An average of about 10 children per-day were referred to the Texas justice system for making threats in September.
More children are facing criminal consequences for terroristic threats in recent years, according to data obtained by The Dallas Morning News.
During the first full month of the school year, 316 children were referred for terroristic threats, according to county-level figures compiled by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.
In many cases, a referral is similar to an arrest. The child is taken into custody and brought to a detention center. Children can also be called in to meet with an officer after a charge is sent to a probation department or judge.
The vast majority of terroristic threat cases involved boys. More than half of the September referrals were children between 10 and 13 years old.
Roughly 13% of Texas public school students are Black, but such students accounted for about 22% of terroristic threat referrals.
Shooters who carry out preplanned attacks are rarely Black or very young, according to data analyzed by David Riedman, a researcher and professor who created the K-12 School Shooting Database.
“It seems like there’s just a level of adult discretion missing,” he said of the September data.
Schools across Texas faced a surge in threats in the weeks after a 14-year-old fatally shot two teenagers and two teachers at Georgia’s Apalachee High School on Sept. 4.
Many reported threats were deemed non-credible by law enforcement.
Children as young as 10 were arrested in response.
Some civil rights advocates worry about this increase in criminal consequences for children who may not fully understand the weight of their words and who don’t have the means to carry out violence.
“Kids will say things sometimes. There might be asinine comments that come from kids – we all were children once, right?” said Andrew Hairston, director of the Education Justice Project at Texas Appleseed. “Even if you make a mistake, you should not be railroaded into this criminal legal regime for it.”
Law enforcement officials say that in today’s climate, they can’t dismiss any potential threats. So far 2024 has seen at least 35 school shootings resulting in deaths or injuries, according to Education Week.
Officials have emphasized that children must be held accountable for harmful and disruptive language. Every time ominous words spread across social media or the cafeteria, it terrifies students and strains police resources.
“We’re taking, as we should, school safety really seriously. You can’t just say ‘I want to bring a gun to school’ without having a consequence,” said Shane Wallace, director of the Texas Association of School Resource Officers.
State data analyzed by The News found the highest number of terroristic threat referrals in recent years came in 2023, the year after the Uvalde massacre at Robb Elementary. Roughly 1,950 children were referred during that fiscal year.
The impact of criminal consequences can be profound.
The News recently examined the case of a 10-year-old boy who was arrested and criminally charged after his teacher reported that he said: “Maybe I should bring a gun to school. Then maybe they will listen to me.” The boy, who has autism, said he was misunderstood. His family doesn’t own guns.
It took more than two years – and thousands of dollars – for his family to get the charge dismissed. The ordeal shattered the boy’s confidence and caused his parents to pull him out of his public school, his family said.
#nunyas news#this isn't a discretion thing#parents need to tell their kids that's not a joke they can make#teacher doesn't report it and kids die#people will be out for even more blood#massive catch 22 here#err on the side of an abundance of caution

