also, a note on kingleys name:

in the series kingleys lastname is shacklebolt. i have changed the name because of the racist subtext. not a lot is known about kingleys origins, so i turned to the actor who plays kingsley in the movies, george harris. he was born in grenda, so i googled popular lastnames from there and landed on mcintosh because i think that suits him much better (and it reminds me of the character from mlp which i think makes it even more fitting) and i feel more comfortable using that name. if anybody else wants to start using it for him please do so!

Isn't it so funny when the colleagues are all talked into a "Professor Snape Costume Contest" without you? Isn't it hilarious how everyone has the exact same brilliant idea for the "Professor Snape Costume Contest"? Severus needed to find a way to wipe that smug grin and ugly mustache off of Remus Lupin's face and to wipe his own memory of Albus- who had a sufficient height advantage to make things even more awkward- in that uncomfortably embellished Bat-suit

the marauders eras girls are so important to me. I love the boys but honestly they don’t even hold a candle to the girls for me. there’s something so beautiful about our fandom coming together collectively to put a spotlight on female characters that were hardly acknowledged in the actual text. getting to add depth to these characters and making them even more special is everything to me.

What are your favorite “we know they exist and they’re barely mentioned in fics” marauders era characters???

Mine are Lucinda Talkalot and Emma Vanity. I even made wardrobe Pinterest boards for them (yes I know jobless behavior).

Emmeline Vance, she is such a lovely character but I RARELY see her at all. Xeno is another one and it's so surprising that there is barely any content when Xeno has screen time and is such a whimsy character. And don't even get me started on Sybil. She deserves so much more attention, there's no way her and Pandora weren't absolutely best friends. Her, Pandora, and Xeno would be such a trio. I need more fics on people who would have been Pandora's friends outside of the Slytherins (and ravenclaw Barty) like emmeline and Pandora could be lovely friends too
