I’ve always personally headcanoned that if Mandalorians DID have certain stereotypical family/relationship roles it wouldn’t be anywhere close to gendered, like one person is the man and one person is the woman. It would be like, one person is the shield and one person is the sword. One is the guard and one is the hunter. The bigger and stronger of the two — traditionally, though obviously every marriage would be different and most wouldn’t conform exactly, especially with polyamory — might be the one to stay home and guard the kids and the clan. While the faster, more maneuverable and perhaps deadlier of the two went out and hunted, provided, initiated raids. A Mandalorian couple fighting together would be so dangerous for so many reasons but principally because if they’re both there it probably means you’re on their territory and both the guard and the hunter are after you, and now you’re seriously fucked.

Din studies the men below them with a soft hum. When he speaks, the vocoder almost manages to mask his judgement. “Your father took in a lot of foundlings.”

Boba isn’t sure if his sudden urge to laugh hysterically is due to the idea of his father, a man who decided to be cloned rather than have intercourse, being seen as a manwhore by a mando cult or at the image of Jango learning someone thought the clones were sentient enough to be his children.

“Wait here. I must speak with them first before you join me.” Boba ignores the statement as he gestures downward with flat palms.

Din’s annoyed impatience is made obvious by the severe downward tilt of his bucket. “I thought you said they would help.”

“I said we need their help.” Boba glances sidelong at the Guard. To all appearances the men haven’t seen them yet, but Boba knows they’re just waiting for Fox’s command.

What Fox is waiting for is harder to say.

I like to imagine in a world where everything's good and nothing went wrong, a young adult Boba and Omega would meet and become friends (grudgingly on Boba's part).

They sometimes help each other out on missions and adventures they both get into. And after they will go hangout at a bar and have 'we're sibling but also not really' conversations.

This includes Omega making fun of Boba's new religious-cult friend, Din, before realizing Boba definitely, maybe LIKE-LIKES the sewer rat mandalorian lol.

Thank you for the votes and comments on my post about drawing BobaDin! Although the poll is not concluded yet, I think the current results are good enough for me.

Before I formally start working on BobaDin fanart, I want to establish my version of Boba Fett first. So, here's my first attempt! (After drawing Din and Boba, I think curls have now become my favorite hairstyle for men!)

I know my interpretation of Boba isn’t canon-accurate because I haven’t finished watching "The Book of Boba Fett" and "The Clone Wars" animated series. However, I really love the version of Boba I've read about in some fanfics, so I decided to settle on this type of Boba for now—

Younger (so he still has those wonderful curls), impatient, impulsive, sometimes ill-mannered, bad-tempered, but very loyal and responsible, he can be quite tender when he wants to be (e.g., when he’s with Din), protective, and not good at communicating, especially when he feels jealous, he tends to keep his thoughts to himself and becomes quite grumpy...

What do you think of my version of Boba Fett? ✨🥹✨