Housewife
Part - 10
Summery: Billy and Stu have been planning these murders for quite some time. Everything is going to plan until you show up. What happens when they meet someone who is just as mentally deluded as they are?
Pairing: poly!ghostface x fem!reader
Warnings for this series: murder, blood, smut (will be more in depth on smut chapters), power dynamics, a dash of sexism, knives, stalking, perverse behavior, cheating, mention of suicide,
Part 1
"Did Neil Prescott attack you with the ghostface costume on?"
"They've yet to close the case on the murders. Do you think Neil could've had a partner?"
"Was is hard watching your girlfriend die in front of you?"
The reporters spit inappropriate questions at Billy from the moment he stepped out of his car. He was more than happy that he got away with it but he found it a little annoying someone else was getting all the credit for his well executed plan. Billy threw his his backpack on barley missing the healing wound underneath his polo.
He passed by the reporters pushing some of them out of the way. Surprisingly no one bombarded him with questions when he entered first period. He heard whispers as he walked the halls. They didn't bother him at first. Billy lived through it, he got the front row seat most of them would kill to have. The boy kept his head down as he walked into his first period class. "It was Stu's house I know he had something to do with it." One of the boys said talking with his friends. Billy listened into the conversation. He was a nosey person by nature. "That doesn't mean he did it. I mean Sydney's dad was a wack job after his wife slept with half the town."
Billy nodded to himself. "I don't know something seems fishy with how close Stu and that new chick were." If you were close with anyone it was Billy. He was just careful about showing affection in public because shit like this happenes. People talk. "They were probably fucking and Tatum found out, everything went side ways." The group of three started laughing as the teacher shut the classroom door. Billy wasn't keen on hearing people talk about you or Stu but Stu had thick skin. Words never really bothered him much.
"You know we all would've died if Y/n didn't call the cops when she did." Billy snapped his tone a little too assertive. The class grew quiet everyone hearing what the boy had to say. Even the teacher was quiet not wanting to upset Billy more than he already was. "Class I know that these last few weeks have been traumatic for some more than others. However it would be beneficial to everyone if we continued on with our unit."
Billy went through the day with his keeping his eyes on the ground. He started to realize how hard it was to get through the day without Stu by his side going on and on about something he really didn't care about. The lunch bell rang and like clockwork all the kids flooded the hallway. For the most part Billy was completely ignored except for a few wide eyes stares in the hallway. For a second he forgot about what he had done. He saw the fountain being occupied by two girls. The freshman girls looked at Billy like he was a celebrity. "Oh my god Billy Loomis. I didn't think you'd come back so soon. Are you okay?" The blonde student rambled on stumbling over her words.
"Move." He was a man of few words. "I'm sorry about Syd- wait what?" She asked as her friend started picking her things up. "Are you deaf or something? Get out of my fucking spot." The girls hurried to grab their things. "This is where we sit everyday are you fucking blind?" He yelled causing people around to stare at the scene. "I-I'm s-sorry..." The kid stuttered scared of the boy in front of her. "Duh- duh- duh- get the fuck out of here." Billy spat nearly making the girl cry. Silently her friend grabbed her hand pulling her towards the building.
He could feel the eyes of those around him tearing into his slim frame. Billy sat on the concrete slab where he always did. No Sydney, no Tatum, no Randy, no Stu, and no you. His peers just watched the boy have a mental breakdown. It was lonely being alive. It wasn't the lack of people that was upsetting, it was the quiet. Running a hand through his messy hair he jumped up. "Fuck this."
You had never felt so good on a Monday. Your wound barley hurt with a little help from the pain killers. "Elvis really?" Stu questioned as you pulled the record out of it's sleeve. "You're not an American if you don't like Elvis." He pulled his lips into a straight line. "Consider me Canadian." Your rolled your eyes sitting the needle down. "Did you know he came in his pants during one performance?" Stu crinkled his nose at the unwante information. "That is fucking disgusting. Tell me more." You laughed laying on your bed next to him.
Billy blasted his radio choosing to listen to the burnt CD Stu made him a few weeks ago. Sad whiney alternative rock seeped through the speakers. It did nothing to help his mood but he wanted to sit and wallow in his self pity for just a little longer. It wasn't a very long drive to your house which saved him gas. If he had to guess you were probably laid up in pain waiting for someone to come and help you. And if you weren't going to answer his calls he'd do the chivalrous thing by showing up unannounced.
You held your sides as Stu danced around doing his best Elvis impression. "Stop it's so bad." You cried with laughter barley able to get the words out. You heard a faint noise downstairs grabbing your attention. "Wait, shh do you hear that?" Stu pipped down letting you concentrate. "Somebody's at the door." You rolled off the bed heading down the steps. "I'm going to pick the next record." Stu called from the bedroom. Making sure you looked presentable you opened the door. Billy looked up at you a smile playing at his lips for the first time in what felt like forever. "Hey." He said as you stared in shock. Your heart raced and you felt sick.
"Jeez don't get too excited." The visitor rubbed the back of his neck trying to ease his slowly building nerves. It was obvious to him you weren't as happy about seeing him as he was you. To him you were a breath of fresh air but that was because he was stealing yours. "Y/n please talk to me." He pleaded making you snap out of the trance you were in. "Go away." You thought it'd come out as a scream but it barley qualified as a whisper. Billy caught the door as it was closing. "You can't just tell me you're in love with me and then disappear." He walked into the house as if he owned it. You couldn't help but laugh dryly.
"That's what you got out of everything thing that happened Monday?" He raised an eyebrow unsure of what he was missing. "What else was I supposed to get? You literally pointed at gun at me saying you did all this for me because you loved me." You slammed your front door causing Stu to jump upstairs. "I was going to kill you." You said plainly done with the chit chat. "Excuse me?" You walked to the kitchen grabbing a drink from the fridge. "You heard me. When I saw that article and saw your smug face all I could see was red." Billy took a seat on your couch deciding to take his shoes off as if he was staying longer.
"I did love you, you're right but that was years ago. For a second there you had me fooled I'll give you that. My original plan was to get close to you and then kill you. Simple as that. Stu made that hard considering you were two attached at the hip." You refrained from making a joke you knew the boy upstairs would appreciate. "Why didn't you just kill him too?" With the look you gave him he knew that wasn't a good question. You took a swig of soda setting the glass bottle down on the counter. "It might be a shocker for a heartless bastard like you but I don't just run around killing people that inconvenience me."
Billy was actually kind of hurt by the comment. "I found out you two were planning to murder a group of kids so I sat and waited for you two to get yourselves put in prison or better yet you'd kill yourself." Billy swallowed what little spit he had left in his mouth. He was uncomfortable. "I'm not stupid, I knew you were going to kill him. He was simply collateral to you. That's what really pissed me off. You hadn't changed at all. I couldn't kill you now because he loved you and I couldn't bring myself to hurt him. Does he know?"
Stu sat upstairs knees to his chest as he tried not to cry. He was dumb he knew that but he was okay with it. He didn't think he was think oblivious though. All he was to Billy was a disposable accomplice. Something he could throw away once he was done using him.
"I wasn't going to kill him. We were going to run away together." You laughed shaking your head in disbelief. "Watch out Loomis, you're starting to sound as delusional as me." The whole scene really played out like two parents in the midst of a divorce. "Why'd you come here?" The defeated sound in your voice made Billy regret his decision in coming here. "I wanted to see you." He muttered. "Well you've seen me." You held out your hands making sure he could get a good luck before he left.
"I love you." Billy looked up at you making sure your eyes met when you heard the words. You hated the way he could easily manipulate you. Maybe it was because you wanted him to. You enjoyed how the lies made you feel so you chose to believe them. "If you think that's what I want to hear it's not. Love bombing is a big red flag you know?" Billy slammed his fist on the couch arm in frustration. "What the hell do you want to hear then?" You pinched the bridge of your nose. "I can't explain every little thing to you Billy. It's not my responsibility to teach you how to be a decent human being. I just need time. We both do. If you still feel the same way next week we can talk okay?"
Billy bit his lip till it started to bleed. "Okay." He was yet again defeated by you. You weren't keeping score but he certainly was. "If I call will you at least answer? Please." The idea wasn't bad but you knew it was only a matter of time till this sense of clarity wore off. You'd take him back in a heartbeat because you're the same easily impressed girl you've always been.
"I'll think about it." You'd kiss him right now if he as much implied the idea. One whimper from him and you've would've started making the bastard a sandwich. "Thank you." He said as he put he shoes back on. "How are you?" It was a question you thought he didn't care enough to ask. "I'm feeling better. Thank you for asking. How are you doing?" Billy's wound didn't even bother him at this point it was his mental state that was in decline. "I miss you and Stu." That wasn't an answer to your question but you proceeded with caution.
"I'll be back to school next week. Why don't you stay home this week too? School is not exactly the best idea for us right now." All things considered that is. You didn't understand how much Billy despised his "home." Since his mother left him his house became a prison. A padded cell would be cozier. "I would rather go to school all day than go home." You felt for him but that's as far as your sympathy went. Slowly he stood up waiting for anything to keep him here a bit longer.
"I'll see you Monday, Billy." You walked over to him ready to open up the front door. Swallowing his pride he wrapped his arms around you burying his face in your neck. The strangely intimate act was not in Billy's character. "I'm sorry." He whispered to himself more than you. You weren't even sure if he knew he said it. Your arms wrapped around his back and he let you just hold him for a second. If this was some sort of manipulation tactic he was better than you thought. Billy cleared his throat as he pulled away.
"I guess I'll see you Monday." You nodded not trusting your voice. "Call me if you need anything." Billy added as he walked outside heading towards his car. "Bye." Your voice cracked and you quickly shut the door locking it. Instead of sliding down the door like they do in the movies you laid face down on the couch. Screaming you lungs out into the throw pillow seemed to attract the attention of the boy upstairs. "You okay Betty Crocker?" Stu said almost jumping down the stairs. "You want to go cliff diving?" You asked as you carefully rolled off into the floor.
Stu joined you on the carpet. "Can we drive off the cliff Thelma and Louise style?" You smiled cuddling up into his side. "Absolutely." You wanted to ask if he heard your discussion but with how red his face was you assumed he already knew. "Is Y/n your real name?" There was a calming sincerity to his voice. "I wouldn't lie about that. Well actually that's a lie, yes I would." He laughed covering his eyes with his arm. "But no I'm not lying about that. I've got my birth certificate somewhere around here or I could just give you my social security number." You smiled up at him. "That works too."
Stu played records as you and him cleaned the kitchen. He felt betrayed by his best friend and he desperately needed the break. Stu would forgive Billy eventually, he always did. He knew you'd forgive him too if you hadn't already. That's just what Billy did. Ignorance is bliss, Stu learned that a long time ago. In the meantime, Stu was busy playing house with you.
(if your name has a line through it Tumblr wouldn't let me tag you)

Ancient Roman Poets on a Modern Date
Catullus (Gaius Valerius Catullus)
If you meet him before Lesbia, he will be charming, eloquent, and happy to go wherever you like, although his funds could be limited. Even so, he'll make sure you both enjoy yourselves. Theater or concert tickets in the plebian--nosebleed--section, for instance. If you meet him after Lesbia, there is a possibility he will spend the entire time trauma-dumping about his ex. If you also have one to complain about, this could be cathartic.
Vergil (Publius Vergilius Maro)
He takes you out to his beehive dressed in full bee-keeping gear to introduce you to his bees and then goes inside, where you sample different varieties of honey drizzled over fruit. He is sweet, but does talk about fields and bees a lot.
Ovid (Gaius Valerius Catullus)
Let's be honest. This might be more of a Tinder or Grindr hookup than a date. However, it's possible you met at a theater, race track, parade, or seaside resort. If you are aro/ace, run away. If you aren't and you are interested in seeing if he truly is proficient as a teacher of love, stick around. Don't expect him to be faithful, however. And although his manners are perfect, remember that it's an art and a game to him, so guard your heart.
Horace (Quintus Horatius Flaccus)
He'll take you out for a night of expensive dining and pay for it solely because the friend of a friend that owns the place owes him. He is charming company and can get you into any exclusive club or private experience you want to go to, but will expect reciprocated favors. Also, he turns on the charm, but absolutely expects to be complimented in return.
Sulpicia
She plays hard to get initially, not wanting to be too obvious with her affection. The first date will be YOUR choice. Pick well and she'll follow that with a candlelit dinner and eternal devotion. She does have expensive taste, however, and she would absolutely report you to her scary uncle if you break her heart.
Martial (Marcus Valerius Martialis)
He takes you on a picnic. Despite this being in the country, he'll opt for fine wine and gourmet food. He's easy to talk to, funny, and catty with his gossip. However, he'll also go on about his childhood in the country and how he went hunting and fishing and how he misses the simple country life. (All while sipping from an expensive goblet.)
Livy (Titus Livius)
He takes you to a museum and acts as your tour guide throughout the entire thing. Who knew that your date would double as a living and breathing audio tour? You're supposed to eat at the museum cafe, but you may not make it there before it closes... If you're a fan of history, you're in for a treat.
Iullus Antonius
Iullus is a huge romantic and just as charming as his famous father. He will show up with flowers and take you on a date in a small, undiscovered restaurant and to a lot of cute places that are off the beaten path. Whether you hit it off romantically or not, he's the kind of guy who could be your ride or die. (Spoiler alert, when he says he's your ride or die, he's extremely serious. 💀)
Albius Tibullus
When he falls, he falls hard. He takes you on a date in an orchard. This includes picking grapes and then tasting wines. If the date is before he was entranced with one of the lovers he wrote about, all is well. If not, he might get a little teary eyed about his past love(s). He is polite, sweet, attentive, and apologetic though.
Juvenal (Decimus Junius Juvenalis)
He takes you to an expensive restaurant and makes it clear he is only paying for HIS meal. The entire time he criticizes everyone else in the restaurant for being posers and judges them based upon appearance, status, and gender. His date is not a safe place for anyone who doesn't fit his definition of traditional values. Definitely talks about kids these days and the degradation of society.
#inspired orginally by @just-late-roman-republic-things#ancient rome#ancient roman memes#classics memes#ancient roman poets#okay yes I added Iullus because I feel bad for him and Julia and I wish some of his poetry had survived#and yes some scholars believe sulpicia isn't actually a real historical figure or did not write the poems but I wanted representation#and personally Iullus or Virgil for first choices#tho I love catullus and would also pick him#national poetry month

