After ep 4 of digit circus I have had the urge to draw somein and and au idea has come to mind

Ill explain once I've got a better idea on it

Sooooooooo how’s the AU coming along? I remember that being one of the last things you told me about, but I don’t see much about it in your blog

I havnt had much time to work on it, but I have more details fixed out. It’s still a very simple concept. The Career AU is still a WIP. I filled in careers/jobs for characters that don’t have a confirmed canon career with ones that fit closely with their nature.

Career AU Roles:

Pomni: Accountant

Kinger: Computer Scientist/Developer

Queenie: Entomologist

Zooble: Tattoo Artist

Gangle: Artist/Animator

Ragatha: Nurse

Jax: Minimum wage fast food worker or something.

Bubble: Chef

Caine: CEO/Boss/Director or something of high ranking

And they aren’t human, they still have similar wacky designs similar to canon. And they are still trapped in a VR game. Except the game is basically based of Job Simulator! Caine is similar to the Boss Bot/Tutorial Bot who explains how to do your job… but he’s BAD at it.

And they still have no memory, but they keep finding it odd how well they know how to do their job, making them question if they knew how to do it before hand.

The ongoing problem in this world is that Caine is trying to prevent abstraction, as when someone “abstracts” they need to find someone to fill in that role. Caine is constantly making all the “employees” go on adventures/job conquests that require them to work together.

In short, it’s a AU where the TADC cast enter a Career Simulation. They each have a job that fits them, either because they had that job before or because they would be good at it. None of them know why they have to do these jobs.. They still have adventures, but it seems to be somewhat realistic to actual problems (example: finding out who has been stealing money from the company, helping a particular employee with a task, even though you have no clue how to do their job, etc).

MASTERPOST FOR THE MIXED UP ACTS AU

Premise: The TADC AUs? They work with their creators to create the stories for Tumblr. They’re basically actors. Each AU creator runs their own show.

Gooseworx owns the company (C&A) all of the AUs work at and makes sure everything is running smoothly with the original show and the AUs. She’s pretty chill lol

About 10 AUs work there, but only 7 will be shown

Humans and the characters live amongst each other.

The originals are working nonstop to create episode 2.

There’s a lot of CGI used, so like, the corruption AU? They’re not really that tall. Corruption Jax isn’t 11’2, he’s 6’7 or something lol

Any and all OCs are canon, so like, Erebus? She exists. Sethe? He exists. Any and all Abels? They all exist. They’re basically a species at this point lmao

Also people can submit their OCs and they’ll be given a job!

Only ships the AU creators say are canon will be canon, so for example, sm-baby made Showtime canon in her AU, so Showtime will only be canon in the Carnival AU part of the company.

AUs that are mixed with other games/shows don’t exist, so the Pokémon AU sadly doesn’t exist.

Im still debating wether I will make this a collaborative AU amongst creators or if I just do it myself, so until I make the decision I’ll have to do a lot of research lol

🫧waterpark au concept/general idea! (wip)🌊

working name(?): The Amazing Digital Mer-Park

overview/concept: The circus is replaced with a massive waterpark, each character getting their own section of it that's themed off their personality as well as what their section of the park is dedicated to! while it hasnt been decided who does what yet some examples are:

swimming classes

food, drinks, and treats

water shows

I've also mixed in some mermaid stuff and theming since each character has their own sea creature/animal (based on their personality or what i think suits them best) that they turn into, like a mermaid ofc. I actually have the offical list for this since its like teh only thing ive decided fully on lol (under the cut aswell as more info)

I am considering whether they should be AI that have human souls in them or just be humans on their own as it is normally in TADC.

game overview: The concept for as a "game" is that its a free roam pick your own team sorta adventure. At the start of the game the player would originally get to choose which section of the waterpark they want to go to. This is where they would choose to be a "visitor" (temporary so you can go to other sections of the water park and check them all out or just enjoy the mini games) or they can choose to be an "employee" in which you would help the AIS/Characters with whatever their section is based on or does! its a major wip and im planning on messing around with it but that's kinda the basics as of now

Kinda want to make my own TADC AU

It would be an “Opera” or “musical” au, where instead of a circus, they protagonists are in a giant theater, where they must reenact popular plays / where their every day life is treated as a musical of sorts and they must play along

This comes from the fact that Caine implied that the amazing digital circus was “for all ages”, and while it probably meant “as a video game”, I also feel like it could be applied “as a show”, and from show to opera / musical, the line is VERY thin
