around your front or back and holding you close or dragging/keeping you in place when you try moving around him while doing some household duties OR!!!! during sexy times where he cages you in with his whole body, either lying on top of you, holding your hands behind your back, or having you in a chokehold.