。⋆。˚🦋˚。⋆。
Roger: "Oh, about that."
Harrison: "First of all, why didn't you say anything about knowing them?"
Roger: "Because you didn't ask me."
Harrison: *sighs*
Roger: "Besides, I don't have a very close relationship with them either."
Roger: "So, it's hard to say whether they can be trusted."
Harrison: ".....So, how did you know each other?"
Roger: "Just a doctor and patient relationship. Jude's got weak bronchial tubes to begin with."
Roger: "They used to come to my parents' house sometimes, when my dad was a town doctor, because they said my dad had good skills."
Roger: "When he was a patient of my father's, I knew him, but....."
Roger: "Then one night, he rolled in, saying he had been stabbed with a knife. Not to my dad, but to me."
Harrison: ".....Do you know why was he stabbed?"
Roger: "All he said was he got stabbed because of a grudge."
------FLASHBACK------
Jude: "I won't say anything more than that. Don't ask me anymore."
Roger: "Oh, really? Well, I can't believe you're asking me instead of my dad just because you didn't want to make it public."
Jude: "You wanted a training ground for your techniques, right?"
Jude: "You can practice on me without a medical license."
Jude: "In return, we won't tell anyone about how I got treated to keep the reputation of your father's hospital intact."
Roger: "Good for both of us, huh? Well, guess that's true too."
Ellis: ".....Will he be okay? Mr. Roger."
Roger: "Ah, don't worry. He's a valuable training ground, so I won't kill him."
Ellis: "Thank god. I can't have him dying now."
Roger: "What's that? Then when would you let him die?"
Ellis: "When he's at the happiest moment of his life...."
Roger: "Oh? Then there's a long way to go if you keep hurting yourself like this everyday."
Jude: "Hey you quack! Either stitch me up or pull out the needle. I'm gonna die anyway if you leave it like that!"
-----FLASHBACK ENDS-----
Harrison: "....So you treated him before you got a medical license."
Roger: "Hahaha. Isn't the statute of limitations now?"
Harrison: "Anything else? You know about them?"
Roger: "Hmmm? Well....Jude is an early bird and Ellis isn't a picky eater."
Harrison: "I don't wanna know about that."
Roger: "Jude doesn't go down easily and can drink at the same pace as me. But Ellis gets drunk easily."
Harrison: "No. Not that.....I don't want their unnecessary profile information in my head."
Roger: ".....Like I said, my story won't be much of a help to judge whether to trust them or not."
Roger: "There are things they're keeping from me too. I heard they're doing a research that costs a lot of money or something."
Roger: "Well, I don't know if you can trust them, but I at least am sure that they are people who won't do anything half-heartedly."
Roger: "Was that helpful?"
Harrison: ".....Well, sort of. At least the information I got from you wasn't false."
Roger: "Then I'm glad."
...........
Liam: "Found you."
Harrison: "Hm? .....Ah, how did you know I was here?"
Liam: "I heard from Will. Are you working?"
Harrison: "I wanted a distraction from the report. That's all."
Liam: "Oh. I wanted to report something. Is it not okay now?"
Harrison: "It's fine. I lost concentration anyways...when you called for me."
Harrison: "So, what is it?"
Liam: "Okay. First, Jude..."
Liam: "I heard that he enrolled in a public school through a doctor or....was it a scholar, I think?"
Liam: "Isn't that surprising? I bet it must have been hard for him to fit in with all those aristocratic kids....I'm curious how it was like for him?"
Liam: "Ellis on the other hand, he never went to school."
Liam: "His father used to be a teacher at the church, but they split up a long time ago."
Liam: "Ah...I also promised to go skating with Ellis by the lake next time."
Harrison: "Wow. How did you manage to get those two to talk about themselves....? I didn't see you at the castle last few days."
Liam: "I just went invisible and followed them, found out what they have been doing over for the past few days."
Liam: "All the way home?"
Harrison: "....You went that far?"
Liam: "I thought Harry would be happy. Well, half of it was simply my curiosity as a cat."
Liam: "If I didn't follow them and tried talking to them directly, I think they'd say, 'I can't trust you'."
Liam: "I feel like it's a bit inconclusive...."
Harrison: "That look on your face, you're up to something...."
Liam: "That's my evil buddy! You know me so well!"
Liam: "So, why don't you give them a try?"

Something I do like about the character writing for DFF is that 1) The characters really do feel like messy teenagers 2) The characters do shitty things, hurt each other or do harmful things to themselves that - frustrating and painful as it is to watch - make sense for the character and their circumstances. The characters don't often make the smart or best decision, but for the most part, it makes sense in context.
Tw for discussion of sexual abuse
Like am I mentally yelling at Non to forget about the movie, ditch these shitty 'friends', be honest with Phee, report Kru Keng and to move to Phee's school? Yes, I am. Do I understand why he doesn't do any of those things? Yes, I do.
He's a teenager who's mentally ill, isolated, with low self esteem and coming from a place of poverty.
As a kid, I was also part of a group of 'friends' who were actually bullies. Although things never went nearly as far as they do in DFF, I can get where Non's coming from. When you're that desperate for acceptance and to be a part of a group (however shitty it may be), and when perhaps they're not even always shitty, just enough so to make you consider staying around, you'll stay around in the hope things get better.
Non's family are poor - to the point of taking out loans for New - and he's already brought trouble to their door due to the money laundering scheme, as well as to his parents' relationship. In contrast to New - who's implied to be the golden child - Non likely feels like he's brought nothing but trouble and misery to his family.
As someone who's mentally ill and on medication, I wouldn't be surprised if he felt ashamed of his mental illness as well, and felt like that already made him a 'burden' to his family. Disclaimer that I don't know how mental illness is treated in Thailand specifically, but as someone from an East/Southeast Asian background, I do feel like in general, mental illness is something that still has a more of a stigma to it in Asia than it does in the West (not that there isn't stigma here too). Like, I would never tell my mum I'm in therapy because I feel like she wouldn't truly understand, and might even blame herself for me going. From her point of view, only 'crazy' people, someone with something seriously wrong with them or someone suffering from severely traumatic event would go to therapy.
When Non got taken in by the police, Phee talked to his dad to get him released, putting himself in potential trouble with his dad and potential future trouble with the police if this comes under any further scrutiny.
Non says time and time again he doesn't want to be a burden to anyone, and he already feels like he's been a burden to his family and Phee. He knows his family can't afford the debt, and he doesn't want to trouble Phee further. So when Kru Keng offers him money in exchange for sex, even though he knows what Kru Keng's doing is wrong, even though he doesn't want to lie and 'cheat' on Phee (and don't tell me it's 'cheating'; again, this is an adult in a position of power grooming a vulnerable youngster), he believes he'd be bringing his troubles to his loved ones and doesn't want to be even more of a 'burden.' So he has sex with Kru Keng.
And then Phee's reaction to finding out. Does he react badly and then say something really awful to Non by telling him to get lost and die? Yes. Do I understand why he reacted like that? Yes! Again, he's a teenager, and probably one in his first serious relationship, and reacting out of anger and hurt, without full details of the situation or understanding of why what Kru Keng's doing is incredibly wrong (even if Non seems to be 'consenting').
Unfortunately, in cases of real life teacher-student grooming, it's not uncommon for the reaction of students (especially teenagers) to not be one of 'oh, that's fucked up, the teacher's a monster, poor student [x]' but for the victim to be ridiculed or slut-shamed by some quarters, especially if it's seen as 'consensual.'
Jin's reaction too. Is it shitty he videoed Non and then (almost?) posted it on social media? Yes. Is it because of him taking that video that it somehow got disseminated to the rest of the school? Yes. Do I understand why he reacted this way? Yes. People are messy and human, and doesn't always react in the best ways in the face of hurt, anger and immaturity

