VERY URGENT!!
Eman and her family are trapped in Sudan without food, water, or healthcare. All around them, the RSF and SAF attacking both each other and the Sudanese people. They have been in this horrible situation for over a year, and are trying to collect funds so that they can evacuate to safety. However, the fees Sudanese people are charged in order to evacuate are absurdly high, and with Eman’s family being large, they are still a long way from reaching their goal.
Now, the RSF is closing in on Eman’s location. Some people are trying to flee, but there is almost no working transportation, and nowhere safe to flee to.

VERY IMPORTANT!! PLEASE READ THIS AND RETWEET IT TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My friend Amal Omer whose family is currently stuck in Sudan is in need of donations so her family can evacuate to safety and access basic human resources.
For those uninformed, there has been a huge ongoing civil war in Sudan since April 2023. More than 10,000 people have been slaughtered and with 8 million citizens being displaced. Since the war, the Sudanese people including women, elderly and children suffer from severe malnutrition, the spread of infections due to proper lack of hygiene and are driven to the brink of death by famine and starvation. Her 9 year old cousin who is unfortunately still in Sudan works intense manual labour to provide for his mom after his father's departure from this world as a martyr. Due to financial crisis, many such children are forced to not go to school to fend for their families in this brutal war. Women have no access to menustral pads, toilets or basic hygiene and are even forced to give birth under such inhumane living conditions. Now I am reaching out to you for help. Your contribution can make a profound difference in helping us to rebuild the lives of Sudanese citizens by evacuating them to safety. The funds will be transferred directly to Amal and be used for passport and visa issuing, internal transportation fees to the airport city, plane tickets and a temporary decent shelter along with clean water and food. DONATE IF YOU CAN OR AT LEAST SHARE THIS WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO HELP STOP THE GENOCIDE IN SUDAN This is the link to her GFM: https://gofund.me/a404326f

Just a genuine reminder, simply liking and reblogging posts or just paying attention to what's happening in places like Palestine, The Congo, Sudan, Yemen, Syria, etc. Does help!
If you can't donate or boycott because you're a minor or in a situation where you can't afford to try signing petitions and spreading awareness so others who can afford to can have information
Edit: there are a lot of good suggestions for what to do in the reblogs that I forgot to mention

I don’t want to sound desperate, but I feel like so many of you don’t care or have stopped caring about the struggles of LGBTQ refugees in East Africa.
We are a group of queer refugees living in a very hostile refugee camp. Every day, we fight to survive amidst starvation, a lack of clean water, and the constant threat of disease. Some of us are battling malaria and HIV without access to proper medication. Our stories are heartbreaking, but they barely reach the world.
It has now been 4 days since we last received a donation. Many of us are running out of food, and clean drinking water is a luxury we can only dream of. Some members of our community, including children, are dangerously malnourished. We live with the reality of illnesses that could be prevented if we had access to basic healthcare.
Tumblr media
What will it take for the world to care about us? As LGBTQ refugees, we have been silenced, abandoned, and persecuted, but we refuse to lose hope. We need your support to make it through another day.
Please, if you’re reading this, consider donating to help us. Your contributions will go directly toward food, clean water, and essential medication. Every little bit helps. If you cannot donate, reblog this post and spread the word. Your kindness and generosity can save lives.
The very fact that we are still here, holding on, is a testament to our resilience. But we can’t do this alone.
Please, share, reblog, and if you’re able, donate. Together, we can bring hope and relief to a community that has been forgotten by the world.

Hi, my name is Eman Abdel Rahman, I am a 25 years old from Sudan. My family are currently in dire need of assistance due to this ongoing war. My family experienced a devastating loss on the 24th of June when our home in Khartoum was bombed while we were all still in it. We lost my younger brother to this tragedy and words cannot express the pain we endured and continue to endure. We sought refuge with relatives further north in Sudan, they have been a lifeline during these difficult times and we are immensely grateful for their support. However, our situation continues to deteriorate as our relatives can no longer afford to support us and we need a place to live. Now I am reaching out to you for help. Your contribution can make a profound difference in helping us to rebuild our lives and survive during this war. Donations will go directly towards our basic food and housing needs. Me and my family would be forever grateful. Thank you for your compassion and consideration.
Eman needs your help. Please share. If you can, donate. No amount is too small

Aya Al-Sharif is a student from north Gaza. She and her family were displaced during the early days of the invasion, and life has been extremely difficult for them. Their home was destroyed, she lost her grandfather, and her university was destroyed. They are currently living out of a sweltering tent near the beach in central Gaza. Her sister has special dietary needs, which cannot be met due to the scarcity of food, causing her to be sick constantly.
Aya and her family are trying to evacuate Gaza to Egypt so that they can start over, but they cannot do so without your support.
The breakdown of funds is as follows:
Aya $5,000
Father $5,000
Mother $5,000
Brothers (x 2) $7,500
Sisters (x 4) $10,000
Living expenses in Egypt (for 9 people) $15,500
Aya’s family is large, and as you can see, the fees they are being charged for evacuation are absurdly high.
Aya and her family cannot raise the required funds without your help. Please support her campaign by reblogging this post, reblogging the posts on Aya’s blog @ayaelsharef and sharing the link across all your social media accounts. Help this family get to safety and make a fresh start.
Thank you

Emergency funds needed for South Sudanese refugees
Hi all, long story short, Abdul and his friends need more money quickly as food is becoming scarce in his camp due to shop closure and an increase in refugees.
I've been supporting him as much as I can but I've only just started working again and have bills of my own which eat up most of my check. Any amount donated is immensely appreciated!
I want to end this by saying I'm incredibly grateful for all the help you've shown Abdul. Just a few days ago I had the honor of sending him a couple hundred dollars that'd been raised over the past few weeks. To see photos and videos of Abdul you can check out #abdulfund on my blog
Below I've copied a message of what Abdul has told me over whatsapp:
Hello my friend hopefully you are doing well today I would like to inform you about a very very important issue happening here at the camp, yesterday but one there happened a gun fire outbreak in juba capital between the army and the natives of different tribes and it left to curfews in juba plus all other places in the country,
Yesterday all shops in camp where closed but today some shops have opened but the army is patrolling the whole camp now we have been warned to stock food as the shop keepers cannot move to the capital to get us usages,
I would ask for some urgent support for food so that as we still not aware of when the curfew will end so please I am humbly asking you to help me with some funds so that I can stock food such that I don't starve in this miserable situation happening at the camp.
I hope you are able to see on internet what is currently happening in juba and the neighborhood centers in south Sudan.
The struggle left almost 50 people dead and also in camp the struggle left some police officers killed as well as a few refugees from Ethiopia but at least the security is a bit tight at the camp because we are some miles away from the capital as the camp is in the desert surrounded by military baracks it's what keeps us a bit safer from these attacks and UN has its army base close to the camp.
I will keep you updated on our situation
Thanks yours Abdul luyombya.

I dont think most non black people actually want to face their own (personal and communal) anti blackness. Black people are not seeing enough of yall doing shit that actually matters like, cutting contact with your anti black family, giving up work promotions and giving the to black people, opening up your homes to poor/homeless black people, doing more than just casually reading vauge black leftist theory online and being "friends" with black people because you know itll boost your political capital.
I dont believe in black people giving our energy to non black people or their issues until we can give this level of support to our own communities. Most non black people do not care that we exist and the ones who do are falling short of what it means to truly be a friend and co conspirator. I dont believe in solidarity anymore, it literally cant exist if non black people do not choose to put a large organized sustained effort into combating anti blackness in their hearts, homes and communities.
