RECOIL:

After a strange vision, Silver ushers to explore the ruins of the Ark alongside a wayward Shadow, seeking clues to another one of his seemingly prophetic nightmares. Before they can dive any deeper into the mystery, an old device is set off and Silver is captured in its vortex, sending him to the past!

Silver finds himself in the thrust of the mayhem on the Ark, and his goodnature ends up making drastic changes to history when he saves Maria. Now, back in the present, Silver is facing the consequences of his heroism and what it's done to his friends. Alongside Screw (Tails) and their makeshift sonic-robot (Gumball--based on Silver's embellished recounts of his blue blur), they search for a way to right the past and fix the present while avoiding GUN'S ultimate weapon and Eggman's scheming. although, changing time never comes without a cost.

Vampire AU:

Angel Island is the only life Sonic has ever known. Being trapped within the permanent barrier encasing the 8 islands isnt quite his style, so finding a way to destroy it and explore the world below has been his goal for as long as he can remember. Hes got a number of other things keeping him occupied however, trying to prevent the Robotnik family from taking over total control of the islands.

When he isnt fighting them off, hes hanging out with his friends, living his best life being a vampire both day and night. When he wants to get everyone off his back, and feed from his favorite vampire hater, Shadow, he uses his magic staff to change his appearance into an alter ego, Hoax the "Tenrec."

Shadow can’t be cold for too long or else he’ll get really sleepy, delirious and weak. He gets cold super easily so he’s very gravitated towards heat sources cuz of it, more often than not Sonic is one of those treasured heat sources

dc au- puts amy and tails in an alt timeline were nothing went wrong so they can be forever haunted by what could’ve been

due to time shenanigans they accidentally stopped Knuckles from becoming batman and in turn created a domino effect where there was never a raffle to get an internship at Arkham so Nicky never met the Joker so ‘Sonic’ never existed

he’s still nerdy, shy and not very confident in himself, but he’s finishing high school and studying psychology

dc au- feeling eepy so christmas sonadow be upon ye, Shadow’s one is still in wip mode but it took me weeks so im too tired to care rlly

(the tree antlers on shadow’s design are inspired by Evan Stanley’s christmas art)

dc au- Mr Freeze, aka, Gerald Robotnik

during the raid on the Ark, Gerald swallowed the rest of the plant mutation formula before GUN could take it, he was then taken into GUN custody and subsequently court-marshalled (but not after altering Shadow’s memories of Maria’s promise)

but 50 years after he was buried in an unmarked grave near a sewage dump in Gotham City, Shadow’s awakening triggered a rumble through the green that triggered the formula in Gerald’s system to trigger and cause his resurrection, his corpse literally digging himself out of the grave

Unfortunately due to the injuries sustained by the firing squad his mind isn’t rlly all there but the green kinda controls a part of it and starts to try to corrupt his mind and mutate his body, Gerald doesn’t rlly vibe with that so he makes a cryogenic suit to halt the mutation for as long as possible, having to make frequent modifications to the suit to keep up with it (something he can’t do forever with how increasingly fast the green adapts…)

his main aim from when he wakes up is to break into GUN and rescue Maria cuz it turns out that Gerald had started using mutation formula on her while he was still on the Ark so they froze her like they did Shadow so they can try to replicate the formula using her blood and Gerald really wants his granddaughter back to cure her and will do whatever it takes to do that

‘whatever it takes’ means crime in this scenario

Shadow in the meantime has no idea Gerald is still ‘alive’ and kicking, focused on his own goal of terraforming the planet, he doesn’t even connect the dots that Gerald=Mr Freeze because cold and plants do not mix so he can’t get too close without feeling all woozy, too much time in the cold puts him in a comatose state

Gerald, wanting shadow to not be distracted, doesn’t want him to connect the dots so he can focus on his mission

smthn smth breaking cycles smthn smthn transforming a place through acts of love smthn smthn slowly figuring out how to find comfort in each other after all they’ve lost respectively

dc au- trapped a clown in the social situation of all time (amy’s undercover clown arc)

since this mini arc takes place post-suicide squad, sonic is trying to push his doubts away and continue with what he’s been doing. the worst possible thing that could happen to him is for his past to catch up with him

so of course that’s exactly what i make happen lol

also! for the second pic i imagine, though they do fight seriously to keep up the charade, Amy and Tails are honestly trying not to laugh each time they’re fighting, doing cartoon hero/villain banter when they fight and knuckles is so sick of them

that in direct contrast to how tails treats sonic is just so funny to me