The Evealia Guide Through Babel (event) - Part III
Last time we left off, things are going absolutely terrible. There's a Sarkaz that is gone insane with sorrow for his comrades and his son, so he's taken it with himself to go destroy the Leithanien he's noticed lurking around Kazdel.
Leithanien. From Babel.
I'll just let you read this part on your own for cinematic value.
GOOD GOD ALRIGHT
Damn it... Ugh.
He is sent to Theresa, but he's so out of it that he doesn't even realize what is going on. He very happily tells her that he killed the traitorous Leithanien and has avenged his son, along with all the others who died in battle.
He's taken away since Theresis doesn't want Theresa to be the one meting out punishment like that.
It's strange though, because he doesn't use Arts, but the guards were hypnotised. Somebody on the outside is at fault for this. Yet, the Military Commission refuse to investigate, because the victim is just an outsider to the Sarkaz.
Babel is to remove itself from all political activity too and finally make some clear boundaries between what it can and cannot do on Kazdel.
In a different light, we get to see Theresa and Theresis as caretakers for Ascalon.
Theresis gives her knife back and teaches her, briefly, about how she should sharpen it since warriors should treasure their weapons, while also being considering on who it gets to cut.
Theresa is much softer on the approach. Asks her about what she likes in the city.
Despite that, Ascalon feels like she can't really hate the gentle Sarkaz. I SCREAMED when Theresa offered Ascalon to touch her horn. Is it a way to show affection? Vulnerability? Whatever it is, WHY did I not think of this sooner. That's so heckin adorable.
Theresa cleans Ascalon's wound and teaches her that weapons can't heal these - only time and medicine. So one day she can wake up and learn that it doesn't hurt anymore.
That much, Ascalon agrees with.
Babel Classroom, Kazdel
…
Well, nobody showed up to class.
Except Theresis, who is there to confirm that the casualty report from the Military Commission states a lot of children have gone. Those who survived - their parents refuse to let the outsiders of Babel teach them. Plus, many of the Babel teachers left - out of fear.
Even if Theresis thinks Theresa is wasting her time, he waits with her upon her request.
IT WASN'T FOR NOTHING!!
Down, Dog.
ARRRGHBFEUSUGIH MY HEART.
I hated him, okay? I hated Manfred in the way you'd hate a handsome scrimblo, in the way where I'd be ashamed to say that I like him; like how people who love stinky cheese don't want others to know, they just sit in the corner eating it and hope that nobody is going to notice the smell.
I liked him for his perseverance before and because he was so very 'aware' unlike other leaders we've seen in the past. Meanwhile, I'm being set up with this charming little creature that just wants change for the better, wants peace, and wants to help.
HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME ADMIT I LIKE HIM?!
Now I suddenly wish he does not die. Now I get upset when I remember I derogatively called him Milfred out of rage. I never managed to pass CC 9 or 10, I forgot which one was Ashring, but now??? I'm mean to NOT be upset???
I hate it here.
Within Kazdel, Goodluck and his son are… either waiting for the worst to happen or they're morning the loss of their third family member. Goodluck can't really stand sitting around, doing nothing, so he is planning to become a mercenary and make the people who hurt his wife pay.
Before departing he gives her name to his son - Odda. And promises to teach him how to fight with her weapon once he returns.
---
BB-3 Before
Silent Crack
[Today, though, we face the tragic reality of disunity and betrayal.]
Eight Years Ago...
Summer, 1086
Classes are being held in Kazdel, secretly. Kids have to keep their voices down and they're not allowed to tell anybody about what is happening inside their secret little base of operation.
The war between Kazdel and Leithanien never stopped, so for 18 years they've been pursued. A lof of people feel into despair, either from the ghost of war or the infection.
Within the Scar Market, Goodluck picks up a commission - some teacher in Kazdel has been saying too good a thing about Babel. Somebody is willing to pay to shut them up.
We learn that it's been a while since Goodluck was in this part of Kazdel. Although Goodluck doesn't remember a lot of things, he remembers the look of his front door - the address where that supposed 'teacher' might be hiding.
Inside, said Teacher is really doing good. He's teaching the children that the Sarkaz blame Babel for their misfortune since they have nobody else. Babel brought the enemies, Babel's medicine makes Oripathy worse, Babel this and that-- and children nod along, because they probably hear that from their parents a lot.
It's not quite so, though; they can't take things at face value. That's why they have to see, learn and think for themselves.
Odda notices somebody at the door. Everybody scrambles to hide before he opens it and sees...
Surprisingly, it's Ascalon.
She scans the sparsely furnished room and understands.
...
She says 'Thank you for sheltering him. But you must leave'.
It's clearly a warning for oncoming danger. The teacher has to go. Odda stays by the door - a habit of his since he was little. As if he was waiting for someone familiar to come back home.
From the shadows, Goodluck recognises him immediately. He's unfortunately already bound with his own mission and knows there's only one way to ensure his child gets a better life.
Ascalon makes the decision for him. Her mist shrouds the corpse, erasing all traces of its existence.
[The passing of a life in Kazdel is akin to a speck of dust falling to the ground, unheard, unceremonious, and unnoticed.]
[His luck ran out.]
Manfred seems to also have been in the area at the time of this occurrence. They fight a little, both at friendly terms, though they serve different sides of Kazdel.
It drives up a memory of another time they were sparring.
THEY EVEN LAUGH TOGEHTER, because Theresa helps Manfred down by levitating him to safety.
Though adorable, we're back in the present with Ascalon and Manfred fighting. There's a misunderstanding between their approaches I think. Manfred has remained by Theresis' side because he thinks there can be a different approach to the future they're looking for. Since the start Theresis has been hesitant with Theresa's plan, so now they have parted ways.
On the other side, Ascalon has turned her back on Theresis out of anger that he'd allow the others in Kazdel to badmouth Her Highness and her choice to stick with Babel.
Manfred is more understanding than ever though. It's not really the twin sovereigns who had to make the decision of parting. It's just circumstance. Perhaps the prophecy.
They're so caring for each other though... These four care about each other so much I want to put them in a box and keep them together forever.
Sadness isn't over by the way~
Because Manfred appears on Odda's door with his dad's... remnants. Odda doesn't really remember him, but Manfred doesn't make much of it as he presents the items and explains:
[There have been some disturbances in the city, and I'm afraid your father... I'm so sorry.]
[Wh-Where did you find them? Was there...?]
[There was nothing else left at the scene. I'm sorry.]
[...]
[What's your name?]
[...Odda.]
[If you need any help...]
[No... no, I'm very grateful that you brought these back. It's been a long time since I last saw him... this is enough. I don't have to wait anymore... He's not coming back...]
[Do you have family? Or friends you can count on?]
[I can take care of myself. Besides, we see things like this every day in this city, no?]
[...]
[I-I'm sorry I gushed, sir. I just feel like I know you, somehow... I'm sure you're busy. I won't keep you any longer.]
[My condolences.]
THIS IS NOT FUNNY
WHAT THE HECK ITS NOT FUNNY, YOU'RE NOT ORIGINAL?!?!?!?!?
I've never cried so hard in my life, oh no I'm broken.
---
BB-3 After
There's been an accident - feelings are mixed.
A father beat his child for trying to defend the Teacher, and the Teacher fought back with the father to defend the kid. In the end, both of them were going to die from their injuries. He was set upon by the angry crowd and it escalated from there. The turmoil dragged in everybody - Civilians, Babel, mercenaries, even the Military Commission.
Somebody blew up the Babel office building, so then Royal Court troops were involved.
Theresa has made the decision to remove Babel from Kazdel. It's become way too dangerous for any of the personnel to stay any longer, since they're now completely unwanted. Odda immediately signs up to leave with them.
Out on the streets, the dying teacher is mocked by the Sarkaz soldiers, but he's actually seeing an invisible to others little banshee - Logos. He was there in the classroom and learned a lot from the Teacher.
Even if others did not believe it so, the Sarkaz Teacher is welcomed by the myriad of souls and he's guided to them with the little banshee's song.
[It is an elegy that commemorates the passing of an ordinary Sakraz.]
['You were talking about the future of Babel in the lesson, but you didn't get to the end. What were you going to say?']
['I believe... that Babel will die someday. I hope I'm wrong.']
In the court, Laqeramaline is saying goodbye to Theresa. It's a sweet conversation they have, with the Banshee Queen being as truthful to her beliefs as she is supportive to Theresa. She also knows there is no other way, so all she can do from the position of a mother is hope for the best.

