One thing that is definitely different about the Delos team is how they communicate with the senior teams.

Unlike Young Justice (show), they don't have a mentor-guardian and they aren't exactly cheering for a JL endorsed mission. Like they will somehow capture Darksied and Damian will lock him in a cell without food or water instead of writing a report to the JL.

The justice league finds out about Darkseid a month later and the West twins and Jon are grounded for a year by their respective parents just for knowing about it while Damian gets off scot free despite committing a literal war crime. (Hal Jordan hauls Tai back to Oa for an ethics class)

Superman and Batman definitely try to get Maya and Kathy to spy for them but to no avail. Clark gives them a long winded speech about safety while Bruce offers 50k in cash for info. Kathy just plucks the money out of his hand and the girls walk off.

All I'm saying is that this group of kids is the JL's absolute worst nightmare because they could literally be off on another planet and even Batman wouldn't know!

So, in universe, how do people differentiate between the green lanterns? Do they just say "green lantern saved me" and then no one questions which one? I mean, there's at least three and at most eight! Someone probably said something like, "Now I know it's wrong to slap bald people's heads, but like I was so close to slapping green lantern's head" because they know John as green lantern, but then someone who knows Hal as green lantern might be confused because Hal has hair.

So I was playing around with some costume mockups for AU purposes.

I'm not a real artist, the bases are just YJ reference art and then I just drew some lines on them.

So yeah here's a couple things I came up with:

....Aaaand yeah! There's actually an alarming number of others, but this is enough for today. There are some...weird things going on here, and I'd love to talk about them tbh.

I think every member would call the junior justice league something different and it would totally vary with mentors too!

Damian would try to name it something sophisticated like Delos (birthplace of Artemis and Apollo) but no one else in the group remembers or cares about this name except for Tai who loves greek mythology

Irey and Jai would want Teen Titans to honor Wally's prev team but it doesn't really work because The Titans are still a thing. They are also big fans of 'Superkids' (originating from Flash #797) to the joy of Billy and dismay of Tai and Damian.

Maya and Kathy have somehow gone on a mission to the Marvel universe and decided they want to be called The Avengers for some reason (no one else is even aware of the marvel universe)

Jon has elected the name Legacy League which the rest of the group promptly decided is lame because only 5/8 members have a superhero relative and they are not a JL ripoff! (Damian tackles Jon for coming up with this monstrosity of an idea)

This team name argument goes on for like a month until Batman calls them 'Delos' for their first official mission with the JL (Damian manipulated him) and everyone is so starstruck/terrified by Batman that they simply accept the name... Until Damian lets them into a Wayne gala and everyone's view of Batman is completely shattered by the creature who is flushed red, despite only drinking a sip of champagne, letting himself be passed around like a wine bottle between socialites (They go back to fighting over the name)

idk if you ever read Green Lantern: Alliance (or the book before it Green Lantern: Legacy) it's very cute, but good, has Irey West as Kid Flash with a Kid Lantern, something about it made me think of your art
