So everyone is going on about au's where ancients become beast ancients or swap places with them. My brain has recently been cooking (and probably burning) this new au similar yet very different. Mainly because the ancients and beasts are completely different cookies. Forgive me, for I'm about to start an entire novel about this thought.

It's like a role swap between the brave gang + ancients side kicks swapping with the ancients and beasts. I already saw someone make art of what soul jams the brave gang would get and it aligned with this au partially. The sidekicks swap with their ancients and the beasts swap with the brave gang. (yeah no, see why i went anonymous?) The only names that change are the beasts and the brave gang cuz I can't get the others names for crack

was gonna write a oneshot but nvm this is funner (these could be modern or regular AU, although some might be AU specific) also im writing this at night please bear with me (will probably post in the morning tho)

can we start with like — them giving casual touches of affection throughout the day

at first it was awkward when their relationship was still at its caterpillar stage but then a it bloomed into a butterfly they were giving quick pecks or holding hands absentmindedly, not even realizing it until someone pointed it out

always always cuddling

they sleep at the same time (or maybe Kokushibo’s reading and Muzan’s in his arms)

Muzan’s the little spoon you can’t change my mind. It’s not because he’s smaller, just that he’s always the one in higher power, always commanding and above (could be maybe boss or whatever if it’s not regular AU), but when it comes to their relationship, Muzan’s so achingly vulnerable, at Kokushibo’s mercy i swearrr

for modern AU’s, i can see them feeding each other when they have desserts idk it’s cute

Can we have running hands through hair as a comfort. Kokushibo’s hair is long and sometimes Muzan misses his own long hair, but Koku has no problem running his fingers through the short dark locks

Alright, hear me out. Muzan is an expert at putting up hair. With all his fake families, you’d think he’d grow accustomed to putting up his ‘children’s’ hair, so he’s going to brush the fuck out of Kokushibo’s hair and then make little braids on the sides, tying it back into the pony tail, or braiding his hair into twin tails

Guys what if Kokushibo was the one to cut Muzan’s hair (I believe his hair was still long when he recruited Akaza and since he’s like ~200 years old and Koku’s 400+, Kokushibo could be the one parting Muzan’s hair, putting it up and cutting his hair with hands meant for battle yet wielded as gently as a mother tending to her child)

What are you, like four dogs? No. She's like four cats. Duh. So lets analyze what her warrior cat name might be!

First, let's break her canon name up and see what we have to work with:

Kipper - Unlikely to be involved in her warrior name, but not impossible. Kippers are a type of smoked fish. The cats have access to fish and they have access to smoke. It's... theoretically possible they could create kippers. I doubt that they would call that creation kippers, though.

Another possibility is it being a twoleg name of hers. Kipper does seem like a cute name for a cat. After she's accepted into a clan, she still keeps the name, and is ruthlessly made fun of for it. It's such a kittypet name! (It's so unfair. Not everybody gets to have tragic backstories and be related to Firestar!)

Lilly - As it's spelled in her name, not likely. But spelled like the flower, Lily? Well, that's a damn canon name right there! We have seen it used as a prefix before!

It's never been used as a suffix before, but we have seen similiar suffixes in -bloom, -blossom, -flower, -petal, and -rose.

Copper - Another canon name, used as a prefix exactly one time. Canonically named after the color, not the metal.

Kettle - Extremely unlikely. Your best chance is the twoleg name thing, but I don't see kettle as a name for any sort of pet tbh.

So, putting this all together, what is the results?

If we want to stay extremely by the books, I say Copperlily is our clear winner, combining the two canonical names she has to choose from.

For a more literal translation, Minnowlily keeps the fish combined with flower name.

If you'd like an option without the lily suffix, Coppernettle keeps the general tone of her last name intact and also draws upon her personality.

Finally, if you want to headcanon her as a former kittypet or imagine that RiverClan has learned to perfect the art of cooking, then the nearly-canonical Kipperlily is yours for the taking.