DCST X Naruto: Kakashi Owed R&D A Favor
That was essentially how it started. He had needed some info on chakra manipulation training techniques that the library decided he didn't need.
So instead he asked some ninja in R&D to slip him the intelligence. Which they were allowed to do only by their discretion.
Which was more than a decade ago at this point, and with no favor called in, Kakashi was hoping they'd forgotten.
But of course Research-nin remembered. They lived longer than shinobi who were on field duty.
"So these supposed 'Thousand Jutsu' you know. There any merit to them?" Inabi, the first research-nin to approach him asked.
"I wouldn't say a thousand, but the number's up there." He agreed loftily.
"There's a new graduate from the Academy who could use your insight." She explained, "Hokage-sama is looking for a mentor for him, to refine his specific skillset. I think it'd be most productive to have you do it."
"What's this skill?" Kakashi asked uninterestedly. He'd just sent another batch of genin back to the Academy, too.
"He can build machines that recreate jutsus." She informed him, grinning, "Cool, yeah?"
Cool, maybe. But he'd still die in a field situation unless he knew how to work together with others.
---
In the end it was that favor and some mild curiosity which got him to show up at the Academy the next Monday to collect a base report on the kid and his strengths.
Shiraishi Gaku, with a pencilled in addition of Senku at the end, was ten. A little earlier than average these days.
He also had no taijutsu or ninjutsu score. Or genjutsu. No zeroes or anything. They just... weren't there.
The hell?
"Oh yeah, Senku-kun doesn't have properly developed chakra coils. So he couldn't be tested for ninjutsu and genjutsu." One of the Academy teachers explained, having noticed his baffled shuffling of the papers, "And he hated taijutsu so much he built an electronic Puppet to get out of it."
"And you let him skip taijutsu????" Kakashi asked. He was the furthest thing from a teacher, but even that didn't sound right. And why was he allowed to graduate at all if he categorically could not do any ninja art?
And then the last bit caught up to him, "He made a Puppet out of... electricity? But you just said he had no chakra coils."
"Not like made out of electricity." The teacher corrected wearily, "The electricity powers a metal exoskeleton or something I didn't quite understand his explanation."
Right. Because he could make machines that mimic jutsu. And he could do it so well that it was going to lead to his death in the near future.
The teacher's face lit up as he looked at something behind Kakashi, "Oh, you can ask him yourself!"
Senku was wandering up, looking exactly as he did in the photo on the report, except somehow even more unimpressed.
They both looked at each other for a moment, and Kakashi immediately knew this was going to be a headache.
---
If Kakashi didn't know better he would be convinced that the Hokage wanted Senku dead.
There was no other explanation as to why you would let a kid this unathletic ever become a ninja.
"We've been making this walk for weeks now! How are you still on the brink of death every time we complete it?"
"Shut up." Senku wheezed from the ground, "It's really far away, okay?"
"Barely three kilometers."
"And that's really fucking far!" Senku whined, "I don't need to walk this much. The research grounds to test new jutsu are nearer to the Village. Not like I'll ever be seeing actual action."
And again with that familiar refrain.
It had been nearly two months since Kakashi had first been assigned him, and Senku made sure to bring that up at least once every day.
And sure, maybe that was true, but Kakashi could not in good conscience allow a child to die because he was so insistent that he didn't need crucial training.
Everyone else catered to his idiosyncrasies because admittedly, yes, the kid was just that good, but he knew first-hand that geniuses didn't know what was good for them.
Something needed to be done.
"Senku." He decided, once the time came for them to go their separate ways for the day.
Senku looked at him curiously, arms piled up with the guts of a machine Kakashi didn't quite understand, "Yeah?"
With great solemnity, he ran through the signs and fired up Chidori.
"See this?" He lectured, over the bird-luke shrieking of the jutsu, "Your machines are good, but they're not as good as the techniques built by ninja all over the world."
He rammed it into the closest tree, and the bark came apart like tissue paper, the hole piercing all the way to the other side.
"What if that's you someday?" He demanded, "How will you counter it? How will you even hope to match it?"
He was being uncharacteristically serious, but he had to make sure something stuck. Clearly no one else was going to deny this stupid kid anything, so it was up to Kakashi to make him see sense.
For a long moment, Senku stayed quiet. Then he nodded, "You make a good point." And he walked away.
If this didn't work, Kakashi would have to sic Gai on him next.
---
Two weeks later, Senku randomly said, "Hey you remember that Lightning Fist technique you showed me."
"Chidori." Kakashi corrected on impulse.
"Yeah, that." Senku brushed off, holding up a kunai-shaped object. Except where the blade should be was a shallow funnel of some kind. And the handle clearly had a dial and a switch built into it.
Senku held it up to a tree, right next to the one he had felled with Chidori, and pressed a button.
Pulling it away slightly, Kakashi saw a rod of red light poking out from the center of the funnel, pointed directly into the bark.
Within seconds, the other end of the light came searing out from the other side of the tree.
One click of a button, and the light disappeared.
"Matched it." Senku told him levelly. His voice was serious. At least some part of the warning had been internalized.
Just not the part he wanted.
"Gai will be overseeing your taijutsu training from now on."
"What?!"

Knowing Armand’s weakness for older men, Armand’s former patron and good friend Marquis Lestat de Lioncourt introduces him to a lowly but charming scholar, Daniel Molloy, for a summer diversion.
Lestat’s close gentleman friend Louis thinks this is a disaster: for all that he’s a courtesan, Armand is not great at casual.

He can’t afford to hand them any ammunition, which is why the heady adrenaline of his affair with fellow teacher Lestat de Lioncourt is NOT worth the risk—on too many levels to count.
Three times Louis broke it off with Lestat—for real this time—and one time Louis admitted this insecure devoted histrionic fool might be it for him.

