I need ideas for a tattoo

Hi everyone! I need some help from someone who’s hopefully more creative than I am (it doesn’t take much). I’m looking for some cool ideas for a tattoo inspired by either Game of Thrones/HoTD or the Grishaverse! please if y’all have some nice suggestions leave them in the comments, I literally suck at coming up with things!

I’ll leave some more details on what I’d like!

The style should be fine line, no colors and I’m working on doing both my arms in a patchwork style so the tattoos shouldn’t be too big

Game of Thrones/Hotd: I’d love something that’s not so obvious, I already have a dragon tattoo! Also, if you can give me some ideas to represent Sansa I’d be very happy!

Grishaverse: I’d love any ideas, especially regarding Nikolai, Nina or Inej! possibly not the “no mourners no funerals quote” I’d like something more unique!

Tattoos are a stressful situation for your body. Stress eats more calories.

As someone whose blood sugar will drop to nothing just for fun sometimes, my post-tattoo snack is 1) carbs and 2) more carbs. Post-tattoo feeding and watering is about answering the body's call to heal the intentional injury. Listen to it.

If you have an underlying histamine issue (I have MCAS), you are gonna itch like a fucker. And, by the way, the burn film is fantastic for healing, but if you are also trapping a bunch of histamines under it, so the itchiness may win against leaving your tattoo stewing in its own healing juices. You'll be fine. Itch cream for the spots around the tattoo and lots of lotion for the actual tattoo.

Take the nap. Trust me. Post-tattoo naps fucking rule.

Back to the histamine thing: My last few tattoos have stayed itchy a week or more after they are fully healed. I assume this is an MCAS thing, the last of the stacked histamine just getting loose. It happens. It's not fun, but at the end, you have art!

That art may sometimes go 3-D if your histamines are up. I can actually tell I'm about to have a histamine blow out because my chest tat, my upper left arm tat, and my lower right arm tat, all like to rise up from the skin when my histamines are high. Yes, it feels weird but also, it's kind of awesome. Also, if you are reading this and going, "Hey, my tattoos rise up and I feel itchy/have weird shits," please go to the doctor and talk about histamine conditions.

helpful tattoo reminder: they are technically Injuries so u have to eat a lot of calories drink a lot of water and sleep a lot after so your body can Heal The Injury

Do the boys have jobs in the modern AU?

I can see Machete possibly being a librarian or office worker. I could also see Vasco being a barista or retail worker, but I can't really imagine either in a Walmart vest.

Part of me thinks it would be adorable if they ran a tiny corner store, but I know its unlikely

I've gotten a lot of excellent suggestions on what Machete could be doing for a living, from high fashion to something do do with history, museums and art, but I think he's doomed to repeat his mistake and choose some kind of high-paying but soul-sucking white collar job, over what he actually wants to do. But again, I haven't decided.

Vasco comes from an upper class background in the modern au, and I've been envisioning his family owning a business that has something to do with horses. His parents might've tried to persuade him to continue in their footsteps, but Vasco probably would've had other plans. He's worked mixed jobs over the years, barista being one of them, and his adaptability and admirable people skills tend to help him to do well on every venture he embarks on. But it's entirely possible he hasn't quite figured out what his long-term calling is.

the word comes out quickly, before you can even think. you cover your mouth in embarrassment-- justified, considering you couldn't keep your reaction in-- but you can't peel your eyes away.

solomon's peeling off his shirt. in the midst of joking around and pouring some for you two to enjoy, he'd knocked the rim of one of the glasses against the bottle, spilling it all down the front of his shirt. so, to avoid soaking himself further, he immediately began to take the long sleeved garment off.

then you said it, and now he's frozen, shirt halfway off.

can you blame yourself, though? you've seen your fair share of shirtless men, as is expected when living in the chaos of the house of lamentation. but they're all smooth-skinned and flawless. some of them have a couple of scars here and there from the great celestial war. their muscles were obviously impressive in their own right. but they all missed something that solomon had-- something you're just now seeing for the first time.

swirling black lines run across his pale skin, curling around muscles, decorating the smooth planes of skin in intricate designs. from across the table, you can make out little latin characters. pact marks. a lot of them. the ornate symbols decorate the exposed part of his lower abdomen, luring you in with strange words and beautiful lines before disappearing beneath his beltline. do they-- do they follow his v-line? holy shit, you're about to start drooling--

"haha, mc, my eyes are up here!"

his charming, light laugh catches your attention. his eyes are sparkling with mirth, lips curled into a cheshire grin as he removes the rest of his shirt and bunches it in his hand.

the pact marks dance up across his broad shoulders and down his arms. they're gorgeous, arcane and mystical as they sprawl down his biceps and spill onto his forearms. you've seen his sleeves rolled up before, so you knew he had a few pact marks, but-- 72 pacts never looked so damn good.

the seven pact marks on your skin had always been a point of your own fascination. but seeing the sigils on solomon's skin made you wonder if you'd ever be covered the same way.

