OVHHHHH MY GODDDD YESSSSS so good. SO good. he's with clark, more in the regular life than as superheros, but it falls apart. then to try and pick up the pieces, to satisfy the tension thats always been there between them, he dates wonder woman, but more as their alter egos than as civvies, thinks maybe thats what did them in, and doesnt want to be bruce right now, he wants to disappear into the cowl. but that goes south too, and she breaks it off. and then diana and clark start talking, amd they do have a lot in common, stronger than people but still trying to fit in, forced away from their birth families, deep senses of justice. he's kind and caring, she's strong and opinionated, they suit each other on and off the battlefield. and they just kind of... fall into each other.

and bruce has to watch the two people he loved and completely fumbled FALL FOR EACH OTHER. AND THEY DONT EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO BREAK UP, THEYRE LIKE REALLY COMPATIBLE AND STAY TOGETHER, ITS TORTURE. YEEEESSSSSS

8. Pre-N52 or N52?

Let's be real guys the new 52 was a bad idea. Like the idea isn't new. Marvel did it at least 2 times. Franklin's new world and Ultimate comics. Where you just reset continuity and rehash actual good stories. And writers rehash good stories even when continuity is normal. But yeah it alienated fans but we got several gems from within the reboot. Also people ignore the few titles who reboot didn't touch. Like Green Lantern and Legion of Super-Heroes. Also people sleep on Grant Morrison's Action Comics. Clark was a chaotic agent of socialism and it was awesome. Honestly, and I say this with no exaggeration, I really miss the 2010 status quo in the DCU. There was a lot it was building to and we just didn't get it. As I understand Superman Grounded was canceled halfway thru and some n52 stories felt like the writing was being phoned in. (im not naming names) But I am altogether happy to see how the landscape has evolved.

10. Death in the Family or Death of Superman?

Guys you know I'm not really a Batman fan. Death and return of Superman all the way. I never actually read Death in the Family. Like 3 years ago I collected the whole saga. I loved it. I read the original trade back in 2008 as I was getting into comics. I was 14 years old then and I was stuck in a group home away from my family for almost a year. I was really sad and seeing Superman die and sacrifice himself to save everyone really got me emotionally and felt extremely cathartic for me. Like I was feeling a lot of emotions and I was separated from my family and didn't want to think about that. So "mourning" Superman was a way for me to cry and express those emotions while not feeling helpless about being a ward of the state. Like I could control being sad about Superman cuz I know he comes back y'know?

23. So you prefer Superman and Wonder Woman, Batman and Wonder Woman, steve Trevor and Wonder Woman or does it even matter?

It doesn't matter really. At least to me. Here's my take tho. If you like SuperWonder your name is Frank Miller and spend a lot of time thinking about how superpowers affect how people fuck. If you like WonderBat you grew up watching the Justice League cartoon and you have good taste in cartoons. Steve Trevor of course is the classic ship and really I feel Steve is best as DCU's resident Simp and that is an important role in the ecosystem.

All his life, he had to hold back. No Little League for little Clark, no football for teenage Clark, even in the Justice League, Clark was used to holding back when he trained with someone. Not that he did it a lot – why would he, he was so strong, he didn't need to know fighting techniques. Every now and again Bruce demanded it though, but even then Clark had to hold back.

Until Diana entered his life. She was a literal demigoddess. Flight, strength, might. For the first time in his life, Clark broke a sweat. He had to push his limits. And Diana, in doing so, demanded form. Raw strength was not enough with Diana anymore, he had to learn proper form and fighting technique. But with Diana, he didn't mind. He enjoyed learning from her, he enjoyed spending time with her. The two grew closer, uniting over their feeling of otherness. A goddess and an alien among men, exploring this world. And though Clark had grown up in this world, sometimes it still felt so alien to him, when he flew over the city, he didn't feel like a part of it.

They started dating soon after and fell in love, fighting side by side and living side by side. Diana came to really love the farm, just how grounding it was to work hard in the fields. It became their refuge and Clark's ma was more than happy for the help. She did have regular help by now, because Conner had come to live at the farm and he too seemed to enjoy the farm-life and hard work.

It was good, having this home to return to. Between his work at the Daily Planet and his work as Superman, the farm life grounded him. It became home when Diana and him had their first child, because Clark wanted his son to grow up with the values he had learned in Smallville. Diana, having fallen in love with Smallville herself, agreed that this was the best place to raise a child.

“Okay, kiddo. You gotta watch your ma and me closely, you here?”

It came surprisingly easy to channel his father, even though Jonathan was gone, he guided Clark through parenthood. Their son, Jonathan Kent, was eight years old and started to manifest powers. He was more than just a Kryptonian, he was half-Amazon, had godly blood on top of his alien blood. He was going to be so strong and with that, Diana and Clark new they had to train him.

Jon sat on his grandma's lap, wiggling his nose as he watched his parents wrestle. Not all out. The irony of that; the first thing they had shared was that they could go all out with each other. But with their son, they had to teach him how to hold back, had to teach him the steps. Diana was smiling playfully at him as she had Clark pinned to the ground.

“Mommy wins!” declared Jon proudly, clapping loudly while Martha laughed.

Diana smiled pleased as she helped her husband up, pulling him close enough to kiss.

The only reason dc doesn't let the trinity become a poly relationship is because the superwonderbat family would be to powerful for anyone to handle.