Lestat de Lioncourt/Louis de Pointe du Lac Teasing, Pining
high school au. desperate for his attention, theater kid lestat grows increasingly obnoxious in his bids for pending valedictorian louis to notice him before they graduate.
he slept with louis's boyfriend (before they broke up), he backed his car into louis's, he embarrassed louis while he was giving a report in class to relieve the tension, he dedicated his performance of hamlet to him, he made sure louis received more flowers on valentine's than anyone else, and he had a very public whirlwind seduction of the salutatorian to make sure her grades were too derailed to compete with louis's. lestat honestly doesn't know what it's going to take.
--
Lestat de Lioncourt/Louis de Pointe du Lac Alternate Universe - Werewolf, Full Shift Werewolves, Werewolf Sex
lestat doesn’t reveal himself to louis as a vampire in the church—he reveals himself as a werewolf. he’s not looking to turn louis, but feeling freaked out about louis’s rejection of lestat and louis’s suicidal ideation, lestat has a strong need to claim louis in lestat’s werewolf form.

Why do you think Natalia is unlikely to be back? From past experience (looking at Taykay), I thought any LI of Buck would be a sure thing to return, no matter how shitty it’s written. As for Marisol, if she’s not fired for her transphobic speech, we are looking at Ana 2.0…
Before the strike, I thought Natalia could be back to at least test the waters re: audience reception. Fandom may not have found her engaging, but (IMO) the GA's opinion could have been swayed had they seen her some more (and assuming Tim & Kristen put actual thought into giving her a personality and a purpose). Buck and a pretty lady? Particularly a pretty lady that comes off nicer than the last? Not a hard sell.
But the more I thought about it, the more I started wondering how a death doula is going to fit into Buck's life now that we've seen him work through his feelings about the possibility of dying on the job, and regardless of how people felt, story-wise, her career matched up with where he was (mentally) at in 6B. We just didn't see any of that connection. (More off screen development at the hands of Kristen...let's hope that gets better next year.) If Natalia were to come back, she'd be getting the Ali and Ana treatment, I think - an appearance every few weeks so you remember she's there - because there's truly nothing for her and Buck to do together that matches the other pairings. No kids right now. That makes her different from Michael and Karen, the two longtime non-first responder spouses. And Shannon. And even Ana, who Eddie first became interested in at a parent-teacher conference. No history of reporting or crime solving. They're no Bathena. Or even BT. She's not a firefighter. They won't be BL. She's not a dispatcher. There goes the Madney angle. (Natalia getting close to her boyfriend's sister, having double dates). And there *also* goes the potential for communication over radio or one showing concern over the other's safety (y'no, the thing we assume should be happening more with Madney). So much of Buck's story line has been about his personal relationships and desire for love/a family of his own. A girlfriend that he interacts with two times in half a season (all things being equal aka not 5A) doesn't seem like the way this is gonna go considering how his previous two "relationships" (counting Lucy) were with women who had a reason to regularly interact with him. The effort IS being made now, but it's not enough to win the audience over because of choices that were made early on. (The Lucy intro was just. Completely avoidable. Cheating is not how you get the moms on board, duh.) I expect that to change with Tim in the driver's seat critiquing more closely than before.
& regarding Marisol, yeah, the Ana detail is why I'm not as sure of or concerned with the character's status. The show has yet to write a LI for Eddie that has a presence. (I know people have their feelings about Shannon, but strictly speaking appearances, her first two set up her arrival and stay in LA and then the next "big" episode didn't come until she was supposed to die.) I don't know that I'll believe that's a priority in the writers' room until I actually see it for myself. :/ (And as for the transphobia...the ones in charge stayed silent and so much of the GA must not have a clue it happened, so I wouldn't even count on *that* being a deciding factor. If it's anything, it's her delivery and lack of chemistry with Ryan. So basically, Gabrielle 2.0.)

I am quite confused regarding this matter. Tsughimori tells Yashiro that Amane was a normal boy who was destined to be a teacher, but we know that he should have died at age 4 from that disease if it weren't for Tsukasa. Do you think this means that it was part of Tsukasa's destiny to sacrifice himself for Amane or that Tsughimori simply omitted it?
I really wish all the time that I knew the hell that book had to say about Tsukasa... yet another big mystery. I assume Tsuchigomori doesn't... READ EVERY SINGLE STUDENT'S BOOK...? unless he's intrigued by them ....
But it's true, it means the timeline Amane was already on, was not changed by Tsukasa's sacrifice-- Tsukasa was always going to sacrifice himself, and there seems to be no timeline where Tsukasa lived on while Amane died as a child..? It doesn't seem as if Tsukasa changed anything ...
I'm always kind of moved by the possibility that there exists no timeline Tsukasa lives. In this way he feels more doomed than Amane?
it isn't Amane dying that jarred Tsuchi after all, nor the relevance of the supernatural, but the fact that known fate altered. It's possible he already knew Tsukasa had strange elements in his life, and maybe even that Tsukasa was going to die for all we know (I kind of assume he was on borrowed time?), but the one altered factor was Amane dying, so that is all Tsuchi would mention or care about. I don't think he is, for instance, interested in whatever student is a Clockkeeper or, people like Natsuhiko who have supernatural elements, or the Minamoto kids... only alterations to fate.
I question a lot what the book really knows about them, given it only encompasses those few years of school-time, but who knows what conversations or interactions the boys had in the school for the bookstacks or mirrors to 'see'. I have wonder a lot if it could just innately detect Tsukasa's state being weird, or not... no idea how invasive it is, given Nene-chan is at home in her pajamas in this report....
Tsuchi attempted to reveal as little to Nene-chan as possible out of respect for Amane though, and absolutely only discussed the yorishiro & that which is immediately relevant to it. He's not actually in the interest of like, socializing or bonding with her about Amane or going on and on (and Amane would kill him for it...). If it were up to Tsuchi, he wouldn't have said anything at all to her about any of this... so yes, he omitted anything and everything else he knew intentionally.

I feel like Virginia knew Henry had powers since he was a kid and maybe took him to Brenner cause he claimed that he could do something about it? Like maybe remove his powers or something but he actually wanted him for himself and his labs kids project... Fast forward, they move to Hawkins and Virginia realizes that Henry still has his powers and when The Creels die, Brenner hears about it on the news and manages to get a hold of Henry cause he has the assets and resources from the government. Now, sometimes I wonder if Virginia was taken to MK Ultra type of experiments or something similar, and that's why Henry has powers? Or was he just inherently born with powers? Lots of questions, haha.
This is interesting, because we know nothing about the Creels pre-Hawkins. Zero. Nothing. We know the teachers and doctors before Hawkins said Henry/Edward was broken, but we don't know why they said that. It could be anything from queerness to autism to powers. We just don't know. It's so suspicious that the Creels somehow inherited this small fortune from some unnamed great uncle, only for them to be placed right next to HNL. It reeks of lab money. I'd be willing to bet Brenner had his fingers in it and double-crossed Virginia to get at Henry, and shit went sideways in the process.
However, Henry was kidnapped immediately following the massacre. It was only Victor who was told about the one week coma, none of the papers ever reported that, so Brenner couldn't've found out from the news. He had his hands all over it, especially given that Victor was arrested by State Troopers. They're the same branch of police that Brenner controls in Season 1 with Will's fake body. Henry/Edward talks about escaping Brenner, but he calls him by name, so he's familiar with him already. Brenner had his fingers in the situation long before the massacre, even in Hawkins. Brenner definitely swooped right in to take Henry/Edward. I don't think Henry/Edward ever had a stay in a normal hospital after the massacre at the Creel house.
The part about powers is a real head-scratcher, because we have to wonder how Henry/Edward's mother knew he had powers. It's either that she saw him using them at some point, or she herself has powers and recognizes them in Henry/Edward. It's really suspicious, because even Henry/Edward doesn't know how she knew. He says she "somehow knew" it was him causing the visions. I'd be willing to bet that one or both of the mothers had powers and knew she had powers.
How she got them is a different story, because Henry/Edward was born in 1947, but MKULTRA didn't technically begin until 1953. So Henry/Edward would already be 6 years old by that time. He's taken by Brenner in 1959, which aligns with MKULTRA's run time, and by 1971 Brenner is using drugs to try and induce latent powers in adults via MKULTRA in hopes of stealing children with powers. There's also that whole bit about Brenner trying to "recreate" Henry/Edward, and how "soon others were born", which leads me to think it's genetic. I'm willing to bet the powers were innate/genetic on Henry/Edward's end, because it would be really hard to induce system-wide genetic mutations in parents. That is to say, you'd be hard-pressed to generate that kind of a mutation in adults if it isn't already there, but if put under stress you can induce powers in an adult that may not have presented previously. This gives you a starting point to look for children with powers that you (Brenner) can steal.