"i need a new shirt," he declares, smirking at you. he take a couple steps towards his room, then stops when he sees you still at the table. "c'mon."

"huh?" you feel like you've missed something.

"you think you've seen all of my pact marks? no, my dear apprentice, i have plenty more where that came from. and since you're so curious, i figured i might as well show you."

you scurry up from your spot and follow him like the obedient little apprentice you are.

You were standing in the bedroom, hands on your hips, looking at your partner sitting on the edge of the bed.

“Shirt off,” you said in a fake demanding tone.

Yoongi raised his eyebrow, but gave in.

“Yes ma'am.” 

He pulled his shirt off. The hiss he made as he raised his arms above his head did not go unnoticed.

You climbed on the bed and positioned yourself behind him, determined to do something about that pesky shoulder pain of his. 

“Okay,” you said, “now relax.”

When you softly put your hands on his shoulders he immediately tensed up.

“That is the opposite of relaxing.”

“Your hands are cold,” he muttered.

You rolled your eyes, which he didn't see, but took a moment to rub your hands together and warm them up.

When you placed them back on his shoulders they yet again tensed up, maybe even more this time.

“You're so tense,” you said, feeling worried. “Relax Yoongi.”

“Never in the history of relaxing has someone relaxed after being told to relax.”

“Never in the history of massages has someone been this tense.”

“I doubt that.” Yoongi turned around to look at you as he was making his point. “Have you ever seen namjoon after working out-”

“Yes I have,” you interrupted him as you turned Yoongi back to face away from you, “now stop talking and start relaxing.”

“I want a different masseuse.”

You knew he was pouting even though you couldn't see it.

“Yeah, yeah, your life is so hard,” you said as started rubbing soft circles on his back. 

Despite all the complaints, you could feel Yoongi trying to relax under your hands. He took a deep breath, and as his shoulders went up and down again, a comforting silence fell in between you. 

You increased the intensity of your massage, paying attention to Yoongi's reaction, but he sat still as a tree.

“Does it hurt anywhere?” You asked.

“Not really.”

“You're lying.”

A single huff escaped from his mouth. "Fine, the usual spot.”

That meant his left shoulder.

You shifted your focus to the problem area and carefully went to work. At this point you knew exactly where to press and where not to press, how hard, how long. It made you feel sad that you couldn't completely take his pain away, so you made damn sure you didn't accidentally make it worse.

“Hmmm,” Yoongi mumbled after a little bit, “that's nice.”

Your thumb stroked across the little 7 tattoo on his shoulder.

It was such a cute little tattoo, with so much meaning, and you adored it. You loved teasing Yoongi with it, bragging about how he was now a tough guy, while the tiny 7 didn't take up more than a centimeter of his skin.

Before you knew what you were doing you had leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on his tattoo. 

Yoongi turned around and locked eyes with you. Because you had just kissed his shoulder his face was really close.

“I didn't know that was a massage technique,” he said. 

You raised an eyebrow. 

“Did it help?”

The corners of his mouth turned up just enough to hint at a smile.

“It did,” he said. “You should use it more often.”

You blinked, not used to that kind of talk from him, and he took the moment to move closer and kiss you on the lips. You kissed him back and he leaned in, wanting more, and god you wanted to do the same, but you had a job to do. 

You pulled away softly and took note of the familiar pout on his face. “Turn back,” you said, “I wasn't finished yet.”

For a second you thought he was going to object, but then he turned around compliantly. 

You resumed your massage.

“You know,” you said, still feeling some tension in Yoongi's shoulders, “my special massage technique only works on people who know how to relax. So I guess I can't use it much on you”

“I hate you,” Yoongi grumbled.

“Nah,” you refuted, “you love me.”

As you felt him soften up under the gentle touch of your fingers, you didn't even need to hear him say it to know that it was true.
