Saw a post about Gansey's car ( @sayyouresurprised ) and remembered that Gansey says

On the outside, he knew he looked a lot like his father. On the inside, he sort of wished he looked more like the Camaro. Which was to say, more like Adam.

And about how it was the Camaro that brought Adam and Gansey together. And also something about how Gansey's old, fast, bright orange, expensive car reminds him about Adam. How Gansey thinks that his favourite thing in the world is like is best friend is on the inside. Wtf

i just finished re-reading the raven boys and it strikes me so hard how much gansey wants to be like adam. adam wants to be like gansey as in for his money and way of speaking. but gansey wants to be like adam inherently, as in adam's personality. which just blows my mind because adam's want is superficial whereas gansey's is intense and deep how he wants to change his person to be like adam... maybe gansey was a lot more in love with adam than we give him credit for so at this point the whole crew is in love with him?? ronan, blue and gansey