Describe your character's moral compass. Is there anything that would make them abandon or shift their morality? If so, to what extent? If not, why not?
Neutral Good, to go all Dungeons and Dragons on this!
Ollie is broadly a helper, someone trying to do good. As a teacher, he's doing that within a system that often puts you at odds with written and unwritten expectations that don't actually, kindly serve every student or situation. He feels more beholden to his students than to whoever he's working for, but, well, he also needs a job, so some things just have to be done by the book. (Does he feel that it's "right" to grade kids on art? No, not really, but report cards need filing.) And resources are always short, and sometimes administration just has crappy priorities! So he's used to smiling and nodding at the rules while looking for a more genuinely supportive, functional way to do things. Overall, though, the moral quandaries of an art teacher are pretty low-key!
Much lower-key than how you're supposed to deal with the apparent fact that your mom's been murdered for being a horrific family-cursed snake monster. Or handling the one-two punch of mourning the loss of his only family while trying to unpack the complicated good and bad of those relationships, which contained multitudes of well-meant but ultimately harmful behaviours and patterns. Ollie's been struggling with the "right" and "wrong" of this for a long time, and that's only gotten murkier. It was all tricky enough when his mother and grandmother were alive; now, well. It's just him, and finding out more about why they were the way they were hasn't made handling that grief any easier. He's learned to love his difficult family in some difficult way, and he's trying, still, to understand and remember them fairly and fondly. But the questions aren't getting simpler. Was his mom some kind of monster? Is he going to be? Regardless, what would he do faced with whoever made that call in Deirdre O'Rourke's case, the hunter(s) who decided she deserved to die, to keep others safe? Abandoning his generally compassionate, good-leaning moral stance seems like a lot, but... what's the "good" path, here? He doesn't like the logical follow-through trailing after any of the answers he can see. How much is he going to let this change him, and how much choice does he actually have, in that? Who knows! Not me. Pay no attention to the hands behind the keyboard.

It genuinely passes me off that there's kids in school getting bullied which causes trauma for them and it lasts for years, and the teachers let it fucking happen.
They don't give a shit if you're getting bullied, they aren't gonna do anything because they simply don't care. They expect you to have an ability to stand up for yourself, and if you don't, you're basically shit outta luck. Explain to me how the shy kid is supposed to fight back against bullies when they're already getting teased.
My fucking 6th grade teacher refused to fucking help me with this kid who was bullying me after I reported it several times and had the fucking audacity to say I'm doing it for attention, like, I'm sorry that you are tired of "trying" to help me out. Also telling the kid to apologize doesn't do shit because all that did was make him accuse me of telling on him. 6th grade was mostly just a fucking trauma fest.
And you know what? I stopped reporting it. Why? Because there's no point. No one wanted to help me out, so why bother trying? And this lasted through fucking junior high.
This is why some of us hate ourselves for how weird they made us feel for being themselves and why some of us want to fucking die. Some actually commit suicide over this if not suffer mental problems where they're harming themselves and have bad thoughts.
Kids like me suffered trauma from bullying because NOBODY gives enough of a shit about US, the victims. That's why some of us hate ourselves and become more shy.
I hate the school system, I hate the shitty job the teachers do at keeping us safe, I hate how they fucking TOLERATE bullying towards kids in school.
I wish they'd do something about them, I wish they cared about us victims and the damage that happened to us.
But they dont.
School is built for normal kids and normal kids ONLY. If you're very much different from them especially if you're neurodivergent you're basically doomed to suffer from their shitty ass system that refuses to help you
#kris' vents#tw bullying#tw vent#seeing this shit happening to my sister reminds me of the hell i went through especially in 6th grade#tw sh related#tw sui talk

Penelope:
- I feel like she might be European or generally from a foreign country (maybe french or something) but at this point she's been on the internet so long that she's basically fluent
So when she tells people she's not actually English literally nobody believes her because she's just that g o o d
- If she loses her news reporter hat she will cry (guaranteed)
- She loves matpat lore videos considering she's quite nosy I thought that would be so perfect for her-
- Also she's double jointed
just because
Valerie:
- ok first off
ace omniromantic
that's- that's it that the headcano-
- She watches a lot of old discontinued kids shows like the mister men show
- Speaking of which she kins Little Miss Naughty
- the reason why? She may seem shy and sweet on the outside but if someone pisses her off she would go out of her way to either diss the heck outta them or just straight up make their existence the world's worst
she is a savage, traumatized lil abomination and we all love her a lot
DJ:
- weezer fan. enough said.
- also I'm pretty sure he's autistic
- and when you said that he can't function without music you meant that literally
like every time he takes off his headphones to stop listening to music he basically dies (well he doesn't die, he just kinda enters a music-less shutdown state)
- aphantasia. if you don't know what that means I don't have much time to explain it so google it. learn new stuff. it's good for you.
Fruitbat/Zenith:
- adhd. he's really hyperactive.
- like really hyperactive
- do not give him sugar at all costs. do not.
- he WILL cause a sugar rush-fueled rampage and nearly destroy the entire city. the chaos trio learnt that the hard way.
- also he has Korean heritage. Not sure why but he reminds me of a kpop idol for some reason.
- he's phenomenal at not throwing up after going on rollercoasters
- he's the therapist friend of his group
- basically what I'm saying is that he's both extremely hyper and extremely chill at the same time
I think that's everyone! Let me know if I'm missing someone or you wanna hear more!
Penelope doesn't really know her heritage. she's adopted and her dad moves around a lot looking for work (he is a high school english teacher/counselor) but most likely american.
she will def cry if she loses her hat XD
I can totally see her being double-jointed... I never thought of that but it's canon now
yeah Valerie is aroace
all the discontinued kids' shows (same here lol)
DJ likes pretty much all music so he could like weezer. I just don't know them very well
yeah he's autistic
looked up aphantasia and he's actually the opposite I think
or both somehow? like he'd probably have really vivid dreams but not be able to draw people from memory (I'll have to ask my cousin for confirmation)
don't give Zenith sugar. you are correct that is a very bad idea.
his Korean heritage is canon and I actually designed him with a kpop idol in mind so good job
oh he 100% likes rollercoasters
I love your headcanons :D

