three times kara told nia “you have me”. each time, a different part of kara’s identity.

first time, it was kara zor-el, because she wanted to assure nia that she’s not alone. that someone understood her. kara allowed nia to see her true, full self. she trusted her friend and wanted to make her feel less alone.

second time, it was her friend kara danvers who assured her she’d always be there for her when she needed someone to lean on. nia was grieving and having that support from a friend was really important.

third time, it was her crime-fighting partner supergirl. for the first time in her superhero career, dreamer was faced with a problem she couldn’t tackle on her own. it was important for her to know that she didn’t have to, that she’ll always have someone to stand with her against injustice.

i’m so grateful for their friendship on the show and it’s a shame they didn’t develop them even further. they truly brought out the best in each other.

*womp womp* Graham Hancock is a quack and lost all credibility decades ago ever since he published his books, referencing Chariot of the Gods as a primary source. Which btw heavily relies on the concept of hyperdiffusion, i.e. all ancient civilizations originate from "one superior master race." He has actively committed to and made a career out of contributing to the growth of pseudo-science and anti-intellectualism and has actively promoted Nazi conspiracy theories. His most well known associates are climate change deniers, historical/archaeological disinformationists, and have links to various white supremacy and anti-semitic groups.

Just admit you're racist and move on.

FYI: he's not and never was an archaeologist. He has a fucking sociology degree and is a writer with an agenda.

Some Neris shippers are very chill and that's very good. But others are taking it way too seriously by harassing and some have called Nessians abusive for liking Cassian.

I've been an elucien long enough that I've been called an abuse apologist fairly often. I've also seen long winded rants talking about how eluciens hate women. I like feysand, too, and I'm not even touching the foul things I read DAILY, let alone that have been sent in my askbox.

You guys have got to learn how to block and move on. who cares what people you disagree with say, and I'm asking that genuinely? Lets not pretend a lot of people aren't trolling tags they have no business being in looking for things that'll hurt their feelings.

There is also a heavy amount of "it's not canon so why are you shipping it" going around as well that I find particularly annoying. This is fandom, not the writers room for the books.
