Remember how in the show he always kept using them to gain height on others so he'd be taller and more intimidating? Yeah...

Here's a Wachowski idea.

The Wachowski brothers probably prank each other on a daily basis. Like Sonic's pranks are simple, but effective pranks like shaking a soda bottle or stuff like that. Tails' pranks would be more enhanced, having a whole contraption and operation for his pranks, predicting every move.

But Tails' pranks can sometimes be taken too far because of that, I mean come on, the kid ran over someone with a car.

Knuckle's pranks would be slightly sloppy due to not getting a handle on this 'pranking', but he's very happy when they work.

Maddie and Tom meanwhile sometimes get caught up in their pranks. Tom sometimes joins in on the pranking fun, leaving Maddie to deal with her kids and child-husband. But she does get her fair share of pranks. So nobody is safe from the pranking war.

Ozzie is just happy to be there.

Sonic likes to stick to the classics. Shaking soda like you said, whip cream on a sleeping persons hand then tickling their nose, and he replaced Tom’s shampoo with pet shampoo. He also has an infinite supply of whoopee cushions.

Tails is more crafty. A master of manipulation. He changed the light in his parents room to change colour every time it’s turned on. He stuffs the toes of Sonics shoes with tissue paper, then removes the tissue paper when Sonic takes his shoes off, making Sonic think his feet grew then hit the undo button. He paints Knuckles’ desk chair a new colour and gaslights him into thinking it’s always been this way.

Knuckles’ pranks include himself. Sonics in the bathroom? He holds the knob so Sonic can’t turn it or open the door. Tails gets lifted and placed on a random surface high up, Tom’s truck is facing sideways blocking the entire driveway. Maddie is safe. Knuckles wouldn’t dare prank his Pretzel Mother.

Tom thinks he’s hilarious. If one of his boys or Maddie is walking past the front of his trunk, he honks the horn and scares them. If someone’s in the shower he will flick off the light.

Maddie has a sister. Like sisters do, they torment each other, meaning she has plenty experience. Her involvement was not expected. She sent Sonic a link to a funny video. He was rickrolled. Tails accidentally fell victim to Maddie wearing a scary mask. It was intended for Tom. Tails didn’t think it was funny. Knuckles’ gloves went missing. Turns out they were in a basket just out of his sight. Maddie also gave Tom cold coffee.

Ozzy snatches food from the table when nobody is looking.

Ova Knuckles’ ability to straight up fly would absolutely baffle the Tails squad.

Like gliding is a standard Knuckles ability so most of them are used to that (except boom Tails who hears the other Tails mention their knuckles gliding and is just like huh???) (and maybe movie Tails? Movie knuckles has done a few jumps that look too long and floaty to be a normal jump. But I’m not sure if he can glide or just has an enhanced jump)

And then ova Tails introduces his Knuckles.

and this guy ain’t gliding. He’s levitating. He can stay in the air for as long as he wants, move in any direction without any fuss, it doesn’t matter what pose he’s in and can even do it while holding another person in his arms.

All the Tails are so confused because with most Knuckles you can pull a “a wizard did it” and blame the Master Emerald when something is strange. But ova Knuckles isn’t guarding a Master Emerald and is just like that for some reason. He just says ‘no’ to gravity.

He simply does not make sense to them

Imagine the Tails Squad during the events of sonic unleashed.

Just the amounts of fluffiness all over! Like the squad would be curious and caught up in scientific research to help this Sonic. They'd come together and think of they're own theories on how to fix it, while Sonic and Chip are inwardly concerned about where all of these Tails came from.

Sonic has to babysit all of them, making sure they don't overwork themselves or get hurt until they all have to return home, he also has to buy them ice cream! Meanwhile everyone's both concerned and confused at this giant "monster" watching over what looks like multiple identical foxes.

Neat Lore Bits from 'The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog'

I just wanted to make a little list of everything I come across as I play through this little April Fool's Day game, because it's super cute and so much fun.

— Tails always carries Sparkle Gelatin as a snack whenever he travels. It's "a sparkly jelly that can melt any jaded heart."

— Sonic is world renowned, but not necessarily recognizable by the average person, even if the average person knows who he is and what he did.

— Amy is a huge fan of true crime podcasts.

— Once when Tails was at the grocery store, he slipped on some spilled juice because there wasn't a wet floor sign. Sonic caught him . . . but then also slipped on the juice because he was running too fast, and they both crashed into an elderly shopper's cart.

— Not lore per se, but both the detective and the journalist can't be the murderer or victim of the murder mystery, and got to hang out together for the hour before the game starts. Amy picked Tails to be the detective to her journalist, meaning she wanted to spend that time with him. Awww, Sunset Squad 4 Life 💖🧡

— Blaze prefers the birthday cake in Sonic's dimension to the cake in her own.

— Amy has multiple Piko Piko Hammers for different uses. She carries a lighter one when she thinks she won't need one for the day.

— Shadow is familiar with Super Monkey Ball, but can't get a very high score on it. Also, he signs high score boards as ULTIM (for Ultimate Life Form)

— Knuckles is not used to receiving compliments; they make him blush.

— Knuckles is a sore loser and breaks game cabinets when he can't get the highest score.

— Omochao is wanted for medical malpractice.

— Eggman has written a combined autobiography and recipe book.

— Tails claims to have never played in casinos and to not know how to play card games despite stating that he is banned from casinos for counting cards in Sonic Heroes. Either Sega has decided to retcon Tails' gambling habits, or Tails doesn't like to share his gambling habits with strangers.

— Amy's favorite band is Hot Honey, and Hot Honey band member Jeremy Bee is her current favorite musician.

— Shadow is not good with computers.

— Espio is fluent in 17 languages.

— Espio once speed-read a book just to spoil the ending for Knuckles.

— Sonic believes in the "salt over the shoulder" superstition.

— Sage the A.I. likes to play with robots.

— Shadow likes chocolate cake.

— Sage the A.I. and Metal Sonic have "let's go dad" t-shirts.

— Eggman has rubber ducks that look like himself and Sonic; they are the angry rubber duck and the happy rubber duck respectively.

So all the versions of tails decide to see who's strongest. Who wins?

So for simply I’m just going by raw strength here. So like lifting, pulling and carrying sorta stuff. No inventions or tech allowed.

And this is me just putting them in somewhat of an order based on what I remember off of the to of my head and going off on a bit of a ramble.

I think most of them are pretty close strength wise but… Game Tails easily carried Sonic and Knuckles in heroes. And according to the Twitter takeovers he’s secretly ripped.

Movie Tails easily carries Sonic and struggles, but still manages to Carry movie Knuckles. (Separately though.)

Nine and Sails I think are at a similar level. (We are discounting their mechanical tails remember) but I would give the edge to Sails. There is a decent amount strength required to help man a ship.

for X, Boom and Ova I can’t think of any big feats of strength aside from the standard carrying. But they might have a greater feat of strength that I can’t remember somewhere.

And Mangey can’t fall back on tech normally so he’s had to adjust to more physical strategies. (But he is starving so that knocks him down a few pegs)

Idk how accurate this is. More in depth analysis is possible but take my ramblings anyway
