McZupp Corporation

McZupp Corporation is the sole Hexopoly corporation that remains a major player in the Void outside of the Hexopoly's sphere of influence. Its CEO, Emericald McZupp, masterminded the shattering of the Fourth Wall and the subsequent disaster reconstruction efforts by utilizing his late wife's research notes, and the corporation immediately moved to acquire a monopoly on Chancylvanian-produced voidship engines and shielding. While its industry was once solely robotics and consumer electronics, it now also serves as a vector for the other corporations to gain a foothold outside the Hexopoly's influence.

As of the present day, McZupp Corporation handles military technology and mercenary work, drone-based e-commerce shipping for hyve.net, printing and distribution for card game Crossfire Monocle Breakdown and its expansions, and the extremely popular Loot In The Box fast food chain (known as Substantially's in its home universe). Still, it maintains a connection to its roots by continuing to operate a consumer electronics development and manufacturing plant in Straightflush Swamp, built a few miles away from the long-abandoned Chancylvanian And Shellestokaran Institute for Narrative Occurrences.

Emericald McZupp himself is considered by many to be an unabashed eccentric. Perpetually """overworked""" (his own words) and entirely flippant, his quirky, disarming exterior hides an extremely sharp and conniving mind- or at least it used to. In recent years, Emericald has been less headstrong than in past times- and some rumors swirl about that he's become entirely apathetic to the inner workings of his own company. These reports are corroborated by McZupp Corporation's startling (and heavily suppressed) workplace injury statistics, which have only trended upwards in recent years but of which the general populace remains unaware. Emericald's son Daniethyst Keanezite McZupp (known as "Keane" to his fans), a model for the McZupp Sentinel™ line of power armor and a (relatively minor) celebrity on the Voidic stage, was recently entangled in the events of the Paradox Wars as a Descendant. The publicly available Vwitter feed of his (possibly self-described) best friend Ian Lunaris indicates that Keane's small and reclusive friend group acquired and played a pirated game of SBURB for an unknown reason; shortly after, the esteemed grounds of McZupp Manor disappeared, as well as Keane himself. Keane has since been identified as one of the Descendants in conflict with the Godmodder, elevating him to the status of a Chancylvanian national hero- albeit one who has mysteriously remained out of contact with authorities for many months.

The Chancylvanian Hexopoly

In the early-ish days after the Second Godmodding War and the collapse of the Trifecta, no one was around to help pick up the pieces. As the Void darkened and grew more caustic, the effects of the IUPC's removal from the timeline began to pile up more urgently- the various remaining Voidic polities were doing what they could, but that only goes so far when one of the Void's biggest peacemakers retroactively disappears from existence.

Then, a salvation of sorts. A lone universe, previously thought unremarkable- mostly because almost no one had ever heard of it- shattered through its fourth wall to lend aid. With only a small functioning fleet of voidships and an above-average understanding of narrative trope invocation, one universe alone could not hope to help everyone, but a sizable chunk of smaller polities found themselves indebted to Chancylvania for its assistance.

Some of them very literally, when the bill arrived.

The Chancylvanian Hexopoly is not the Chancylvanian government, but only by the barest of technicalities. Instead, each of the six corporations in question- Obsidian Investments, McZupp Corporation, Explosion Collective, Hyve.net, Lucky 7 Entertainment, and Substantially®, Limited- are owned by one of the six Oligarchs, with each company specializing in a breadth of different industries- and due to the oligarchic capitalist structure of Chancylvania, the CEO of each business also serves as a member of the nation's executive council- the High Rulers.

what started like a simple, tranquil day rapidly became much more hectic and irritating, so much that rouxls just wants to go to sleep. he’s been surrounded by enough problems to not even wish to solve a puzzle to calm his nerves down  ——  he solved enough of them already, with all the happenings of the day. between confused soldiers not knowing where they’re even supposed to stay, sudden requests from above that made him run through half the reign, parts of the castle that fell, they just fell with no reason, and that little goofball brat of lancer causing mayhem on purpose, rouxls could be defined absolutely done.

reason why seeing someone walking in a part of the castle that is supposed to be empty, and not recognizing them immediately, doesn’t exactly makes him happy.
