BLOG POST: I ran #CortexPrime for my niece last weekend in a fantasy setting, as a mythical creature protector. Here's the write-up of what happened.

So a little bit of something different from us today. We thought we would share heraldry from some of the places that have been mentioned or visited in Some Other Heroes So Far.

First up the city where it all started. Cloud's Cairn

Next up is the Flag of the Royal nation of Daclain, where Malwind (where are adventurers currently are) floats close to the boarder of the Empire.

The Sun and moon represent the two major religions of the region, Those belonging to Sister Sun and Brother Moon.

* The banner of the Misktrium Empire depicts two dragons entwining a sword representing the strength of the Empire. The imperial crown sits above flanked by those of the 4 major peoples who make up the empire, Dragonborn, Human, Dwarf and Halfling. The 4 grey gems show industry

The Ashor Thalasocracy is the youngest of the great nations. Its flag is a mighty airship and the lands they protect on a sea of cloud. The power of their freedom has broken the chains that others would put on them a constant reminder of their goals to not be ruled or be ruly.

The City of opportunities; Vadarak. A chaotic place that loves the flow of coin and commerce above all. The Great rooted scales represent how trade nourishes all that the city touches and the seals of the 9 Guilds who run the city are attached below.

And finally: Fallen peak, A Dwarven city now a haven for Artificers, engineers and shipwrights of all people. The 2 axes are for the Wuix & Dvergr who joined hands & rebuilt after Ascention & A Crown remembers the now exctinct line of Dwarven kings who brought them to the skies.

I want to call attention to a fantastic source of 3d printable miniatures that print without the need for supports or rafts even on a janky old Ender 3 like mine. These four are all from @illgottengames / @dutchmogul for their Pocket Tactics game. When Last We Left Our Heroes…

Just a quick note about players taking notes and recapping the last session for the group. This secretary or scribe position is important to the flow of my game. Lots of love for the note-takers of any group.

The importance of session recaps. I’ve seen this done a couple of different ways. My preference is to have one or more of my players give a summary from their notes. It shows me that they’re paying attention to what’s going on. Elliot Balson (https://www.artstation.com/ellbalson) is starting on the interior art. We're working through the pregen agents of Rainbow Intelligence Services first. He started with Milly Benson, since her design was already depicted on the cover. I only had one note, remove the doorway, since she's doing that on the cover. The flashlight stays as it's important to her character.
