So I wasn't going to watch The Jackal. I don't watch a lot of crime/thriller stuff and I don't really watch Eddie Redmayne tbh (for literally no reason, just not someone on my radar). But I've seen you posting about it so much - and it's so good! I'm all caught up and it's been a wee while since I've watched a tv series that's held my interest so much, since I normally prefer movies.

You know my friends think I keep recommending the series just because of him (and let's face it I was determined to like it just for him anyway) but it's actually very good in its genre and the more people I can get to watch it, the better! We're already getting a second season, and I can't wait for next week's season finale 😎

SO- Ive got to be honest here, @wingedqueenlynx has like fully corrupted me into the Riddleman club so this was her fault entirely! And mix that with the fact that @finzphoenix 's art always inspires me with how realistic and detailed everything is even in black and white (which is such an impressive skill like holy shit-) This piece was bound to happen.

And Side note: I was about to beat Batman Arkham Knight, but my PS4 broke and I had to buy a whole new one AND RESTART EVERYTHING- So beaten up Eddie made me feel better LOL

Aziraphale wanted to say so much more. His feelings – the feelings that he had become aware of so recently – had started to bubble over, threatening to overwhelm him, to break out of him and do something stupid. Something forbidden. He had to stop. He had to retreat. Now. Whatever he was thinking, it wouldn’t make anything easier. As his doubts and his common sense finally started to take over, Crowley put a spoke in his wheel.

The angel watched as Crowley made a familiar gesture with his left hand, and suddenly, the little dust speckles around them stopped whirling, the faint sounds of the city outside fell silent. His arm brushed Aziraphale’s as his hand reached out for the angel’s face, softly caressing his cheek with a thumb, while taking a step closer.

Something had changed in the demon’s expression, turned his tense face soft and smoothing out his features. It sent a spike of anxiety, but also of anticipation down Aziraphale’s spine.

“I thought I have lost you for a moment,” Crowley quietly admitted, in the safety of the little frame he bought them, where time didn’t exist, his fingertips resting on the angel’s face. The honesty in his voice and the deepness in his gaze made Aziraphale shiver. Never had he seen Crowley so unmasked before, his eyes so clear and vulnerable – no hidden meanings behind his words, just straight forward emotional honesty.

“I won’t go anywhere without you,” Aziraphale promised softly.

I’ve been unable to cope with the fact that when Aziraphale’s turnip trick wasn’t working and Mrs. H protests saying “I thought you said he was a magician”, Crowley’s response was the most precious thing ever. He knows DAMN WELL that Aziraphale sucks at slight of hand, and he could’ve said anything here. He could’ve been like, “oh he has stage fright”, or “he’s just used to smaller crowds”, or he could’ve lied and said it was part of the act somehow. But instead he is ADAMANT when he says “he is!” And just to add an extra touch, he tries to help with the turnip trick 🥲🥲🥲 because Crowley “just doesn’t want to see [him] embarrassed” 😭😭😭