Wait, what if they invited Mick over for Christmas back when he was with Whitehorse? They open the door and all they see is this malnourished ginger boy and now there fussing over him because Jesus Christ he looks like he's gonna pass out any minute!

awww the little guy :(( and maybe they don’t necessarily know much about his situation because mick refuses to let them worry about him. they invite him over and as soon as they open the door to see him they’re all scared. he looks two seconds away from passing out and he’s so skinny it’s worrying. they’d immediately crowd around him, fussing over him. there’s someone going “look at you, you’re all skin and bones!” and another going “when’s the last time you ate something? and noddles don’t count, i’m talking a proper meal!”

his mom would scold him for not telling her how bad he was getting (“i could have always sent you some food if you needed it!!” you know the typical suburban mom behaviour) like, they’d probably fix him a plate as soon as he walked in and they’ll let him have seconds if that means he’s not starving any more. like, it’s just his entire family sort of cooing over him and making sure he’s well taken care of. afterwards they’d beg him to ask them for help next time, instead of starving himself to make ends meet… cause the next time they invite mick over, they want to see him healthy and thriving.

i got a few silly questions: what story type genre would saran and vika like (romcom, fantasy, sci-fi, horror...)? would they prefer watching movies, read together a book or separate ones but cuddling, or play games? can either of them play an instrument? do they have favorite flowers? do they have favorite colors?

if vika had the ability to taste things, what type of food would he like? if there are any high places vika can't reach, would saran lift him up with his own arms or use his tentacles to do it? would they be the type of people to go on vacation abroad, go somewhere near, or stay at home?

(on another note, does saran have a heartbeat? if yes, does vika like to listen to it when they lay together, or if not, would saran fill in the quiet with soft words to give vika even more things to focus on?)

So on Easter Monday I met up with an old friend of mine. She’s kinda known due to her work but it’s unimportant to me tbh. But due to her work she has some friends, contacts and colleagues across the board and industries.

What I’ve heard is that Doria and Harry do not get along, not one bit. She and Meghan are awful and downright abusive to him, my friend knows one of their close friends who is also very shocked by it all. But Doria and Meghan know to not leave visible marks. But they are not stupid and have sneakily got evidence of him being threatening and attacking back - drunk Meghan has loose lips.

Doria acts like it’s her house in Montecito and is a little dictator who thrives on drugs. My friend says that what she heard is that Doria deliberately got Harry into things like ayahuasca and it’s because of her that he’s so dependent on drugs. Meghan just does things like coke, marijuana etc.

Nobody sees the kids. My friend has kids and her friend in Montecito has meet-ups and play dates with each other. No sign or sighting of Archie and Lili playing on swings or slides at the playground or mixing with other kids in the neighborhood. Many kids do this and also mix with kids from their kindergartens, schools etc. but apparently Archie isn’t allowed to do so or even go to birthday parties. Some of the kids attend the same school and teachers hate Meghan, Harry and Doria for what they’ve done to Archie and thankful for the nannies looking after him 24/7. There has been nothing said about a birthday party for him either this year with little school friends.

Meghan is away a lot, my friend has a link to the Getty family and is looking into that affair thing. She is in Los Angeles a lot and Harry goes to San Francisco and the Bay Area a lot leaving the kids with nannies and nurses alone in the house as Harry doesn’t want Doria living there without him there. There was an incident with a cook or maid though, that’s become quite well known in Montecito and everyone laughs at it in a way. But they are definitely finding it harder and harder to find not just nannies but also cleaners, pool boys, gardeners etc. although it’s not just money troubles but the close friend of theirs that my friend knows says that Meghan has been dropping hints of them sleeping separately, not together and divorcing.

It’s also true that the school that Archie goes to has been instructed to call him HRH Prince Archie of Sussex. Lili is apparently at an ultra exclusive daycare in Los Angeles funded by Tyler, who my friend knows. The kids seem to be kept apart from each other and not just other kids.

So the rumors were that Meghan has been living in LA or close to because SB is a couple hours away right? So if Lili is going to school there then she has to be close.

I think all three of them are toxic and abusive.

I really wonder how much they pay out for their staff to sign NDA’s.