Drunk as hell and finally watched 101 of Dangerous Romance.
I enjoyed this episode so much. I am so excited to see where this show goes. So excited. I had such a good time with this episode. Here are my real time thoughts.
I'm out here googling Thai baht to USD to try to make sense of these numbers and I'm Big Mad for Thailand.
They really said he lives with his elderly brother in the description online and that’s Papang. I'm furious. He's barely 30.
I’m sorry what are these debts and why does a high schooler have to be concerned about them? Is it his brother's debts or their parents who may not be here?
Oh Perth has shown up being musty.
Aww, Auto's mom is like no you gotta make sure your friend eats. I already love her.
I'm sorry but these fuckass shorts are upsetting me. Perth is out here being menacing and hot but in fuckass shorts and I can't focus. I do know I already hate him and his friends though.
Marc's character is already My Boy cause he is ready to fight and I love that.
HE IS NOT GONNA TAKE HIS $300 CONCERT TICKET OH I WANT HIM DEAD I WANT HIS FAMILY DEAD I WANT HIS HOME BURNED TO THE GROUND
I want you to know the gasp I just let out at them setting the ticket on fire was loud and dramatic and I MEANT IT. I also meant what I said when I said I want these boys to die, I want their families dead, and I want their homes burned to the ground.
OH WE ARE LEGIT ONLY 15 MINUTES IN AND HAVE A FUCKASS TEACHER TOO. OH BITCH. OUT HERE CALLING A KID TO SNITCH. OUT HERE SNITCHING AND REPORTING TO A FUCKING TEENAGER. WHAT A WEAK ASS BITCH.
Sailom, back up everything in the cloud next time. Because this fuck ass grown man is out here being a high schooler's bitch like that isn't the most pathetic thing ever.
Sailom is sassy and I love him. "Wanna be my heroine?" Yes baby. Call him out. Play Boys Like Girls Hero/Heroine.
Perth really is like KNEEL BEFORE ME like he's out of character Loki in The Avengers. That didn't go well for that Loki either sooo.
Are these dudes seriously watching her through the window? That's nasty as hell. My god. Also Perth you aren't needed either. I don't even know your relationship to her but leave her alone. Stop it. Leave her alone. Get a job.
You're trying to mack on a girl but also worrying about Sailom? You're so fucking gay and you don't even know.
WHAT DID THE CUNT TRIO DO TO MY BOY. WHY ARE THEY ALL LOOKING AT HIM LIKE HE DID SOMETHING.
Auto saying throwing water on him from above is a Japanese drama move. I saw them dump slushee on Kiyoi and Hira whooped ass so obviously I want Marc to kill them all.
HE SAID DO IT OPENLY NOT BEHIND OUR BACKS LIKE A BITCH. OH MY GOD. THIS IS MY BABY. HE IS MY SON. I NEED TO KNOW HIS CHARACTER'S NAME.
Not Perth's bitch ass friend being like if my hands weren't full I would have whooped them. Bitch there was a table right there, put your plate down if you bad.
Oh. This young man is just. I want him to get hit with a bat. I know I'm gonna love him (I never hated a man like I hated Ritsu at first and then I loved him in the end) but I want him to get his kneecaps taken out. SLEWFOOT THE BITCH.
YES SAILOM PUTTING THE CARD BACK IN THE BITCH'S POCKET. I just said YES QUEEN ICONIC. IICONIC. outloud in my kitchen while drunk at 1:45AM. YES.
I don't even trust him with his grandma cause he's such a shit. He's like "oh where's dad?" Your dad probably don't wanna be near you cause you suck. Play Daddy Issues by The Neighborhood.
Oh. His dad actually seems good? But I don't know if this is a cultural thing I'm not getting? Like his dad seems good to me cause he's like you don't want politics, just have fun and be a kid. But culturally is this his dad being like YOU A WEAK BITCH THAT CAN'T COMPARE. Because Perth seemed to be real upset about this. And grandma didn't look super happy.
This girl said "are you telling me to beat my dog I clearly love?" Because, once again, he's BOMBING with this girl and doesn't even seem to realize. lol
Auto risked getting fucked up hardcore to warn Sailom and he still showed up to save him. Oh these are my new favorite besties.
DID THEY LOCK UP THE ANGRY ONE??? Of course they did. He would kill all of them. He just needs a gun. Someone give him a gun.
Did he really call this boy in front of a huge crowd and say take your shirt off and kneel at my feet. If you don't, I'm gonna take your shorts off too. Dude, this is something I feel like you gotta work out in therapy. This doesn't need a crowd.
He really is like WOW AUTO REALLY CARES FOR SAILOM THATS GAY. First, he clearly doesn't have friends at all. Second, my dude really needs to examine his own homoeroticism cause my god.
YES GOD AT SAILMON JUST KISSING PERTH INSTEAD. I have spent this whole episode in AWE of her queen shit.
I can’t wait to watch the next episode when I’m less drunk possibly. lol
#dangerous romance#regular clyde#I am having such a good time#I love toxicity I love problematic behaviors I love unhealthy dynamics

Relationship: Family - Eiji Noguchi
Yasuo Noguchi (64 Years Old) - Eiji's father, and a highly acclaimed astrologist. He's written many books on the wonders of space and astronomy, several of which have become required reading in some universities for aspiring astronomers. He is a good family man and in his off-time, he likes to spend time with his wife and grandkids. He can occasionally be seen in his backyard at night, looking up at the stars with his telescope.
Atsuko Noguchi (62 Years Old) - Eiji's mother, and a dedicated mother and wife. She's a retired historian who loved traveling to different parts of the world, finding out the mysteries of ancient civilizations. She met her husband, Yasuo, during one of these trips and love eventually blossomed with the result being three grown children. She isn't exactly sure of Eiji getting involved with Chuohku and the Prime Minister, but supports him, nonetheless.
Taira Noguchi Toshiko (40 Years Old) - Eiji's older sister, and a neurochemist. She's always been fascinated by chemistry and the particles that make up a person or a thing. After years of hard work and study, she was able to graduate from university and join a science lab in Tokyo, where she is putting her smarts to good use. Despite her stern appearance, she is quite a nice person once you get to know her.
Bunko Noguchi Wakabayashi (35 Years Old) - Eiji's younger sister, and a children's storybook author. At first, her heart was set on being a teacher for young kids. But after reading reports and essays she wrote for class assignments, her English university professor recommended she try her hand at writing instead. Though she was, at first, skeptical, her first storybook, Turtles by the Riverside, received the Children's Choice Book Award, which cemented her career choice. She also works as a spokesperson for her older brother's social media platform, PROFILE.
Maiya Satoko Noguchi (37 Years Old) - Eiji's wife, and his "sunshine on a cloudy day". She works as both a social sciences professor and a librarian at the University of Tokyo, and is a former alumna. She and Eiji both met in college during a class project and soon began dating. Fast forward years later, and the two eventually became husband and wife. Like Bunko, she also works as a spokesperson for PROFILE. However, like Eiji's mom, she doesn't like her husband getting involved with Chuohku.
Akeno Noguchi (13 Years Old) - Eiji and Maiya's son, and Una's fraternal twin. Despite his feminine appearance, he identifies as being a 'male'. He is considered the "rebellious" one out of the three due to his appearance, but he really just doesn't like to be bothered by people he doesn't know. He always keeps an eye out for Una at school since he knows how popular she is. He is a lover of food, with his mother's riceballs being his absolute favorite snack. He also cares deeply for his youngest sister, Isuzu, and wishes he could alleviate her suffering somehow.
Una Noguchi (13 Years Old) - Eiji and Maiya's daughter, and Akeno's fraternal twin. Though she swears up and down that she is the older one, even her parents aren't exactly sure who was born first: her or Akeno. She is extremely popular around school, not only due to her smarts, but also her physical skills. Because of that, she is often followed around by her brother, who tries to make sure no one does anything to her. Despite her academic and physical skills, her talent for cooking leaves a lot to be desired. Like her brother, she loves and cares for Isuzu-chan.
Isuzu Noguchi (2 Years Old) - The newest addition to the Noguchi family. She was born with a fatal and unknown sickness that caused her lungs to be unable to absorb enough oxygen, making it hard for her to breathe. It was believed that she would die before the age of two by doctors. Unwilling to accept that, Eiji donated millions of dollars to finding and developing a cure for his child. So far, she has adverted disaster, but Eiji knows that this is only a bandage. He will not stop until he has somehow found a way to make it so that Isuzu can live a normal life like everyone else.
