Luke couldn’t understand all Artoo’s excited beeps and whirrs. His Binary was pretty good, but the sheer speed of this torrent of communication was more than his brain could handle.

“Wait, slow down, buddy!”

The droid’s dome spun, accompanied by an exasperated thweep.

“So it was an electric mouse that helped get your SOS out to me?”

An affirmative beep.

“Then where is he now?” Luke scanned the high grass. “No life signs on the scanner.”

A few more beeps and blerps.

“Fine, we’ll find your new friends before we head back. I’d like to say thank you,” Luke smiled.

This is based on / a drabble sequel to my fic Artoo's Viridian Adventure, a Pokemon/Star Wars crossover.

Starwarstober Day 16, Jedi. Uno reverse card! Anakin and Obi-Wan tried to go undercover as clones, so this time Cody and Rex go undercover as Jedi! I don't know what I did to make them look so babyfaced skfjls but here we are anyway, they look like they'd be padawaaaaaans

Shyriiwook had never sounded quite so gentle to Leia’s ears. Now, as the Wookiee family discussed Han’s rescue, she wished she’d made more of an effort to learn it.

Chewie’s response to Dryanta was forceful, and loud. They hugged then, as only Wookiees can, as if one was trying to squeeze the other to death.

“Threepio,” she whispered. “What did he say?”

“He said General Solo is his best friend, Mistress Leia. That’s the reason they’re going.”
