A new fundraiser has just been started to help a Sudanese health clinic.
Tumblr media
As the rainy season starts, there's an increased risk from diseases like cholera and malaria. This clinic will be the only available health resource for 60,000 households.
Tumblr media
The people behind it are very trustworthy, they've already been setting up gofundmes for food and healthcare in other places in Sudan.
I've tried to kick things off and I hope those that can't donate will help boost.
Tumblr media
Edit: link to the actual gofundme, d'oh!
Edit on 2024-08-17: locking post because gofundme is closed

VERY URGENT!!
Eman and her family are trapped in Sudan without food, water, or healthcare. All around them, the RSF and SAF attacking both each other and the Sudanese people. They have been in this horrible situation for over a year, and are trying to collect funds so that they can evacuate to safety. However, the fees Sudanese people are charged in order to evacuate are absurdly high, and with Eman’s family being large, they are still a long way from reaching their goal.
Now, the RSF is closing in on Eman’s location. Some people are trying to flee, but there is almost no working transportation, and nowhere safe to flee to.
This is the link to her GFM: https://gofund.me/2b201b40
If you cannot or prefer not to use GFM, you may use this site instead: https://chuffed.org/project/111277-help-us-flee-sudan
Thank you

"you're an accelerationist"
I watched a Sudanese mom describe helplessly listening as her young daughters were raped by soldiers. The only reason I think they survived is cuz the mom told the reporter that all 3 of them were impregnated.
That same day I saw a 4 year old Palestinian boy looking for his brother's head.
If you don't have the heart to think these people are worth getting off your ass and protecting I don't think I'm the monster with a fucking problem.
Call me whatever you want but join an armed militia while you're at it.

$3,064/$30,000
This campaign was started by @/atute_insp on tiktok and her team Mutual Aim to collect money for the DRC, Sudan, and Tigray. The donations will be divided between the three causes. If you would like do donate but don't have the funds to donate to multiple campaigns, this is a great way to help both the Congo, Sudan, and Tigray.

You know how eagles will lock talons midair and plummet in a death spiral together till the last possible moment as a mating ritual?
And how Dr. Lilla Watson said “If you have come here to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together."
Well if u wanna join talons with me and have 25$ to donate to a cause of your choice (charity, non profit, w.e.), you should fill out this form with your shippin info (it also explains more) and ill also donate + send u a print >3
Update!! (may 2024) I am closing my google accounts so this form is no longer accessible but if you dm me we can figure out the details if youde like any remaining prints!

dropped a new t-shirt w rawpaw for their "dreams" challenge & the dream is LANDBACK WORLDWIDE 🖤
I present to you this sigil against capitalist realism (AKA the worst idea in human history: that an earth under capitalism is the only way for humanity to function.)
a different world is not only possible - it’s hundreds of years overdue. shirt can be found HERE. 100% cotton, screenprinted in texas <3 grateful for any shares w folks you think may fw it.
decolonial symbolism breakdown & image description is below the cut~
a multipanel white illustration against a black background.
TOP L: a night flying moth with the words "LANDBACK" - reps change, fluidity, & adaptation (read up on the evolution of the peppered moth - so cool!)
TOP R: a shining blade with the words "WORLDWIDE" - a tool of farmers everywhere (the machete, Indian aruval, Filipino bolo, Afro-Caribbean panga) & global symbol of decolonialism
CENTER: a huge baobab tree with people dancing & gathering fruit underneath. its roots crush military weapons long buried underground - a tree of great spiritual significance across continental Africa & Australia, long used as gathering places, sites of shelter, abundance, and resilience in difficult climates.
BOTTOM L: flowers grow from tear gas grenades - based on Subhiyah Abu Rahma's garden, in memory of her son Bassem, unalived in 2009 when an IOF soldier launched one into his chest. bc “less than lethal” weap0ns will always be lethal in the hands of fasc1sts
BOTTOM RIGHT: a panther pushes out from a lush forest, gazing at the viewer - represents the human rights past generations have fought for, a reminder to not let down one’s guard, to never forget past struggles even if we live in relative comfort, and to never settle for anything less than total liberation. & lastly
BOTTOM CENTER: an orca sinking a yacht - because... well, I trust you get it by now.

Aya Al-Sharif is a student from north Gaza. She and her family were displaced during the early days of the invasion, and life has been extremely difficult for them. Their home was destroyed, she lost her grandfather, and her university was destroyed. They are currently living out of a sweltering tent near the beach in central Gaza. Her sister has special dietary needs, which cannot be met due to the scarcity of food, causing her to be sick constantly.
Aya and her family are trying to evacuate Gaza to Egypt so that they can start over, but they cannot do so without your support.
The breakdown of funds is as follows:
Aya $5,000
Father $5,000
Mother $5,000
Brothers (x 2) $7,500
Sisters (x 4) $10,000
Living expenses in Egypt (for 9 people) $15,500
Aya’s family is large, and as you can see, the fees they are being charged for evacuation are absurdly high.
Aya and her family cannot raise the required funds without your help. Please support her campaign by reblogging this post, reblogging the posts on Aya’s blog @ayaelsharef and sharing the link across all your social media accounts. Help this family get to safety and make a fresh start.
Thank you

Have seen very little discussion on this website about the situation in Haiti and figured maybe I’d try to start the conversation?
For those who aren’t aware, Haiti is the only country that led a successful slave rebellion which led to the establishment of an independent country, and a day hasn’t passed where they haven’t been punished for it. The country never had a chance to flourish as the west made sure to suck it economically dry and then dip when nothing was left.
This has left the country horrifically unstable in every way possible. However, the last few years, it has been on the brink of collapse due to absolutely no political leadership and as of now, Haiti has completely collapsed. The country is mostly run by gangs all competing for power. There is no where for refugees to escape. The west has completely abandoned any meaningful intervention and it has mostly been South American, Middle Eastern, and African countries who only seem interested in trying to bring peace. But since 2024 has begun, it is a terrifying place to be full of completely innocent people being screwed over by the west for standing up for themselves.
Of course, this is heavily over simplified and I have no personal connection to Haiti. So under the cut, I’m adding much more accurate and insightful information, as well as fundraisers, books, petitions, and Haitian run businesses and social media accounts. As someone who is studying history, it doesn’t take long to realize most nations struggling today have been victimized for wanting autonomy and freedom. From Palestine to Sudan, to DRC to Ukraine, there is so much preventable tragedy. As someone from a country who has historically inflicted these conditions on a lot of these nations, it’s frustrating to feel powerless to the injustice. I truly find the only thing that puts my mind at peace is education and spreading awareness. Don’t let their suffering be in vain.
