Back at it again with the draw the squad prompts:

First one is what i imagine blues reaction to el and steven getting together (after he gives Steven the shovel talk lol) while the second one is just El getting caught up in James Jessie and Meowths shenanigans

I saw the cape. I saw the cape and I had to draw James in his costume. XD No regrets.

El's friendship with the trio is a bit of strange one, seeing as she once took down Team Rocket and plans on doing so again now that they've clearly shown up again, but Jessie and James aren't evil. They're just... kind of bad at being good, lol. El realizes this quickly when she snaps at them upon first meeting and they have absolutely no idea what she's talking about.

Que El sort of just... paying Jessie and James to NOT help Team Rocket and she becomes their new boss (?) kind of when they see exactly the horrors Team Rocket is committing under their noses. They eventually join El after Groudon/Kyogre's defeat at her flowershop/pokemon daycare, properly quitting Team Rocket. Jessie always wanted to be a nurse and clearly has a talent for it, and James has a wonderful way with pokemon- it's perfect! Jessie can't believe El knows Steven Stone, though, or that they technically have a "past" together.

Also Blue would ONE HUNDRED PERCENT be giving Steven the shovel talk. Especially after his conversation with El all those years ago in the sunken S.S Anne? Oh boi. Blue might actually be more overprotective of El than Brock is.

That being said, he is super happy she's finally found the "mystery guy" who gave her that dawn stone forever ago.
